🌟 Licensed Boarding & Daycare
Unlike others, I am licensed with Colchester Council for boarding and daycare - this means you're insurance and my insurance remain valid whilst your dog stays here. This also means my home is inspected by the council regularly and your dogs remain as safe and as well loved as possible! I do have some forms you’ll need to complete to comply with licensing, but once they’re completed once, your dog can come back as many times as they like! Id love to have them for you 🥰🐾 A trial night for bookings 3 days or more are required. ▪️I provide a calm, safe, home-from-home environment for your dog while you’re away -whether that’s for daycare or longer stays 🤍 Dogs are given space to settle, play, and relax at their own pace in a quiet, low-pressure home. ▪️I regularly foster behavioural dogs for rehabilitation, so I’m very comfortable working with nervous, quirky, or reactive dogs and always happy to adapt to each dog’s individual needs. ▪️At home I have two friendly sporting dogs - a collie and a whippet - who are both used to having visiting dogs stay with us 🌟 To keep things calm and safe, I only take a small number of dogs at a time. ▪️Meet & greets are always welcome, you’re very welcome to come inside and let your dog have a sniff around, however initial dog introductions will take place outside first - either in the garden on lead or preferably on a walk at our local park 🐶 I’ve found this helps keep everyone calm, relaxed, and set up for the best possible stay together - don’t hesitate to let me know if a different approach would work better for your dog though. ▪️I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away 💛 📸 You can find us on instagram at freya_and_friends_dogcare

Geri had an amazing time with Briony, I received regular updates and videos/photos of Geri enjoying herself with the other dogs in the household. I could relax knowing the Briony was conscious of ensuring the dogs were all introduced appropriately, and she was so well cared for whilst she was there. Thank you for taking care of her 😊

Briony's communication was excellent from start to finish, and she kept us updated throughout the weekend with regular messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Our dog is quite nervous around new people and in unfamiliar environments, but Briony made her feel right at home. She also got on well with Briony's two dogs. It was clear she was well cared for, comfortable, and happy during her stay. We would definitely recommend Briony, thank you again!

I couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for Otto while I was away for a week. Communication was excellent, and I received daily updates, photos and videos which gave me complete peace of mind. It was lovely to see how settled, relaxed and happy Otto was in her care. Knowing he was being so well looked after meant I was able to enjoy my holiday without worrying about him. It was clear that he was treated like one of the family and I came home to a happy, content dog, and I am incredibly grateful for the care he received. I would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.

Schedule
▫️I work full time from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone 😊 We usually start the day with a walk around the local park or river, followed by a longer evening walk ☀️ ▫️If I have more than 3 dogs at a time (including my own), I’ll split walks to keep things calm and make sure everyone gets equal attention. I also occasionally book enclosed dog fields for safe off-lead/free-run time 🐶 ▫️I believe rest is just as important as exercise in a multi-dog home, so the dogs all get time to relax and properly switch off during the day. 🤍 Dogs are a huge part of my life, so your dog will be treated like part of the family while they’re here 💛

▪️I’m happy to accommodate anything you need for your pet, every foster comes with their own set of needs and accommodations so I’m used to putting different things in place, to keep them comfortable and happy 💛 ▪️My garden is fenced with a grass and patio section. We can exercise with on lead and off lead walks or enclosed fields if you’d prefer! Whatever makes your dog happy!

A typical day
▫️Depending on your pets needs, I love a slow sniffy walk along the river or the higher energy dogs can go for a big run around. ▫️We play lots in the house and I have a huge collection of lickimats and enrichment toys to entertain them too!
