“Justina was an excellent cat sitter for Blaze while we were away. She made regular drop-ins and took the time to ensure she actually saw him and confirmed he was eating—especially important since he tends to skip meals when his routine changes. Her updates were detailed, with several photos each day, which gave us real peace of mind. We felt completely reassured knowing Blaze was in such caring hands. Highly recommend and will absolutely use her again without hesitation!”

About: I have worked with dogs for many years within the pet industry and with working farm dogs. I have no problems with giving medication as my eldest cat currently has medical supplements for bladder issues. I love going for walks and I can cater to your furry friends needs, whether it's a 30 mins stroll outside or an hour running around a woodland or open fields. I've also had many other furry friends of my own such as a dog, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbit and tropical fish. I do work full time but have the flexibility of working from home. I'm local to the Milton Keynes area but happy to travel if and when required. I'm an early riser and can work around your pets routine throughout the day. I have had cats since I was 15 years old and currently own two cats (Ted & Pixie). One is an outdoor cat and the other stays indoors. I have no problems with cleaning litter trays or giving medication as my eldest cat currently has medical supplements for bladder issues. My cats are also used to dogs when our family or friends occasionally bring their pooches to visit.

“Jessica was great and looked after our two cats while we were away! Kept us updated with photos and highly communicative throughout. Highly recommend!”

“Cicely was absolutely incredible. I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs with her and I could tell how much love and attention they got whilst I was away. Bolt & Bella are already looking forward to the next time they can spend the day with Cicely 🤍”

About: I have been working around animals pretty much my entire life, so much so that I have formal qualifications in animal care. I have experience working in Catteries which came with professional training on administering medication and treatments while on the job! I have a deep seated interest in cat and dog behaviour and psychology. I have studied this for years, employing what i have learnt onto my own furry friend to great effect, to the point that she performed on stage, in a rendition of "The Wizard of Oz" where she, of course, played the role of Toto I look forward to hearing from you and meeting all of your pets! I'm available all hours of the day and every day of the week! So if you need a dog sitter for your holiday in 3 months, or if you need one in 30 minutes, I'll be there! When I'm sitting with your dog I will do exactly what you need and request! If your dog has a specific regime then let me know and it'll be followed to the letter! I have a large amount of experience with giving medication to cats and dogs, so if your furry friend struggles with any health issue then let me know! That way you can rest easy knowing that they will be kept in peak health while you're away However if you have a dog that can be a little silly and needs to be trained or helped in some way then look no further! I have a triple distinction in animal care so I have the qualifications to make sure your furry friend is the happiest they can be! I can always offer the services of my own dog if that's something which floats your boat! She is a very well trained dog that has endless experience with helping other dogs, by giving them an example to follow if needed.

About: 🐾 About Me Hi, I’m Steph! I’m a primary school teacher and a huge animal lover. I’ve always grown up around pets and have plenty of experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies and rescue dogs. I’m also a proud owner of my own crazy Romanian rescue, so I understand that every dog is different and that some need a little extra patience, reassurance and understanding. I’m comfortable with nervous, excitable and high-energy dogs and love getting to know their individual personalities and routines. As a teacher, I’m very flexible with my availability, particularly during school holidays and at weekends. I’m also available for evening visits and walks during term time, making it easy to fit around your dog’s usual routine. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, some company while you’re out, feeding, cuddles or a little extra care, I’ll treat them as one of my own. I’m reliable, caring and genuinely love spending time with dogs — muddy paws and all! 🐶❤️ I’m available for walking and boarding, if you’d like to discuss specific times we can work these out together to ensure we get your pets needs met :) I will listen to any advice you give and look after in-line with your requests. I have crate trained dogs and have my own spare if needed.
About: I've grown up with dogs in the household and have always absolutely loved being around them. I'd love to have one of my own someday, but apartment life doesn't quite allow it yet, so I'd be more than happy to give your pup plenty of love, attention and care! I am a freelance graphic designer, so I make my own schedule. I can arrange my schedule around pet care easily, so give me a shout whenever you need your pet well looked after :) While I can't care for other pets in my own home as I have a very energetic cat (love him to bits), I am more than happy to come to yours when your pup or kitty need caring for <3
About: Hi I'm Giulia! I absolutely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I share my life with a highly trained Belgian Malinois, and my partner also works closely with working dogs, so I’m very comfortable handling intelligent, energetic and sensitive breeds, as well as maintaining consistent routines and calm handling. I often care for my friend’s dog when they’re away from feeding schedules to long walks, playtime and cuddles. Whether your pet loves adventure, gentle company or quiet companionship at home, I’ll make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I work three days a week (Thursday/Friday/Saturday) and after my gym session I have plenty of time on my days off. I would love to walk dogs and take care of animals in the countryside. Happy to do overnights with your pups! I have plenty of space in the garden for you puppy to have a wander, the garden has a fence all around so it’s pretty secure.

