“Danuta and her family were so accommodating and kind, making sure Floki’s first night away from us was comfortable and reassuring. They went above and beyond to help him settle in and have fun. We’d be delighted for him to stay with them again — their location and flexibility made everything easy and stress-free for us.”

“Barra had a wonderful long weekend break with May - full of walks, playtime, and downtime as appropriate. She also learned some great new behaviours from May, such as how to sit at the curbside and the 'touch' tip. As a new and protective dog owner of an 8 month old, I had complete faith in May and could see how happy and well looked after Barra had been when I came to pick her up. I also learned some new skills in looking after Barra myself. May (Ping Yan L.) is a calm and compassionate person and her love of dogs and care for them shines through. I was able to enjoy my weekend away with complete peace of mind. May also sent me messages, photos and videos of how Barra was doing. I only go to Cambridge every few months but know that Barra now has a real companion there and very much look forward to booking May again.”

“Lauren is fantastic and highly recommended. My dog often seems a bit stressed when he's come and had such a good time during his 10-night stay with her. Lauren kept us updated throughout and sent daily videos and photos of him enjoying his walks.”

“I have an elderly dog with multiple health issues and a complex medication regime. For this reason she cannot be left alone for long and I was very anxious about leaving her. I need not have worried. She had a fantastic week with Erin and Andrea. After her first trial visit, as soon as she saw there street, she was pulling to get to their door - very excited. Erin and Andrea made additional notes to mine and coped with the routine without a hitch. They contacted me during the trial nights to ensure they had fully understood, and for clarification on something I had overlooked. It was lovely to receive their updates and be able to see that my dog was loving doing her usual things. And I was able to relax knowing my dog was in capable and caring hands. I cannot recommend this couple more highly.”

About: While I haven’t owned a cat myself, I have plenty of experience caring for cats belonging to friends and family. From feeding and refreshing water to keeping them company and ensuring their routines are followed, I understand how important it is for cats to feel comfortable and secure in their own home. About: My name is Eva, I'm 35 and I absolutely love dogs! I’ve got lots of experience over the years - walking and sitting dogs through Rover for over 6 years - please check out my reviews! And sadly, I recently lost my dog, a Norwich terrier that my family had from a puppy to her amazing 16.5 years so I understand just how much love and attention dogs need at every stage of life. Whether you’re looking for dog walking, drop-in visits, or sitting services, I’d be happy to help you. Dogs naturally gravitate towards me. I'm confident with dogs of all sizes and all ages. Very experienced with caring for senior dogs and cats, can administer medicine and always be gente with them. I also love taking care of puppies and young dogs! Every dog is unique and if it's necessary I always spend the extra time to earn the dog's trust and make it comfortable with a new person. I also sponsor a guide dog in training through Guide Dog's UK for the past 3 years. Security is important. I understand very well how to handle a dog while walking on the street and busy areas with traffic, people, other dogs and everything that can possibly distract the dog. I also know how owners of small breeds feel when seeing a huge dog coming up to them. I would be delighted to take your dog for a nice long walk, perhaps run a little bit in a park if it's full of energy or maybe a slow walk somewhere nice if it's a bit older or recovering..? Totally depends what your dog prefers :) If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks, Eva I am fairly available. I live in Trumpington so it's easy for me if you are from that area too but I have a bike so I can get around Cambridge easily. I am not allowed to keep dogs at my rental property for now. That's why I can only offer dogwalking or dogsitting at your property.

About: Hi! I’m a genuine animal lover who would love to help care for your cat when you’re away, busy, or simply need someone you can trust to check in on them. 🐾 I’ve always been surrounded by animals, including cats, and have grown up with them around me. I’ve also regularly cared for pets belonging to family and friends. I can’t currently have a cat of my own, so I’m very happy to have the opportunity to spend time with and care for other people’s cats. I’m offering drop-in visits in your own home, where I can make sure your cat is fed, has fresh water, their litter tray is looked after, and they get some playtime, attention and cuddles if they’re in the mood! I know cats can be very independent and that every cat has their own personality and routine. Some love lots of attention, while others prefer their own space, and I’m happy to let them set the pace while making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m mainly available at weekends and will always treat your cat with the same care, patience and affection I’d want for my own. 🐱❤️

