“Jakub and his family were amazing from start to finish. He kept me updated as to how Bella was getting on and sent photos of her (having a lot of fun!) She has returned to us happy and well cared for. We used to put her in kennels when we went away, but having met Jakub and his family and seen how well that looked after our pup, we will only use Jakub in the future.”

“This was our first and definitely not our last experience of booking a sitter. After the initial communication we arranged a visit to ensure Bonnie would feel happy to stay away for the night. The sitters were friendly, attentive and showed a great love for dogs. We would definitely recommend anyone to book and would have no concerns to have Bonnie stay here again. Thank you for taking good care of Bonnie while we went to watch Oasis.”

“Evellin is great and clearly loves to be around dogs. Ernie settled in quickly, was walked daily and well cared for, and I could tell he enjoyed his holiday too! We had regular updates and a few pictures, which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended!”

“Ayesha was absolutely amazing. She stepped in and accepted our booking for a 2-night overnight stay with less than 24 hours’ notice after another sitter cancelled at the last minute, which was such a relief. Our dog has separation anxiety and usually struggles being left with new people, but from the moment we dropped him off it was clear he was in safe, caring hands. Even after a difficult first night, Ayesha handled everything so patiently and professionally, and he settled really well the following day. She kept us updated throughout with regular messages, videos, and photos, which really put our minds at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate sitter.”

I would definitely use again, thank you!”

About: Hi, I'm Toby — dogs have been the best part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, spent two years caring for other people's dogs around the Rushden area with my partner, and I've just made the biggest decision of my working life: I've walked away from a career managing big teams in busy warehouses because, hand on heart, I'd rather spend my days surrounded by dogs — giving them care, love and a proper home-from-home — than anything else. That's what Frisby's Dogs is. Not a kennel, not a cage in sight — just our home, opened up to your dog as one of our own. I keep numbers small and deliberately low so every dog gets real attention: proper walks (we're spoilt for green space around here), play, rest, and a comfy spot on the sofa. The heart of all this is Hera, our rescue from Romania. When she arrived, she spent three weeks hiding under the sofa, terrified of everything. Today she sleeps in our bed, is fully house-trained, happy off-lead, knows a stack of tricks, and is full of beans! Rehabilitating her taught me real patience and a feel for nervous, rescue, or just plain quirky dogs — so if yours is a little anxious or particular, they're in exactly the right hands. Hera's also a bit of a social magician: one of her best mates is a 60kg Rottweiler who won't play with any other dog on earth — but the second he sees Hera, he's zooming around like a puppy. It's mainly me looking after your dog day to day, with my partner Nadja — who loves the doggos every bit as much — working from home regularly and on hand to help. No kids, calm and settled, secure garden, brilliant walks on the doorstep. Your dog won't be "just another booking" here — they'll be part of the pack. Come join us! 🐾 Frisby's Dogs is my full-time focus now — so I'm not fitting your dog around a 9-to-5. I'm available and flexible throughout the day, which means a routine built around your dog rather than squeezed into my diary. Day care drop-off is usually 7–9am with collection 5–6pm, and walks are arranged flexibly to suit your dog. My partner works from home regularly too, so there's always someone about. Your dog is cared for in our home — a calm, adult-only house in Hampton with a fully enclosed, secure rear garden that's checked every day. No cages, no kennels: dogs have free roam of the ground floor and garden, with constant supervision and deliberately small numbers so nothing gets missed. Every dog meets me and Hera on a relaxed intro walk before any booking, so I know they'll be happy and safe in the group — and Hera's often the one who helps a nervous newcomer come out of their shell. It's a non-smoking home, there are no children, and I'm fully insured (public liability and care, custody & control). Vaccinations and flea/worm treatment are required for everyone's safety, and I keep a canine first-aid kit to hand. Whether your dog's a confident social butterfly or a shy rescue who needs patience, they're treated exactly like one of our own.

“Leyla was great with our cat while our family was away on a trip for 5 days. She looked after our cat and sent updates daily. We came back to a happy, well looked after cat. Absolutely recommend Leyla to anyone who is looking for a cat sitter.”

“Giulia is a fantastic cat sitter and took such good care of my boy. She followed all instructions, was very reliable, and provided me with a thorough update while I was away. Communication throughout was also superb. I can't recommend her enough and will definitely book her again in the future. Thanks a lot, Giulia!”

“Jessica is a lovely, kind-hearted lady who took fantastic care of my cat. She did everything I asked and always left everything clean and tidy after her visits. Even though my cat is usually shy with strangers, by the end he was waiting to greet Jessica at the door! During the heatwave, Jessica also made sure the house stayed cool and let my cat have a little supervised time outside. I highly recommend her – we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind. Thank you!”

