About: I grew up with dogs. My parents managed a very successful boarding establishment which I worked in regularly and we always had dogs of our own: Rhodesian ridgebacks, rescue greyhounds, dachshunds to name a few. I've regularly looked after other people's dogs and have never had any complaints. My husband and I have a beautiful little jack russell whom we adore. My husband works from home, so is home all day to ensure that your dogs have company and I'll take responsibility for feeding and any medication required. While I work approximately 38 weeks a year, my husband works from home full time and is available to keep your pet company throughout the day. My mother, who worked with dogs for 55 years prior to retiring, also visits us regularly and is happy to help out with any dogs staying. We love heading out walks; dog walking is already part of our daily routine, with longer walks and adventures being a favourite weekend hobby. Check that they can't jump the tall fence in the garden, or are likely to dig underneath it. Lots of play time interacting with us and our jack russell, Maple. Feeding time(s) as per owners' requests. Medication administered as required. Plenty of opportunities to do the toilet (both in the garden and on walks)

Earlier this year, I had to say goodbye to my large, fluffy, 11 year old German Shepherd. I love all canines big and small. I've been walking dogs for friends and neighbours since I was school age, but a dog owner myself for 14 years. During that time I attended dog training classes with my own dog, and so can relate to the frustrations and joys of puppy owners! This year I became a volunteer dog walker for The Cinnamon Trust, and through this, I have been matched locally, with a lovely black lab and her owner. I am loving our walks together! I am happy to do dog walking, letting dogs out in their garden, cat feeding/letting out etc. This can be on an adhoc or more regular basis. (Please note I am unable to offer day-care/boarding at my home). I provide petcare services to people, alongside my part time job. About: We have a tri paw dog which we rehomed 3 years ago from Bahrain. Kanga is 7 years old. Although Kanga is healthy & active he doesn’t require very long walks. Previous to Kanga I used to have a mischievous greyhound. Since she passed away I decided not to get another dog for a while. I have been around lots of other friends and family dogs. I’d love to help out by doing some dog walking. It will be good for my mental health and it will be perfect whilst I have extra time to fill. We have recently moved to a new area. “Caroline provided care for our dog during our recent holiday for a week. Our dog is a good boy but he has a tendency to bark and struggles with some other dogs. “Excellent. Seth loved his 10 days with Pedro. Pedro is very knowledgeable about dogs and clearly interested in learning more about them everyday. You can tell he loves dogs. Pedro took Seth on daily walks on and off lead (with our permission) and kept up great contact, sending videos and voicenotes daily with updates. Pedro didn't mind brushing Seth's teeth daily at our request and even sent us tips on oral care. He brushed Seth's coat out without is prompting it. Seth misses Pedro already and will definitely stay again.”

About: I have plenty of time and love to give to your dogs. I have lots of experience with caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. I am confident and comfortable with all different dog personalities. I also have experience with senior dogs, dogs with medical conditions and young puppies. I have had my own dog for the past decade, a Jack Russell who I rescued in America who has now sadly passed and now we have a lovely ex-racing greyhound. If your dog is staying with us then I will ensure I am at home all day, so they get the attention they need, with the exception if I need to run short errands of less than an hour (quick trip to supermarket etc). I absolutely love walking dogs and spending time outside. I have experience caring for dogs of many breeds and sizes. I live in a detached home in a quiet area with a large secure fully fenced garden (7ft fence). Your dog will have access to the garden whenever they need. There are lots of nice places to walk near my house including fields, woods and walking trails. Your dog can have the entire run of the downstairs of our home while they are here. We also have a dog gate for the kitchen door to ensure safety at night. Our dog, Coco, likes spending time with other dogs. When I’m caring for pets, their safety and comfort always come first. During walks, I make sure each dog is securely leashed with properly fitted gear, and I stick to safe, familiar routes. I pay close attention to their behaviour and surroundings to help keep them calm and happy at all times. For drop-in visits and dog sitting in your home, I follow the owner’s routine closely from feeding and playtime to any special instructions or medications. I always make sure pets feel comfortable in their own environment, keeping things tidy and ensuring they have fresh water and lots of affection before I leave. Communication and trust are key, so I keep owners updated with photos and messages after and during visits if requested. Please note for walks during hot weather, if it is too hot to safely walk your dog I will switch their walk to a drop-in visit (if required) where I take them out for a toilet break/let them out into the garden, spend time with them and ensure their water/food is topped up. That way they are still comfortable and have their basic needs met whilst you are out of the house.
