“Jenny is a lovely, warm person and her Pug, Honey, is an adorable dog. Together, they made a perfect team to look after our Lhasapoo, Lola. We received photos and updates on Lola during her stay and she clearly had a fun time and was well looked after. There was a secure, enclosed garden for her to play in with Honey. Jenny obviously has a lot of experience looking after dogs and we felt completely confident leaving Lola to her care. We have no hesitation in recommending Jenny to anyone who wants the best of care for their dog and we will be making another booking in the future. Thank you, Jenny and Honey, :)”

“After meeting Emma for our meet & greet, we knew that this was going to be completely the best option for our Golden Retreiver. We were provided with daily updates of photo's and videos and you could see that he was very happy to be there. I can't thank her enough and we will certainly be back again.”

About: Thank you for taking a look at my profile. My love for cats all started at a very young age when we got my first cat at age 7. I was totally besotted with him and that kickstarted a lifelong interest/obsession with cats! I now have a cat of my own (after many years without pets) and have been looking after her for the past two years.

“Faith was a great cat sitter for our two girls. She kept us updated and showed them both a lot of love and care whilst we were away. A very safe and reliable person and we would have Faith back again. Thank you Faith! ”

“Friendly, reliable and very patient with our shy cat. We felt like we could relax and enjoy our trip knowing our cat was in safe hands! Great communication too, we enjoyed the little daily updates. Thanks very much Hannah, we will be in touch for future cat sitting!”

About: I enjoy spending time with cats and am comfortable helping with feeding, playtime, cleaning litter trays, and giving attention and care. I am responsible, patient, and willing to follow instructions carefully to make sure pets feel safe and comfortable.

About: Cats have always been a big part of our lives. We both grew up with cats from a young age and understand how much they become part of the family. We recently lost our rescue cat, who we adopted as a senior. She required daily medication and extra care, giving us valuable experience looking after older cats and understanding their individual needs and routines. We have also provided cat sitting both in our own home and in other people's homes, making sure cats feel comfortable, relaxed and cared for while their owners are away. We know that cats can be creatures of habit, so we always take the time to follow their usual routines and give them the attention and affection they need.

“Anita was great! She looked after Lexi our cat whilst we were away on a trip and communicated really well with us and made sure Lexi was happy at home given the crazy heatwave we were experiencing during the time. Would happily book Anita again for pet care.”

“Charlotte was brilliant and so wonderful with Rusty, it was the first time we have left him and had someone come in to see him and let him out. Even though he was a little nervous Charlotte communicated with me straight away and encouraged him gently out into the garden for a wee and a play. Charlotte communicated with me the whole time she was with Rusty and really reassured me that he was okay! Thank you for being so lovely and brilliant with Rusty”

“Holly was friendly and reliable. My cats are nervous but she spent some time with them to try to relax them, and sent me pictures when they left their hiding place. It helped them, and me relax. Will definitely rebook for future trips away. ”

“Charlotte dropped everything to walk Savannah when our regular sitter couldn't help. I will be forever grateful to her for her support, as I was able to go out and enjoy my birthday. Thank you, Charlotte :)”

About: Hi I am Steph! I have always loved animals, from caring for families pets to neighbours pets and even my own when we had them. I have looked after Dogs (from Yorkies to bigger breads Boxers), drop in feeds and toilet breaks for my neighbours cats and even down to Tortoises!. I decided after looking after many animals that I should make something I enjoy into a Job! In my main job I work from home permanently so please be assured your pets will be provided with full love, attention, playtime, walks, feeding and medication if you require and they will be taken care of and looked after to the highest standard. I am also trained in pet first aid and cpr. I currently work from home full time so pet care fits perfectly as I am always at home so your pets will be provided with the best care. I have a large fenced garden for your pets to explore if the walkies are not enough for them and they wish for more playtime or toilet times. The house is large enough to accommodate your pets and I have enough space if they are required to be in a crate. The only off limits is no pets on the sofa and no pets on the beds so they will need their own bed. Other than this the house and garden is free for your animals to roam and explore (with me being there so they are looked after). Please note I will not provide off the lead walks while dogs are in my care for protection of your animal and for myself. If your animals are not used to being on a lead then you will have to pay a fee higher for dog paddocks for their walks each day. You are free to book these paddocks yourself and send me the booking confirmations or I can book them for you and provide you with the receipt for costs. (Usually £15 max per hour).

