Eva is so organised, she took Oxa to the vet to have her booster, she gave her flea tablets, she has trained her to be more calm and to follow when having walks, she even bought a harness for Oxa and gave it as a gift to Oxa. She gave me advices, considering that Oxa is a shelter dog, which help me a lot. About: I've had dogs since I was about 10, with a variety of breeds including a bearded collie, retrievers, a cross-bred rescue and my all time favourites, labradors. I enjoyed helping my parents train guide dogs too, and have used those skills many times over the years, helping train friend’s dogs when there was a need. I've also got plenty of experience looking after other people's dogs, as friends have often asked me to either babysit, drop in or fully take in their dogs when they've been away, something I've always been very happy to do, the latest being a fun mix with a shitshu with attitude and his very laid back buddy, an Alsatian😄 I don't have dogs of my own at the moment, however I would love to help other dogs if needed and is something I really enjoy doing, sometimes along with my partner. We are both very outdoorsy and love a dog walk, in all weathers! I'm available to help with any services for dogs at weekends (Fri evenings through to Sunday evenings) as I work full time in the week. We live in a house which has a large enclosed garden, and at all times, the utmost care is obviously given, with all rules and requests strictly adhered to. Photos will happily be provided, and I aim to please! As far as I'm concerned, anything else is unacceptable, as it's how I'd want my pets looked after.

Elvis spent 2 wonderful weeks in the care of Erika, I had the feeling he almost was hesitating to return home. During his stay he needed a visit to the vets and Erika lovingly took care of him spoiling him with lots of attention. I had daily updates and photos. I certainly will book with Erika again.
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my dog! Leaving him for 6 days was something I was really anxious about but from the moment I met Karen, it was clear he was going to be in great hands. We loved receiving updates, photos and videos throughout his stay, and it was obvious just how happy, relaxed and loved he was! He was treated like one of the family which was so important to me, and he absolutely loved his time there - I was a little concerned he wouldn’t want to come home! 😂 We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and I can’t recommend Karen highly enough. Craig and Julie are so lovely, both genuinely really caring dog lovers and want your dog to have a 'home from home' stay. They took care in ensuring Casper stuck to his routine for length and frequancy of walks plus feeding times . Their location is surrounded by wonderful walks. I recieved regular photos during his stay, showing his activities, resting and even a paw washing after a fabulous but muddy walk. I highly recommend them and are planning our next stay. Sunny cared for our female husky Nia for 10 days whilst we were out the country - it was the first time leaving Nia and we were a little apprehensive as Nia is true to her breed and can be quite a handful at times! Sunny quickly put our minds at ease, sending regular updates and photos showing her on amazing walks, getting pup cups and on a doggy play date! If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
