Your dog’s best buddy
I am a host with Rover since the early days of the company. Under the tongue in cheek name “Chateau Le Bark” I provide total care for pets and their 2 legged companions. As pet ownership continues to sore in the UK and pet parents are seeking ever-expanding services for their furry friends, I keep adjusting my offerings accordingly. As part of my ongoing training, I completed a 6-week "Leash Monster" class on curbing leash aggression and happily teach visiting fur babies what I learned (Hint: there are lots of treats involved!). I also accommodate older or special needs dogs, adhere to special diets, and administer medication. Under my experienced care, your dog will have plenty of fun and exercise with 3 - 4 walks each day including outings to nearby dog-friendly parks, forests, and nature reserves. In between all this activity and playtime, there will be periods of rest and snuggles and, if owners allow special treats. Your dog’s full and fun day of activity ends with plenty of snuggles. During sleep aways there are lots of toys, comfortable doggie beds to help your best friend miss you just a little less. Care from Chateau Le Bark provides an experience your dog will never forget! NEW: Chateau Le Bark now offers pet loss grief counseling. I’m a certified and licensed pet bereavement counselor and when the times comes to say a final goodby to your dog will be by your side to help you work through your grief. Ask me about it.

Ralf took excellent care of my dog while I was on holiday - she clearly had a great time staying with him. Ralf is always a pleasure to deal with - responds quickly, and provides lots of photos/updates. This was my second time leaving my dog with Ralf, and I'd be very happy to do so again.
Another great stay for Winnie. She absolutely loves going and always comes home happy and completely settled, which tells you everything you need to know. It’s a massive reassurance for us knowing she’s being so well looked after and is somewhere she genuinely enjoys being. Great communication from Ralf as always too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
A really successful house sit! Once again our lively cockapoo had a wonderful time with Ralf. We felt reassured by regular photos, videos and updates, and by how relaxed and happy our dog was when we came home. Ralf looked after our home and my plants too. Will definitely book again.
Ralf has been absolutely fantastic with our dog, Winnie. She stays with him regularly and visibly loves her time there, which says everything. It’s clear how much care, attention, and affection he gives to the dogs he looks after. Ralf is reliable, easy to communicate with, and completely trustworthy. We always feel confident leaving Winnie with him, knowing she’s in safe hands and having a great time. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
Ralf arrived very promptly as always. After her usual short barks to greet anyone arriving at the house, we left Lizzie happily sitting on Ralf’s lap. We are always very comfortable leaving Lizzie with Ralf and would strongly recommend him
We have never needed a dogsitter before, so wanted to be as confident as possible leaving Hettie with a stranger. The number of great reviews that Ralf has been given in the past was a great starting point, and we had a face to face meeting so that we could discuss behavior, diet, routines etc. Couldn't have been happier with how that went, so we booked her in for a couple of days. The whole process has been made much easier since Ralf is so experienced. Great communication leading up to and during the stay, Hettie settled in extremely quickly, and we could see how relaxed she was when we collected her at the end. Very very happy with the service that Ralf provided, and we have already booked her in for a 5-day stay coming up soon. Thank you Ralf... you exceeded our expectations, and we happily give you another top-notch review!