“Christina was just wonderful! My boy absolutely adored her and she looked after him well. There was a little meet and greet visit before hand where she had gotten to know us both and the situation of Onyx being recently poorly. She provided such lovely photos and videos as well. This was very reassuring and made my time away easier knowing how my boy was and that he was well looked after. Thank you so much Christina, you have another repeat client here!! Xx”

“Nikki was brilliant. She send messages daily letting us know all was well. Nikki followed my advice and notes to ensure our cat wasn’t to out of sorts. On our return our cat seemed happy and relaxed so glad I chose ‘Cat in a Flat’ so that our cat could stay in her own home. Thank you so much Nikki. Definitely will book again ”

“We were anxious about leaving our 14 year old cat Flossie as we had not been away for many years. Zita came to visit for a meet beforehand and we were impressed and reassured immediately. We received reports and lovely pictures every day and could properly relax and enjoy our time away knowing Flossie was in very safe hands. Highly recommend Zita and will definitely book her again next time we go away. Thank you Zita so much.”

About: Cats have always had a very special place in my heart. I’ve shared my life with four wonderful cats, including one who was truly my world, and I understand the unique bond people have with their feline companions. I have experience caring for cats with different personalities and needs, from feeding and keeping routines to providing comfort, play, and companionship. I’ve also looked after other people’s cats both drops in and overnight stays and understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for them while you’re away. I know cats can be very individual, so I always take the time to let them come to me, respect their space, and make sure they feel safe, happy and loved.

About: I have loved and cared for cats since I was 7 years old and have many years of hands-on experience. I understand that every cat has its own personality and routine. I am happy to feed them, clean litter trays, play with them and make sure they feel safe, calm and comfortable while you are away.

“Elena was a fabulous pet sitter! She really got on with my cat and I loved all the updates she sent me while she was watching her. The pickup and drop-off service was very helpful and my cat returned to me happy, healthy, and at her best. Elena will definitely be on my shortlist of sitters for the next holiday I have.”

Communication was excellent, and she made us feel completely at ease knowing our pet was in such good hands. We would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. Thank you, Kayleigh!”

“The cats were so happy when we got home and have obviously been very well cared for by volha. Her regular messages and photos provided great reassurance as it was the first time we had left them, and were particularly appreciated by our 6 year old show as missing them!”

“Highly recommend! This was our second booking with Andrea, for our two week holiday. She is so lovely and was happy to come visit us and Figg before her first sitting - to make sure she was a good match. Figg ADORE’S her and settled in with her straight away. I swear she likes Andrea more than us already 😂 She sent plenty of photos and videos every single visit, so we felt very confident that Figg was happy and cared for. No complaints! Thanks Andrea!”

About: I've grown up with cats my entire life, largely thanks to my mother's deep love for them. My first was a Norwegian Forest Cat we adopted — he was wonderfully playful, a joy to care for, and very receptive to training, quickly becoming a beloved member of the family. When he sadly passed, we welcomed a black British Shorthair named Clio, who couldn't be more different — stubborn, sassy, and with a personality entirely her own. Yet we love her just as much, and caring for her has taught me just as much as any easy-going pet could. What this experience has given me is the ability to adapt. I'm just as comfortable handling an affectionate, sociable cat as I am earning the trust of a more independent or temperamental one. I understand that cats aren't one-size-fits-all — they each have their own quirks, boundaries, and ways of communicating, and I've learned to read and respect that from a very young age. Whether your cat is a cuddly lap cat or a "don't-even-look-at-me" diva, they'll be cared for with patience, understanding, and genuine affection. Your cat won't just be looked after — they'll be truly understood.

“Heidi was absolutely brilliant. She’s the perfect fit for our little Bing! I could never recommend her enough, I couldn’t have hoped for anyone better to look after Bing and our house while we were away🖤🖤”

“,Archie loved his stay with Kayleigh and her King Charles spaniel Bailey. It was great we could drop him early and pick up late due to our sons wedding day. Would definitely recommend and we would have no hesitation in using again.”

“We had a great experience with Cheddar’s doggy day care today with Ayesha. From the start, she kept us really well informed, sending lots of pictures and videos throughout the day which gave us real peace of mind that he was happy and settling in well. Cheddar looked so content in every update, and it was clear he was being well cared for and getting plenty of attention. The biggest sign of a successful day—he was completely exhausted and fast asleep the whole way home! We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Ayesha again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable and caring doggy day care.”

“Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the service Scott and Frasier provided. The videos of Penelope throughout the day showed the biggest smile on her face as she played in a safe and controlled environment. Scott was so good at communicating and knew all about different breeds behaviors and needs. Would happily recommend!”

