“Shay is lovely. We needed a sitter in a hurry and we're lucky Shay was available. Communication was good and she was very accommodating. Enough updates that we knew Laika was ok on her first stay, but not too many. It was in a really hot day, so Shay adapted walks, etc. to make sure laika could keep cool. I'm sure we'll use Shay again.”

About: I had a dog since I was 6 years old and took care of him through his diabetes as he grew older. I can administer insulin injections and eyedrops, and am good at getting dogs to swallow pills. Towards the end of my dogs life, I was able to feed him using syringes so am very experienced with older dogs, and can adapt to the individual needs of your dog. I have also dog sat for younger dogs as well as large dogs, so am able to deal with all ages and sizes. Im a university student, currently at home full time during my summer holidays. This means I will be available most times for pet care and am very flexible. I have a large garden with fences all around, making it impossible for the pet to sneakily escape, whilst providing a fun area for dogs to play in. I have air conditioning inside my kitchen so it will stay cool for the dogs during these hot summer days.
“Its Athena's second visit with Kellie and she was super happy to see Kellie, it's lovely to know that whilst I'm working they are enjoying each others company, Kellie really cares for dogs and is super reliable, I'm happy to have found her on rover”

“Eva is a fantastic sitter. From the very start, our miniature dachshund seemed completely at ease - I have never seen him so calm and quiet when I’ve left him with a sitter he’s never met before. She kept us updated with photographs throughout the day and we had absolutely no concerns about how he was doing. Eva was also so accommodating in terms of pick-up time - nothing seemed a problem. We would definitely be happy for Ziggy to stay with Eva again.”

“My partner and I are really pleased with the care and affection shown to Ziggy during his stay with Erika and her family! We met initially to break the ice between Ziggy and Leilla and they bonded very well. Erika was welcoming and as first time doggy day care goers made us feel at ease and secure knowing he was in safe hands. We have a holiday booked in October and will be happy to return Ziggy in Erika’s care for a longer period. Goes without saying I would recommend Erika to anyone looking for somewhere safe and fun for their furry companions!”

“Kai took excellent care of my girls, giving extra care and reassurance given the heatwave. Even my uber driver commented on how happy they looked when I went to pick them up :)”

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 35 years of experience caring for my own dogs, and I truly believe they should be treated with the same unconditional love and loyalty that they give us. I share my home with my husband and two friendly Border Terriers, who are very much part of the family. They have free access to our small, comfortable bungalow, so visiting dogs can enjoy a relaxed, homely environment rather than being confined to one area. We also have a small, secure, dog-friendly garden where your dog can safely enjoy some fresh air and outdoor time. I’m very security conscious, and your dog’s safety and wellbeing will always be my highest priority. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your beloved dog in someone else’s care. You can feel confident that while you’re away, your dog will be treated as one of the family, with plenty of attention, affection and care. With my genuine love of dogs, I will do everything I can to make their stay happy, comfortable and stress-free — giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. Your dog will be cared for, loved and looked after as if they were my own. ❤️🐶 I am now retired so have plenty of time to play with and care for your dog any day of the week. Weekends can sometimes be a little busy for me but I will try and accommodate if I'm given enough notice. I can provide doggy day care while you are at work or can pop in your own home a few times a day if required. If you are going on holiday for a week or two, I am happy to accommodate if given enough notice. I have a secure, fenced garden and my own two Border Terriers to keep your dog company and to play with. Inside the home we have a baby gate which we use when answering the front door for security. We have toys, a paddling pool and a tunnel.

Having grown up with dogs, cats, hamsters and chickens, I've spent years caring for, understanding, and enjoying the company of pets of all personalities. I know how much our furry friends mean to us, and I believe every pet deserves kindness, patience, attention, plenty of love and of course lots of fun and playtime too! 🦮 🐱 🐹🐇 Caring for pets is currently my full-time focus, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your furry family members. I'm happy to tailor my services to suit your routine and your pet's individual needs, helping to make things as easy and stress-free as possible for both of you. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I always follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel safe and relaxed in their own home. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or pet sitting, I provide plenty of attention, care, exercise, and affection while respecting your instructions and your pet’s individual needs.

