We've left our Beagle-Jack with Alix and her lovely Beagle Toby for two weeks and I honestly believe we couldn't have found a better pet sitter and playmate!! Toby was also very accomodating with Jack and they became best friends playing every single day! Alix is really lovely, she has taken fantastic care of Jack, with gorgeous walks every day and adapted to his needs. We had regular updates and photos so I would totally recommend Alix for all pet accomodation needs and I will definitely contact her again when we go on holiday again! Superb service!

About: I have plenty of time and love to give to your dogs. I have lots of experience with caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I am confident and comfortable with all different dog personalities. I also have experience with senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and young puppies. Just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs. I have had my own dog for the past decade, a Jack Russell who I rescued in America who has now sadly passed and now we have a lovely ex-racing greyhound. I truly understand the importance of your dogs and that dogs are a member of your family. Please read my recent reviews. Here is a link for £15 off your first Rover booking https://www.rover.com/sit/jd37374 I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of time and attention throughout the day. If your dog is staying with us then I will ensure I am at home all day, so they get the attention they need, with the exception if I need to run short errands of less than an hour (quick trip to supermarket etc). I absolutely love walking dogs and spending time outside. I have experience caring for dogs of many breeds and sizes. I live in a detached home in a quiet area with a large secure fully fenced garden (7ft fence). Your dog will have access to the garden whenever they need. There are lots of nice places to walk near my house including fields, woods and walking trails. Your dog can have the entire run of the downstairs of our home while they are here. We also have a dog gate for the kitchen door to ensure safety at night. Our dog, Coco, likes spending time with other dogs. When I’m caring for pets, their safety and comfort always come first. During walks, I make sure each dog is securely leashed with properly fitted gear, and I stick to safe, familiar routes. I pay close attention to their behaviour and surroundings to help keep them calm and happy at all times. For drop-in visits and dog sitting in your home, I follow the owner’s routine closely from feeding and playtime to any special instructions or medications. I always make sure pets feel comfortable in their own environment, keeping things tidy and ensuring they have fresh water and lots of affection before I leave. Communication and trust are key, so I keep owners updated with photos and messages after and during visits if requested. Please note for walks during hot weather, if it is too hot to safely walk your dog I will switch their walk to a drop-in visit (if required) where I take them out for a toilet break/let them out into the garden, spend time with them and ensure their water/food is topped up. That way they are still comfortable and have their basic needs met whilst you are out of the house.

Great communication throughout and was sent lovely photos of Leo having fun playing and snoozing on the sofa. Leo had a great time and is looking forward to he's next stay. About: Hey! I am passionate about providing calm, reliable, and compassionate pet care. With hands-on kennel experience and years of caring for my own rescue dogs, I have a strong understanding of dogs with anxiety, reactivity, and additional care needs. I believe every dog deserves patience, love, and care that works for them as an individual. Offering dependable dog walking and drop-in visits designed to keep your pets comfortable, exercised, and happy in their own environment. I have a retired racer greyhound and a Romanian mongrel rescue and so I am very keen on looking after dogs ranging in needs and different approaches. I am happy to look after all breeds of dogs and listen to how best to take care of your dog⭐️ I work Monday-Wednesday as a Dental Nurse and am home Thursday-Sunday to offer walks and drop ins for your doggies. I can work around you and your schedule on these days to make sure your dogs are looked after and happy. I provide calm, reliable, and personalised care tailored to each pet’s individual needs and routine. In a pet owner’s home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment by maintaining their usual feeding, walking, play, and toilet routines. I also provide companionship, enrichment, fresh water, medication if required, and regular updates for owners’ peace of mind. I will take lots and lots of photos don’t worry!🫶🏼 With experience working in kennels and caring for rescue dogs throughout my life, I am confident handling dogs with additional needs, anxiety, or reactivity. I approach every pet with patience, understanding, and positive handling to help them feel secure and relaxed. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets are treated like family, with plenty of attention, exercise, rest, and one-to-one care. Obviously if they were in my home they would need to be happy to be around my two babies but as long as they’re okay mine are very friendly!

This is the first time we have used the Rover site and all gone very well. We were a bit apprehensive about leaving our Cockapoo, Benji, but we needn't of worried. Karen and her husband were the perfect pick, and we could tell from our meet and greet beforehand that they love dogs and how good they are with them. We had regular updates whilst we were away with photos and messages which was lovely. On pick up it was clear Benji was happy and enjoying being there. Will definately use again. Thank you Karen (and Anthony too).

About: Growing up in a house full of rescue cats and dogs ignited my passion for animal welfare, which goes above and beyond in both my professional and personal life. I understand how daunting it can be leaving your furry one in someone else’s hands and I ensure the best quality care catering to any specific needs, and guaranteed photos of your pet so rest assured you know they’re having fun. I’m able to be flexible working with your house sitting and home boarding needs. At home, I live with both a very friendly dog and loving cat, so your pet would have to be okay with this, otherwise I’m happy to house sit! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions 🤗 I'm experienced in walking dogs of all sizes, chihuahuas to great danes, and can promise walking routes and lengths dependant on your dog's requirements. I'm experienced in house sitting for both dogs and cats, and to ensure your mind is at ease, I keep in full contact with photos of your loved ones throughout time away from them.

