About: My family and I have fostered 10 dogs over the last 6 years. We have had dogs of all ages, sizes and difficulties. This has given me love for, and confidence around any and all types of dogs I am currently staying in Bournemouth for the summer after the past year at university. This means I am available during the week and weekends at all times of the day I am a safety conscious person and will do everything possible to provide the best care and environment for your dog and your home so you can feel comfortable and secure with your pet in my care

About: We have both grown up with various pets in our lives of all shapes and sizes from hamsters and guinea pigs to cats and dogs. We regularly help out our parents with their 5 big rescue dogs of all different ages and personalities. We are very comfortable with walking, feeding and bathing all breeds of cats and dogs. My husband David and I both work remotely with flexible hours, so between us we are available any time 7 days a week to look after your furry friends. We will adhere to any safety rules you have in your home as this is our main priority. Please advise on special dietary/feeding requirements when making contact.

About: I have always had dogs in the family growing up. When I was a toddler and small child, my family had Mutley, a rescue spaniel, who was also known as Houdini! Following his passing, we had a small terrier, Alfie, who lived until he was 18! Then, at the turn of 2020, I rescued two Greek street dogs, Buddy and Bea, with my sister - they’re now 5 years old. Buddy and Bea often spend time with my parents who have vowed they don’t want another dog.. but love Buds & Bea! We had Alfie from a puppy and I was involved with his training with my father. Buddy and Bea were about 6 months old when they made their way to the UK. With my sister, I trained them at home in the garden - this was both toilet training and tricks! I work full time but predominantly from home, going into the office once or twice a week depending on what I have on. This means I have lots of time at home with the dogs and can take them out morning, lunch and noon. Generally, I play netball on a Saturday and Sunday but this only requires me to be out of the house for a few hours. So, those who have an animal staying with us, they must be ok being left alone for a couple of hours at a time. I have a totally enclosed and fenced garden with no escape route! This was essential as Bea often likes to find a way out! Whilst looking after your fur baby, I’d have Buddy and Bea stay with my parents so that your pet has my sole attention and focus. We have space to bring a crate if that’s preferred and we can discuss any sleeping arrangements which work for your little one.

About: I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. With a strong background in animal health and wellbeing, I’m confident in administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing attentive, compassionate care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Your pets will be treated like family—kept safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I work Monday-Friday and am available on weekends, mornings and evenings during the week and can stay overnight in your home. I’m happy to walk dogs if we can discuss timings in advance around my current responsibilities. I don’t bring cats or dogs into my home as I have my own pets but happy to look after small animals in my home. Im happy to stay at your home.

About: I have many years of experience caring for and walking dogs, including owning Jack Russells for a long time. I’m confident handling energetic dogs, understand the importance of exercise and routine, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Pet care fits easily around my schedule as I work weekdays from 10am to 2pm, meaning I’m available for morning walks, afternoon visits, and flexible bookings outside these hours, including evenings and weekends. In my home, pets are cared for in a safe and calm environment with a fully fenced garden for secure outdoor time. I currently have an older Jack Russell who is very chilled and used to being around other dogs, helping create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for any pets staying or visiting.

About: Having grown up with dogs and small animals, I am very capable of caring for them and dealing with complex behaviours. When I started dog sitting in my teens I was looking after friends and family’s pets. Since then I have accrued a great deal of experience working with new people and their pets. I am very adaptable! As a recent university graduate I am currently working as a barista during my gap year. I regularly have free evenings and with enough notice I can be available for an entire weekend/weekday day. I am anticipating a lot of availability from July onwards this summer. For more independent pets, I am able to visit between shifts and stay overnight and require minimal advanced notice. I am a very vigilant person so I am always hyper-aware of your pet’s wellbeing and whereabouts. My experience with dogs has lead me to develop fast reaction times to situations such as a dog eating something that’s not allowed.

About: I started my own little petsitting business from the age of 10, when I walked dogs and looked after a large range of smaller pets in Cambridge. I have experience of injecting insulin in pets and im happy to learn other medical needs. I have a cat of my own who's previously lived with a dog, and I also have pet rats. Im currently working a 0 hour contract at a school, while caring for my parents. Therefor I'm more available in school holiday times and weekends. Some weekdays I have online appointments, so I can easily fit that around petsitting :) I can care for pets in thier own houses over the holidays, or I can care at my house for shorter periods. I have an enclosed gravel back garden and a grassy front garden. My house os a short walk from the park or the community centre, so I can easily take a dog out.

