My parents managed a very successful boarding establishment which I worked in regularly and we always had dogs of our own: Rhodesian ridgebacks, rescue greyhounds, dachshunds to name a few. My husband works from home, so is home all day to ensure that your dogs have company and I'll take responsibility for feeding and any medication required. While I work approximately 38 weeks a year, my husband works from home full time and is available to keep your pet company throughout the day. My mother, who worked with dogs for 55 years prior to retiring, also visits us regularly and is happy to help out with any dogs staying. We love heading out walks; dog walking is already part of our daily routine, with longer walks and adventures being a favourite weekend hobby. I've been walking dogs for friends and neighbours since I was school age, but a dog owner myself for 14 years. “Elsa had a wonderful visit with Fern. It was her first stay away from home and she came back happy and tuckered out. Fern kept in touch with pics and info about Elsa and I could see what a good time she was having. I couldn't have been happier. Fern clearly understands and loves dogs. “Our dog, Brodie, stayed for a week with Pedro and his parents. Pedro sent us a few videos in which Brodie looked very happy out walking. When we returned he was a bit fatter than before (not a problem as he was too skinny) and was therefore evidently well fed. He came home happy and unaffected by his first stay away from home. Pedro clearly has a big affinity with dogs.”
“Our doggies had a fantastic experience with Claire, Ross and their dog Syd, who looked after Spud and Murphy. Claire and Ross were amazing and kept me updated throughout the weekend with fantastic photos of the dogs, showing how happy and comfortable they were. Syd, shared his toys and was very patient with Spud and Murphy. It really put our minds at ease knowing Spud and Murphy were being treated like part of the family. When it was time to pick them up, Spud didn’t want to leave!! I highly recommend Claire, Ross and Syd, and will definitely be using their services again for Spud and Murphy!”
