“Julie had our pup Hugo for a long weekend, and he came back so happy and relaxed. She kept us updated with wonderful photos and notes about what he had been up to that made us feel so comfortable and put our minds at ease. Hugo enjoyed long walks and exciting excursions and it was evident that he was genuinely comfortable with Julie and her family. We're thrilled with the care and attention Julie provided and can't wait to use her services again in the future. Hugo had a pawsitively wonderful time thanks to Julie!”

“Janet had a lovely home to take care of Lobo in. She was relaxed and friendly and Lobo who can be nervous when we leave her, was happy to be there. Janet took her plenty walks and took good care of her. Would definitely use Janet again.”

“Another great stay with Maria! Nala has stayed with her several times now, and she’s so excited when we get to the front door! Maria took great care of her in the hot weather, and it was obvious she'd had lots of fun. Thank you 💕”

“Jan & Bruce are brilliant, very caring and made sure my dog Ted was happy and safe. He had a lovely time with them, lots of walks and games in their garden, and snoozing on the sofa. Great communication and updates on how Ted was - we will definitely be back to see them again soon! Thanks J&B!”

“We’re so thankful for Claire and Ross and Syd! Nalu had the best time with them and was well and tired when she came home from so much fun! They gave us updates and pictures each day which we loved. We will definitely be booking with them again soon!”

“Sewwandi did such a great job with Bevo. They sent several pictures & videos and she communicated a lot with us providing updates throughout the day. Bevo didn’t have time to miss us between the walks and play time with their sweet little Boston, Poppy. They sent a few updates that let us know they were treating Bevo like she was their own. A week or so after her stay, we bumped into Sewwandi on a walk and Bevo lost her mind she was so excited to see her! I would recommend Sewwandi to anyone looking for a Rover!”

“Golnar provided a wonderful example of how a dog sitter should be Golnar provided several daily updates about my dogs and I felt happy for them to be looked after by her I cannot thank her enough”

“Barra had a wonderful long weekend break with May - full of walks, playtime, and downtime as appropriate. She also learned some great new behaviours from May, such as how to sit at the curbside and the 'touch' tip. As a new and protective dog owner of an 8 month old, I had complete faith in May and could see how happy and well looked after Barra had been when I came to pick her up. I also learned some new skills in looking after Barra myself. May (Ping Yan L.) is a calm and compassionate person and her love of dogs and care for them shines through. I was able to enjoy my weekend away with complete peace of mind. May also sent me messages, photos and videos of how Barra was doing. I only go to Cambridge every few months but know that Barra now has a real companion there and very much look forward to booking May again.”

“Alix was wonderful with my elderly dog! Whole booking process was smooth and she kept me updated constantly during my trip away. We are definitely staying again!”

“Elsa had a wonderful visit with Fern. It was her first stay away from home and she came back happy and tuckered out. Fern kept in touch with pics and info about Elsa and I could see what a good time she was having. I couldn't have been happier. Fern clearly understands and loves dogs. I would definitely book with Fern again!”

“Wonderful family to look after your dog! We Had lots of updates and our dog Terry made himself at home with Sarah and family very quickly! In fact I’m pretty sure he copped a strop when we bought him home because hes been missing his little friend Rudi. Thank you so much for having him, would definitely recommend and would definitely use again 🙂”

“Suey and her partner gave a loving home and a fun company to Chase. They were happy to have an introductory meeting before the actual date and kept me updated very well with messages and lots of photos. I’m sure Chase enjoyed his time with them and we will come back again if they will be available. Thank you, guys! ☺️”

“Wade and Michelle took amazing care of our very nervous and quite high maintenance dog, Cookie. They very kindly met Cookie in advance, and during the stay sent regular updates and photos of them on walks and snuggling on the sofa. They are a lovely family and we will be using them again.”

“Lijo and his family were great. They watched Lola and Nalu for us ad Lond administered Nalu’s medicine and eye drops as she scratched her eye unexpectedly two days before boarding. They kept us up to date with photos and videos during the pups’ stay. We are grateful for their care of our doggies! Thank you again!”

“Jane has honestly been the best. Her response was very quick and kept us updated throughout the day. She sent regular photo and video updates, which my husband and I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease knowing my Kuma was in good hands.”