“Alice really helped me out with a last minute booking. She did overnight stays for me as my boy Greyson isn't used to being on his own a lot and I did come back to a happy cat :) She kept me up to date and reassured me while I was away and sent lots of photos and videos of Greyson. I would definitely recommend Alice :) ”

I currently volunteer at the Blue Cross and I’ve previously run a kennels & cattery so am confident with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and breeds. I’ve also worked for 2 zoos - one a mobile zoo with smaller animals such as reptiles and meerkats and the other a large zoo with everything from penguins to zebras so I’m used to a whole host of animal traits and characters, as well as meeting their needs. My work is very flexible and I work from home most of the time - if I do need to go out I often take the dog/s staying with me along, so they can enjoy a walk somewhere new at the same time🙂 My approach to looking after your pets? With love! Having had my own dogs since I was a child and more recently lost my elderly Mastiff cross Bordeaux, I know what it’s like as an owner to leave your pet with someone else. I therefore aim to make both you and your pet as comfortable as can be while you’re away and am very flexible to meets yours and their needs.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with many cats, and since I was little I’ve helped look after them, including taking in stray cats during my childhood. We also always had family dogs, and I loved spending time with them, playing, and taking them out for walks. In total, my whole family 5 dogs overall, so I’m very comfortable being around different breeds and personalities. I also have personal experience caring for a small tortoise named Frankie, so I’m used to looking after pets with different needs and routines. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, care, and companionship. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. I’m available for dog walks, home visits, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can be flexible to suit your pet’s routine. I’m happy to help with whatever is needed to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I live in a small two-bedroom house, and although I don’t have a garden, there is a small nature reserve area just behind my home that’s perfect for dog walks. There’s also a bigger park about a 5 to 10 minute walk away, so there’s plenty of outdoor space and nature nearby for exercise and fresh air. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, safe environment.
About: My aim is to make sure your dog is happy, loved, entertained, walked and fed in the same way as if they were at home. I work from home so am here all day to look after your dog as I do my own gorgeous golden retriever, Stan. I wake up early (06:30) to say hi, provide breakfast, and let Stan and your lovely dog out in our safe garden followed by a cuddle. Then we’re out for a walk in the lovely open spaces on our doorstep. If it’s the weekend - and your dog is keen - we’ll go to the beach for a swim or paddle! Otherwise happy to stick to our lovely countryside walks :) Chill time then playtime in the garden followed by another walk later. Then dinner and an evening play and chill whilst we cook dinner and relax at home with Stan and his pal :) I have my own 7 year old golden retriever, Stan who is very chilled and gets on with all dogs and humans! We have a spacious home with a fenced garden. There are lots of lovely walks on our doorstep and we like to go to the beach for a swim or paddle too! Stan is my third child! I have two grown up kids at uni. Freddie, 22 and Poppy 20. I will look after your dog as if he were part of our family.
About: My very first job was a dog walker for family and friends dogs. Family and friends have continued to rely on me over the years to walk, feed, bathe and board their pets while away for short or long periods of time. I have cared for dogs of larger and smaller breeds. I am self employed and very flexible with working hours. My work space/office has a large garden surrounding it which would be ideal for toilet breaks, walks and play throughout the day. Your dog would be walked twice a day during the week. During the day, I will be at my office space which is situated in a large garden and surrounded by countryside with many dog walking routes. By night dogs will get a walk around our local area or country park. At weekends Josh and I like to spend time outdoors on walks, hikes and exploring national trust grounds which are dog friendly. We have a fenced garden for toilet breaks and will ensure any dog gets to stretch its legs throughout the day. Dogs will be crated if necessary and we do have a large crate which can be used up to medium sized dogs. Dogs will sleep downstairs but will be allowed upstairs during the day.
About: I have grew up with a Labrador who I was mainly taking care of by myself. In recent years I have been helping my friends and family with looking after their pups. I am living in a flat with no garden, however only 2 mins walk from a big park. My home is pet friendly as I do often look after dogs of my friends and family.

About: As a proud dog mom to a sweet Golden Retriever girl and a lovable Pug boy, caring for dogs is part of my everyday life. I understand firsthand how important it is to find someone you fully trust with your pets because I’d want the same for mine! Living with both a large, active breed and a smaller, personality-filled breed has given me experience with different energy levels, temperaments, and care needs. Whether it’s long walks and playtime for high-energy pups or extra attention and gentle care for smaller or more sensitive dogs, I adapt to what each pet needs to feel safe and happy. Pet care fits easily into our routine because one of us is always home. This allows for consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, scheduled feedings, walks, and plenty of playtime and attention. Your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will always have loving company throughout the day. Safety and comfort are our top priorities. Our home is clean, calm, and dog-friendly, with a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor play and fresh air. We carefully follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, exercise, medication, and routines. With experience caring for both large and small breeds, we understand different energy levels and personalities and make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and at home.
“I left my anxious senior chihuahua with Amadeusz yesterday as a practice run for a longer stay - he was very understanding of her stress and was able to make friends with her and get her to settle in. He checked in throughout the day to let me know how she was doing & even sent a few pictures. I will book with him again!”

