About: I’ve owned dogs, cats and horses but now (post career) simply love to take care of other peoples’ ‘pampered pets’ so it allows me the freedom to travel in between assignments. I retired from a 36 year corporate career job (a couple of leading global international private equity firms) on 6th December ‘22 and am now free 7 days a week to choose how I spend my time; I am already working as an independent Dog / House Sitter and offer Boarding in my home - a BESPOKE service (one on one) and have decided to expand my client base a little. On occasions I stay in the pet owner's home, currently I have one regular client who travels nine times per year. Dogs/pets receive a high level of care from me: health, wellness, nutrition, lots of exercise, relaxation (sheepskin rugs), good discipline but we have fun and play time - these things are important to me personally and pets deserve the best! I deal with all elements of animal care in a professional, health & safety oriented, caring manner and bring great life experience, common sense and a wide array of skills to the table. Everyone can be reassured their dog / pet is loved and safe with me in a calm and peaceful environment and I am an honorable and trusted person with a 36 year career in office and people management and mentoring behind me / project management / health & safety .

About: I’ve never had the fortune to have my own dog and I still don’t. This is why I consider each dog my own! I’m trying to fill a dog-shaped hole in my heart with yours. In doing so, my aim is to have you feel at peace that your fur baby is in responsible, responsive, and diligent hands while you’re away. I work from home multiple times a week. I’m happy to find an arrangement that works for everyone. I’m also free in the weekends and most evenings. I believe in respecting the pet owner’s space as you’re trusting us 100% with it. In my previous pet-sitting stints, I’ve always looked in on the house itself when I checked in on the pet. I’m also an avid plant lover and I’d love to keep an eye out for your prized possessions.

About: Registered Veterinary Nurse, 1 year qualifed, 8 years in the industry. Mum to my own 3 year old terrier & fosterer of the occasional cat that is waiting for their forever home! I work full time, flexible during evenings or Friday - Sunday. My partner is also very willing to help so we can be more flexible as a team! Can pet sit at your house, unable to accept cats at my own home as I have a dog. I also believe it reduces stress massively having them in their own environment. Can stay in your home with dogs, small dogs can stay at my home if this is something they would be comfortable with but as mentioned, I do have a dog so would be dependant on the circumstances!

About: In my 20’s during a live in role I had sole care for a rescued German Pointer requiring 8 miles exercise each day. I’ve more recently lived and worked on a farm and had full care in families regular absences of working dogs, highland cattle, chickens, kune kune piglets. Currently I work regularly as sitter for a number of labradors which included full care for a 10week old Labrador girl Lillie. This involved all aspects of toilet training and puppy care. Breeds to date as clients also include, Working Cocker Spaniels, Retrievers, Weimeraner, German Pointer, Vizlas, Boxer (puppy). I also care for two senior Labrador’s 11-14yrs of age both of whom have various health issues and hip problems. I am free to walk/sit dogs as well as walking my own working cocker spaniel along with for socialisation. I am free to dedicate my day to your pets care. I am used to staying in others homes along with their pets and keep to the pets usual routines as much as possible. I’m used to crate training, toilet training for puppies, long walks for working dogs, as well as easier walks for those with hip issues or elderly dogs.

About: I have a beautiful Border Collie called Buddy who I trained from a young pup. I’ve also spent a lot of time around animals growing up & have volunteered in an animal shelter while in Australia 😊 I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and characters! For dog day care I’ll stay with your dog up to 6 hours. If you need 6+ hours I may add an additional cost. The same applies to travel, if you’re based more than 15 miles away. I’m based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. I am a freelance marketer so have flexibility for dog sitting. If my calendar doesn’t show all date do ask just in case I’m free. I’ll spend quality time with your doggie including much needed play time, walks, regular toilet breaks, and anything else that is required. I can adapt to each dog :)

About: I've had my own dogs for over 15 years, and they have always been a vital part of my life. I have experience with dog sitting and boarding, and have a great knowledge of how to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes. I'm confident with what to do in an emergency, and you can guarantee that your dogs will be loved intensely when I'm around! I'm happy spending time playing with their toys, providing basic training, going for walks or just snugype. As such, a lot of my week is spent in solitary in my room as I do coursework. I'd be so happy to spend some of that alone time taking care of dogs, and spending my downtime making sure that no pup is isolated for too long. I work part time at a horse sanctuary on Saturdays and some Sundays and Mondays, but am otherwise available all day, including evenings and overnight. I work with you, the owner, in terms of safety (ie is your garden secure or do I need to keep them on lead? )

About: I have looked after several senior dogs including my last one, who has just died at 14. I have also trained a number of dogs including my own. I have cared for a 8 cats as well. I like to have animals around me. I have arthritis in my ankles so long walks are not for me and I have decided to wait a while before getting another animal as I miss my dog. I want to meet other dogs and cats and enjoy their company, whilst doing a task for their owners. I have commitments on a Tuesday & Thursday at 12.30 to 13.30 until 20 November, I'm now retired so am free a lot of the time. I would like to work on the middle of the week and keep Friday and Monday free. But am happy to work on Sundays. When my dog was alive we had a routine, a walk in the morning and one early evening. dinner would be in the evening, as he was not interested in breakfast, but I would be guided by the pet owner. playtime in the afternoon mainly.

