About: I have had dogs my whole life so very experienced with all breeds. I live in an area where the dogs will get daily long countryside walks. There is somebody at home 24/7 so your dog will never be alone by themselves. I can pick up/ drop off if need be as I'm a taxi driver in London so I'm insured to carry pets. I'm available for boarding for as long as needed. The whole family are experienced with dogs. My 20 year old daughter is a dog groomer. I work from 3am to 10am and then I home all day. My wife is at home 24/7 so they will never be left alone. We will treat your loved one as if it's our own so any requirements that you have will be ok. We often look after friends dogs and they are so happy that we decided to do it full time. I have a large fenced garden. The only way in and out of the garden is through the house so it's extremely secure. Your pet will have the run of the house unless you request that they do not go upstairs.

About: Hi there! We're Alex and Bethany, a couple in our early 30s (both 32) with a lifelong love for animals! We have recently moved to Marston Moretaine after 1.5 years pet sitting on Trusted House Sitters, we have moved into our own home and miss having pets to care for and would love to care for yours. Over the years, we've cared for countless dogs (including labradors, golden retrievers, spaniels, terriers, collies, a Basque Sheperd & Basset De Fauve) cats (including a ragdolls, bengals, tabby’s, Norwegian forest cats & Persians), fish and even ponies and chickens! As professionals who work from home, we'll be around to give your pets plenty of attention, affection, and care. Whether it's cuddles on the sofa, a calming presence during the day, or adventures outdoors, we'll make sure they feel loved and secure while you're away. We're active and love exploring beaches (a little far from us now), hills, and trails, so if your pets enjoy a bit of adventure, they'll be in great company. I’m so grateful to Natalie for looking after Dexter. He can be quite anxious without his family around him, and Natalie treated him like one of her own. It was so lovely to receive photos and updates and put our minds at rest. She went above and beyond when we had a Home Emergency when we got home from our holiday by having him for an extra night at short notice. I thoroughly recommend, and will not hesitate to use again.

My lab Bailey had an amazing stay with Florence. I was caught out last minute when my previous sitter cancelled. Florence got back to me super quick, and even made herself available for a meet and greet at the park before Bailey’s stay. Bail looked like he had the time of his life while I was away, Florence sent through some amazing photos and it was great to know he was having a ball. It’s always hard leaving your pup, but Florence genuinely made Bailey a part of the family, and he loved Bonzo’s company during his stay. Couldn’t recommend Florence highly enough, Bailey was so well looked after, and I’ve already booked him for my next trip away!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
