“Chelsea was lovely. She was cheerful and friendly and we knew that Bluey would be well looked after and have a good time. We would definitely recommend Chelsea and would gladly have her look after Bluey in the future.”

“What a wonderful boarding experience for myself and River. I was updated daily with pictures and videos of a very happy River enjoying herself with her hosts. I cannot express how good Sarah and Christian looked after her for 2 weeks with no incident. I think River had a better holiday than we did in Cyprus! We will be referring and using Sarah again in the future.”

“When it comes to sitters Sarah is 5*. He kind and caring nature makes you feel at such ease that your pet is being taken care of! Daily updates with pictures of what they have been up too that day! We will always be asking Sarah to look after our Otis when we require!”
“Tom looked after Enola (our 18 month old flat coat retriever) and she had a great time. Tom was super flexible and kept us informed about our dog happiness with overwhelming us with information! We were able to kick back and enjoy a local festival (that did not allow dogs)!!”

“Kirsteen was amazing with Bruno. I could not recommend more highly. Her communication and updates were brilliant, she was so welcoming to us both and was so friendly throughout. Bruno can be a little anxious but I felt 100% confident leaving him with her... He immediately took to Kirsteen and she clearly has lots of experience with dogs so knew how to manage him. Really grateful and looking forward to booking again.”

“Harvey has had the most amazing time with you guys and is now a very tired boy. Thank you so much for looking after our best boy - it means so much that we know he’s being so well cared for… sorry he also pinched your bed last night! We’d love to bring H to stay again if that’s okay? 🐾🐾❤️❤️🐾🐾❤️❤️”

“Gitana & her lovely family are great dog sitters, They have lots of experience & are really good for Ernie & play with him also Gitana is good at keeping in contact & sending photos.”

“Jodie was wonderful with Lipa. She understood the potential issues with her age and kept in touch with me to reassure me. Lipa was extremely happy when we picked her up and we will definitely book Jodie again. Thank you so much!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Jill and her family took our 7 month old Lab (Toffee) into their home for 6 days. Jill provided regular updates with photographs while we were away, allowing us to enjoy our holiday in the knowledge that Toffee was in very safe and loving hands. We couldn't rate Jill highly enough.”

“Lubomira spoilt my Maya rotten! I was showered with photos and videos the whole time I was away to keep me at ease and let me know what she was up to! Maya thoroughly enjoyed her stay. I have already rebooked!! Thank you very much for looking after my fur baby so well :)”

“Jenson had his longest stay with Serena to date and we felt comfortable leaving him in her care. She updated us daily and made sure to meet all of his needs, even though he can be a bit a difficult at times! Unfortunately Jenson needed a trip to the vets during his stay, due to a grass seed in his paw, but Serena and Colin took very good care of him and had no issues taking him to his registered practice. We would 100% recommend!”

“Vanessa looked after our miniature Schnauzer Eddie for a week while we were away. It is always hard to leave your beloved dog with someone but we were very happy with her care. She clearly loves dogs, is very experienced with them and is very attentive to your individual dog's needs. Also her own two little dogs were great with Eddie. He had lots of fun. Vanessa sent us photos every day which really put our minds at rest. Very happy to recommend Vanessa.”

I’m up and out by 7ish with my Labrador, and she gets 3 good walks a day, either at the park or the beach or longer on a weekend when we can go exploring I have a fenced garden with grass and patio, my dog is very friendly and sociable so will play nicely along with others. I work from home so plenty of toilet breaks and multiple cuddles during the day
“Lipa was so well cared for. She's old and has specific issues but Laura was very understanding, caring and Lipa loved her time with Laura. Laura completely fulfills the individual dogs' needs. Would highly recommend ans will book again.”

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals - from little hamsters and bunnies to all sorts of dogs! I've got lots of experience around different sized dogs so understand their temperaments, behaviour and overall fun nature. I absolutely love dogs and taking them for woodland adventures around our home. I have a baby at home too who absolutely loves meeting new furry faces! I am relied on to look after family and friend dogs, to keep them well fed and entertained, often exhausted by the time they return home! I'm currently on maternity leave and when I return to work I will be working from home so will be highly available for both weekdays and weekends! I'm currently on maternity leave, so I have plenty of time to cater to and play with your dog! Myself and my partner take our baby out on daily walks and like to switch up the locations to give her good stimulation - these include going to fields, parks, forests and river walks - so why not have your little furry friend come along and enjoy the fun? Being on maternity leave with the ability to work from home on my return enables me to be quite available and flexible with my time. I own a 3-bedroom/3-story house with a fenced garden, so there is ample space for your little fur ball to run around and explore! Having a baby at home ensures that everything is kept clean and tidy, so your dog will have enough space for all their kit!

“Amanda was great with our two cats, Opal and Tourmaline. With one being very timid and the other very needy of attention, we were a bit worried to leave them; however, Amanda completely alleviated any stress or worry for the whole 2 weeks we were gone. Her communication was fab, and she was very observant of the girls' behaviour. Our ‘non-existent’ cat, Tourmaline, was very trusting and affectionate towards Amanda after only 3 days, so that’s a huge win for us (and shows a lot about Amanda's approach and nature). It was great to have updates and photos each day too, which really showed how well they were looked after. Will be using Amanda for cat-sitting going forward and highly recommend to anyone who is worried about leaving their fur babies.”

