“Inga is highly recommended by us!! Herself and her family treated our dog as their own and gave her so much love and attention. We received regular updates and pictures which showed us how much our dog was enjoying herself. We would definitely use Inga as a sitter again:)”

“My pup seemed to enjoy his stay with Alix and family. Alix shared daily pictures and updates on how he was getting on at the house. He got along just fine with her dog and all is well. She sent him home with a bag of homemade treats. I would recommend Alix.”

“Philip was absolutely brilliant looking after my greyhound, Coco. She came home very calm and settled after her stay. He took her on some really nice walks and sent plenty of photo updates, which was very reassuring. Philip and his wife have a lovely home and it was clear Coco felt comfortable there. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again and would happily recommend him to others. Thank you very much!!”

“Caroline helped us last minute and our dog Leo had a fantastic stay! Caroline was very prompt with communication and made us feel very confident he was having a good time while we were away, we got pictures and videos everyday. Leo especially loved meeting and playing with Caroline’s dogs and had the best time! Thank you Caroline!”

About: I have plenty of time and love to give to your dogs. I have lots of experience with caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I am confident and comfortable with all different dog personalities. I also have experience with senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and young puppies. Just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs. I have had my own dog for the past decade, a Jack Russell who I rescued in America who has now sadly passed and now we have a lovely ex-racing greyhound. I truly understand the importance of your dogs and that dogs are a member of your family. Please read my recent reviews. Here is a link for £15 off your first Rover booking https://www.rover.com/sit/jd37374 I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention throughout the day. I absolutely love walking dogs and spending time outside and playing fetch with your dog. I have experience caring for dogs of many breeds and sizes. I live in a detached home in a quiet area with a large secure fully fenced garden (7ft fence). Your dog will have access to the garden whenever they need. There are lots of nice places to walk near my house including fields, woods and walking trails. Your dog can have the entire run of the downstairs of our home while they are here. Our dog, Coco, likes spending time with other dogs. When I’m caring for pets, their safety and comfort always come first. During walks, I make sure each dog is securely leashed with properly fitted gear, and I stick to safe, familiar routes. I pay close attention to their behaviour and surroundings to help keep them calm and happy at all times. For drop-in visits and dog sitting in your home, I follow the owner’s routine closely from feeding and playtime to any special instructions or medications. I always make sure pets feel comfortable in their own environment, keeping things tidy and ensuring they have fresh water and lots of affection before I leave. Communication and trust are key, so I keep owners updated with photos and messages after and during visits if requested. Please note for walks during hot weather, if it is too hot to safely walk your dog I will switch their walk to a drop-in visit (if required) where I take them out for a toilet break/let them out into the garden, spend time with them and ensure their water/food is topped up. That way they are still comfortable and have their basic needs met whilst you are out of the house.
“Katy responds quickly to any enquiry. She arranged to meet Coco prior to the overnight stay and was very thorough in ensuring that she knew all about Coco. After this initial meet up Coco ran enthusiastically into Katy's house to stay overnight and greeted both Katy and her partner enthusiastically. When we picked her up it was clear that Coco had had a great time. We would certainly use Katy again.”

“This was our first time using Cayman and we will definitely be using her again! She was very easy to communicate with to schedule a meet and greet and was absolutely amazing with our pups for the week she had them. Thanks again for such a great experience!”

“Fabulous. We left our little dog with Jane whilst we went away on holiday and think he had a better time than us. We felt total peace of mind having him with Jane and she even taught him some tricks and trained him alittle in the week we were away. Cant recommend highly enough. 6 stars 🌟 if possible”

“We left Blue with Carolyn for the first time this weekend, we received lots of communication, photos and videos of him which really reassured us, he was not keen to leave and tried going back in so ill take that as a sign that he enjoyed his stay! Thank you so much for taking such good care of him, we would definitely book again x”

I cant thank or praise Martin and his family enough for the love and care they give to Pippa, and the total peace if mind this gives to me. Thank you Martin we will see you again soon.”

“Jan took brilliant care of our lurcher and greyhound for a two week home board. She was professional and responsible but also very obviously has a great love for dogs. “We decided on a last minute trip out of the country. Anna worked with us every step of the way and made sure we were always in the know with our girl. She would send daily updates and photos. It was a peace of mind while we were away to know our dog was being loved and cared for by such a lovely family. Will use Anna again for boarding in the future.”

“Hayley took wonderful care of our six-month-old Irish Terrier puppy, Mavis, who is full of energy! From the moment we met her, I felt completely confident that Mavis would be in great hands — and she absolutely was. We received plenty of updates, including photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear that Mavis was thoroughly spoiled with lots of playtime, walks, and cuddles. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Hayley to anyone looking for a friendly, attentive dog sitter who keeps things personal and doesn’t take on too many dogs at once.”

“Janet had a lovely home to take care of Lobo in. She was relaxed and friendly and Lobo who can be nervous when we leave her, was happy to be there. Janet took her plenty walks and took good care of her. Would definitely use Janet again.”

St. Edmundsbury dog owners share their Rover experiences
Katie is a natural with dogs and a very experienced dog handler. As a repeat customer, I feel completely at ease that my dog is not only in good hands, but genuine caring ones. With lots of walks, cuddles and updates I feel totally reassured when I’m away. Katie is very friendly with great energy and an amazing doggie person.

Katy was very friendly when we had the meet and greet. Archie loved her house, it was very clean and well looked after. They also had a good spot for him to look out the window to people watch lol. Good sized garden for him to use and lots of places to sunbathe. She sent pictures so i knew archie was happy. He was very comfortable enough to snuggle with them as he loves napping. There are plenty of places for them to walk, even for a quick walk or longer depending on what is needed, Archie usually has short walks and sometimes we go longer and katy was able to do both. Her partner is also very friendly and was helpful to katy and they work well as a team. I would be happy to book her again.

Indie had a wonderful time with Andy and Laura. We received updates throughout the day, which was so lovely and reassuring to see how happy and settled Indie was. We would absolutely recommend Laura and Andy, and we’ll definitely be using them again. Thank you so much!

I was really sad at the thought of leaving my puppy for a weekend, and I couldn’t face the idea of putting him in a kennel. I was completely stuck because I had to be away for a wedding I was part of. Then I came across Jane’s profile which gave me the confidence to give this a try. Meeting her in person absolutely confirmed that I had made the right choice. While I was away she sent lovely updates that showed my pup was having the best time. He became best friends with her kitten Apollo, and with Juno too, and I honestly think he didn’t want to leave. He came home happy, relaxed and delightfully sleepy after a very active and stimulating stay. Jane also shared some really thoughtful feedback about him which has given me great ideas for training and adjusting the routines I have in place. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found Jane and her family. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone genuinely kind, responsible and empathetic to care for their pet. The icing on the cake was that Jane offered to drop my dog home along with his crate and bits once she realised I was travelling by taxi, which was incredibly kind. Thank you so much, Jane. Five stars from us.
