“Annabel was very friendly from the start. Straight away I felt comfortable when we first met on our get together prior to our booking. Whilst looking after our girls, Annabel sent numerous photos whilst out and about and at home. I would thoroughly recommend Annabel and will definitely book her again to look after my girls”

“Robert is absolutely brilliant. He is so kind and caring and really knows so much about dogs and the care they need. Our little dog was so happy with him for a few days and he sent us lots of photos and videos so we didn’t need to worry. 5 star care. We will be re-booking soon! Thanks again Robert,”

“It was my first time using Cathy and her adorable golden retriever Stan. We initially met to see if Lana was comfortable there. When we returned for Lana to stay, she happily walked into Cathy’s driveway. Cathy sent me pupdates while Lana was with her. At no time was I concerned about Lana. In fact, my plans changed and Cathy kindly extended Lana’s stay for me at short notice which was so very kind and helpful of her. When I picked Lana up, although she was happy to see me, she was in no rush to leave. Lana, and in fact, myself, were treated like a member of the family. I know for a fact that Lana was not distressed as she licks her paw raw when distressed. Lana was with Cathy for nearly 24 hours and her paw was perfect. I will definitely be using Cathy (and Stan) again. X”

“Claire was able to provide excellent care for our spaniel who is 12. We were reassured that he was being well cared for and we were updated on him each day. He enjoyed ot so much he did not want to come home! Thanks Claire!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I grew up with many cats, and since I was little I’ve helped look after them, including taking in stray cats during my childhood. We also always had family dogs, and I loved spending time with them, playing, and taking them out for walks. In total, my whole family 5 dogs overall, so I’m very comfortable being around different breeds and personalities. I also have personal experience caring for a small tortoise named Frankie, so I’m used to looking after pets with different needs and routines. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy giving them attention, care, and companionship. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention they need. I’m available for dog walks, home visits, boarding, and overnight stays, and I can be flexible to suit your pet’s routine. I’m happy to help with whatever is needed to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. I live in a small two-bedroom house, and although I don’t have a garden, there is a small nature reserve area just behind my home that’s perfect for dog walks. There’s also a bigger park about a 5 to 10 minute walk away, so there’s plenty of outdoor space and nature nearby for exercise and fresh air. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for in a calm, safe environment.
“Amadeusz watched our senior chihuahua for a bit over a week - I was nervous going into it because Ellie can be a bit wary of new people, but she settled right in with Amadeusz! We received regular updates on how she was doing, along with photos - it provided peace of mind that she was well taken care of in our absence. When our return was delayed due to problems with the flight, Amadeusz was very flexible and told us not to worry. We will definitely book again next time we need care for Ellie. Thank you!”

“Patricia took such good care of my dog, Lila. She stayed with her for two nights and everything went really well. Patricia was so kind and attentive, and she kept me updated with photos and videos, which gave me a lot of peace of mind Thank you Patricia :)”

About: I am totally obsessed with my dog, he is my child. I've raised him from a pup, and he's now 2. We have done countless training together - gundog, tricks, cooperative care, and scent detection. Loki is the sweetest little polar bear - I'm used to a dog that likes getting wet and muddy, so that's never a problem. He's well socialised and is a crowd pleaser at his daycare (he goes once a week for a bit of enrichment). Your animals will be in very safe hands - I'll treat them as my own. I also have a crate and play pen Loki doesn't use anymore, so just let me know if this is required for night time. I wake up with Loki between 7-8am. He gets his breakfast kibble either scattered around the garden or in a Kong to start the day off with a bit of excitement. I login for work at 9am, and Loki has free run of the house and garden. Around 12-1 we either jump in the car and head over to somewhere like Donyland Woods, the Wick, Layer, Rowhedge Woods etc, or we'll walk over to our local park. Loki then has his midday snack, or treats on the walk. 5.00 I give Loki his dinner. Around 5.30 (or later if it's too sunny), we head out for our second walk after work, which is a longer one. Then we usually chill, or play some tug of war or other games if he's still energetic. Go to bed around 10ish, and Loki shares the bed with me. I have a fairly big fenced garden. Loki is a 2 year old Goldador and is a very sweet, submissive boy.
“Rolo had an absolutely wonderful stay with Bianca! Her and her wonderful Dusty made perfect company and I was sent so many cute photos and videos of their adventures throughout his stay. Thank you again Bianca - we are so grateful for you!”