“Lauren looked after our beautiful but cheeky cat, Pixie, for a weekend, and she was absolutely brilliant. She even came by beforehand to meet Pixie, which we really appreciated. During the stay, we received photo updates and little stories that showed just how much Lauren loves animals. Impressively, she seemed to understand Pixie’s personality within just 24 hours. We felt completely at ease knowing Pixie was in such caring hands. I would definitely recommend Lauren!”

About: I have been an animal lover my entire life and I am hoping to work with animals as a full time job in the future. I recently completed my level 3 Animal Management qualification at college and am going to be starting university in September to study Veterinary Physiotherapy, so that I can achieve my dream of helping animals. I have previous work experience at the RSPCA looking after a range of dog breeds, including larger breeds like Huskies and Cane Corsos as well as small breeds like Chihuahuas and Terriers. During this experience, I have helped to walk dogs, clean out kennels, feed and play with dogs. I have also gained experience working with cats, rabbits, birds and other small animals at the RSPCA. I currently have a dog, who is a springer spaniel x poodle called Doodle, and a cat, called Pancake. I spend much of my free time taking Doodle on walks and playing and cuddling with her and Pancake whenever they want to. I have also on many occasions looked after pets of friends and family, including labradors, spaniels, jack russells, beagles, cats and rabbits. I am currently a student and am at college 3 days per week. I typically have full availability on weekends and am usually free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as most evenings. The safety of your pets will always be my number one priority and I will ensure that I keep an eye on them so that they are safe and happy. I will listen to, follow and respect any rules or boundaries that you have when looking after your pets to keep both you and your pets happy and comfortable.

About: I've grown up with all breeds of dogs from springers to Shiba Inus. My first job as a teenager was walking my neighbour's dogs. I currently have my own 3 year old springer fur-baby who is dog-friendly. With having a springer, I have worked trainers and behaviourists so am clued up on training and behavioural issues. I have also fostered for a spaniel charity so have experience with reactive and anxious dogs. I currently work full-time so have weekends available. However, I work remotely and having some flexibility so can pick boarders up during the day if needed before an overnight stay. I have a walled, grass garden with secure padlocked gate. Dogs have free range of the downstairs and have crate available if needed. WIth having a resident dog, the house is "dog-proofed", with high risk foods stored away. I live on a quiet estate away from busy traffic.

I am flexible in terms of drop off and pick up and I can walk the dog twice a day I have a big house with a fenced garden that your pet can run around and play in. Our village is very quiet and safe

“My cat, Phoebe has clearly loved having Fiona’s company while I was away. She was very content and relaxed when I got back. Fiona is so easy to get on with, professional and caring. She sent photos of my cat to keep my mind at rest while I was away and even bought more treats for her! I am very grateful and would highly recommend Fiona.”

“Darcy was amazing. Came round and met our dog ahead of the visit which was great. She dropped in on him whilst we were out and looked after him amazingly. Loved to see the photos she provided of him having fun with the ball. Highly recommend and will be booking again in the future .”

About: I grew up with dogs. My parents managed a very successful boarding establishment which I worked in regularly and we always had dogs of our own: Rhodesian ridgebacks, rescue greyhounds, dachshunds to name a few. I've regularly looked after other people's dogs and have never had any complaints. My husband and I have a beautiful little jack russell whom we adore. My husband works from home, so is home all day to ensure that your dogs have company and I'll take responsibility for feeding and any medication required. While I work approximately 38 weeks a year, my husband works from home full time and is available to keep your pet company throughout the day. My mother, who worked with dogs for 55 years prior to retiring, also visits us regularly and is happy to help out with any dogs staying. We love heading out walks; dog walking is already part of our daily routine, with longer walks and adventures being a favourite weekend hobby. Check that they can't jump the tall fence in the garden, or are likely to dig underneath it. Lots of play time interacting with us and our jack russell, Maple. Feeding time(s) as per owners' requests. Medication administered as required. Plenty of opportunities to do the toilet (both in the garden and on walks)
“Koda had no problem bonding with Wasana, her husband and their friendly pup Poppy. I greatly appreciate all the updates/photos, I could tell Koda had a blast! I would definitely recommend Wasana as a puppy sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Koda”

“When Maria opened the door Florence greeted her in the same bouncy exuberant way she would if we returned home or if our closest family visited - this was perfect reassurance how well she is looked after in Maria's care. Maria is someone we've learned is genuine and caring, and we highly recommend her to anyone who might be worried about finding the perfect person to entrust caring for your precious canine friend.”

