I had my own dog for over 16 years, he is still very much missed, and now I borrow other people’s. I currently dog sit a miniature Schnauzer in term time. Plus I have recently been given a black Labrador, Barney, he is very good with other dogs and would normally come with me when house sitting.

A holiday is important to us all - but leaving your pet behind and worrying can be difficult. So we have to share our delight and gratitude to SUE A who put us and our Shiatsu WILLOW at ease from our first meet and greet. SUE shows most importantly that the services she provides for Dogs is a passion not just an income. Sue's own Dog Barney also makes the comfort and confidence needed to initiate a support service for our family holiday abroad much easier seeing Barney with a very calm and gentle character - WILLOW swiftly settled on the trial visit. SUE's set up is nicely accessible, lovely home too. Removing all those concerns and worry's that our Dog Sitter is that famous phrase 'SAFE HANDS', allowed our holiday to be stress free. Thank You SUE A - You were swift, communicative and we know WILLOW had her own fab holiday with you and Barney. YOU HAVE A GREAT BUSINESS/SERVICE - SO NICELY BALANCED WITH GOOD VALUE TOO. Very good communication (including when I was late due to getting lost!) and Nola felt at home very quickly.
This is the first time that we have used Rover to look after our dog Stella, but we have been left very impressed. That may be down to Sue and how great she has been! We received multiple updates / photos each day of all the walks Stella had been on with her new friend Barney! Sue house sat for us as well as looking after Stella and we have come home to the house looking the same as we left it, clean! Plus, she also watered our plants for us. We highly recommend Sue and will definitely be using her again!
Nice house and people. Sent us some photos but didn’t bombard. Rufus seemed happy and well looked-after when picked up.
Sue has been wonderful in looking after Tommy. Regular updates of Tommy with Barney having a great time swimming and playing together. It must have been challenging in the heat of the last week, but Sue's impeccable standards and care just demonstrates her professionalism. The house was perfectly clean and tidy - probably more so than I let it 😁 I rate Sue very highly and will use her services again.

Schedule
I am available for pet care seven days per week and have my own transport. I am newly retired and can spend all of my time caring for pets.

I have an enclosed rear garden and live in a village location with plenty of varied country walks on my doorstep. I have my own dog, who is very friendly.

A typical day
I walk around the beautiful local area and get the dogs in my care to meet other dogs and fetch balls, if they enjoy doing that. Swimming is also possible locally.