“Karen was amazing and provided a wonderful holiday for our dog! We arranged a meet up prior to booking and Rocket instantly took a liking to their home. Karen was thorough in her questions even providing a questionnaire to ensure Rocket had a comfortable stay. We received regular photos and updates and they even took him for some swim time in Mersea! It was such a relief to know he was having a great time while we were away. We would absolutely recommend and thanks again!!”

About: I had two dogs for 16 years who were so loved and cared for. Unfortunately they have both passed away now so I have a dog shaped hole in my heart. I am one of those people who sees a dog and just smiles. If I look after your doggy I can promise you I will care for them as if they were my own. They will be very welcome to share the sofa and there will be lots of tickling of the tummy! I love going out for walks with dogs and just really treating them like part of the family I have just retired from work so I have plenty of time. I do go out and about though so won’t necessarily be at home for the entire day. I have a fenced garden with grass. I live next to a large field where many people walk their dogs. My house does not have a road outside so it is very secure.

About: I give every dog genuine care and attention as if they were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and focused on creating a safe and loving environment for pets of all ages and personalities. I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies who need consistency, playtime, and basic training reinforcement, as well as senior dogs who may require extra patience, gentle walks, medication reminders, or special attention to their comfort and routines. I also pay close attention to each dog’s behavior, mood, and needs so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. I work from home most of the time, which means I have plenty of time to give dogs the attention, care, and companionship they need throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, and lots of affection without pets being left alone for long periods. I live in a spacious modern first-floor flat in a quiet residential area, which gives dogs a peaceful space to rest and settle in comfortably. Abbey Fields is right on my doorstep, providing plenty of open space for regular walks, exercise, playtime, and fresh air.
“All through out Roxy's stay by Evelina we were sent photos and updates on a regular basis and for that we are very grateful. Upon picking up Roxy it is very good to know she was a pleasure to look after and she made friends with Evelina and Hacker. Thanks again for looking after Roxy.”

About: I just moved out of my mums house where I had a cat and a dog so am used to having animals in the house. Throughout my teens I did dog sitting for a family who had 5 dogs, all different sizes, and 3 cats. I would be in charge of feeding, letting them out, and playing with them/keeping them entertaining whilst the owners were on holidays. I work a full-time Monday-Friday, working from home on Tuesdays and Fridays so available throughout the entire day then. I would be available weekday evenings for boarding, but would prefer to board on weekends when I have free other commitments. I have a cat of my own who is very friendly and loves company. I am also on a second floor flat so no private garden, but I do have access to outdoor spaces. When I’m looking after your pet I will make sure to follow any schedule set so they can feel as comfortable as possible and stick to a routine they may be used to. I am also gentle with animals and not impatient.

My approach is patient and safety-led, helping pets feel settled and cared for in familiar surroundings. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and pet first aid trained, and I’m always happy to arrange a meet & greet before booking. Pet care is my full-time daily routine. I run my licensed dog day care and walking service from our private countryside home, so my days are fully structured around the dogs in my care. Each day includes countryside walks, enrichment, play and calm rest periods, with dogs enjoying a consistent and supervised environment throughout the day. I keep numbers small to ensure every dog receives individual attention, companionship and a relaxed home-from-home experience. Dogs cared for in my home enjoy a calm, structured and fully supervised environment. I care for a small number of compatible dogs at a time to ensure a safe and relaxed experience for everyone. Dogs have access to a secure outdoor area for toileting and fresh air, with walks and exercise provided throughout the day. About: Hi! I’m Val, a lifelong cat lover with 15+ years of experience caring for felines of all temperaments and needs. Whether your cat is a social butterfly or a shy 'under-the-bed' explorer, I prioritise their comfort and routine. I have two amazing cats of my own, a Persian boy and a Scottish Fold girl who are my beloved babies and are treated like Royalty in our house. I grew up with cats and as soon as I was ready to have my own furry friend as an adult, my husband and I rescued our first boy tabby cat called Flash who had FIV. Flash lived a happy life with us for five years. I cannot imagine my life now without a little purr and a meow. I find cats incredibly therapeutic, calming and funny. I can never walk past a cat without trying to make a contact🙈💞 Thank you for reading and I hope to meet you and your fur family member soon😻