About: Hi, I’m Romina 😊 I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always grown up with pets. I’ve mainly looked after small and medium-sized dogs, but I also really like larger dogs and would be more than happy to care for one. Since moving to England, it’s been a bit more difficult to have a pet of my own, so I’d love the chance to look after other people’s dogs, give them plenty of affection, and enjoy spending time with them. I enjoy playing with them, taking them out for walks, and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well looked after - just like they would at home. I’m also happy to handle feeding and follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. I currently study online, which means I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to different needs. I may also be available on some bank holidays, depending on availability. I’m a patient, responsible, and caring person, and I would look after your dog as if they were part of my own family 🐶💛 If you have any questions or would like to know a bit more about me, I’d be very happy to chat! I study online during the afternoons and evenings, so I have plenty of time during the day to stay with your pet or take them out for walks. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be a priority. I’ll make sure to follow their usual routine and your instructions, from feeding and walks to playtime, rest, and any special needs. I’ll also take the time to get to know their personality and respect their individual needs and boundaries, so they can feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I’ll keep you updated with photos and videos throughout their stay, so you can see how they’re doing and have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’ll treat every pet with patience, kindness, and care, and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable during their time with me. 🐾

She even went so far as to teach Barney a new handy trick! Would definitely be happy to book in with May again in the future.”

“Sarah was great. Took the time to get to know my more cautious dog, and worked with the random schedule to make sure the dogs got out morning and afternoon. She let me know if they were feeling nervous that day, if she noticed a limp, or anything else out of the ordinary. Mine are both medium dogs and she handled taking them both out and walked them together easily. It seems like they really liked her. I would definitely book with Sarah again.”

I work full time at a hospital, which equates to 3 shifts a week, 12 hours long each shift. This gives me 4 days off a week. Unfortunately, I don’t work set shifts so my schedule changes week by week but I get my rota through 2 months in advance so can plan around it easily! I can also request days off if far enough in advance if needed! My days off are generally spent going on walks (when I’m not doing house work!) or reading. I am happy to follow any and all safety requirements for your dog, including crating and walking them on a lead. I am happy to send regular photos and updates and any other requests. I know it is hard to trust someone with your pet so want to make you as comfortable as possible!

About: I had a dog when I was really young for 12 years so I am very used to having them around me. I have looked after my family members 3 dogs and I have a puppy of my own. I am working part - time so I have a lot of time in the week to walk and look after your dogs. I absolutely love animals but dogs are my favourite. I will always keep your dog on a lead whenever I go for a walk and the places I will go I know very well and are safe.

About: I am a Scientist at the University of Cambridge and a pet lover. Unfortunately, I do not availability to own one. I spent my childhood surrounded by cats and dogs in my grandparents' backyard. Being a pet sitter gives me an opportunity to remember this period and spend time with your loved pets. I am available to feed, play, give medication and clean their sandbox.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by pets my whole life—dogs, cats, and everything in between. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or giving meds. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I work full time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer reliable pet care throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning drop-ins, midday walks, or evening visits, I’m able to adjust to your pet’s routine and ensure they’re never without the attention they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I create a calm, clean, and secure environment where they can relax and feel at home. I follow all care instructions closely and treat every pet with the same attention and respect as my own. You can trust that your furry friend will be in responsible, loving hands at all times
About: My pet care experience ranges from growing up with rabbits, to living with 5 different dogs in various circumstances to now having an indoor cat of my own. I have taken care of neighbours cats throughout the years as well as family and friends dogs & cats in various situations too! I work full time and am only required to be in the office two days a month so I have a lot of flexibility in my day to day time. I live in a house with a fenced garden, with access to fields for long walks near by. I have plenty of space for crates and am happy to make adjustments as your pets needs require them. I have a car so I am easily able to do drop ins on your pets.
About: Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, each bringing unique experiences and joys. I’ve owned cats, whose independent yet affectionate nature taught me patience, and dogs, whose loyalty and energy made them delightful companions. My love for animals expanded to include bearded dragons, requiring careful attention to their reptilian needs, as well as fish, a gerbil, and birds, each adding their own charm. I’ve also raised chickens, enjoying their quirky personalities and the daily reward of fresh eggs. One of my most memorable moments was rescuing a robin, deepening my appreciation for wildlife and the bond between humans and animals. Pet care remains an important part of my life, even while balancing my current schedule at university. My cat, Coco, stays at my family home, where she’s well cared for, but I make it a priority to visit regularly. During these visits, I ensure her needs are met and spend quality time with her, strengthening our bond. These moments not only allow me to care for Coco but also provide a comforting break from university life, reminding me of the joy and grounding presence pets bring. When caring for pets in my own home or someone else’s, I prioritize their well-being and happiness, offering attentive and compassionate care tailored to their needs. I ensure they are fed on schedule with the appropriate diet, have clean living spaces, and receive plenty of interaction, whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply comforting companionship. I’m experienced with a range of animals, from cats and dogs to reptiles and birds, so I understand the unique care requirements of each species. Additionally, I’m attentive to their health, keeping an eye out for any changes in behavior or condition that might need attention. Whether it’s my own pet or someone else’s, I approach every animal with the same level of love and dedication, creating a safe and happy environment for them.