I would be delighted to help you out and help give your pet the attention they need. I am able to help with walking of your dog, playing with them & giving the love they need. I am also happy to give them company when you go away on holiday / on business trips etc. I also have 2 cats of my own and love playing with them and keeping her company so would love to give your cat the same attention too. I work part time so I have plenty of time to walk, feed and entertain your dog or cat. I am available most mornings/ afternoons and some evenings. I will listen to instructions given by you to make sure your pet is safe. I understand that every pet has different needs and their owners know them best. I will make sure your pet is able to stick to their usual routine to help build trust between myself and your pet.
About: I have years of personal pet care experience, also as my partner. And since we are helping on a regular basis our friends in their absence, we decided to extend our services to others which need someone to look after their family member when they are away. We enjoy hosting our friends' furry family members and give them the love they need. We are an active couple going regularly for walks in parks nearby us, we would also enjoy walks with your furry friend🐶. I'm working for my own company from home, so I create the schedule every day as is comfortable for me and my plans. For cats sitting I am available almost all the time if the kitty will be in our place, for visiting I will be mostly available afternoon and weekends, however I can make some exception and change my schedule if needed. We have a spacious flat where we can take one cat at the time or couple of them if they are from the same family and already know each other. We are keeping all doors in the house usually open so the pet can easily walk between the rooms with no problem.

