About: As someone who has had animals all my life, caring for pets comes naturally to me. Over the years, I have owned and looked after a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and chickens. I genuinely love animals and enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds. From energetic pupps to senior cats, I appreciate that every animal has its own personality and needs. The only exception is snakes - while I respect them, they are where I draw the line! I am experienced with dogs of all sizes, including large breeds (I myself have a beautiful Great Dane), as well as senior dogs and cats who may require extra patience, gentle handling, or medication. I look forward to being your pets' new best friend while you are away :) NB: New to this app I'm currently working part-time, remotely as a personal assistant with a flexible schedule, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. I am an active person during the day and will gladly take long walks with your pets or play with them around the house and in the garden. During the evenings, I love spending snuggled on the sofa, reading a book or binge watching a new series. Your pets' safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities, as well as the safety of your home. I take the time to understand each pet's routine, personality, dietary requirements, and any medical needs before every sit. I carefully follow all owner instructions and keep emergency contact and veterinary details readily available. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust. “Ralph was completely faultless. He stayed at our house to look after our disabled French bulldog Ivy for a weekend. We were somewhat apprehensive about it all but on meeting him we were filled with confidence and the experience was great. Not only was he excellent with Ivy, who requires very specific care, but he was incredibly clean and left the house as if he hadn’t been there. Nothing bad to say and will definitely been requesting him again.”

About: I have loved dogs and cats (and all the other animals!) since I was a kid, as I grew up on a small farm. I always enjoyed their company, and they seem to enjoy mine ☺️ I had a black lab called Brian in my adult years and a cat called Simba. My heart broke to pieces twice when I lost them. I have always been actively seeking dog and cat sitting opportunities, especially before and after Brian. My longest dog sitting was nearly 6 months long, and I still go to visit him whenever I can as we have formed a lovely bond. I currently work for a company producing smart devices as well as other products for dogs (soon cats, too!), so I am very familiar with the dog & cat world and their welfare is very important to me (as well as all the other animals!). I work full time in a 9-5 office role, but I am based mostly from home and generally have a good degree of flexibility throughout the week, with the occasional exception when I need to be in the office or attend meetings elsewhere. This means I can usually fit pet care easily around my schedule. For dogs, I can provide walks before work, during my lunch break, and again after work, as well as plenty of companionship throughout the day. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so daily walks and quality time with pets fit naturally into my routine. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed while their owners are away. I usually care for pets in their own home, as I find they are happiest and most comfortable in familiar surroundings. For dogs in particular, this almost always means that I stay in the owner’s home so they can keep their usual routine and enjoy the comforts they are used to. I am happy to discuss having a dog stay in my home if needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always look after both pets and homes with care, respect, and attention to detail.