“Jane was absolutely fantastic with our dogs. She is a very kind and caring person, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals. Our dogs stayed with her for two days, and the best proof of how happy they were is that on the second day they were excited to go back to her again. They looked relaxed, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay. I would highly recommend Jane to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. The happiness and excitement of our dogs says it all. Thank you, Jane!”

“Bella had the best time with Annabel and her gorgeous daxies... the pics were incredible and she clearly was very happy there. Looking forward to her next visit already. Thank you so much for minding our girl so well.”

“Left our 1 year old dog with Hannah for a trial day before some overnight stays. Mabel was happy being left with Hannah, and she took time to listen to what Mabel liked to do. Mabel was calm at the end of the day once we’d got her home, and no obvious stress after a day without her normal surroundings. Reassuring to see photos of Mabel chilling out during the day and that she’s ok without us!”

“Minnie had a lovely stay with Claire, Ash & Annie. Thankyou so much for taking such good care of her, I was totally reassured and relaxed having full confidence in your capabilities and natural affinity with dogs. Minnie was at ease straight away and I’m sure she’d love to return to see Annie again in the future. One happy tired dog now resting peacefully.”

Jen was able to accommodate my last minute request and completely put me at ease when organising the booking with her fantastic communication. “Elena is just fantastic! She’s been taking my dog Callie for a walk once a week for a couple months now. Callie is usually very nervous with new people and even more so when I’m not there but she was very confident with Elena on our meet and greet and I can see she’s very happy on her walks with Elena. They go on some great adventures every lunch, Elena shares lots of fab photos and it’s fantastic knowing my pooch and key are in safe hands. Thank you Elena! We are very glad to have found you ☺️”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 15 and have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments. I can train dogs at any age using positive reinforcement and consistent routines, and I’m the proud owner of a very well-trained corgi. I also practice dog photography and love providing lots of beautiful photos so you can see your pup happy and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work late hours, which means I’m free every morning for walks, drop-ins, training, and quality time with pets. I’m also fully available on weekends and bank holidays, making me flexible and dependable for both regular and last-minute care. I care for pets as if they were my own, always prioritizing their routine, comfort, and safety. I prefer taking pets on long walks so they can enjoy quality time outdoors, get proper exercise, and mental stimulation rather than staying indoors all day. That said, I always follow the owner’s preferences and the pet’s individual needs.

“As ever, Hannah was brilliant with Kodak. She took him on a half an hour walk, which he thoroughly enjoyed! As I was home, Kodak was reluctant to leave, thinking why I’m not coming too (lol), but Hannah encouraged him and got him out on his walkies. They even walked past the house but Kodak kept going for more! Thanks Hannah. Love Kodak and Ashleigh.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs & have owned various breeds. Friends & family regularly ask me to pet sit, and I have recently fostered a dog until he was ready for re homing I am self employed & work from home. I manage my own diary so can be very flexible, I am usually available most weekends too I have no other pets / commitments, your pet will have my 100% care & attention when I am looking after them or walking them
About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs for about 12 years now, including aiding in raising and house training two puppies. I have previously walked older dogs and am in tune with the needs of animals in my care. I mainly have availability on weekends and evenings depending on my working rota. I prefer at least a few days notice, however, can accept bookings the day prior if it fits into my schedule. I have experience walking dogs on leashes with control and care. I love giving pets and cuddles to animals, I find most pets tend to warm up to me very quickly! In a pet owners home I would take care of the dog in line with your instructions, ensuring the dog is happy and content throughout.
About: I grew up on a farm looking after a mixture of working dogs and house dogs, from Collies, to King Charles Spaniels and Bernese Mountain dogs to looking after my friend’s dogs in London in recent years. I work full time (mon-fri), but usually only in the office once a week. My work life is very balanced, with protected lunch time and finishing on time so I’d have plenty of time for doggy toilet breaks and walks. I don’t have a garden as we’re in a flat but we’re right next to a nature reservoir with plenty of green space and parks nearby. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them.