“Our one year old cocker Frank recently spent a a couple of days with Claire & Ross. Frank tends to suffer from separation anxiety, however he very happily goes to Claire & Ross. We find Claire & Ross to be terrific hosts! Claire is soft & calm & Ross is jolly & commanding and very chilled, a great combination for looking after a lively anxious young dog. Ross took Frank on long walks along with his own dog & Frank had the run of the house which helped to make him feel and at home, so much better than kennels. I would definitely recommend Claire & Ross, in my opinion you won’t find better dog sitters!”

“Laura was so kind and accommodating. She met me before hand to make sure our dogs were a good fit, and we were able to take a walk together. On the day she watched my dog she was so flexible and kind. I arrived to pick up my dog late in the evening, much later than I really should have, but Laura was nothing but sweet. My dog seems well rested and calm, like she had a great evening. I will 100% be using Laura's dog sitting services again!”

“It’s obvious Sharon is a natural with dogs and very easy to talk to. This was Milo’s first time for day care with Sharon and she kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and messages. He had a lovely walk by the river. Milo must have felt at home as he actually ate all his dinner which he won’t always do when we’re not around. Would highly recommend and have no hesitation booking again. Thank you Sharon.”

“Paul has been absolutely fantastic. He looked after our Gus very well. He sent constant updates and Gus had an amazing time. Paul definitely knows how to look after dogs. We will book him again for sure.”

“Ricci was able to watch our pups after another sitter fell through. He was so easy to coordinate with and the dogs came home super happy and tired!! Would absolutely recommend!”

I grew up with a labrador and (together with my wife and daughter) have been the proud owner of Sam, our (now almost) 7 year old cockapoo. About: I love dogs and cats, they love me in return. They contribute to my mental health. I've always been surrounded with pets. I've recently lost my best friend, Falco, you can see him on most of the pictures. I'm still grieving him so I wouldn't be able to get another dog. But I still need to be in contact with pets, hence this profile. I don't have many reviews because I created this profile a month before adopting Falco and I'm only coming back to the UK in July! I like to believe Falco had the best life, we lived in England and France together, our bond was magical. He was part of my everyday life, I've chosen my job so that I would have a lot of free time to take care of him and go on long walks. He was part of every plan : going to the café, going on holidays, going to parties, he lived them all. You can count on me to take good care of your loved ones. I am a teacher, so I have a lot of free time. I've chosen to do this job to spend most of my time with my best friend Falco, he died six months ago. I usually work 8 to 4 but not every day and I have a lot of holidays! I would never give less than 4 walks a day to a dog, with at least 2 long walks (unless asked differently). I live in a 45m² one bedroom flat in a quiet village. There's a park literally in front of the house, and a forest next to it. The river is close, I have a car. We're going to have so much fun!
About: We have both grown up with dogs that we have trained, lived and recently lost. We can work from home or have a dog-friendly office if owners are comfortable with that My partner works as a nurse so is home some days during the week. I can WFH whenever needed and also have a dog-friendly office. While we do have the odd weekly hobby, we are mostly only out for an hour or 2 and typically one of us is in the house at any time. We have a fully fenced garden and live in a lovely countryside village which is perfect to take dogs for a walk. We do have a small cat who we are gradually introducing to dogs, so we do ask that your dog is cat friendly. Right now we have no stair gate so the dog will have full roam of the house.

“Lauren a a great dog walker. She is reliable, friendly, trustworthy and moreover patient with our dog Skye. Skye is nervous and it’s a testament to Lauren’s perseverance that Skye is trusting of her. Lauren made a real effort to befriend Skye, at first just playing with her in the garden to build a bond and strengthen Skye’s confidence. We highly recommend Lauren and she is our primary port of call when it comes to dog walking and care. We will definitely continue to use her services in the future.”

