Safety, trust & environment
I am living in the Univeristy of Cambridge compound, beautiful and prestigious complex of Knights Park, with a lot of open space for dogs to run around in a clean and stress-free dog friendly environment. No matter how well behaved dogs are, I always put safety first by having the dog on standard leash or long leash to ensure safety. I also care for safe dog socialization when meeting another dog(s) in dog park, observing your fury friends' body language respecting his/her choice.

Information Ping Yan L. would like to know about your pet
It shall be important to let me know in advance if your fury companion has a special behavior (such as sensitive to other dogs or small children) or food allergies so I can pay attention to work with.
A typical day
On the first day I will ensure your fury friend settle down comfortably by engaging different scientifically discovered games (such Give Me A Break Game), instead of cuddling (only when trust has been built otherwise it might in many cases just casue more stress). Then follow with consistent schedules of feeding, walking, sniffing, gaming, and playing to achieve physical and mental stimulations. I usually bring treats dogs consider as high-vlaue to provide a lot of positive reinforcement for achieving desired behavior, developing a happy and confident dogs. While I always stay alert of environmental awareness to ensure safe and injury free activities.

Pet care experience
For the entire past one year in 2025, I focused on training an 8-month golden retriever puppy as a Service Dog. After a 12-month board and train program, the golden retriever successfully graduated as a Service Dog on duty. I am now ready to receive new dogs to care for. Respecting animal right, psychology, and their well-being, I have 30 years of experience in caring for dogs, cats, birds, fishes, and turtle. To bring my passion of caring and respecting for animal to another level and strengthen my knowledge to a professional level, I completed a 2-year dog behavior, basic obedience and behavior modification, task foundation behavior, and task training program in the US and became a Certified Dog Trainer (ABCDT) and Certified Service Dog Trainer (ABCSDT). I also obtained PET CPR and First Aid Certification. It is a commitment to keeping dogs/animals safe from injurious handling and stressful training methods, I emphasis on research and scientific based approach, the understanding of neuropsychology and psychology of learning, dog body language understanding, a structural and tactical behavior modification plan, positive reinforcement (force/stress free, reward-based), and fun training/caring philosophies, including using the least invasive minimally aversive (LIMA) handling techniques. You will be assured your fury companions are in my professional hand, maintaining physical and emotional equilibrium, during the time you are away.
Reviews

May took extraordinary care of our labrador Marla. We received daily updates and pictures and videos which meant we did not need to worry about Marla at all and we knew she was well taken care of. May really went the extra mile and made sure Marla had lots of fun things to do and healthy treats to enjoy. May is very knowledgeable about dogs and how to care for them. We know Marla had just the best time. Thank you!

Ping was an incredible host for our dog, she helped us learn a lot of good training tricks to improve his walking and greeting other people. We will definitely be working with her again and I truly feel like I am getting a deal when she looks after our dog! She also offered to do a meeting the day before boarding which was great to introduce ourselves and our dog, plus see her handling with him.

It was my first booking through Rover, but May was superb. She kept me updated on how Uno was doing the whole time he was with her, and he came back a very happy little dog. Thank you you very much, will book again for sure.

May was absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t recommend her more! She kept us up to date throughout and was evident the care and time she put in with our dog and how happy he was throughout as every video was wagging his tail. He came home happy and clean and it really made the whole experience nicer knowing he was happy while we were away. May is very attentive and sends regular updates and schedules throughout the day so you know what your dog is up to! Thank you May from all of us and Bertie, he can’t wait to come again!