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life and genuinely love their unique personalities. Growing up, my family had multiple cats, and at one point we shared our home with six cats at once, so I’m very comfortable caring for cats with different temperaments, ages, and needs. From playful kittens to independent adults and senior cats who need a little extra care and patience, I understand that every cat is different. I’m experienced with feeding routines, administering basic care, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and most importantly, making cats feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I work full-time as a Cardiac Physiologist at West Suffolk Hospital, and in my free time I enjoy taking my Cocker Spaniel on long walks, spending time in the garden, and being outdoors. I’m available for pet care in the mornings and evenings before and after work, as well as throughout the weekend. I can also offer overnight pet sitting when needed. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced pet lover to look after your furry family members, I’d be delighted to help whenever I’m available. Please feel free to send me a message — I’d love to hear from you! 🙂

About: I’m a 33 year old female living in a flat in Bury St Edmunds. I have a marketing job with 9-5:30 flexible hours and I’m currently working from home and free on the weekends. In my spare time I love to go out on long walks & adventures and enjoy them so much better with a dog. I don’t have a dog myself but I have house sat and boarded a range of gorgeous different types of dog on this app and we had great walks together to different parks. I’d love to help people in the area with walks or boarding / looking after their dog whenever needed :). I’d be so excited to look after anyone’s animal/s in general and to help anyone out :). I’m very independent and live by myself but I am very close to my parents in south Cambridge where we all love to go on walks together too. Please message me if you would like to know anything more or require any further information :). I work from home so I am able to offer daycare during these times and I also offer boarding and house sitting. My partner Laurie also likes to help out and is usually around when I board dogs at my place. He enjoys joining us for walks and playing with the dogs. For house sitting Laurie will also join me so your pets get all the extra attention and love. We are always happy to come by for a meet up/ introduction beforehand so you get to meet us both. I have a shared garden for regular smaller walk/ toilet breaks but during your dogs stay I will also venture out for longer walks. I’ll make sure your dog gets all the exercise, love & attention they need! Please note that I do live in a flat/apartment where there are always neighbours coming/going at different times in the area. I am aware that sometimes seeing/hearing strangers can make a dog anxious/ bark a lot. Please consider this before booking :) many thanks. Pet care fits into my routine easily, as I work from home and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give dogs the attention, walks, and care they need throughout the day. I prioritize a safe, calm, and pet-friendly environment by following each pet’s routine, keeping spaces secure, and always treating them with patience and kindness. Whether in my home or the owner’s, I maintain trust by respecting their rules, providing updates, and ensuring the pets feel comfortable and cared for.

About: My name is Hayley, I have had dogs since I was 15. I absolutely love all dogs, although bulldogs have a very special place in my heart! We have a 5 year old resident French bulldog who is extremely sociable and absolutely adores making new friends, we take lots of very enrichment filled walks along rivers, fields and woodlands. We hire enclosed fields with swimming facilities for warmer days. We have cooling mats and paddling pools in the garden along with lots of enrichment toys and activities, our evenings are usually spent snuggled together on the sofa after a fun filled day of exploring. I work from home on a very flexible schedule so your dogs will have someone with them 24/7. We have a resident French bulldog who adores all dogs. We take daily walks through the woods and along the river, with plenty of sniffing breaks. We also visit the enclosed field regularly for a well earned strech of the legs and run for the more athletic dogs, I tailor the dogs care fully to their needs, we do a minimum of 2 walks a day ( weather dependent for certain breeds ) plus we have lots of enrichment activities at home for them to enjoy. I have a fully fenced garden, stair gates in place for your dogs safety, plenty of treats and space on the sofa! We are happy to tailor to your dogs needs with beds, sofa or crate sleeping, I have over 20 years experience with all different breeds of dogs.

Jane was brilliant. I made a last minute booking and Jane still made time to meet myself and my dog both. She provided regular updates and Donald looked so comfortable in every photo! So much so when I went to pick him up, he came and said hello and then jumped back on her sofa! Would definitely recommend and would 100% ask Jane for future care.

About: I’m Lee 🐾 I’ve always had a big heart for animals, and caring for them is more than a job—it’s my passion. Whether your furry friend loves long walks, playful adventures, or just a quiet cuddle, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I have experience with both dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior pets who need extra care and patience. My approach is gentle, reliable, and tailored to each pet’s unique personality. I am currently working part-time, but soon looking to care for animals as my full time job. I am currently available most afternoons and early evenings with some weekend availability when I can. Anything considered, where I am available. I have a fenced garden, that even keeps in my very Senior cat of 19 years for her daily wander around. Along with my 2 friendly playful dogs.