About: PLEASE NOTE: I am only offering boarding and day care in the dog owners home, in effect, I would also be house sitting for the dog owner. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately I don't drive and can only take requests from dog owners who live near a bus route or train station. I have always had an affinity with dogs; or rather they have an affinity with me! Dogs I have never met before always bound up to me and want to play! I have a very calm and patient personality which I think dogs pick up on. This in turn calms them and makes them feel comfortable. I am also an artist and a lover of the outdoors, which means I am always aware of my surroundings, taking in information that could inform my art as well as the surroundings the dog is in - I take my time whilst walking dogs as it's important for them to explore the environment they are most comfortable in - the outdoors. I work part-time so I will be able to work round people's individual needs. I will block off on my calendar when I am unavailable I always follow sitters specific instructions regarding how well their dogs are around other people, other dogs and stick to specific areas permitted by the owner.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child as since joining the army I have not been able to have any and miss my two dogs who are at home with mum a lot there names are Ella and Dottie, ella is a golden retriever and Dottie a miniature dashound. I have looked after a friends dashound for 3 years on and off if he is on exercise, he has just left the army and will miss looking after Oscar. I have also done dog boarding/ house sitting for my boss at work, her dog is a cocker spaniel called Guinness that was for 5 days. I have looked after family’s pets if have been on holiday. Any dogs I will be looking after will get 3 walks a day one early morning at 0600, one at lunch between 1200 and 1330, a evening walk and a walk just before bedtime to make sure he/she is going to be comfortable at night. If pet is scared of fireworks or lightning please tell me, and what the plan is to happen if those events are going to happen. My dog Ellie is scared of fireworks and lightning she has to have tv on loud and lots of reassurance and thunder scarf on. As I live in a military camp I am able to do long walks on our sports field which is out of the way of any vehicles and is fenced off. I am unable to have dogs in my flat due to new rules from the army, I am able to come to yours if within 5mile radius mid week boarding, weekend boarding 10 miles+ with house sit.

About: I have had pets my whole life and looked after family, friends and strangers animals for over 10 years. I believe all animals deserve the best care from their owners and/ or pet sitters. I have experience administrating/ injecting diabetes medication for dogs and have looked after deaf, blind, big or small dogs. I’m currently working part time, so roughly 3 to 4 hours a day so pet care works really well with my schedule as there is no long periods where they are left alone! I have a secured garden where my own dog roams and has not managed to escape for 10 years! There is grass and lots of various things for them to sniff around and explore.

About: I have grown up with cats dogs, rabbits the whole lot!! We have had all ages, pups and seniors! I feel I am patient and loving! And understanding of different personalities ❤️ I work 4 days a week! luckily get 3 days off! Which is a blessing but during the week less so!! So have whole days/eves available to petsit! I am very lucky to be based on a farm! (In a ground floor apartment good for dogs with little legs!)it also means there are lots of walks nearby! I won’t be working if they are staying with me, so I will be able to give them my full attention! they will always be supervised!

About: I am 18 years old and have grown up with pets my whole life. I have access to a car and a full clean drivers license and therefore due to my love of animals decided a fun way to make some money before travelling with my friends next year would be to pet sit. I have pet sat in the past for friends, family and people who live in my village near bicester. I have previously looked after cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs as well as having previously owned two hamsters and a labrador. I currently have a 5 month old labrador puppy who I train with my parents therefore I feel extremely qualified and experienced with looking after young pets as well as an older pets. I often walk dogs for people in my village and have therefore gained skills in getting to know each pet separately and recognising their personalities and how they like to be treated. I am confident around all animals and pets, big or small and I am currently at home doing temporary work and therefore am around and available to pet sit. I offer dog walks and home visits. I am currently working part time at my local pub as well as with a hospitality agency based in central Oxford. Therefore, I am around at times during the day to walk dogs or conduct home visits. I have a young puppy and therefore am experienced in training and taking care of all ages of dogs. I am happy to give pets as much or little attention as they like as well as walking them for a desired amount of time.
