About: We have both been around dogs for as long as I can remember and have cared for all kinds of personalities — from bouncy, energetic walkers to calm, cuddly sofa companions. Friends, family and neighbours have trusted me to walk, feed and look after their dogs, and I genuinely love spending time with them. We have my own rescue pup who is around 7 years old and happy to have company. We are reliable, patient and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy and relaxed while their owners are away. Whether your dog needs long sniffy walks, playtime, routine and structure, or just plenty of fuss and reassurance, they’ll be treated like one of our own. We offer home boarding in a relaxed, family environment where dogs are truly part of the household. We work opposite shifts meaning dogs are never left for long periods and always have company, routine and attention. We are very lucky to have various outdoor areas around our house that dogs can explore freely. It is secure so even on hot days where a walk isn’t possible, we have a large secure sheltered paddock where we can walk and play with the dogs. I am a wellbeing dog handler for Hertfordshire fire and rescue so I have had the best training from dogs trust in various areas and have up to date skills and knowledge from all up to date research. Daily walks/play and cuddles are absolutely non-negotiable. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness are our top priorities. Our home has ample space, including additional separate areas if a dog needs extra room, quiet time or a slower introduction. We have a 9-year-old dog, Rolo, who is playful, friendly and happy to have company with the right introduction. All introductions are done calmly and carefully, and dogs are never left unattended together. If needed, dogs can be comfortably separated in their own space. We follow routines closely, are careful with feeding, walks, doors and supervision, and we always provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, settled and well cared for.

About: I previously had a wonderful senior dog, so I understand that not every dog wants (or can manage) long walks. As he got older, we adapted his routine to suit him, with shorter, gentler walks and plenty of time to sniff and explore at his own pace. He was also deaf in his later years, so I became very aware of how important it is to approach dogs calmly and thoughtfully to avoid startling them. That experience taught me to be patient. Whether your dog is young and full of energy or enjoying their senior years, I'll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy. I'll be available Friday to Sunday evenings, making me a great option for weekend walks, drop-in visits or evening care. “Ellie was very good when I had to leave my two Yorkies home alone for 3 days over Christmas. Ellie came in in the morning to administer meds, walk and feed the 2 dogs. Then she returned twice more during the day, even on Christmas Day, to give meds and feed when necessary. i enjoyed received photo updates, and Ellie always put a little note with the photos. I would definitely use her again, especially as she is so local”

About: I have been taking care of pets as young as I can remember, growing up with golden retrievers. Formally, I have looked after pets for the last 2 years ranging from cats and dogs to even little bunnies. I am a friendly organised and approachable individual who adores all kinds animals, and understands their unique and differing needs. I provide attentive care, lots of cuddles, playtime and long walks, to give owners peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. I am also capable of handling medication for animals, as my own dog is currently ill, so I understand very clearly the requirements of animals who may need a little more help. I am working solely as a pet sitter currently, so have plenty of time in the week to look after your furry friend, whether that’s just a drop in to go for a walk or pet sit for a weekend, I am incredibly available and ready to work. I treat every pet with patience and care, they all have unique needs that I ensure I play close attention to. About: From having my own fur babies to caring for others, I have looked after many different dog breeds of lots of different ages. Some have been rescues with special needs. I am active and can run around with any dog but also love a cuddle on the sofa. I have a flexible job that allows me to work form him a lot of the time, as long as I do my hours is a day it doesn’t matter when they are done. I follow instructions so your dog routine continues seamlessly but can make decisions based on many years of experience. I can play and I can cuddle. All is welcome.

About: I may not have formal “professional” experience yet, but I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, from pugs to German Shepherds, and have always loved caring for them. I’ve looked after my own two dogs, who are 13 and 8 years old, so I’m very comfortable with the day-to-day care, routines and different needs that come with looking after dogs. I’m hoping this is the beginning of a future career working with animals, as my long-term dream is to become fully qualified and eventually have my own doggy daycare. About: I am lucky enough for my friends and family to have chosen me to care for their furry friends when they are away from home, some local, some further way. For many years I volunteered at Woodgreen Animal Shelter and Cats Protection helping care for their animal guests. I love walking outside in nature with my doggie friends, come rain or shine and having cuddles with cats and other animals when they decide its human time. I love the unique personality each animal has and seeing that grow as they become confident around me. I am currently self employed and can adapt my schedule to ensure I have plenty of time to walk, and play and care for your animals. I feel its very important to follow your guidance for the care of your animals, (and your home) and ensuring consistency of the day such as rules, meal times, walks, medication times, etc. I am very confident in caring for a range of animals with differing needs and temperaments. About: I have been lucky enough to share my life with pets since I was little. My family currently consists of me, my partner, our two cats and two gerbils (so those relationships need managing well!) I regularly look after other animals as well including cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, and rabbits. The tasks I do when caring for them include feeding, playing, cleaning, cleaning up after, walking, and cuddling! I am attentive and always aim to ensure the pets are healthy, and feel loved and happy. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible and determined by me, so I have plenty of time to set aside to care for your animal(s)! I am adaptable, so should you wish me come to your house to care for your pet(s) I will ensure I have a full list of any requirements so they are well cared for. If you wish for your pet to stay with me in my home, they can socialise with my fur babies or I can keep them in separate rooms from my cats if necessary. If you have a dog that sleeps in a crate I am happy to accommodate that too.

About: Growing up I have always lived in a household full of loving dogs. I have learnt a lot about training puppies and dog care and will look after the ones that matter the most to you as though they were my own pets. I will take the dogs for solo walks unless you have multiple dogs from the same household and will always come prepared with my own bio-degradable poop bags as a pawcaution.