About: Hi, I'm Charlotte! I've grown up with dogs, cats and other small animals, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. I genuinely love spending time with animals and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. Alongside regularly walking dogs, my partner Joe and I also look after family and friends' pets whenever they need us to. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit or overnight care, we treat every pet as if they were our own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. We both work in the emergency services, so being reliable, trustworthy and dependable is second nature to us. We work around our shift patterns, which gives us flexibility to offer care throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings and weekends. We're based in Ardleigh, where we're lucky to have plenty of lovely countryside footpaths and quiet walking routes right on our doorstep. Whether your dog enjoys a gentle stroll or a longer adventure, we'll make sure they get the exercise, attention and care they deserve. We know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust, and we'd love the opportunity to get to know both you and your furry friend. Our shift work gives us a flexible routine that works really well with pet care. As we both work in the emergency services, we have different shift patterns, meaning there is usually someone at home and we can plan our time around the needs of each pet. We love being outdoors and regularly enjoy going on walks and runs around the local countryside, so having a dog to join us makes it even better. We have plenty of lovely walking routes around Ardleigh and enjoy giving pets the exercise, attention and companionship they need. We also don't have any children or pets so our lifestyle is very flexible. We know that every pet is different, and nobody knows them better than their owner. Before looking after your pet, we’ll always take the time to learn about their routine, personality and what makes them feel happy and safe. We’ll follow your guidance so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. We have a secure, sizeable garden where they can enjoy some fresh air, play and explore safely. Our home is set back from the road, giving pets a quieter and safer environment, and we also have security cameras around the property for extra peace of mind. We’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, cuddles, exercise and downtime depending on what they’re used to. We understand that some pets need lots of interaction, while others prefer a little more space and a calm routine. When caring for pets in their own home, we know that staying in a familiar place can often be less stressful. We’ll keep to their normal routine, spend quality time with them and make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Most importantly, we want your pet to feel happy and relaxed, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re being looked after by people who genuinely love animals.
“Hannah is definitely 5 stars! I am so happy I found her on this site. I have a huge 60kg Cane Corso called Kodak, so he is very strong and powerful (sorry Hannah lol). Nonetheless, Hannah is not phased by his weight and size and I feel very confident in Hannah’s ability to look after my boy. Hannah is sensible and makes the right choices for Kodak - for example, I live quite rural and my dog walks are on farms, Hannah uses her judgement on whether to let my boy off the lead or not and makes the correct choice dependent on whether there are other dog walkers and dogs (Kodak does not like other dogs at times). Hannah is always on time (earlier to have a chat with me about Kodak) and on their half an hour walk today, Hannah gave him an extra 10 minutes! Very grateful for that, thank you Hannah! Kodak took to Hannah straight away, wanting strokes from her and pressing up against her. He likes Hannah which gives me great peace of mind. I am definitely using Hannah again! Thanks so much Hannah. Love Ashleigh and Kodak. X”

“Charlotte was brilliant with Rusty again, great communication and fab pictures! He always looks like he’s having a great time and Charlotte keeps me up to date and reassured that he is okay whenever she is with him. Thank you!”

“Ebony was amazing with Huxley & was very attentive to his needs as a big 6 months old puppy. We would highly recommend and use her again in the future. Thank you for looking after our big boy!”

I am confident with daily walks, feeding schedules, following care instructions and making sure pets are safe, happy and always looked after whilst in my care. I am reliable, trustworthy and caring and will treat dogs as if they are my own. From Mondays to Fridays I currently volunteer for the Essex Wildlife Trust so I am flexible and free to dog walk and house sit your pets including at weekends. I train and play football for a local club but am happy to accommodate looking after your much loved pet around these commitments. From the beginning I will want to get to know your pet so I will spend time bonding with them, playing, talking and keeping them company. I know that pets like consistency so I will stay close to their normal routine which I will ensure I fully understand by asking for clear instructions from you. This includes knowing feeding times, portion sizes and any dietary needs and health requirements, where and when they are walked and their comfort toys and sleeping habits. I will add details of your vet to my pet plan should a medical emergency arise. If your pet uses your garden I will check that the gate is closed and the fences are secure before letting them out and I will then supervise and clean up their mess. I will send you regular updates and photos and of course report anything of concern immediately. I appreciate that it's not only your pet that I am responsible for but also your home which I will do my best to keep clean and tidy and follow any house rules that you give me.

About: After 21 years working for His Majesty's Prison and Probation service, I finally decided to follow my passion to care for dogs. Since I was 8 years old, I have loved and taken care of my own dogs and those that belong to friends and family. I know how much dogs mean to their families but know that circumstances often mean owners need support to walk or visit their four legged family members. I am qualified in Canine First Aid, it is vital to keep your pets safe and happy in my care. Pet care is my only job so I have plenty of time to visit your dogs (to play, feed, toilet break, cuddle them) or to walk them (ensuring the walk is tailored to their needs). When dogs are in my care I will ensure they are always safe whether it be on a leaded walk or in your home. I also offer supervised off-lead play in my secure garden if this is required for your dog.

