About: I’ve lived with and looked after many pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals. I regularly look after my friends dogs, cats and other small pets. I have a passion for dogs and although I don’t currently have my own I regularly walk dogs daily with friends and/or family. I’ve helped train puppies and also spent time caring for elder dogs. I currently work for a company that produces smart devices for pets so I am very familiar with animals and the wants and needs required to look after them and their welfare. I work fully remote for a pet device company and regularly spend my spare time with my friends and families pets. I’m active and love walking, I have completed the Camino de Santiago and enjoyed every step. Although I don’t currently have a pet of my own I have pet beds, bowls and other toys etc as I regularly look after dogs at my house. I make sure my house is pet friendly and love to get to know every animal I pet sit. About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and understand just how important pets are as part of the family. Growing up, I had six cats and a Golden Labrador, and I now have a lovely Cocker Spaniel of my own, so I’m experienced with both cats and dogs and comfortable caring for pets of different ages and personalities. I work full-time as a Cardiac Physiologist at West Suffolk Hospital, and in my free time I enjoy taking my Cocker Spaniel on long walks, spending time in the garden, and being outdoors. I’m available for pet care in the mornings and evenings before and after work, as well as throughout the weekend. I can also offer overnight pet sitting when needed. About: I have worked in the veterinary profession since the early 90's and have experience of large and small animals. I have trained veterinary nurses, run puppy classes, taught basic dog training, qualified in common dog and cat behaviour problems, provided pet behaviour counselling and owned 3 dogs and multiple cats over the years. I would say that cats are my speciality as I worked at Cambridge Cat Clinic for 3 years and perfected my feline nursing skills. I am able to administer oral medications to all species and also injections if required, such as insulin. I am currently completing my training to become a counsellor (for humans) so I will be able to care for your pets around my studies and seeing my human clients. This allows me to be very flexible with regards to length of time needed to be with your pets. I will follow whatever routine has been established for your pets with regards to feeding, exercise, cuddles, grooming and any medication needed. I will have absolute respect for your wishes regarding where you want you pets to go i.e. indoors only, garden, park etc. I can provide regular updates about your pets while you are away to put your mind at rest.
