Jack was punctual, friendly, and attentive to all my recommendations. Nelson is a giant dog and can be intimidating at first, but Jack remained calm and confident throughout. He gave Nelson the reassurance he needed, and Nelson responded immediately—allowing Jack to pet him and walk with him without hesitation. I felt completely at ease leaving Nelson in his care. Highly recommended.

About: I have been dog, cat, and house sitting since childhood! I have volunteered at SPCA and have always found or adopted my pets. I grew up with a golden retriever and several cats. My schedule is very flexible right now, as I recently relocated to bury st Edmund's. Hoping to make the most of my time by helping out others and getting to spend time with their furry family. I have spent many years caring for pets of friends and family in their homes. I've always felt that it's easier to keep them in their home where they are familiar and comfortable and I am the one who is in their space. They are already missing their parents (owners) no need to add more stress.

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and understand just how important pets are as part of the family. Growing up, I had six cats and a Golden Labrador, and I now have a lovely Cocker Spaniel of my own, so I’m experienced with both cats and dogs and comfortable caring for pets of different ages and personalities. I work full-time as a Cardiac Physiologist at West Suffolk Hospital, and in my free time I enjoy taking my Cocker Spaniel on long walks, spending time in the garden, and being outdoors. I’m available for pet care in the mornings and evenings before and after work, as well as throughout the weekend. I can also offer overnight pet sitting when needed. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced pet lover to look after your furry family members, I’d be delighted to help whenever I’m available. Please feel free to send me a message — I’d love to hear from you! 🙂 I work Monday - Friday 8-17:00 at West Suffolk Hospital, so am available mornings and evenings. I also have full availability on weekends, so please message me to find out more info. 🙂 I know how important it is to have someone reliable looking after your pets, and I’ll treat your cat with the same care and attention I’d give my own. Whether your cat loves cuddles and company or prefers their space, I’m happy to adapt to their personality and routine.

About: I live and breathe pets, caring for my own dogs since I was a child, including rescues and puppies. Every pet has its own unique charms, and my extensive personal experience caring for both my own animals and others' gives me patience and understanding when getting to know them. Additionally, my part-time work is directly with pet care, giving me a wealth of professional expertise, supplemented by undertaking specialised dog first aid training. Fully DBS checked and insured. I work part time, spending the rest of my week caring for my dog and planning pet visits. Your pet's needs will always be a priority to me, and I am very comfortable being flexible around my work to meet them. Additionally, pet welfare always comes first with me, so will be available for early mornings or late nights during the summer. I will always encourage meeting your wonderful pets all together first to make sure we're a good match, with an emphasis on being bespoke and customised to your pets' needs. For dogs specifically, I can offer both 1 to 1 care or, should you prefer they spend some time socialising with others, bring along my very friendly dog Nessie. Walked dogs will always be returned washed and dried, so there'll be no nasty surprises when you get home!

Katie is lovely, I felt very at ease when I first met her and my dogs love her! Katie walks my dogs on the days no one is home. I get photos of them on their walk, an up date on what’s gone on and even an image of their walking route! I couldn’t ask for anything more. I would recommend Katie to anyone.

About: I looked after my cat and Yorkshire terrier in my home in Ukraine. I had to leave him with my family as I moved to the UK with my children. I miss him a lot and looking after other dogs would help me a lot. I am working part time in a local pub and looking after my two children, but I can be very flexible and adjust to your needs. I looked after pets for many years and I always take a great care of them, covering them in love and attention as if they are my own.

About: I’m a 33 year old female living in a flat in Bury St Edmunds. I have a marketing job with 9-5:30 flexible hours and I’m currently working from home and free on the weekends. In my spare time I love to go out on long walks & adventures and enjoy them so much better with a dog. I don’t have a dog myself but I have house sat and boarded a range of gorgeous different types of dog on this app and we had great walks together to different parks. I’d love to help people in the area with walks or boarding / looking after their dog whenever needed :). I’d be so excited to look after anyone’s animal/s in general and to help anyone out :). I’m very independent and live by myself but I am very close to my parents in south Cambridge where we all love to go on walks together too. Please message me if you would like to know anything more or require any further information :). I work from home so I am able to offer daycare during these times and I also offer boarding and house sitting. My partner Laurie also likes to help out and is usually around when I board dogs at my place. He enjoys joining us for walks and playing with the dogs. For house sitting Laurie will also join me so your pets get all the extra attention and love. We are always happy to come by for a meet up/ introduction beforehand so you get to meet us both. I have a shared garden for regular smaller walk/ toilet breaks but during your dogs stay I will also venture out for longer walks. I’ll make sure your dog gets all the exercise, love & attention they need! Please note that I do live in a flat/apartment where there are always neighbours coming/going at different times in the area. I am aware that sometimes seeing/hearing strangers can make a dog anxious/ bark a lot. Please consider this before booking :) many thanks. Pet care fits into my routine easily, as I work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give dogs the attention, walks, and care they need throughout the day. I prioritize a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment by following each pet’s routine, keeping spaces secure, and always treating them with patience and kindness. Whether in my home or the owner’s, I maintain trust by respecting their rules, providing updates, and ensuring the pets feel comfortable and cared for.