About: I've always had dogs or cats throughout my life and I currently am a cat mum. I thoroughly love animals and care for them a huge amount. I am currently working full time from home. But I have a flexible schedule, so happy to workout timings with you when a care is needed. I can not have animals in my home as I have a cat and I don't think she would like any visitors unfortunately and it wouldn't be fair on her.

About: I have experience in both dog/house sitting and working in a busy dog kennel, giving me confidence caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I’m especially experienced with senior dogs and those needing extra support, including administering multiple daily medications and maintaining consistent routines. I take pride in being a calm, loving, and reliable companion, always ensuring every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while I’m looking after your dogs! I’m currently working part-time, and I’m also a professional basketball player — it’s off-season at the moment, so I have extra flexibility in my schedule. I’ll be starting my Master’s degree next year, so I’m working in the meantime and doing something I genuinely enjoy. I am very flexible, especially through the summer months. I care for pets as if they’re my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. At home, I regularly care for my two dogs and also help look after my sister’s dog, so I’m very used to daily routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and giving lots of attention and companionship. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I stick closely to their usual schedule to keep everything familiar and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on time, walked/exercised as needed, given plenty of affection, and kept entertained. I’m also happy to keep the home tidy, follow any specific instructions, and provide regular updates/photos for peace of mind.

About: I’ve absolutely loved dogs since I was a child. Growing up I owned a gorgeous Bichon Frise and in my early twenties I looked after my friend’s golden Labrador. He would stay with me during the week whilst I worked from home for multiple months. I now look after a lively cocker spaniel! I’ve had experience with dogs of different temperaments. I will absolutely love spending time with your dogs and I don’t charge extra for all the extra cuddles!! I’m currently having a career break so I am available most days except for Fridays. I am really flexible and can accommodate your specific needs. I am a very reliable and diligent person and will make every effort to ensure your dog feels safe with me. Being around dogs often I am able to read their body language and notice signs when they are uncomfortable and need space. I will also of course respect your home during any visits/ house sits.
“John is a very friendly and helpful person. Saffy likes him and he is highly reliable. I wouldn't hesitate to use John's dog walking services again and I've already booked him for next month!”

About: I’m a fun, caring animal lover who just wants the best for all animals!

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals as I’ve grown up, unfortunately living in a flat and working full time I have not been able to have one of my own. However, I have looked after my friends pets and also used Borrow my Doggy so I could walk a dog and take care of one. I took particular care of one dog I bonded with for a couple of years and took him in for the day and would go walks and check in on him whilst his owner was at work. I have had a cat with a disability for 10 years however she has mainly stayed at my mother’s address whilst I moved for work and university. I have made sure when I look after medication needs, special diet and also check on her special care needs daily when I am back with her. I have also had to manage medical emergencies for her with taking her urgently to the vets multiple times. I currently take care of my housemates cat as well as also taking care of cats from a client I met on here for over a year with continued rebooks. I have a long term partner whom is fully vetted from his work and he helps support if required around my shift work to provide extra care for your little one. I am friendly and love to be around animals. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me! I currently work full time on a shift schedule, so I don’t always have the same days off working 6 days mornings or evenings on (about 8 hours) and 3 days off. I works shifts so the timing will vary when I work. My office is based in Chelmsford and I will be unable to leave during my shifts but I can do before and after work if needed. My partner is able to assist in between visits is required. I am happy to work around this if possible for you to ensure the best care for your little one! Message me for information about this! I will ensure that I maintain the routine you have set in your home for your little one and that their routine isn’t disturbed to ensure healthy habits! I will have the most respect in your home and if you have any requests such as plant watering etc. let me know too! I will ensure that your home is kept clean and tidy!

Our cat seemed very comfortable and at ease there even from the first few days, and she sent us photos and updates all the time so we were never worried, It was the first time that we were leaving our cat with a carer so we were quite anxious, but Patricia really gave us peace of mind, We strongly recommend her!”

“Will and his wife were very friendly and welcoming on arrival to drop off Tony. They did everything we asked of them whilst he was in their care. They coped well with him being unsettled in a new place on the first night and it sounds like he settled right in after that. We will use them again when in the area!”

“Harriette was really responsive and flexible when it came to looking after Chewie. She had plenty of space and a secure outside section for medium size dogs. Her location is in great proximity to local parks as well which was great. We recieved plenty of updates during chewie's short stay which made us feel even more comfortable. We would definately leave Chewie with Harriette again. Thanks you!”