“Definitely recommend! Very reliable, even though Jirka was unavailable, his partner (who is lovely) came and took Joey out for a walk. The weather was horrible so she made sure Joey was all tried up and had enough attention before leaving. She even updated me on how her walk was and sent me photos so I knew she was in good hands.”

“Rocio took amazing care of my dachshund during a 4 night stay. She provided lots of amazing photo updates and it was clear Matilda was having a great time! She even celebrated her birthday with her ❤️ I would not hesitate to use Rocio again for our next trip. Thank you Rocio!”

“Kinga was fantastic and I would recommend to anyone. She kindly took our late booking and asked lots of questions, making sure our boy would be as comfortable as possible. Our dog got along great with Rai, he is definitely missing her a bit after going home! It was clear that our dog was in great hands and had a good time with Kinga.”

“Max was an absolutely amazing host for our nervous dog. Him and his partner took great care of Thor and made us feel so comfortable and happy leaving him there overnight. They were really accommodating and gave lots of updates of him having a great time.”

“Buttercup had the most wonderful time with Teresa on her first-ever non-family overnight boarding experience. She was so well looked after and I received fantastic photos of her enjoying herself.”

“We keep on rebooking with Stella as she and her partner take great care of our dog Astrid. She sends us updates and our dog doesn’t want to leave their place when we pick her up! Thanks both so so much 🙏”

“Gemma and her dog Herbie were really lovely and I felt very relaxed to leave our dog Bonnie with them both. Communication was excellent and Gemma sent regular updates and videos/photos which was very thoughtful. I would definitely recommend and I hope Gemma is available next time we need someone to take care of Bonnie!”

“Flash had a fantastic time at Jacob’s. Jacob kept us regularly updated with lots of Photos, We were more concerned that Flash would not want to leave. Really recommend Jacob. We could really enjoy our holiday knowing Flash was in safe hands.”

“Alice was absolutely wonderful! She was very quick to respond to all messages, and even accepted our last minute boarding request. Our dog can be a little nervous and shy, but she warmed up to Alice very quickly. Alice also sent lots of photos and videos, which was very much appreciated.”

“I chose to take Chase to Stephen because his first question was if we can have an introductory meeting before we take him there. It was reassuring to me and the rest of my experience with him remained the same. Stephen and his family gave a loving home environment to our Chase. He was allowed to stay on the settee, got walks and got a friendly doggie company in their dog, Sam. Stephen kept me informed with messages and photos, he was transparent and told me that Chase was a little nervous initially, but then settled down so I didn’t have to worry, I knew he was in good, trustworthy hands. I will book with Stephen again when we’re going away.”

“Amazing and will definitely be dropping her off again! She was gentle and kind towards Moon and provided her a relaxing environment. Dina was also kind to show where Moon can explore and roam around in the garden!”