About: I have taken care of friend’s dogs for years and had the joy of getting my own last year. I’ve also tried to be helpful to local organisations when I can. I’m currently working self employed so I’m happy to discuss days. Plus free all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. Looking forward to working with owners on a schedule that works best for us both. About: I currently walk dogs regularly and also work with a local busy kennels, so I have lots of hands on experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and needs. Alongside this, I’m studying a diploma in Canine Welfare, Care and Behaviour, so I’m still building my knowledge and understanding. I’m fully insured, canine first aid trained, and committed to providing safe, calm, and attentive care for every dog in my care. I hold an advanced DBS check as I volunteer my time to Our Special Friends helping with the elderly and vulnerable to care for their dogs. I have some available slots throughout the week between the hours of 9.30 and 14.00, ideal for regular weekly bookings or one off requirements. I am flexible and will always do my best to accommodate a visit or walk for a dog. I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and their routines, and any behavioural or medical considerations before walking. Dogs are always kept on lead, and I carefully choose safe, suitable and known walking routes. I’m canine first aid trained and fully insured, and I will always keep owners updated with messages and photos for your peace of mind. As I offer solo/household walks only, your dog(s) will always receive my full attention in a safe and controlled environment only.

About: My name is Hayley, I have had dogs since I was 15. I absolutely love all dogs, although bulldogs have a very special place in my heart! We have a 5 year old resident French bulldog who is extremely sociable and absolutely adores making new friends, we take lots of very enrichment filled walks along rivers, fields and woodlands. We hire enclosed fields with swimming facilities for warmer days. We have cooling mats and paddling pools in the garden along with lots of enrichment toys and activities, our evenings are usually spent snuggled together on the sofa after a fun filled day of exploring. I work from home on a very flexible schedule so your dogs will have someone with them 24/7. We have a resident French bulldog who adores all dogs. We take daily walks through the woods and along the river, with plenty of sniffing breaks. We also visit the enclosed field regularly for a well earned strech of the legs and run for the more athletic dogs, I tailor the dogs care fully to their needs, we do a minimum of 2 walks a day ( weather dependent for certain breeds ) plus we have lots of enrichment activities at home for them to enjoy. I have a fully fenced garden, stair gates in place for your dogs safety, plenty of treats and space on the sofa! We are happy to tailor to your dogs needs with beds, sofa or crate sleeping, I have over 20 years experience with all different breeds of dogs.

Monks eleigh, IP7

About: Hi, I’m Angela, I’m 34 years old and live in Monks Eleigh. Over the last 3 years I have developed this new found love of mine into RIO’s RETREAT SUFFOLK which I run alongside Rover. If you would like details of Rio’s retreat Suffolk please let me know or check out our website. I am fully licensed & insured. I have updated my profile to enable a better insight into what I do & who I am. I have recently left the police having worked as a police officer in London. I have gone back into health care to enable a better work life balance and to do what I love… be with animals. I grew up on a small holding with a range of livestock & cattle. I was lucky enough to grow up with and around gun dogs who I just adore; the crazier the better 😂. WHY IM DOING THIS I started rover to fill a void, I left an abusive marriage which resulted in my horse & dog being given away. I missed animals & being outside so I started rover hoping to meet a few pups. I have been extremely lucky & grateful to meet some amazing families and their lovely fluffy friends. I never expected to be as busy as I have been and I couldn’t ask for kinder people to welcome me into their homes. Whilst looking after your animals I only ever have one animal boarding at a time. I also only do solo dog walks. I’m not interested in over filling my home or putting dogs at risk by walking 10 at a time just to make money. Your animal is purely my priority and has all my time and attention. I’m more than happy to take your pets out for long walks, drive to parks, vet checks ect. No preferences or needs are too big or too small, Even just throw a ball and have lots of cuddles. I had a cocker spaniel and as long as he had his ball and his mum that’s all he needed :) MY PETS I am very lucky to have the sweetest & kindest Labrador who was kindly rehomed to me through rover. She loves people & dogs more then anything but if your dog boards with us we have arrangements in place if your dog cannot be kept with other dogs. I also have rescue cats & Guinea pigs who are out the way of staying pets. SO WHY AM I DOING THIS? I love long walks, muddy paws and slobbery kisses more than anyone could imagine. I adore animals, I am a very patient and sensible person, so whatever your pet or their personality, we will get along just fine. I’m happy for regular updates and perfectionist owners who want to leave me lists (please tell me I’m not the only one who does this haha) Please feel free to ask me any questions. I am fully DBS checked & have full public liability cover. I have currently changed jobs so I now only work a couple of nights a week. I take leave for the nights I have the pleasure of looking after your animals. Your animals will be treated like royalty, animals have been a huge part of my life and my life has always revolved around them. There is always plenty of cuddles, play time or chill time whatever they prefer. I’m more than happy to drive to parks or forests for a variety to their life, it will be my pleasure to exercise your animals for you. I am also public liability insured.

About: I have loved dogs ever since I can remember and have grown up taking care of them, including a diverse range of breeds. I have been a dog walker and pet sitter for neighbours in the past. I adore dogs and aim to give them the best experience as possible. I will care for them as if they are my own, giving them all the cuddles and walks a dog could dream of. I’m currently at home from university and so I have plenty of free time to care for your dog. I am available to walk your dog any days of the week and will give them plenty of cuddles and treats (only if their mom or dad allows it ofc!). There is also a large nature reserve two minutes away from which is the perfect place for your dog to sniff to their hearts content. I have a fenced garden for your dog to roam around in as well as a dog of my own to keep them company. His name is Louie (Lou Lou) — the most lovable dog you will meet. He is incredible sociable with other dogs but would also respects their space. He is only a young cockapoo! Our days are spent with lots of cuddles and belly rubs.