About: I have been caring for pets for 20+ years, including my own dog and looking after neighbours' and friends' dogs. I have experience with various breeds such as Chow Chows, Labradors, Jack Russell Terriers, Border Terriers, Cocker Spaniels, Dachshunds, English Bulldogs, Shih Tzu mixes, and Romanian rescues. I have trained my own puppy and am comfortable administering medication. I can handle multiple pets and have dealt with challenging behaviours, including helping my reactive rescue dog overcome her fears. While I don't have specific experience with special needs pets, my adaptability as a teacher allows me to provide excellent care. I can provide references from previous pet owners I have cared for. I have recently returned to work as a full-time teacher at a school in Girton. Therefore, I will not be at home during the day. However, I am still offering sitting services in the evenings and on weekends. Additionally, if you are comfortable with it, I am happy to have your pet stay at my house during the day. During the school holidays I will be able to stay at yours or have your pet at mine, where I will be at home during the day. During term time, you live somewhere with easy access to Girton, I am happy to house sit then too. I work full time, leaving for work at 7am but I do have a bit of time in the mornings. I also finish at 4pm so I also have time after work during the week. My weekends are quite free so I’d be more than happy to help out then, too! Additionally, I am more than happy to look after your furry friends during the school holidays. I ensure that the home is pet-proofed and secure, minimising any potential hazards. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication, maintaining their routine as closely as possible. I provide plenty of love, attention, and playtime to keep the pets happy and engaged. Additionally, I maintain open communication with the pet owner, providing regular updates and photos to give them peace of mind. We have a wonderful large garden which is secure as well as plenty of fantastic walking routes from our front door!

About: I am a patient, caring and experienced sitter and dog walker. I will look after your dog/dogs as if they were my own. I can do some light training with them, including confidence building. I am able to administer medication and I will provide lots of walks, play and cuddles. I spent three and a half years working at a local animal rescue, looking after the stray dogs. After that, I worked at a local doggy daycare for two and a half years. I then worked at a local dog groomers and now just do boarding and walking. I have taken a doggy first aid course and have plenty of experience and am confident walking and caring for reactive and nervous dogs. I have also taken care of, and fostered, dogs with separation anxiety. DBS checked, Licenced (AW107) and insured. I am a full time dog boarder and dog walker so I am about most of the time. Dogs will get plenty of walks and playtime with me and my friendly Chihuahua. Dogs in my care will be treated like my own and allowed on sofas and in bed with me at night if need be! My garden is fully enclosed with six foot fences.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I have taken care of dogs with disabilities and behavior issues. And I am currently studying zoology because I am a huge animal lover. I am currently a full-time student and I have the summer off. So I will be available for pet care all day if I am needed. I have my own dog who is 7 years old. I treat every animal as if they were my own. I have water, and treats with me when out for walks.

About: I am a new graduate vet who studied veterinary medicine at Cambridge University hence have had a significant amount of practice dealing and caring for our furry friends. I also owned a large breed dog (great dane) for 11 years so have had good practice in handling larger breeds. My course allows me to judge animal behaviour more accurately so I can tell how comfortable your pet is in my presence and adapt accordingly. I am also confident handling cats. My household is smoke free, I have a large breed dog so only board dogs friendly with other dogs, but ideally prefer to house sit :)) . I live near numerous parks and a meadow so there's plenty of space for your pooches to explore on their walks! Looking forward to meeting your lovely pets! I do not work Tuesdays or weekends. The remainder of time I offer to take your pet to work with my where they will get ample cuddles from myself and all the lovely nurses! I usually stay in with any dogs I look after at all times unless to take your furry friend out for a walk/trip to ensure they are attended to at all times

When I take dogs out for walks I try to go to different places to keep thfm stimulated. I’m very physically for so I’m happy to be out on longer walks if needed or preferred. I work from home on a part time basis so pet care can fit around my schedule. I wouldn’t have any reason to leave a pet alone while in my care. I often offer dog boarding services. My home is modern with a large spacious garden that is contained and hazard-free. I often leave the back door open so dogs can come in and out as they please. When I have pets overnight, I am flexible about where they can sleep depending on what they are used to at home.

About: We grew up with a variety of pets :- dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, fish, parrots, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils - to name but a few!
