We recently lost our rescue cat, who we adopted as a senior. About: My aim is to make sure your dog is happy, loved, entertained, walked and fed in the same way as if they were at home. I work from home so am here all day to look after your dog as I do my own gorgeous golden retriever, Stan. I wake up early (06:30) to say hi, provide breakfast, and let Stan and your lovely dog out in our safe garden followed by a cuddle. Then we’re out for a walk in the lovely open spaces on our doorstep. If it’s the weekend - and your dog is keen - we’ll go to the beach for a swim or paddle! Otherwise happy to stick to our lovely countryside walks :) Chill time then playtime in the garden followed by another walk later. Then dinner and an evening play and chill whilst we cook dinner and relax at home with Stan and his pal :) I have my own 7 year old golden retriever, Stan who is very chilled and gets on with all dogs and humans! We have a spacious home with a fenced garden. There are lots of lovely walks on our doorstep and we like to go to the beach for a swim or paddle too! Stan is my third child! I have two grown up kids at uni. Freddie, 22 and Poppy 20. I will look after your dog as if he were part of our family.

About: I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from Jack Russell's to border Collies. In recent years I've looked after dogs for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, dogs with arthritis (requiring pushing in a pram), dogs on restricted diets, administering medication and of course lots of cuddles and walks if welcomed! I work from home full time so my schedule is completely free and flexible for regular walks and toilets breaks. It's unlikely your pet will be left on their own. I live with my parents who are also dog friendly, they aren't home during the day but are around in the evening, so plenty of company if your pet wants it! Equally, the house is big enough that they can have some alone time if thats their preference. I have a medium sized enclosed and secure garden. In the summer the door can be left open for pets to come and go as they please. For boarding requests, I live with my own dog (Otis) who is a 10-year old French basset cross. He's friendly (if uninterested) in other dogs. We can introduce your pet to Otis at the meet and greet and ensure they get on. Otis is used to having other dogs stay and is very chill. He is neutered.

Our shift work gives us a flexible routine that works really well with pet care. As we both work in the emergency services, we have different shift patterns, meaning there is usually someone at home and we can plan our time around the needs of each pet. We love being outdoors and regularly enjoy going on walks and runs around the local countryside, so having a dog to join us makes it even better. We have plenty of lovely walking routes around Ardleigh and enjoy giving pets the exercise, attention and companionship they need. We also don't have any children or pets so our lifestyle is very flexible. We know that every pet is different, and nobody knows them better than their owner. Before looking after your pet, we’ll always take the time to learn about their routine, personality and what makes them feel happy and safe. We’ll follow your guidance so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. We have a secure, sizeable garden where they can enjoy some fresh air, play and explore safely. Our home is set back from the road, giving pets a quieter and safer environment, and we also have security cameras around the property for extra peace of mind. We’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, cuddles, exercise and downtime depending on what they’re used to. We understand that some pets need lots of interaction, while others prefer a little more space and a calm routine. When caring for pets in their own home, we know that staying in a familiar place can often be less stressful. We’ll keep to their normal routine, spend quality time with them and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Most importantly, we want your pet to feel happy and relaxed, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re being looked after by people who genuinely love animals.
About: I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals! I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs. My work is very flexible and I work from home most of the time - if I do need to go out I often take the dog/s staying with me along, so they can enjoy a walk somewhere new at the same time🙂 My approach to looking after your pets? With love! Having had my own dogs since I was a child and more recently lost my elderly Mastiff cross Bordeaux, I know what it’s like as an owner to leave your pet with someone else. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with many cats, and since I was little I’ve helped look after them, including taking in stray cats during my childhood. We also always had family dogs, and I loved spending time with them, playing, and taking them out for walks. In total, my whole family 5 dogs overall, so I’m very comfortable being around different breeds and personalities. I also have personal experience caring for a small tortoise named Frankie, so I’m used to looking after pets with different needs and routines. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, care, and companionship. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. I’m available for dog walks, home visits, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can be flexible to suit your pet’s routine. I’m happy to help with whatever is needed to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I live in a small two-bedroom house, and although I don’t have a garden, there is a small nature reserve area just behind my home that’s perfect for dog walks. There’s also a bigger park about a 5 to 10 minute walk away, so there’s plenty of outdoor space and nature nearby for exercise and fresh air. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, safe environment.

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals as I’ve grown up, unfortunately living in a flat and working full time I have not been able to have one of my own. However, I have looked after my friends pets and also used Borrow my Doggy so I could walk a dog and take care of one. I took particular care of one dog I bonded with for a couple of years and took him in for the day and would go walks and check in on him whilst his owner was at work. I have had a cat with a disability for 10 years however she has mainly stayed at my mother’s address whilst I moved for work and university. I have made sure when I look after medication needs, special diet and also check on her special care needs daily when I am back with her. I have also had to manage medical emergencies for her with taking her urgently to the vets multiple times. I currently take care of my housemates cat as well as also taking care of cats from a client I met on here for over a year with continued rebooks. I have a long term partner whom is fully vetted from his work and he helps support if required around my shift work to provide extra care for your little one. I am friendly and love to be around animals. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me! I currently work full time on a shift schedule, so I don’t always have the same days off working 6 days mornings or evenings on (about 8 hours) and 3 days off. I works shifts so the timing will vary when I work. My office is based in Chelmsford and I will be unable to leave during my shifts but I can do before and after work if needed. My partner is able to assist in between visits is required. I am happy to work around this if possible for you to ensure the best care for your little one! Message me for information about this! I will ensure that I maintain the routine you have set in your home for your little one and that their routine isn’t disturbed to ensure healthy habits! I will have the most respect in your home and if you have any requests such as plant watering etc. let me know too! I will ensure that your home is kept clean and tidy!
About: I've always had dogs or cats throughout my life and I currently am a cat mum. I thoroughly love animals and care for them a huge amount. I am currently working hybrid and have a flexible schedule, so happy to workout timings with you when a care is needed for your pet/s I can not have animals in my home as I have a cat and I don't think she would like any visitors unfortunately and it wouldn't be fair on her. For any bookings I would speak to the customer about any possible safety issues they know of in advance from their side.

About: Me and my partner have had dogs all our lives. We have had two dobermans and one rescue beagle cross. We still have one Doberman and the beagle within our family. We have two children age 5 and 7 who have been brought up with our dogs and our very dog savvy. We are experienced with big breeds and also small. Our dogs are treated like family, two walks a day we live in the country so field walks mainly, they are allowed in the house and on the sofa and if they can sneak on the bed they will try haha! There is always someone at home generally as I work from home part time so never left long period of time. Both our dogs love other dogs they have always been well socialised. I work two days from home and the other days I am around at home and you dogs will never be left for long periods of time. I have a large fenced garden which is secure. The fence is 1m high as we back onto fields and is gated at the side.
About: I am friendly, calm and patient with dogs and understand they all have different personalities. I am genuinely dog obsessed and can offer lots of one to one attention. I am currently working part time so can offer your dog plenty of love, cuddles, walks and play time tailored to your dogs specific needs. Dog are family in my house and they are allowed to sit on the sofa for cuddles and are kept safe while playing in the garden by secure fencing.
