“I cannot recommend Christina & her family enough. We had another dog sitter cancel last minute at 1AM in the morning and we were due to travel the same day. Christina replied in the early hours of the morning and saved us from cancelling our trip! She has a lovely home and was extremely welcoming. “Billie and her partner looked after my dog Doris for me for 10 days, they are a nice couple, their house was a perfect size for my dog. When I arrived to drop Doris off to my embarrassment within 10 minutes she was sick not once but twice on the living room floor, I couldn't believe it but both Billie and her partner were chilled about it, they understand Bulldogs which definitely helped. Throughout the time Billie texted me photos and messages about how my dog had settled in nicely and how Doris didn't like her partners guitar playing which I found hilarious and so did they (I think). My dog was in a happy mood when I picked her up I expected her to sulk but she didn't so she must have had the best time with Billie and her partner. Thank you both, I would recommend you if asked.”

My first was a Norwegian Forest Cat we adopted — he was wonderfully playful, a joy to care for, and very receptive to training, quickly becoming a beloved member of the family. I usually have a max of 4 hours work in a day and drive all around Peterborough so can easily pop in to your pets and can make time for walks before and after my work. About: They say you can tell if somebody is a good person when animals feel safe in their presence... Well, not to blow my own trumpet, but... toot toot! Animals really do seem to love me :-) I think it's because they know that I love them back! I've previously had a dog of my own, and then inherited my mum's dog a few years ago, who I'd bought & trained for my mum in the first place. I trained him off-lead too before giving him to her, so I think he'd always seen me as his real mummy & maybe thought my mum was just his girlfriend, ha! I'm a firm believer in making sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time & exercise- having moved up to Peterborough from London, my dog was previously an apartment dog so was used to being walked at least 3 times a day, and we've continued that up here, even though we have a large garden. I just don't think it's fair to dogs to let them sit indoors all day, so I'm always out walking with my dog, Baby. Family & friends have also always relied on me to take care of their dogs when they've been away, and I regularly meet up with friends & their fur babies for lots of dog socialising & fun. I work from home Monday to Friday until 2pm, which is when I pick up my 13month old daughter from nursery, but the nature of my job means I'm around for lots of cuddles & play throughout the day (even when I'm on Zoom calls!), and regular walks in the morning, at lunch time and in the evenings. I have a fenced garden and a fur baby of my own to keep your fur baby company if needed. My daughter has been around dogs since she was born, so she is used to patting dogs gently & not doing anything to annoy them. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and in any room that I'm in - it's their home too! However, if your dog has a tendency to moult, I'm afraid they won't be allowed on the beds.
About: I've taken care of multiple dogs since I was small, with variations in size and breed. I have experience with energetic young mixed-breed dogs as well as older dogs with special medical needs. Nothing is too much to provide the care, affection, and training our furry friends require! New to official formal sitting, hence the "1 year". About: Premise: my experience is mainly dog-related and I am unable to look after dogs less than 1 year old. My family always had a dog when I was growing up, my first memory would be time with my dad’s Rottweiler, named Bullet. During my teenage years, we adopted a mixed race dog that my youngest sister named Barbie! “Billie and her partner looked after my dog Doris for me for 10 days, they are a nice couple, their house was a perfect size for my dog. When I arrived to drop Doris off to my embarrassment within 10 minutes she was sick not once but twice on the living room floor, I couldn't believe it but both Billie and her partner were chilled about it, they understand Bulldogs which definitely helped. Throughout the time Billie texted me photos and messages about how my dog had settled in nicely and how Doris didn't like her partners guitar playing which I found hilarious and so did they (I think). “Eleni, is just a dream. From initial contact she was proactive with her responses, accommodating and very welcoming. Frieda is a very shy dog with strangers, but within seconds, she was wagging her tail, trying to get kisses and cuddles. She settled into the house very quickly. I do believe this was due to the warm and kind aura Eleni gives. Freida had a very nice time over her weekend stay. With lots of reassurance for me with photo and video updates, kept my mind at rest. When it was time for Freida to come home, she didn't want to leave an ran upstairs to hide lol....that's how much she enjoyed her stay. About: I have had dogs all my life and I'mexperienced with a variety of breeds. I have an 8 yearly old rescue springer spaniel who is my world. He had broken legs that weren't treated properly and I have given everything and more to make sure he has the best life and treatment he deserves. Your dog will be well cared for in a home from home environment with regular updates and photos, and given all the love that I give to my own pets. I am a registered paramedic and work shifts. I will only be accepting bookings on my days off and annual leave, meaning I will be home the majority of time with your dog during their stay. I will require a meet and greet prior to the booking to ensure our dogs get on well and make sure we are the right fit. This will also hopefully put you at ease before the booking. I'm very experienced with senior dogs with medical conditions such as arthritis and joint issues. I work as a paramedic and do shifts. I have blocks of days off and will only be accepting bookings on my days off and annual leave. This ensures I am home for the majority of time for your dogs stay. I have a fully enclosed and gated garden with a lock. I also have the ability to separate off my stairs and lounge area if needed. However, there are no restrictions in my home and dogs are allowed on the sofa and bed (if they wish)

“Matteo and Emma were fantastic at looking after our 2 elderly girls. Rum needed medication throughout her stay and this was managed really well, which was key as she was in a lot of pain. They listened to, and took onboard, our instructions for food, walks etc. We were sent pictures every day for 3 weeks which really helped us manage our separation anxiety! Even though Matteo and Emma are a 75 minute drive away we would definitely use them again as Rum and Noodle were clearly very happy and cared for with them. Many thanks Matteo and Emma.”

This was so nice as it really put our minds at rest that our spoilt dogs would be looked after as we would and not left in kennels. Victoria sent lots of photos and updates but respected the time we were actually at our sons wedding. We could relax and enjoy the day knowing Lily and Evie were having a great time themselves.