“Charlotte was brilliant and so wonderful with Rusty, it was the first time we have left him and had someone come in to see him and let him out. Even though he was a little nervous Charlotte communicated with me straight away and encouraged him gently out into the garden for a wee and a play. Charlotte communicated with me the whole time she was with Rusty and really reassured me that he was okay! Thank you for being so lovely and brilliant with Rusty”

“It has been a lovely experience having Allie care for our cat Lucy while we were away. She dropped in around the same time every day, providing lovely consistency for our cat. She sent a nice update with pictures included which gave us peace of mind. Allie is friendly and sweet in person, and made sure our cat got a nice fuss, groom and a cuddle on top of keeping her fed and watered. Thank you so much, Allie!”

“Lucy looked after our cat Lilith for a weekend. We were able to meet with Lucy before the sit, which was helpful and put our minds at ease. Lucy was communicative during the sit, followed the intructions accurately, sent us photo updates, and left the house in great condition for us to come back to. I was confident leaving Lilith with Lucy and would definitely recommend this sitter.”

“Sarah is wonderful. So welcoming with a genuine love for dogs. We’ve never left our dogs before and Sarah (and her home!) was everything we wished for to make us feel completely at ease. Our dogs came home so happy and tired from lots of playing with their new friend Harvey. Highly recommend.”

“Thanks so much to Christian and Sarah for taking such good care of our lovely young dog Bryn. Bryn who we have adopted recently is still quite hyper and also prone to pushing limits and it was great to know he was in safe confident hands. Will certainly hope that he can come back again soon. Thanks!”

About: I love all animals, and will treat them with the love and care I'd want for my best friend (Lottie, golden doodle/golden oldie). I grew up with dogs - mostly spaniels, and my human baby is being raised a dog (and animal) lover too! My family is me, my wife, our baby, a dog (Lottie, my bestie), and a tortoise (mushroom) 🍄 🐢 I joined Rover to support my family flexibly around childcare and other work (looking after children). We've had pets before with medical needs like an FIV+ cat, dogs that need physio etc. We've also had and looked after exotic pets like bearded dragons, leopard geckos and snakes. I love all animals, big or small - including rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish etc. I've also had a long career looking after children and vulnerable people with varying needs - so I hope this shows that I'm compassionate, caring and trustworthy. I'm looking to fill my life with things I love, like hanging out with animals, my family and candle making! For boarding, please make sure you're happy for your pet to stay with the rest of my family. For some walks I might bring my little one and/or Lottie fluff ball - but I'd check that's okay with you first 😊 Please let me know if you have any questions about me, my experience or my family. Thank you for trusting me to take care of your fur-baby (or scaley, finned or otherwise)! I've recently become a Dad to a lovely little baby who already gets so excited when he sees dogs or plays ball with them. I've also started a hand-made candle company. So, I'm quite flexible with hours as I go out with my baby and my dog at any time of day. I'm also happy to do solo walks if you prefer, just let me know! For walkies: Christchurch park is one of our favourite walks. We also love Holywells, Bourne park, the Dales, and Bramford Meadows. I can take your dog(s) in the car if you have appropriate harnesses - or we have ones you can borrow (for medium size dogs). Or we can just go for a local stroll. Let me know if you'd be happy for me to walk your dog with my dog and/or human baby - or if they'd prefer a solo walk 👣🐾 For sitting: I will always treat your home with respect, like taking my shoes off and making sure windows and doors are locked when I leave. I'll follow any and all rules of how you'd like me to look after your pet and/or home. For boarding: We have a long, good-sized garden that is fenced. Lottie has a lot of dog toys that she's happy to share. We have a tortoise, dog and human baby - so your pet will have to be comfortable with that. P.s. We make home made snacks for dogs - like dried liver. Please let me know if your dog has any dietary requirements

I spend a lot of time with the animals I care for particularly with companion dogs who are used to spending a lot of time with their owners. I love the countryside and like to take my dogs on interesting and adventurous walks suitable for their ability. I carry out extra household duties such as watering plants, putting bins out and any other specific duties my clients would like to care for their home whilst they are away. I have a background in property management and can react quickly if any unusual issues arise. I am primarily a part time book editor but I work from home so I can be flexible with my time. When I look after your home and pets, I do not walk or look after any other household. I like to spend nearly all my time with the dogs and take them out on trips with me. Pet sitting needs to be scheduled in advance. I can be available last minute for local sits and walks subject to availability. I am a loving House & Pet Sitter and care for animals in their own comfortable home environment. I prefer to meet both my clients and their pets beforehand so normally work within a reasonable driving distance, although I do have clients in London and Norfolk.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was very young and have always felt a natural connection with animals. I absolutely adore them and love spending time getting to know each dog’s unique personality. My own dog, Benji, is my pride and joy, but he lives with my parents in Suffolk - so I really miss having that daily companionship. I’d love the opportunity to look after your dog and will treat them with the same care, attention, and affection as if they were my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule as I’m in the process of looking for a new job, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your dog. I’d love to care for them during this time and will make sure they get regular walks, lots of companionship, and feel safe, happy, and secure throughout the day. I live in a flat with a lovely, spacious terrace, providing a safe and comfortable environment for your dog to relax and enjoy some fresh air. As I don’t have any other pets, your dog will receive my full, one-to-one attention and care at all times.

Having a baby at home ensures that everything is kept clean and tidy, so your dog will have enough space for all their kit!
