Hi, I’m Berkant. I'm a certified dog walker with Pet First Aid L2 and professional training in Pet Sitting & Dog Walking. You can check out my certificates in the photos on my profile. I have loved animals since childhood, especially dogs. Eighteen years ago, I rescued my first girl, Maya, when she was just three months old. Three years later, I adopted my second dog, a playful boy who had been abandoned on the streets. While feeding stray dogs in Istanbul’s Belgrad Forest, my third dog, Dobbie, found me; he jumped into my car and never left. I care for my dogs like my own children. I even cook their meals myself using healthy, natural ingredients. My oldest dog, Maya, is still thriving at 18 years old. Two years ago, Max was diagnosed with cancer and given only months to live, but with love, attention, and natural supplements, he’s still with us today. My dogs are my family, my joy, and my life.

I currently don’t offer in-home pet care, but I provide both short and long walks, along with outdoor playtime sessions to keep dogs happy, active, and well-stimulated. I always follow the owner’s instructions to make sure each dog feels comfortable and safe.

Amazing service from Berkant, you can tell he is very experienced with dogs and love them! He sent us lots of updates throughout the time he spent with Hendrix and even brought him treats! Absolutely recommend!
Berkent was incredible with our dog! He showed a great deal of care and was very knowledgeable about dogs. He kept us updated all weekend about how she was doing and made sure she had the best time. Wonderful!

Berkant is a fantastic sitter! I highly recommend him. He watched our two senior dogs for a last-minute housesitting booking over a bank holiday weekend. One of our dogs is anxious and can be leash-aggressive, and both take medications. He managed their care without trouble, and I really appreciated his flexibility and communication. You can tell he cares deeply for dogs; he gave us tips on supporting our dogs as they age (one is 11 and the other is 15) and took great care of them while we were away. I will be booking with him again soon.

Schedule
I recently moved to the UK because of my wife’s job change. I don’t need to work a regular full-time job, so I have plenty of free time. I love walking, being outdoors, and spending time with dogs — so pet care fits perfectly into my weekly routine and I can give them all the attention they need.

- Before our first walk, I kindly ask every owner to fill out a short Dog Walking Information Form. This includes key information such as walking preferences, medical notes, behaviour around other dogs/people, and emergency contacts. It helps me understand your dog’s needs, routine, personality, and any important health or safety details. Clear communication from the start ensures a safe, happy, and tailored experience for your dog.
