“I had only good experiences in rover so far, and mostly gave 5 stars to every person that took care of my pets. May gave a different meaning to 5 stars! She took my puppy Lola and took care of her like it was her own, designed a schedule with activities and gave her the attention a puppy needs (playing, stimulating activities, hygiene, etc). I have to say my puppy was better trained in every aspect when she returned home. In the end, May still gave us a document with tips for training. May was also very accommodating with late booking modifications which I cant thank enough! It was a fantastic experience and I plan to repeat it!”

About: I've grown up with all breeds of dogs from springers to Shiba Inus. My first job as a teenager was walking my neighbour's dogs. I currently have my own 3 year old springer fur-baby who is dog-friendly. With having a springer, I have worked trainers and behaviourists so am clued up on training and behavioural issues. I have also fostered for a spaniel charity so have experience with reactive and anxious dogs. I currently work full-time so have weekends available. However, I work remotely and having some flexibility so can pick boarders up during the day if needed before an overnight stay. I have a walled, grass garden with secure padlocked gate. Dogs have free range of the downstairs and have crate available if needed. WIth having a resident dog, the house is "dog-proofed", with high risk foods stored away. I live on a quiet estate away from busy traffic.

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and I am hoping to work with animals as a full time job in the future. I am currently studying Animal Management at college and am hoping to go to university next year to study Veterinary Physiotherapy, so that I can achieve my dream of helping animals. I have previous work experience at the RSPCA looking after a range of dog breeds, including larger breeds like Huskies and Cane Corsos as well as small breeds like Chihuahuas and Terriers. During this experience, I have helped to walk dogs, clean out kennels, feed and play with dogs. I have also gained experience working with cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals at the RSPCA. I currently have a dog, who is a springer spaniel x poodle called Doodle, and a cat, called Pancake. I spend much of my free time taking Doodle on walks and playing and cuddling with her and Pancake whenever they want to. I have also on many occasions looked after pets of friends and family, including labradors, spaniels, jack russells, beagles, cats and rabbits. I am currently a student and am at college 3 days per week. I typically have full availability on weekends and am usually free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as most evenings. The safety of your pets will always be my number one priority and I will ensure that I keep an eye on them so that they are safe and happy. I will listen to, follow and respect any rules or boundaries that you have when looking after your pets to keep both you and your pets happy and comfortable.

About: I've had many cats since I was a child including - a kitten that was born next door, a very timid rescue from Woodgreen, and a stray that we found on the side of the road. As an autistic child, I always found myself gravitating towards animals more than humans. They calm me and comfort me, and in return I try to make their lives as enjoyable and carefree as possible.

“Our one year old cocker Frank recently spent a a couple of days with Claire & Ross. Frank tends to suffer from separation anxiety, however he very happily goes to Claire & Ross. We find Claire & Ross to be terrific hosts! Claire is soft & calm & Ross is jolly & commanding and very chilled, a great combination for looking after a lively anxious young dog. Ross took Frank on long walks along with his own dog & Frank had the run of the house which helped to make him feel and at home, so much better than kennels. I would definitely recommend Claire & Ross, in my opinion you won’t find better dog sitters!”
About: I grew up with dogs. My parents managed a very successful boarding establishment which I worked in regularly and we always had dogs of our own: Rhodesian ridgebacks, rescue greyhounds, dachshunds to name a few. I've regularly looked after other people's dogs and have never had any complaints. My husband and I have a beautiful little jack russell whom we adore. My husband works from home, so is home all day to ensure that your dogs have company and I'll take responsibility for feeding and any medication required. While I work approximately 38 weeks a year, my husband works from home full time and is available to keep your pet company throughout the day. My mother, who worked with dogs for 55 years prior to retiring, also visits us regularly and is happy to help out with any dogs staying. We love heading out walks; dog walking is already part of our daily routine, with longer walks and adventures being a favourite weekend hobby. Check that they can't jump the tall fence in the garden, or are likely to dig underneath it. Lots of play time interacting with us and our jack russell, Maple. Feeding time(s) as per owners' requests. Medication administered as required. Plenty of opportunities to do the toilet (both in the garden and on walks)

About: We have both grown up with dogs that we have trained, lived and recently lost. We can work from home or have a dog-friendly office if owners are comfortable with that My partner works as a nurse so is home some days during the week. I can WFH whenever needed and also have a dog-friendly office. While we do have the odd weekly hobby, we are mostly only out for an hour or 2 and typically one of us is in the house at any time. We have a fully fenced garden and live in a lovely countryside village which is perfect to take dogs for a walk. We do have a small cat who we are gradually introducing to dogs, so we do ask that your dog is cat friendly. Right now we have no stair gate so the dog will have full roam of the house.

