About: I have loved dogs and cats (and all the other animals!) since I was a kid, as I grew up on a small farm. I always enjoyed their company, and they seem to enjoy mine ☺️ I had a black lab called Brian in my adult years and a cat called Simba. My heart broke to pieces twice when I lost them. I have always been actively seeking dog and cat sitting opportunities, especially before and after Brian. My longest dog sitting was nearly 6 months long, and I still go to visit him whenever I can as we have formed a lovely bond. I currently work for a company producing smart devices as well as other products for dogs (soon cats, too!), so I am very familiar with the dog & cat world and their welfare is very important to me (as well as all the other animals!). I work full time in a 9-5 office role, but I am based mostly from home and generally have a good degree of flexibility throughout the week, with the occasional exception when I need to be in the office or attend meetings elsewhere. This means I can usually fit pet care easily around my schedule. For dogs, I can provide walks before work, during my lunch break, and again after work, as well as plenty of companionship throughout the day. About: I've had pets all my life. I grew up with two cats, and have had a labrador ever since I was 14. I have lots of experience working with dogs with behavioural issues as I regularly sit for a family member's dog who can be very aggressive. I have a very calm temperament and find that pets feel safe and relaxed around me. I take real care in making sure that each pet is treated individually and feels happy and safe. Rocio was amazing with our two dogs. She spent quite a bit of time with them beforehand in a meet and greet so that they were comfortable with her in the house, and quickly built a positive bond with them. Rocio was extremely professional and attentive, and I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for someone to take care of your doggos!
Simply can’t recommend Emma enough! She was absolutely incredible with my nervous pup, who warmed up to her really quickly. We met for a few play dates prior to the house sitting, and it was clear Emma knew how to be around and support anxious dogs. I could tell my dog felt safe and relaxed with her ❤️ She also sent me regular photos of him while I was away and kept me updated on how the little chap was doing.
