Hi! My name is Lucia, and I’m passionate about caring for animals. I’ve been a dedicated pet owner for over 10 years, with experience caring for rabbits, cats, and dogs. I’ve been offering pet sitting as a service for almost 3 years now! Plus, I have a DBS check for your peace of mind. My experience includes cat sitting, where I make sure all cats in my care are happy, well fed, and safe while their owners are away. I also provide weekly dog sitting and dog walking services for families, ranging from puppies to senior dogs, I ensure that their pets are well taken care of, fed, walked, and have plenty of cuddle time! Additionally, I have over 5 years of volunteer experience at an animal shelter in Spain, where I fostered dogs and supported them in finding their forever homes. This experience taught me to understand a wide variety of temperaments and behaviours in pets, giving me valuable insight into each animal’s unique needs.

We hired Lucia to look after our cat while we were away for a week. She was so thorough and attentive during her visits, and it was such a relief. She worked through the heatwave to make our cat as comfortable as possible and sent detailed reports every day. Our car very much enjoyed her company, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet companion!

Currently, I’m a student at university and only work a couple of days a week, which gives me plenty of time to devote to animals.

When caring for pets in an owners home, I try and follow their daily routines closely, from feeding schedules to walks and playtime, to keep pets happy and comfortable. I provide updates and photos for peace of mind, and keep the home clean and secure.

A typical day
I love going on long walks, discovering new trails, and giving pets both mental and physical stimulation to keep them engaged and happy. Dog puzzles, treat games, and teaching new tricks are some of my favorite activities to keep pets mentally stimulated!
