“Thanks for looking after my cat while I was away. Loved the photo updates and to see you playing with her. Thanks for being on time with the visits and coming to meet Roxy before looking after her.”

About: I have had experience with both cats and dogs from a young age. I have had springer spaniels in the past who definitely kept me on my toes! I currently volunteer weekly for stray cat rescue, and also cats protection, and work part time as a support worker. I love walking and I adore animals and am very confident around all different dogs and cats ❤️❤️ I work part time as a support worker in co ordination with my partner to fit around childcare, so I'm very flexible! I just need to know at least a week in advance so I can plan in my diary as no two days are the same for me! I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets, so I will keep everything as normal as possible to fit around your usual schedule. Lots of playtime and love at the same time 🥰
“Isabella was friendly and accommodating. She took good care of our two fur babies whilst we were away for 2 nights. She gave us regular updates and kindly tidied up too. Would definitely recommend Isabella for her services.”

About: Hello! I am a passionate animal lover, recently finished a 4 year Zoology degree at NTU Brackenhurst, also with a Level 3 diploma in Animal management, so I will ensure to apply academic and practical knowledge to caring for your pets. I have worked at an animal rescue, caring for a wide range of different dog breeds (large and small), cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and a pig! I will meet the needs of both you and your pets, and be sure to keep in as much contact as wished by owner. Also working as a dog sitter/walker for a private owner, since 2019, which gave me many practical skills I can apply to other dog sittings. Please get in touch, I look forward to meeting you and your lovely companions! As I have recently finished university I am unemployed so would love to get as many pet sits into my weekly schedule. As my availability varies with summer plans, my calendar is kept strictly up-to-date. I am highly flexible during my free days and can easily accommodate walks any time, drop-ins, and dedicated overnight housesitting. I will ensure your house is kept perfectly tidy and update you on details of the day. I am very reliable and respectful. My current fur baby is Willow, aged 3! I have experience with puppies through to senior dogs. I will treat your dog as my own, helping them to thrive and feel safe in my company! I currently have full availability for the next few months. I can do dog walks, or drop in visits! I look forward to building a bond with your dog. I do not offer pet care in my own home however, I can provide care in your home. This can include drop in visits and casual pet sitting. “I’ve got lots of updates and sometimes even the playful videos from Samira. She is very professional, attentive and does everything according to feeding instructions. She even helped us setup the feeders, even gave Mochi a new toy and cleaned the messes Mochi made sometimes 😅. We will definitely ask Samira again next time!”

“Kate is such a wonderful person. She is really kind and showed so much interest in our cat. She made sure he was fed, happy and had lots of water. She sent lovely pictures so we could see how he was getting on. She even tidied up when she left! Thank you Kate!!! We highly recommend”

“We came home to a very happy cat who had been reliably fed, played with, and kept company while we were away. Jamie is a great sitter who takes care to make sure the animals he looks after are interacted with as well as having their basic needs met. This was really important to us at this time of year so that we wouldn't come home to any mess caused by a bored cat!! Thanks Jamie, we appreciate it.”

About: I've been living with dogs and cats for almost all my life and growing up with them taught me what a real best friend is. I became a volunteer in my country in a pet house and I took care of lots of homeless dogs and cats... between puppies and adults.. and the ones pregnant too! My house was their house.. that's why I ended up adopting 7 dogs and 10 cats... with one of my dog I attended lessons at the dogs education school where I improved my knowledge about their behaviour, their fears, how to behave with them, as well as how to teach them common commands like sit down, give me five, or lay down, stay, walk by my side etc.. Being a volunteer as well was helpful to get better with the different type of food depending on their size, age , hair or special needs, lots of different medicine, but especially spending time with them I realised how much they can give to us.. together we play, we sleep, we go to the beach or for a walk.. together we spend special time, and time is the most beautiful gift you can give. Since I moved to UK, I've been missing my pets each day.. I'd be grateful to spend time with yours.. you won't regret!
About: Hello there! I'm Liz, and dogs have been my heart and soul since I was little. There's never been a time in my life without a wagging tail nearby or paw prints on my clothes, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Alex, my partner in both life and now in pet sitting, grew up surrounded by four legged friends, just like me. He has that special touch that makes dogs feel instantly at ease. It's lovely to see how even the shyest pups warm up to those belly rubs. Between us, we've cared for everything from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle giants, including some wonderful rescue dogs who stole our hearts along the way. We're both experienced in caring for dogs with medical needs, having looked after pets requiring medication, special diets and post-surgery care. We understand that your furry family member isn't just a dog, they're your world. Whether your pooch fancies long rambles through the park, cosy cuddles on the sofa with a good fuss, or energetic games in the garden, we'll make sure they feel completely at home with us. Tea and treats for both humans and dogs are always on hand, and we promise to send you plenty of updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your beloved pet is having just as much fun as you are. Taking care of pets fits perfectly into our daily routines. We both enjoy flexible work-from-home setups, ensuring your dog receives plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. Between us, there's always someone available for walks, playtime, or simply a warm lap for cuddles. We easily adapt to your pet's needs, whether in our home or yours. In our home, your dog will enjoy our spacious garden with plenty of exercise and attention. For pets more comfortable in familiar surroundings, we offer in-home care following your routines. Either way, we ensure your furry friend is safe and happy while you're away.
About: I have had dogs at home for most of my life. From the big ones like German Shepherds to the very small ones like Yorkshire Terrier. My friends and family always rely on me to look after their pets when they go away. We have a daughter and a toddler boy who are both dog and cat lovers. They are super curious and gently with all the animals they interact with. My partner Chris has lived with dogs and cats (fish and hamsters) throughout his life and is avid about animals in general. Please be assured that we will love and care for your dog and / or cat as if it were our own. I work from home most days and Chris works from home a few days of the week as well, so I would probably be the one taking your dog out for a walk during the day or able to visit your home to check on your pets. We don’t have any set commitments most weekends and may be available at short notice if needed. We live in a good sized house with a fenced garden in Flitwick. We enjoy taking the dogs for walks in the park. If your pet requires a certain diet or medication regularly we can handle this as we have past and current experiences with our own pets and that of family and friends. I am working from home most days and Chris works from home a few days a week. Our daily routine would normally be playing with the dogs and kids in the garden and also taking them for a walk. I have a closed fenced garden and I also prefer keeping them on the lead when walking on the street or walking in the park.