About: I have had dogs all my life. Having grown up with a German Shepherd and a Border Collie, I have a depth of understanding that all dogs are different and have a great set up in my home to cater for everyone. I don’t just simply sit and give lots of love, I also gain an understanding as to what the dogs interests are; whether it’s extra long walks, fun enrichment games or lots of belly rubs, I am committed to making my space feel as much of a home away from home for the animals💖 I currently work a lovely hybrid job where I go into office just once a week on whatever day I chose (never a Friday for obvious reasons haha). I’m a content creator so my work flow is really easy to manage and I have plenty of time for the animals that come over. My partner is also fully remote so the pets can also pick and choose between the both of us if they please, some even snuggle between us on the sofa🥹 I always let the animals settle at their own pace. We live just beside Hartham Common and the Cromwell road allotments which has a lovely walking option beside it, so we have two amazing options there for those who love their walks! I love to offer the animals enrichment options such as snuffle mats, licking mats and Kongs. We live in a spacious flat with no balcony so the animals will be completely enclosed, safe and comfortable with a range of sleeping options to choose from such as the sofa, a lovely orthopaedic bed, a cosy crate and the most popular choice… the floor😂

About: Hi, I’m Georgia ☺️ I’m a self-employed Nutritionist working from home full-time, so your dog will rarely be left alone and will have lots of company, cuddles, attention, and care throughout the day. I live with my partner Ty and our lovely Springador, Rover and every other weekend my 5-year-old step-son Axel stays with us too. Our fur baby Rover is incredibly friendly, gentle-natured, and absolutely loves other dogs, so we thought it would be lovely for him to occasionally have some company and a playmate too. We’re huge animal lovers and genuinely treat dogs like part of the family. Both myself and Ty grew up with dogs and are thus very familiar with caring for them. Since becoming self-employed 3 years ago, I have become somewhat the local dog-minder, checking in on/taking care of various neighbours dogs on a regular basis, and given how much Rover loves other dogs and that I have the flexibility within my job, we’d love to open our home to your fur-babies to stay with us while you are away! We live in an area with loads of beautiful walking spots nearby and have a large family car with plenty of boot space for forest and beach trips, so your dog will enjoy plenty of walks, enrichment, and attention while staying with us. Our home has plenty of space so dogs can be kept apart if and when needed, and we have a fully fenced, secure garden for dogs to safely play and relax in. Rover is not neutered, though he shows very little interest in female dogs in that way, but if a female dog were staying with us, they would always be supervised closely and separated if ever left unattended. Our boy Rover is a truly gentle soul and mirrors the energy of the dogs he is around, so regardless of if you have an energetic young pup, or an old timer who likes to take it slow, they have a place in our home. Walk lengths and frequency can be fully tailored to your dogs needs. For everyone’s comfort and safety, we ask that the dogs staying with us ideally need to: * Be friendly with other dogs * Be comfortable in a home environment * Be okay around children * Have up to date vaccinations That said, because we only have Axel every other weekend, if your dog is unsure around children, feel free to message anyway and we may still be able to accommodate depending on timings. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone, so I’ll always make sure you receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication while they’re with us ☺️ We have additional private insurance for dog sitting/boarding and day care in our home. Caring for your dog is easy for us as I am self-employed and work entirely from home so I will always be with your dog and able to care for them throughout the day. We live in military issued housing and have an entirely fenced in private garden, and live amongst other military personnel, making where we live a very safe and trusted community.

About: I have been dog, cat, and house sitting since childhood! I have volunteered at SPCA and have always found or adopted my pets. I grew up with a golden retriever and several cats. My schedule is very flexible right now, as I recently relocated to bury st Edmund's. Hoping to make the most of my time by helping out others and getting to spend time with their furry family. I have spent many years caring for pets of friends and family in their homes. I've always felt that it's easier to keep them in their home where they are familiar and comfortable and I am the one who is in their space. They are already missing their parents (owners) no need to add more stress.

Bentley had a great stay, Philip kept us updated regularly so always felt relaxed that he was ok and settled. Bentley had plenty of exercise with long walks and a trip to the dog park. Would definitely recommend and use again. Many thanks

Shaun & his family were amazing! They couldn’t have been more accommodating and were really flexible through out. We received plenty of updates and she was made to feel right at home with them. They are an absolute credit to dog lovers and you can guarentee they will be spoilt the whole time. Thank you so much, we will certainly book again.

We decided on a last minute trip out of the country. Anna worked with us every step of the way and made sure we were always in the know with our girl. She would send daily updates and photos. It was a peace of mind while we were away to know our dog was being loved and cared for by such a lovely family. Will use Anna again for boarding in the future.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and was lucky enough to own a lovely Spaniel myself, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us. I also have spent eight years working alongside working dogs in the Civil Service, which gave me great experience around dogs with different personalities, needs, and routines. Above all, I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with them. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having company throughout the day, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday to Friday and have the flexibility of working from home on certain days. However, when I agree to look after your dog, I will ensure that I am not working so that I can give them the time, attention, and care they deserve. I enjoy being active and love going on long walks, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy time outdoors, and I live just a 5-minute walk from a large open playing field, perfect for walks, exercise, and playtime. I take great pride in caring not only for dogs but also in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment.