I grew up with a labrador and (together with my wife and daughter) have been the proud owner of Sam, our (now almost) 7 year old cockapoo. Sam is very friendly, loves nothing more than chasing a tennis ball and cuddling on the settee with a blanket. I work from home and enjoy going for daily walks with Sam around the village and nearby Country Park, so your pet will have plenty of company and exercise during their stay. Your dog will also have full access to our enclosed rear garden, with plenty of space to play, and free access to the downstairs of the house. I am available for day care and boarding in our home, during the week and on most weekends. About: Myself and my partner (Henry) have a number of years experience of looking after dogs. We have attended training courses and looked after other people’s dogs for a number of years. We lost our beloved Shih Tzu in 2024 💕🐶🪽and are currently in-between dogs. So Rover has been a lovely way to meet new four legged friends. About: I have ten years experience working in a veterinary practice in London as an assistant/ receptionist. I am also experienced in medicating pets when necessary. I charge £30.00 if staying over for one night, otherwise usual rates apply. Due to working different shift patterns I would be at home mornings and evenings and days off and also during annual leave . I work alternate weekends but can book annual leave with enough notice and can house sit. I am available to look after pets in their own home. I find this less upsetting for your pet. They are more comfortable in their own surroundings.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a child. Grew up with a small Westie and love her to pieces. She’s 15 now and lives with my dad in Spain and I miss her masses. I would love to get a dog but the situation just isn’t quite right with work at the moment and it wouldn’t be fair on the puppy. So going for the next best thing and looking after other peoples dogs instead! Love the outdoors and enjoy long walks so taking a dog out would only make it more meaningful. My unwavering love for dogs and dedication to their well-being have propelled me to pursue additional training and education in this field. I have successfully completed a Pet CPR and First Aid course and am currently pursuing a diploma in Pet Psychology. About: I’ve taken care of any sort of animals since i was 16, neighbours, friends and family have all relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their loved pet i currently don’t work at the minute so this would be my only job, so i’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups, i’m available any day of the week i have a very big garden where your pups can play, unfortunately my garden isn’t fenced so if there’s a chance your pups can escape when i take them outside i’ll take them using a collar, i have one very friendly pup who loves to play
About: I have over 15 years experience looking after other people’s pets aswell as my own. I am pet first aid trained aswell as having full insurance and DBS checked. Eleanor didn't seem at all put off when he barked loudly at her arriving. This helped me feel confident that she could handle him if he did end up being reactive on a walk. Gus came back happy having used up his energy ready for a long nap. From the pictures she uploaded to rover he looks like he had a great time! I would highly recommend using Eleanor for dog walking/sitting and plan on using her services again in the future :)”
About: I grew up with a dog in the family and enjoyed taking care and spending time with dogs ever since. I have experience looking after dogs with different personalities and needs, and I always treat them as my own. I also have a valid DBS certificate for extra peace of mind. I work from home so have some time to spend with pets. I can walk the dogs, play with them and feed them according to the schedule desired I live in a house and have a small garden where dogs can spend their time. “I had only good experiences in rover so far, and mostly gave 5 stars to every person that took care of my pets. May gave a different meaning to 5 stars! She took my puppy Lola and took care of her like it was her own, designed a schedule with activities and gave her the attention a puppy needs (playing, stimulating activities, hygiene, etc). I have to say my puppy was better trained in every aspect when she returned home. In the end, May still gave us a document with tips for training. May was also very accommodating with late booking modifications which I cant thank enough! It was a fantastic experience and I plan to repeat it!”