About: I am fully licensed by Central Bedfordshire Council - CB/LANW/ 25/007638, insured, and canine first aid trained. As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve spent over 20 years caring for a wide range of breeds, from Rottweilers and Jack Russell's to Staffies, Cockapoos, and Spaniels. This experience has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments, needs, and behaviors, allowing me to tailor care to each individual dog. I provide quality stays over quantity and operate strictly as a solo home boarder, caring for one dog at a time unless they are from the same household. This ensures calm, consistent, one-to-one attention without the stress of a busy, multi-dog environment. I follow a structured onboarding process to ensure safety and suitability for both your dog and my family: Meet and greet at my home to assess compatibility. One-night trial stay to observe overnight behavior. Approval for longer bookings once suitability is confirmed. All dogs must have valid pet insurance and an up-to-date vaccination certificate before boarding. I also have an 8-year-old at home, so dogs must be comfortable and well behaved around children. You can rest assured your pet will be welcomed into a safe, loving, and well-managed home environment. Dogs in my care enjoy long country walks—often twice a day if suited to their energy levels—or shorter, gentle strolls for those who prefer a slower pace. With access to beautiful open spaces nearby, they’ll have the opportunity to explore, sniff, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and enriching way. Throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, and interaction tailored to their individual needs. Whether it’s relaxing with company, engaging in play, or following specific routines, I ensure that each pet feels happy, settled, and truly at home. Their well-being is my top priority, and I’m committed to providing a caring, consistent, and enjoyable experience while they’re in my care. When caring for pets, I offer both in-home pet sitting and care within the pet owner's home, depending on your needs. If your pet stays at my home, rest assured that I have a secure, fenced-in garden for safe outdoor play, and we are surrounded by beautiful countryside—perfect for long, enjoyable walks. I currently have no pets of my own, so your dog will have my full attention and care without the presence of other animals. For in-home services, I ensure that your pet is comfortable and follows their regular routine while you're away, providing feeding, walks, and companionship in the comfort of their familiar environment. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and loved, whether they're staying with me or I’m looking after them in your home.
“Great Job, Agnieszka look after my Rottweiler dog with no problems what so ever. Im so greatful to her for looking after my big Bear Zeus. All i asked for feeding my dog and cleaning up the mess but she went beyond that, she fed it and also cleaned up all his plates and dishes as well as looked after him so well. Im so happy with her service and she knows how to take care of dog so big Thank you and will be calling u again soon.”

“Isabel is amazing, I would recommend her to anyone who loves their pet. We were fully confident when we left for a holiday abroad. We had daily updates and photos, I didn’t ask her to, but she took our dog out for walks and thoroughly spoilt him! She even cuddled the tortoises, they were not part of the contract! Now we are back I think Sparkey the dog misses her, she has spoilt him. House was secure and all instructions were adhered too. Thank you Isabel.”
“Everything you could hope for. One of the cats isn't exactly friendly so it would have been difficult to pay him too much attention but the other clearly enjoyed a little love and play and they are both still as chonky as when I left so food was definitely had! Jessica keeps you up to date throughout brilliantly and I am glad she is coming back next weekend for more of the same.”

About: I’ve had a wide variety of experience with different pets from a very young age. I have owned and taken care of reptiles, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, dogs, cats etc. In the past few years I have become more relied on to dog sit, walk and do check ins for family and friends but have recently expanded out to dog walking and sitting for a owner local to my area each week. I currently have 3 dogs of my own. A jack russel, Chihuahua and a Labrador. My labrador is only 1 so the past year has been very focused on trying to train her. I currently work full time as an estate agent, on a 2 week flip rotation. I have 1 in every 2 Tuesdays off in place of working shorter hours on a Saturday. Weekdays I work 9-6 Saturdays I work 9-4:30. I can be flexible with pet sits around this☺️ I care for other people’s dogs in their homes fairly frequently. I have done many short stay sits and also longer ones as up to 14 days. I have always been able to accommodate whatever you and your pet needs from me while they’re in my care.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