About: Lifelong animal lover with experience caring for family and friends’ dogs and cats of all sizes. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, feeding, playtime, companionship, and home visits tailored to each pet’s individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is for animals to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet with the same love and attention as my own. I’m currently on a break from my studies, which means I have a flexible schedule and more time available to care for your pets. I’m organised, reliable, and happy to adapt to different pets’ routines and needs. I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their own home by following their usual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, companionship, cleaning up after them, and giving them plenty of attention and care. I understand every pet has different needs and personalities, so I always take the time to make them feel calm and comfortable while you are away.

“We cannot recommend Bob & Sue enough. They treated our dog like he was their own and we will definitely be booking them again. Our dog can be a little funny with strangers but he straightaway took to them both so we knew he would be happy there. We got a message with a photo or video each day which was lovely. And i think they have even given him a bath 😊 thank you very much Bob & Sue!”

“Keziah was great! kept me updated with photos and videos and let me know how he was and answered messages very quickly. Will definitely be happy to send my dog for a sleepover there again!”

“Amanda was highly communicative and very accommodating to meeting Miguel a few times before he went to stay. She was very understanding of his background, situation and behaviours, and took care to understand him and care for him appropriately! Would recommend to anyone looking for a responsible and diligent Dogsitter to use Amanda!”

“Michael was fantasti! He looked after our Basset Hound like she was his own. Michael sent me regular photos and videos. I will be using Michael again, whenever we need our Polly to be looked after.”

“The care service provided by Lisa was brilliant, we got lots of photos and videos throughout Oslos 2 day stay. Oslo was taken good care off and he seemed happy. Would recommend Lisa and we will be happy to use her service again to take care of Oslo.”

“Highly recommend Stephanie, she provides excellent care. Mabel had a wonderful stay and the updates given were wonderful. A lovely couple who clearly love animals. They provide a level of care and attention that is outstanding.”

“Lubomira spoilt my Maya rotten! I was showered with photos and videos the whole time I was away to keep me at ease and let me know what she was up to! Maya thoroughly enjoyed her stay. I have already rebooked!! Thank you very much for looking after my fur baby so well :)”

“I can’t thank Anne (and her husband Chris) enough for the devoted care they gave Bertie whilst I was on holiday. They looked after him so well, even administering medication where needed. I especially felt reassured by the great pictures they sent of Bertie enjoying his walks and resting afterwards! I certainly felt quite relaxed about Bertie being in a safe pair of hands. Thank you so much. Liz”

About: I'm an experienced dog owner and now really enjoy looking after dogs which I've been doing for friends and family for many years and now looking to do it more regularly. I work from home so dogs will rarely be left on their own for longer than an hour at a time. I work for myself at home so I can be very flexible to your dog's needs and will be happy to stick to your dog's routines. I have a large fenced garden laid mostly to lawn and access to lovely off road dog walks close by for as many walks as needed.

About: I provide calm, reliable pet care with a strong focus on routine, gentle handling and individual attention. I’ve owned pets all my life and trained as a groomer, giving me confidence handling both dogs and cats and an understanding of their different needs. Depending on each dog’s needs and owner preference, exercise takes place on-lead or in suitable safe locations to ensure comfort and safety at all times. Indoors, dogs have comfortable rest areas, enrichment activities and plenty of individual attention as part of a home-from-home routine. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I closely follow their established routines to maintain familiarity and minimise stress, ensuring feeding, exercise and companionship are provided exactly as requested.

“Caroline was absolutely wonderful looking after Effie! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We really appreciated her professionalism right from the start; allowing us to meet her dogs before the stay ensured everyone was comfortable, and the handover was seamless. Her communication throughout Effie's stay was excellent. Receiving regular photo updates of Effie happy and relaxed made us feel completely at ease. It’s clear she treats the dogs she cares for like her own. We highly recommend Caroline and will be booking her again in the future!”