“Today was lazers first day with Brett and as someone who's used the same day care for the last 7 years safe to say I was slightly nervous but it's been fantastic. First off Brett was very welcoming and engaging, gave me great confidence in his genuine love of dogs and caring for them. And today is great evidence of that, we got regular updates of our pooch living his best life and being so comfortable. Thank you so much! Definitely be bringing Lazer back”

“I had a great experience with Carla and Jim! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring pet care. From the start, they were incredibly friendly and approachable, which immediately put me at ease. They arranged a meet and greet beforehand, which was a really thoughtful touch and helped both me and my dog feel comfortable before the stay as it was my first time using Rover. During the time they were looking after my dog, they provided regular updates and photos, which was so reassuring and showed how well my dog was being cared for. It was clear that my dog was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. I really appreciated the level of care and communication throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Carla and Jim again and would definitely recommend them to other dog owners looking for someone trustworthy and kind to look after their pet! Thank you!”

About: I've taken care of multiple dogs since I was small, with variations in size and breed. I have experience with energetic young mixed-breed dogs as well as older dogs with special medical needs. Nothing is too much to provide the care, affection, and training our furry friends require! New to official formal sitting, hence the "1 year". I'm a researcher and a writer working from home in the middle of Peterborough, so I can easily fit let care into my weekly and daily routines. My time is my own to organise, so if a pet needs full attention and care I can give them that, or if they just need company I can bring my work to them! When caring for a pet, that let becomes my main priority! At the moment I'm keen to provide care in the pet owner's home, or indeed outside. Details depend on the pet caring circumstances, but I'll maintain high standards of safety by building trust and maintaining a relationship with the pet and the pet owner.
About: They say you can tell if somebody is a good person when animals feel safe in their presence... Well, not to blow my own trumpet, but... toot toot! Animals really do seem to love me :-) I think it's because they know that I love them back! I've previously had a dog of my own, and then inherited my mum's dog a few years ago, who I'd bought & trained for my mum in the first place. I trained him off-lead too before giving him to her, so I think he'd always seen me as his real mummy & maybe thought my mum was just his girlfriend, ha! I'm a firm believer in making sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time & exercise- having moved up to Peterborough from London, my dog was previously an apartment dog so was used to being walked at least 3 times a day, and we've continued that up here, even though we have a large garden. I just don't think it's fair to dogs to let them sit indoors all day, so I'm always out walking with my dog, Baby. Family & friends have also always relied on me to take care of their dogs when they've been away, and I regularly meet up with friends & their fur babies for lots of dog socialising & fun. I work from home Monday to Friday until 2pm, which is when I pick up my 13month old daughter from nursery, but the nature of my job means I'm around for lots of cuddles & play throughout the day (even when I'm on Zoom calls!), and regular walks in the morning, at lunch time and in the evenings. I have a fenced garden and a fur baby of my own to keep your fur baby company if needed. My daughter has been around dogs since she was born, so she is used to patting dogs gently & not doing anything to annoy them. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in any room that I'm in - it's their home too! However, if your dog has a tendency to moult, I'm afraid they won't be allowed on the beds.

“Excellent sitter, accepted last minute booking and an early morning start on a weekend. Enzo had lots of cuddles and wouldn’t leave Ella’s side which means he took to her really well :) would definitely recommend Thank you so much :)”

“Christina looked after Annie for my panic trip to Peterborough Passport office. Annie is a softy needy cockerpoo and I am a softy dog mummy so when we met Christina we knew immediately we were a great match. I cannot recommend Christina highly enough and I wish we lived closer as I would ask her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Christina”

“Stan enjoyed his first walk with Zita, will def be booking again in the future. Zita arrived on time and showed a good understanding as Stan being a puller on walks think she will be able to slow his down a bit. Thanks again Zita”

About: I've owned a dog and also had experience with friend's dogs. I love to walk in nature, so would be able to walk your dog in pretty places, with lots of stimulation :) I currently work from home, so always have time for animals in my care. I am also available at short notice and also at weekends. I have a fenced garden and secure house, so your pet will be safe with me. I dont have a dog crate, so you will need to provide this if required.
About: I have experience caring for dogs since I was about 15 years old. I often helped my grandmother and close family friends with their dogs — walking them, feeding them and looking after them when they were busy or away. Through this experience I learned how to be patient, attentive and responsible with dogs of different personalities. I enjoy spending time with them, going on walks, playing and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I work night shifts from Sunday night until Wednesday morning. On the other days, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time for pet care. I am available for walks, visits, or overnight stays on most days, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. I provide a clean, safe, and comfortable space for pets, whether at my home or theirs. I follow all instructions carefully and always supervise pets to keep them happy and secure. Owners get updates so they can relax while I care for their furry friends.
“Today Oscar visited us again, my dogs recognised him immediately and were very happy of seeing him again. This time after walking my 2 boxers together he also helped me to teach them how to use a special stair for the car boot which I have recently purchased. I can tell that the whole experience was very positive. I learn a lot from Oscar every time on how to interact with my dogs, how to create an easy going environment for the future. Visibly he has a wealth of knowledge on training dogs and control them with kindness, calmness and good energy.”

