About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and was lucky enough to own a lovely Spaniel myself, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us. I also have spent eight years working alongside working dogs in the Civil Service, which gave me great experience around dogs with different personalities, needs, and routines. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday to Friday and have the flexibility of working from home on certain days. However, when I agree to look after your dog, I will ensure that I am not working so that I can give them the time, attention, and care they deserve. I enjoy being active and love going on long walks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, and I live just a 5-minute walk from a large open playing field, perfect for walks, exercise, and playtime. I take great pride in caring not only for dogs but also in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.

About: Hi, I’m Maria! 🐾 I am home full-time with my dog Teddy by my side. We love canine company and would be delighted to welcome your furry friend into our home. I'm available for full day care, and possibly overnight stays. Our home is calm and child-free, making it an ideal environment for dogs who need a peaceful space. Teddy is a small dog who is great with other dogs and enjoys having playmates to share his day with. We have a secure garden where they can play safely. Since I'm here around the clock, your dog will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout their stay -they'll never be left alone for long periods. I’m at home all day. My little dog is walked by 10am most mornings and then has the use of the garden for the rest of the day. In the nicer weather he may get more walks!! I have a secure garden for dogs to enjoy, including a safely fenced-off pond area so they can explore while staying protected. Safety is always my priority.

Well we had no need to worry, Salto settled incredibly quickly and had a fantastic time, he has come home super happy and relaxed, which is better than any review I can give. Just love them, they are the greatest gift for humanity I am currently working full time from home. I follow a strict daily routine of sleeping my 10 and up by 6.30 daily evening 45 minutes walk my work is very relaxed, giving me enough time to spend on taking care of your lovely pet I have a fenced garden attached to detached house with plenty of space for your dog to run around :) I also have a huge open space / field close to my house where many dog walkers use , allowing your pet for some soiree!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