About: Growing up I’ve always been around dogs, from little chihuahua‘s to Great Danes. I frequently dog sit my grandparents yorkie when they go away, and shes old and a little reactive. I can confidently say I can care for any size dog, however if your pup is on the larger side and has reactivity issues Im not the sitter for you as I don’t have the experience or knowledge to safely care for your pup. That’s not to say big dogs are a complete no! As long as they’re friendly I’ll be happy to meet a few fur friend of any size I currently work Friday mornings part time, so plenty of time for your pets needs. Im flexible with how long I can spend with your pet, wether they need to be with me 24/7 (there is an option for them to be able to come to work with me, however it involves a lot of car travel. Please feel free to ask more about this!) or just need some company for an hour whilst your busy I currently have one cat, and shes very low maintenance. I get most of my experience from pet sitting for family members or volunteer work at shelters. I currently am able to pet sit in your own home and drop-ins for any animal, as well as solo walks for dogs (group walks can be discussed if the dogs know each other well or live together!) Your pet will be played with and loved, and above all, cared for
About: I’ve had dogs all of my life and would love to have one of my own one day. I work full time but am available at weekends and during the school holidays. I are very active and passionate about animals. I often look after family pets but would like to help more people looking for dog sitters. I am available at weekends and during school holidays. I are very active and will love and treat your dog as if it was my own. I have a fenced garden but will ensure that your dog is taken out into open spaces throughout the day. I have a cat but he is very used to being around dogs!
About: Hey, I’ve owned pets all my life, grew up with dogs and have owned my own dogs for 5 years from a puppy. I recently rescued a young dog called Nemo, who has issues with her mobility due to a club foot. I’d love to run a doggy day care full time in the future so I’m taking the first steps towards that goal opening my home out to others. I work from home so I’m available to look after dogs throughout the day, my job involves occasional travel but I will know about this in advance, should it be a problem. I am a single mum, with a young boy called Rory. I share custody of him with his Dad so my availability varies depending on where he is. He loves dogs, and is great with them, however a toddler, my two dogs and any additional would be a bit much for me! My dogs Archer and Nemo are friendly, they absolutely love the company of other dogs and they’re always been happy to share their home when we have looked after relatives animals before. Depending on times of drop off/pick up I’m happy to take the dogs on walks along with their normal daily walks, they would love it! I currently work from home, with a small amount of travel required, which I know about in advance and can arrange pet care around this. We have an enclosed garden, stone fences all around. There is a separate dog room, to ensure maximum safety (nothing gets left lying around in there!) I work from home, so, I am on hand to let them out to play/use the toilet, and play with them as well.
“Another fabulous experience for our little pup with Veja and her family. We are now regulars of hers and have peace of mind that we are in good hands. Thanks a lot for your help and looking forward to August 😎”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 16. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I am very aware of animal resources in my community such as vet clinics, pet stores and dog friends parks. I currently work a 1 on 2 off shift pattern so I have 3-4 days a week free! I know my schedule well in advance and it very rarely changes. I have a fenced front and back garden. I have 2 dogs of my own to keep your pup company. I take my own dogs on at least 2 walks a day and would do the same with your fur baby too.
About: I have pet care experience since the age of 10 when I first got my dog, Barney! I now have another dog Rusty who is 4, and a tortoise named Toby. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles and rodents, with experience walking, feeding, bathing and playing! I absolutely love animals and would love to be able to help out with your animal needs. I am currently at university, so will update my calendar as frequently as I can and add in when i’m on half terms etc. Currently on a normal week (not on a break from uni) I will be able to do walks and drop ins from 4pm onwards on mondays and fridays & house sits on friday evenings and saturdays and sundays, drops ins and walks on saturdays 2pm onwards and all day on sundays! I aim to keep your pets routine as similar as possible and treat your home as if it’s my own, so you can feel assured that your pet is cared for and safe while you are away.
“Shernai was great for Freddie. It was our first time using this app, so concerns and overprotective thoughts regarding Freddie were always on our mind. However Shernai dealt with all of them in the nicest way possible, making sure to send us updates regarding Freddie and his wellbeing, he loved her! She gave him the nicest cuddles. It was a spot on choice to select Shernai to take care of him, will definitely contact her in the future !”

About: I have over 3 years of hands-on experience working in professional dog daycare and boarding services, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My role involved daily supervision, structured play, feeding, and ensuring each dog’s safety and wellbeing. I’ve also worked closely with dogs on training and behaviour improvement, helping to reinforce good manners, calm behaviour, and positive socialisation. This has given me strong skills in reading dog body language, managing group dynamics, and adapting care to suit individual needs. I’m passionate about providing reliable, patient, and attentive care, making sure every dog feels safe, stimulated, and happy while in my care — whether that’s on a walk, during a drop-in, or extended stays I attend sixth form during the week, which means I have a structured routine and am very organised with my time. Outside of school hours, I have many free hours available for pet care, including walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I also work one day a week on Saturdays at a dog daycare, which helps me continually build my experience and stay confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m able to give dogs focused, reliable attention alongside my other commitmentsX When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritise safety, routine, and trust. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, training cues, and any specific behavioural needs. With over 3 years of experience in dog daycare and boarding, I’m confident reading body language, managing behaviour appropriately, and ensuring pets remain calm and comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure doors, gates, and leads are always secure and that pets are supervised at all times. I treat every home with respect and responsibility, keeping spaces clean and tidy and providing regular updates for peace of mind. My goal is to ensure pets feel safe, well-cared-for, and relaxed while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible

Justina was absolutely amazing with Peach & Penny whilst recently away for 10 days. She gave them such a fuss, groomed them, gave them treats, whilst also being a fabulous photographer! The daily updates and photos made it that little bit less difficult being away from the girls, and I will gladly be back in touch when next needed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