About: Hi, I’m Andriana, a first year medical student who's home for the holidays! I really love spending time with dogs and have some experience in taking care of them. I may not have a dog of my own, but my passion for caring for them is anything but second-hand. For over three years, I've been a regular, trusted carer for my cousin's dogs, looking after them across all stages of life — from energetic puppies and playful adults to more gentle senior dogs. This has given me a well-rounded understanding of how differently dogs need to be cared for depending on their age and personality. I’m looking for a lovely dog that I can take for walks and am able to dog sit at their house .I’m usually available on weekdays in the daytime and evening, at weekends and for holidays. I am a First year university student who is home for the holidays where I have all the time in the world, if I have no prior arrangements, I am available 24/7, any day of the week and any time. Unfortunately, my own cat doesn't get on with dogs so I will only be able to walk dogs and dog-sit at the owners home, where I will utilise the resources available to me as instructed.
“Elżbieta was extremely professional from start to finish. My dogs instantly fell in love with her, flipping on their backs for belly rubs! My dogs can be much but Elżbieta dealt with it with no issues and exceeded my expectations. After the walk I’ve had lots of pictures and being in a different country so far away it put my mind at ease to see an extensive report on the wellbeing of my babies. I would highly recommend Elzbieta, you can tell she has so much love for the animals she will do her utmost best to make sure they’re well looked after!”

“Eleni, is just a dream. From initial contact she was proactive with her responses, accommodating and very welcoming. Frieda is a very shy dog with strangers, but within seconds, she was wagging her tail, trying to get kisses and cuddles. She settled into the house very quickly. I do believe this was due to the warm and kind aura Eleni gives. Freida had a very nice time over her weekend stay. With lots of reassurance for me with photo and video updates, kept my mind at rest. When it was time for Freida to come home, she didn't want to leave an ran upstairs to hide lol....that's how much she enjoyed her stay. We will definitely be using Eleni again, and i highly recommend her. Thank you Eleni, i will message you shortly to discuss future stays. Thank you Charlie & Freida xxx”

“Billie has been my saving grace! Available last minute rescuing me from failed booking and most importantly caring for Freddie like it’s her own dog. I’m incredibly grateful to Billie and Kane and highly recommend her services!”

“Ella has helped us a couple of times now and very last minute too. We can’t thank her enough for being so flexible and helpful. My dog isn’t great another other dogs so Ella even arranges for her dog to stay elsewhere. Would highly recommend Ella to anyone and trust her to look after my dogs knowing they’re in safe hands.”

“Lovely setting and felt really secure and warm. They took Toro in like family! He had lots of stimulation. Brett sent regular updates and cute videos and pictures. Highly recommend!”

“Jo and Ian were the perfect sitters for our Millie. They keep us updated throughout her stay re how she was getting on and sent photos so we could see how relaxed and happy she was, as well as being perfectly spoilt throughout her stay. We would definitely use them again.”

About: Hi! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, and being around them is just part of my everyday routine. At home we have two very friendly Eastern European Shepherds, so I’m very used to living with large breeds and helping with feeding, brushing, playtime, and keeping dogs calm and happy. My parents have lots of experience with dogs, and my dad is an IMDT‑qualified puppy instructor, so I’ve learned a lot from being involved in training sessions and understanding different dog personalities. It’s taught me how to stay confident, gentle, and patient with all kinds of dogs. I’m currently home from uni, which means I have plenty of time to devote to looking after dogs like walking, drop‑ins, or giving them a safe, comfy area in our 3 storey house, away from the shepherds if needed. There are also lovely woodland paths and fields close to our home, so dogs get plenty of chances for fun walks. If you’re looking for someone who’s grown up in a dog‑experienced home, is confident with small and large breeds, with lots of time to give your dog attention and care, I’d love to help! I'm currently at home from university, so I am free any day of the week to look after your dogs and available for boarding/walking any time! We have a fenced garden and a very dog friendly household where your dog will be treated like a member of the family. There are lovely walks nearby and your fur baby will get lots of attention and plenty of cuddles while they're here!
