About: I have a lifetime of experience caring for both dogs and cats, including having pets of my own and working in a kennels for a year. This gave me hands-on experience caring for a variety of dogs, understanding their different personalities, routines and needs. I’m confident with feeding, walking, cleaning, providing enrichment, and making sure animals feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I understand that every pet is an individual, and I always take the time to build trust and make them feel at ease. After losing my own pets, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with animals and providing the same love, attention and companionship to other people’s pets I work part-time and also work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to offer pet care around my working hours. I’m available for lunchtime visits and walks, as well as after-work appointments, making it easier to fit around your pet’s routine. I understand how important consistency and companionship are for pets, and I’ll always make sure they receive plenty of attention, care and affection while you’re away. I am available anytime during the weekends an my days off. I provide care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I understand that keeping their normal routine is important, so I take the time to follow their usual feeding, walking and care schedule. During visits, I’ll provide companionship, playtime, feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I’ll respect their individual personalities and give them space if they need it while making sure they feel safe and cared for. I’ll always treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would give my own.

About: I have always had dogs and cats. I’m always told they are drawn to me, especially when I used to volunteer at my previously local rescue centre walking dogs. The staff at the rescue centre trusted me with dogs of all sizes and all personalities as I could figure out how to interact with the dog’s personality quickly. I’ve looked after my aunties cats when she would go away for a week or so. I’m friendly and have a flexible schedule. I am also SRUC trained in principles of animal care with a number of certifications. I am currently working part-time meaning I am quite flexible and am happy and ready to take up any opportunities looking after and walking your pets. I will ensure your pet is safe, happy and healthy in my care. They’ll be taken on walks, taken outside regularly to do what they need to do, I’ll of course follow any instructions provided about their routines or needs. I’ll ensure they are fed at the correct times and in the correct way.

About: We are a flexible little family that can cater for all your pet’s needs. Having been surrounded by dogs as kids, my wife (Amy) and I are eager to look after other people’s pets and get our two children to help us where they can! If it’s a long walk (or run), a warm loving home with a grassy garden or a safe and secure place for your doggy to stay overnight then look no further. We’re more than happy to do one offs or build up a relationship with you and your furry friend. We know that all dogs are different and will listen to your requirements and cater accordingly. We know that going away can be stressful for dog owners and dogs so we’ll make sure your dog is given plenty of attention and is safe at all times; we’ll even send you updates of their little adventure! There are lots of parks and country walks around Peterborough that we often go to as a family, all we need now is a dog! We joined Rover as having our own dog didn’t fit with our work patterns and we love the variety it provides. Who wouldn’t love looking after a different dog every weekend! We work split shifts so will be able to look after your dog any week day or weekend as per our schedule on this app. Safe and secure house with a fenced off garden. No other pets in the house so your pooch will be able to roam free around the house!

I love to walk in nature, so would be able to walk your dog in pretty places, with lots of stimulation :) I currently work from home, so always have time for animals in my care. I am also available at short notice and also at weekends. I have a fenced garden and secure house, so your pet will be safe with me. I dont have a dog crate, so you will need to provide this if required.

About: I've taken care of multiple dogs since I was small, with variations in size and breed. I have experience with energetic young mixed-breed dogs as well as older dogs with special medical needs. Nothing is too much to provide the care, affection, and training our furry friends require! New to official formal sitting, hence the "1 year". I'm a researcher and a writer working from home in the middle of Peterborough, so I can easily fit let care into my weekly and daily routines. My time is my own to organise, so if a pet needs full attention and care I can give them that, or if they just need company I can bring my work to them! When caring for a pet, that let becomes my main priority! At the moment I'm keen to provide care in the pet owner's home, or indeed outside. Details depend on the pet caring circumstances, but I'll maintain high standards of safety by building trust and maintaining a relationship with the pet and the pet owner.

I grew up surrounded by them, spent two years caring for other people's dogs around the Rushden area with my partner, and I've just made the biggest decision of my working life: I've walked away from a career managing big teams in busy warehouses because, hand on heart, I'd rather spend my days surrounded by dogs — giving them care, love and a proper home-from-home — than anything else. That's what Frisby's Dogs is. Not a kennel, not a cage in sight — just our home, opened up to your dog as one of our own. I keep numbers small and deliberately low so every dog gets real attention: proper walks (we're spoilt for green space around here), play, rest, and a comfy spot on the sofa. The heart of all this is Hera, our rescue from Romania. When she arrived, she spent three weeks hiding under the sofa, terrified of everything. Today she sleeps in our bed, is fully house-trained, happy off-lead, knows a stack of tricks, and is full of beans! Rehabilitating her taught me real patience and a feel for nervous, rescue, or just plain quirky dogs — so if yours is a little anxious or particular, they're in exactly the right hands. I'm available and flexible throughout the day, which means a routine built around your dog rather than squeezed into my diary. Day care drop-off is usually 7–9am with collection 5–6pm, and walks are arranged flexibly to suit your dog. My partner works from home regularly too, so there's always someone about. Your dog is cared for in our home — a calm, adult-only house in Hampton with a fully enclosed, secure rear garden that's checked every day. No cages, no kennels: dogs have free roam of the ground floor and garden, with constant supervision and deliberately small numbers so nothing gets missed. Every dog meets me and Hera on a relaxed intro walk before any booking, so I know they'll be happy and safe in the group — and Hera's often the one who helps a nervous newcomer come out of their shell. It's a non-smoking home, there are no children, and I'm fully insured (public liability and care, custody & control). Vaccinations and flea/worm treatment are required for everyone's safety, and I keep a canine first-aid kit to hand. Whether your dog's a confident social butterfly or a shy rescue who needs patience, they're treated exactly like one of our own.
