About: I’ve lived with and looked after many pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals. I regularly look after my friends dogs, cats and other small pets. I have a passion for dogs and although I don’t currently have my own I regularly walk dogs daily with friends and/or family. I’ve helped train puppies and also spent time caring for elder dogs. I currently work for a company that produces smart devices for pets so I am very familiar with animals and the wants and needs required to look after them and their welfare. I work fully remote for a pet device company and regularly spend my spare time with my friends and families pets. I’m active and love walking, I have completed the Camino de Santiago and enjoyed every step. Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own I have pet beds, bowls and other toys etc as I regularly look after dogs at my house. I make sure my house is pet friendly and love to get to know every animal I pet sit. A part of forming a bond and making sure they are cared for is understanding the behaviours and habits they already have and keeping as routine as you can to keep them safe and happy. I’ve regularly pet sat at friends homes and always treat their animals and homes with love and care.

About: I've taken care of both dogs and cats since a young age, experienced in dog grooming and a small amount of house sitting previously! I currently work part time ( very early morning hours ) therefore the rest of my days are available to spend caring for you much loved animals! All days from 10AM - evening, excluding Sunday. About: I have had animals all my life. I have a genuine love of taking care of them. I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Guinea Pigs and horses. I currently own two dogs, a cat, Guinea pigs and two ponies. I have worked with animals most of my life. I worked for the animal charity Wood Green Animal Shelter on field section, worked at a dog kennels, cattery and also worked in the hospitality industry. I have a clean driving licence. I have good knowledge of taking care of a variety of animals which has given me the experience and knowledge needed. I love the psychology of animals and understanding their body language. I am a single mum of three daughters. Two go to work and one is disabled and goes to a fantastic school in Alconbury near Huntingdon. So im at home alone a lot. I have been looking for a job that can is flexible and active but also to do something I love and have experience doing. I have a lot of free so this type of work suits me down to the ground. My home has a big garden that is fully fenced all the way round. I have tiled floors indoors which is easy cleaning. My house is open plan but I do have a utility room for a quiet place.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for the last 15 years - currently dog mummy to Gracie, Miniature Schnauzer and Molly, Working Cocker Spaniel. Frequently look after friends and neighbours pets. Which of course means I am available 7 days a week. Looking after your four legged friends is about fitting into your routine and theirs. I live next to the River Cam, which makes me nearby to all the local commons for your furry friends to run and have space. I also have a fenced and gated back garden for security and welfare of our fur babies. I do also own a cage should that be the way your pet is accustomed, nevertheless everything else would have to be provided by you and the way your babies are cared for is customized by how you/they like it. Unless emergency care/ last minute, I recommend/prefer a meet and greet before any decisions are made, to see how we fit.

About: When growing up my mum was a dog behaviouralist and rescued and rehoused many different pets! At one point we even had 17 dogs and 12 puppies ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have 24 years of experience with looking after not only my pets but those of family friends and eventually clients, I also studied companion animal management in collage to widen my knowledge on all the pets I’ve had/looked after. I recently moved to the area and have no current job. I live with my husband and a ferret that has his own room outside the main house, I don’t have any hobbies other than calligraphy writing (just started) and computer games. Having something other than me to look after would be nice whilst my husband’s at work. There is only one neighbour on my street surrounded by farmland (currently with corn) I do have a back garden that is mostly fenced in but there is on panel that needs re wiring so pets would be on a lead when outside, I am also only a 5 minute drive from a rentable dog field for safe and stress free zoomies!

From the moment she arrived for a pre-sit visit, it was clear that she had a lot of experience, asking detailed questions about both pets to get a understanding of their personalities and needs. Our whippet, Rupert, suffers from separation anxiety, so it was a big ask for her to be here for 9 nights. Marie kept us updated with videos and pictures and Rupert had a great time out and about with her. Marie experienced some challenges with the boiler which resulted in us having to call an engineer out to problem-solve, but she was very gracious when there was no hot water for a couple of days. Rupert even got taken to a dog park, where he could run off lead, which was really thoughtful of her. When we got back, both pets had been very well looked after, and the house was very tidy and clean. Thanks, Marie, for looking after them so well.”
