About: I’m currently working my way into the animal care industry. I’ve always loved animals, both wild and domestic. I have a lot of free time at the moment so I’d love to spend it wisely and productively so what better way to do so by pet sitting a neighbour in need. There are many cats in my area, some strays and others belong to neighbours but they somehow always find their way in our home and make it their own due to all the love and attention they find here.
“Ana was amazing, this is the 1st time I have used a cat sitter. I highly recommend Ana Christina and will definitely come back to her if we go away again. She is very thoughtful, great at her job and Molly my cat looked happy and safe whilst I was away, the pictures sent were very reassuring. Ana put my mind at ease from the moment I met 🙏”

“Lynsey dropped in on Dipsy twice for an hour each time on a Saturday when I had to be away for work. She was very professional and through from the first point of contact through to the end of the drop ins, and kept me updated throughout the day. She also helped me out with maintaining the aquariums temperature which is a challenge in the heatwave. I enjoyed receiving the pictures of Dipsy, and he was happy and well when I arrived home. 100% would ask her to drop in on Dipsy again.”

About: Hi 👋 I'm Dorota, and I'm so glad you've stopped by my profile! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Having grown up with dogs, cats, hamsters and chickens, I've spent years caring for, understanding, and enjoying the company of pets of all personalities. I know how much our furry friends mean to us, and I believe every pet deserves kindness, patience, attention, plenty of love and of course lots of fun and playtime too! 🦮 🐱 🐹🐇 Caring for pets is currently my full-time focus, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your furry family members. I'm happy to tailor my services to suit your routine and your pet's individual needs, helping to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both of you. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I always follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel safe and relaxed in their own home. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or pet sitting, I provide plenty of attention, care, exercise, and affection while respecting your instructions and your pet’s individual needs.

About: Hi, I’m Victoria! I’m a medical student with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I currently have a boxer dog and previously cared for another, so I’m very comfortable with energetic, strong breeds and understand the attention, exercise, and patience they need. I also volunteered at Dog Tales Sanctuary, where I walked dogs, spent time socializing with them, and helped care for pets with different personalities and needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and have a flexible schedule, including weekends, to provide loving care for your pets. I typically have weekends fully free and can have a flexible schedule during the week. I am currently a medical student, which means I am highly dependable, detail-oriented, and excellent at following precise routines. My flexible timetable makes it easy for me to visit your home for walks or check-ins exactly when your pet needs them. When caring for pets in your home, I strictly follow your routine, ensure all doors and gates are secure, and never leave them unattended. I am highly respectful of your space and keep it tidy.
About: I have years of personal pet care experience, also as my partner. And since we are helping on a regular basis our friends in their absence, we decided to extend our services to others which need someone to look after their family member when they are away. We enjoy hosting our friends' furry family members and give them the love they need. We are an active couple going regularly for walks in parks nearby us, we would also enjoy walks with your furry friend🐶. I'm working for my own company from home, so I create the schedule every day as is comfortable for me and my plans. For cats sitting I am available almost all the time if the kitty will be in our place, for visiting I will be mostly available afternoon and weekends, however I can make some exception and change my schedule if needed. We have a spacious flat where we can take one cat at the time or couple of them if they are from the same family and already know each other. We are keeping all doors in the house usually open so the pet can easily walk between the rooms with no problem.
“Nicole was absolutely fantastic with Yumi. My cat warmed up to her so easily, it’s amazing. I particularly loved how thorough she was when giving details about her visits. She’s the first sitter I’ve met with such attention to detail regarding pets. I didn’t even realise I needed those details until she provided them. She also helped with Yumi’s litter box and played with her. My cat definitely didn’t miss me. Haha. I highly recommend Nicole and would definitely be booking her again for pet sitting. Thank you Nicole!”

