We have 2 cats that hate each other and must be kept apart both inside and out, so it was no easy task for her, especially with one cat that doesnt like strangers. She has done an amazing job. About: I'm a remote worker with a flexible schedule, which means I can commit properly to house sits. There's no rushing back and forth, and no leaving pets alone for long stretches. Since I work from wherever I am, your home and animals get consistent company and attention throughout the day. I grew up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and more, so caring for pets isn't new to me, it's second nature. On the dog side specifically, I've got hands on experience across the full size spectrum, from sausage dogs to Great Danes, so whether you've got a lap sized companion or a gentle giant, I know how to look after them properly, from exercise needs to feeding routines and everything in between. I have my own car, so I'm happy to travel to sits further afield, handle vet runs or emergencies if needed. I also offer cleaning as an additional service ahead of your arrival home. I'm happy to provide references on request. I'm an active person, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I like to start with a walk before my working day begins, then fit in another towards the end of the day, adjusting timing and length depending on each pet's exercise needs. Throughout the working day itself, since I'm remote, pets have company and I'm on hand for feeding, playtime, or anything else that comes up. Whether I'm in a pet owner's home or my own, my priority is keeping to the animal's normal routine as closely as possible. Changes in environment can be unsettling for pets, so I make a point of sticking to their usual feeding times, walk schedule, and any habits they're used to, rather than imposing my own. Before a sit, I like to go through everything with the owner: feeding amounts, any medication, behavioural quirks, vet details, and emergency contacts, so I'm fully prepared and know exactly what to do if something unexpected comes up. I treat the home with the same care and respect I'd want shown to my own, keeping it secure, tidy, and exactly as I found it. I'm happy to send regular updates and photos during a sit, so owners have peace of mind while they're away. And since I have my own car, I can get to a vet quickly if there's ever an emergency.

About: I have been taking care of pets as young as I can remember, growing up with golden retrievers. Formally, I have looked after pets for the last 2 years ranging from cats and dogs to even little bunnies. I am a friendly organised and approachable individual who adores all kinds animals, and understands their unique and differing needs. I provide attentive care, lots of cuddles, playtime and long walks, to give owners peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. I am also capable of handling medication for animals, as my own dog is currently ill, so I understand very clearly the requirements of animals who may need a little more help. I am working solely as a pet sitter currently, so have plenty of time in the week to look after your furry friend, whether that’s just a drop in to go for a walk or pet sit for a weekend, I am incredibly available and ready to work. I treat every pet with patience and care, they all have unique needs that I ensure I play close attention to. About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I spent many years living with grandparents, who had dogs, so I become very comfortable around dogs from a young age and developed a real understanding of how much love, attention and care they need. My mum also has a Rottweiler, which has given me even more experience around dogs, and helped me understand that every dog has their own personality, needs and routine. I'm also a cat owner myself. I have a 4-year-old troublemaker who I absolutely adore. I love animals in general and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I also understand how difficult it can be to go away on holiday or be apart from your pet while on holiday. I would love the opportunity to get to know your pet and give them plenty of love, attention and care while you are away. I work full-time, from 6am-2.30 pm, which means my afternoons are free for pet visits. On my days off, I'm also available for multiple check-ins throughout the day, depending on what your pet needs. I have my own car, so I'm happy to travel to your home and can reach areas that may be more difficult to get to by public transport. I understand that welcoming someone into your home to care for your pet requires trust. I will always treat your home with the same respect and care as I would my own, following any instructions and routines you leave for me. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are my priority. I'll make sure doors, gates and windows are secure, keep their food and water fresh, and give them the attention and care they need. About: I may not have formal “professional” experience yet, but I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, from pugs to German Shepherds, and have always loved caring for them. I’ve looked after my own two dogs, who are 13 and 8 years old, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day care, routines and different needs that come with looking after dogs. I’m hoping this is the beginning of a future career working with animals, as my long-term dream is to become fully qualified and eventually have my own doggy daycare. I’m confident with dogs and cats of different ages, personalities and needs, and always prioritise their welfare, comfort and happiness. I work on a flexible 0-hour contract, so my availability varies from week to week. I keep my calendar updated and can often accommodate weekday, evening and weekend bookings. I take animal welfare and safety seriously and will follow your pet’s usual routine and care instructions carefully. I’ll keep their environment clean and secure, provide plenty of attention and enrichment, and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.

Having Alice look after your pet is like having their best friend over for a play date, and she is genuinely such a lovely person who is always willing to go the extra mile. I recently booked her to stay with Buddy while I was away for a week, and she was even kind enough to put the bins out when she saw the neighbours doing the same. Buddy is an ex-racing Greyhound who has some specific breed traits, and I have complete confidence in Alice walking him on lead with a muzzle, and she takes the time to understand your dog’s temperament. It was amazing how quickly he took to her. Genuinely lovely sitter who clearly adores her time with your pet, and gives everything that human touch so it feels more like a friend coming over than someone providing a service. Talking to her about her own family pets and the variety of animals she has cared for previously is reassuring that I am dealing with somebody who has a genuine love of animals. Highly recommend for visits or stays.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & pups of all ages and multiple breeds for family and friends sporadically since I was a teenager. Activities while pup-sitting have included walks, feeding, playing, teaching tricks and chilling on the sofa of course! I know how scary leaving your dogs can be, so I’m more than happy to send you as many update texts & pics as you’d like! I’m currently finishing my Wildlife Conservation degree, so part-time for now. I’m due to completely finish by early/mid May, and then my schedule opens up completely!