About: Hi-There Pet-Parents! If you're searching for a reliable dog walker, who is dedicated to providing exceptional care and affection to your furry family members, look no further! I am fully insured and offering 1to1 dog walking services in your area through Rover. I don't have a dog currently. Earlier this year, I had to say goodbye to my large, fluffy, 11 year old German Shepherd. I love all canines big and small. I've been walking dogs for friends and neighbours since I was school age, but a dog owner myself for 14 years. During that time I attended dog training classes with my own dog, and so can relate to the frustrations and joys of puppy owners! This year I became a volunteer dog walker for The Cinnamon Trust, and through this, I have been matched locally, with a lovely black lab and her owner. I am loving our walks together! I am happy to do dog walking, letting dogs out in their garden, cat feeding/letting out etc. This can be on an adhoc or more regular basis. (Please note I am unable to offer day-care/boarding at my home). I provide petcare services to people, alongside my part time job. I work from home with flexible hours, so I can fit the petcare around that role. An excited puppy face is a welcome break from spreadsheets! I have been a pet owner for over a decade, but been caring from friends and neighbours pets since i was school age. I am a trusted individual, DBS checked with public liability insurance in place.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a child. Grew up with a small Westie and love her to pieces. She’s 15 now and lives with my dad in Spain and I miss her masses. I would love to get a dog but the situation just isn’t quite right with work at the moment and it wouldn’t be fair on the puppy. So going for the next best thing and looking after other peoples dogs instead! Love the outdoors and enjoy long walks so taking a dog out would only make it more meaningful. Happy to help during weekends when I am available. Otherwise I work full time in the week. But work from home occasionally so may be able to assist here and there… I currently have a fenced garden and a modest two bedroom house. I would always want to interact with your woofer and keep them entertained. Lots of walks and play time

About: I have over 15 years experience looking after other people’s pets aswell as my own. I am pet first aid trained aswell as having full insurance and DBS checked. I currently run my own pet sitting & dog walking business and have regular dog walking clients so all my walks / pet sitting services will fit around that. I look after pets within their own home to ensure they are comfortable and familiar with their environment. I also ensure I meet the pets and their owners before starting any walking or pet sitting services.
“Anna was great with Bailey, always on time to take him for a walk, greeted by a very excited doggo, ready to go for his walk. Anna was flexible when I needed to change his walk times and I always got a full report with pics after each walk. Would recommend Anna for dog walking.”

“Jane has honestly been the best. Her response was very quick and kept us updated throughout the day. She sent regular photo and video updates, which my husband and I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease knowing my Kuma was in good hands.”

“Ricci was amazing at taking care of our cat, Cosmere. She liked him immediately (we could tell from the photos and videos Ricci sent!!) We always felt cosmere was in great hands. Ricci was quick to answer messages and sent us updates, pictures and videos everyday. We will definitely contact him to take care of cosmere again! Thank you ricci”

“This was Digbys first stay with Stephen and it all went really well. Initially Digby was a bit anxious and unsettled but soon settled in and Stephen kept me well informed and updated. Digby really enjoyed the company of Stephen’s Cockerpoo Sam. I felt reassured throughout that Digby was in safe hands and I’m sure I’ll be booking him again soon.”

“Alice was absolutely wonderful! She was very quick to respond to all messages, and even accepted our last minute boarding request. Our dog can be a little nervous and shy, but she warmed up to Alice very quickly. Alice also sent lots of photos and videos, which was very much appreciated.”

“Rocío is our go to dog sitter for long stays this is the second time Rocío has helped look after Moose for more than a 3 week stay now! Very grateful for he flexibility on the drop off time this time around as we had some last minute scheduling changes by the airline. Rocío gets to know the pets under her care very well, and Moose gets to make some friends during his stay! Appreciate the regular updates and ‘photos and great comfort to know Moose in good hands when we are away.”

“Herbert absolutely loves going to stay with Bibiana. It's a very happy home and he is looked after beautifully. They really know dogs. We're lucky to have found them to be honest.”
“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!! From our initial meeting, it was obvious Ludo loved her, which immediately put me at ease. She has so much experience with animals, both professionally and personally, and it really shows. I received regular updates throughout the weekend, so I never had to worry. I actually felt a bit guilty picking him up because he was clearly having such a great time!😂 I will certainly be booking with her again and would highly recommend Wendy ☺️”

“Absolutely perfect, from the meet and greet to the professional yet warm nature of the communications. Derek has had THE Best time with Carmen and Luna, we’re already looking to book his next holiday! Thank you so so much for taking great care of our Boy.”