About: Everyone who makes a special bond with a dog in their lives know how much they can mean and what they symbolize for us. I don’t think we are ever going to be able to return that love that they give us, but we can try with making the best choices for them! I would like to be that best choice for your dog and provide nothing but his/her best doggie holiday ever🐶 Firstly, I would like to make your dogs feel like home while you are away and make sure they don’t miss you too much😊 We can adapt to any requests such as eating and walking schedules, training and exercising instructions and we are comfortable with any special needs- be it a puppy or an older dog, any breeds and any size. Our dog is raw fed and we are really focused on healthy/natural feeding so we will adjust to any kinds of special feeding requests. Zippo who was our first dog and many of my regulars had the chance to meet him, was the best- natured and happiest dog an earth. He was a true goldie with that passion for life no one could ever copy but admire. He was our rock and kind of like a therapy dog too for all the nervous and shy dogs who stayed in our home. I named my little business after him and my horse Belle Larry is a 6 year old staffy cross and he is with us for 5.5 years so everything he knows he learnt it from Zippo. He is a lively and playful dog who is a great company and makes us laugh all the time, he loves other dogs and he is trained by my husband as they love obedience and trick training together. Owning a high energy dog means that we are spending a lot of time outside every day, so all dogs can happily be joining us and be part of the fun. We believe the tired dog is the happiest dog. We live right next to the best parks where there are many green fields and woodlands. Our house and garden is absolutely dog-friendly and well equipped with many toys. Also, at the end of the day it is not only about having fun when owning a dog; it is also about making sure we provide the necessary training for them so that we can live comfortably with them. That is why we will always follow your rules given in our house and watch them to not pick up any bad habits. There is obviously so much more for you to find out and I would like to know more about your dog too so please contact me and let’s arrange a meet and greet to see how your dog would fit into my holiday home. I am licenced by the council and I am also fully insured. Documents are always available to take a look at on your request. Licence number: 154656. I am also a certified canine First Aider. I look forward to hear from you, thank you for reading my profile!🥰 I dogsit full time, I have a 4hours/day admin job that I am also doing from home so I am not working away from home. I do have a horse who I go to every day so that would be the only time I leave the dogs at home. Our home is checked by the council every year for my licence renewal so everything is perfectly safe for the dogs, we have the necessary first aid equipment and have a risk assessment and healthcare plan in place for the dogs.

Aiste took wonderful care of our cat, while we were away. She was reliable, kind, and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was clear that our cat felt comfortable and relaxed with her, and seeing how happy she looked meant so much to us. We truly appreciated the care and attention Aiste gave her, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. We highly recommend Aiste to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Thank you so much!

Ana was amazing, this is the 1st time I have used a cat sitter. I highly recommend Ana Christina and will definitely come back to her if we go away again. She is very thoughtful, great at her job and Molly my cat looked happy and safe whilst I was away, the pictures sent were very reassuring. Ana put my mind at ease from the moment I met 🙏

Rianna was so so lovely with our cat Willow when we went away for a few days. She sent lovely pictures and Willow was looked after so well. She was really professional and not phased when I said out kitty had some weird habits 😅 It was lovely to know Willow was in such good hands whilst we were away. I would definitely recommend Rianna and will be booking with her again 😊

Daryl looked after my two cats while I was away, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he provided. He kept me updated after every visit with photos through the app, and my cats warmed up to him very quickly. Each time, he made sure they were fed, their litter tray was clean, and he spent time playing with them. I felt really reassured knowing they were in good hands. I’m very happy with the experience and would definitely book Daryl again. 😄

We were really pleased with our cat sitter's service overall and would recommend her with a few things to keep in mind. From the very start, she made a great impression. She came to meet us before we left, listened carefully to all our instructions, and was warm and friendly throughout. During the three days she visited, she was always punctual, spent a good half hour each time, put food out for both cats as instructed, topped up the water, and kept the litter tray clean. She also checked in with us a couple of times while we were away, which we really appreciated. The one thing that let the experience down slightly was that she only spotted one of our two cats during the last two visits. We understand that cats can hide, and this isn't always within a sitter's control. However, that cat had no human interaction for days and was noticeably anxious when we returned home. Overall, a reliable, caring, and communicative sitter who took her responsibilities seriously.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