About: Hi, My name is Jess and I have been dog walking professionally for 3 years and before that doing it on a ad-hoc basis while I was studying. I've always had a passion for animals and have been the go-to person for family and friends whenever they needed assistance with their pets. I love taking dogs for walks and caring for cats whenever I can. When I meet a pet for the first time, I make it a priority to learn all about them—their routine, habits, and personality and any health issues. Understanding these aspects is essential for me and making sure that the pet feels comfortable with me. This allows me to provide the best care possible, tailored to their individual needs. When I take a dog for a walk, I make it a point to provide a well-rounded experience. I ensure they get plenty of exercise while also allowing them to sniff and explore their environment, as that’s just as crucial as letting them run freely. One of my favorite activities is playing the “find it” game with treats. It’s a fantastic way to help them settle down after all the excitement of running around! I have a certificate of attendance that I have completed a CPD accredited activity in dog first aid and emergency canine care. I also carry a first kit around with me. As I'm currently living in a flat sadly I don't have a dog of my own but do have 3 fishes all named Gus! Known as the Gus's my wonderful guppy fish. Along side my fish I also share custody of the family dog Pumba (mini Yorkie 11 years old!) who is a lovable dog but lacks a braincell expect when it comes to food! When I was younger we had many family pets including hampers, degus and a very grumpy rabbit. So I would be willing to pet sit for your small furry friends. Looking forward to hearing from you, Jess I'm a self employed dog walker so this is my day to day which I love! I'm available all week to help with your pets. When I take care of your pet in your home I make sure I follow their routine to keep them as happy and calm as possible.
“Lauren walked our dog paddy for the week and the service was brilliant. Lauren was very understanding of paddy’s reactivity and had no issues walking him! He slept the whole day after his walk so we knew he was being well exercised and well looked after! Would highly recommend Lauren and would book again!”

About: While I am new to professional pet sitting as a business, I have a lifetime of hands on experience caring for animals. For 15 years, my family and I raised our beloved dog from a puppy into his senior years. This taught me everything about the daily dedication pets require, from basic obedience and strict feeding schedules to managing the specialised, gentle care that senior dogs need as they age. Additionally, for over a year, I have been an active volunteer at an animal rescue shelter. This experience has been invaluable. It has trained me to patiently work with dogs of various shapes, sizes, and backgrounds. Through the rescue, I am comfortable handling high energy dogs, shy or nervous rescues, and enforcing consistent training commands. I work in a hybrid mode, which gives me fantastic flexibility throughout the week. For House Sitting, I work from home half of the workweek and can keep your pet company during my working hours. I am also easily able to take your dog out for two quick wee breaks, as well as a nice, longer walk during my lunchtime. For Dog Walking and Drop-In Visits during weekdays, I am available to pop by during my lunch break between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, as well as anytime after 5:00 PM in the evenings. On Weekends, my schedule is completely free all day for any of these services to focus entirely on giving your pets the love and attention they need. Because I do not board pets at my own home, I focus 100% of my attention on caring for your pets in the comfort of their own area. Keeping them in their familiar environment dramatically reduces their stress. My priority is safety and trust. I strictly follow your specific instructions, maintain their usual feeding and walking routines, and keep your home secure.
“Natasha is a friendly and has great interpersonal person and fundamentally amazing with dog walking. She knows how to handle larger breeds like ours ans our boy clearly loved his walks with. Thanks Natahsha!”

About: I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs for over 6 years. Despite not having a dog personally at the moment, I have dog walked and sat for many of my friends and family over the years, either whilst living with them, house sitting or having them at our house. Including my colleague Vanessa Williams, I dog sat her Great Dane Roscoe and had the best time! Me and my dog loving partner Joe are based in Oldbrook, Milton Keynes. We have a small garden and lots of nature walks around us that are perfect for all doggo needs! I am a performer in the west end currently so I have a lot of my mornings and afternoons free as I work most evenings and weekends. So walking and drop ins are super easy for me currently, and can happily pet sit some days until 3pm. I have a fenced back garden and currently no pets at home so I can give all my love and attention to your pup. I also have a car so am happy to pick up dogs locally or travel locally to take them for walks in nature.
About: I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with extra feline qualifications providing cat sitting in the area. Happy to look after kittens, senior cats and everything in between . Also available to do dog walks or dog drop in visits. I work part time as a Veterinary Nurse and so I have plenty of time in the week to visit your pets and spend time with them. I can offer visits to feed and spend time with cats and give medication if needed. Whatever is required to make them happy and comfortable.
About: £15 Discount for new Rover users booking with me using my code: KINGKS98263 Our Love and Experience for Pet Care: Our genuine love for animals is matched by a wealth of hands-on experience. Growing up with two poodles who felt like siblings taught me early on how to give nurturing, attentive care. I was lucky to have the unique experience of helping deliver their five puppies and raising them until they joined my other family members’ homes, which gave me a deep understanding of caring for pets at every stage of life. I’ve had the joy of looking after more than 40 pets on my pet-sitting journey: dogs and cats of all personalities, sizes, and needs. From energetic 6-month-old puppies to senior dogs, to shy, reactive, or protective pets who require patience and trust-building, I’ve learned how to help every animal feel relaxed and happy! I’ve cared for an adorable 14-year-old dog under blindness, deafness, and medical conditions, needing daily medication and extra comfort; a strong hound in his prime who was initially aggressive toward people, and earning his trust until he walked calmly and happily following my lead. I’ve looked after tiny, timid Schnauzers, affectionate Labradors, playful Shepherd dogs, and many more. Cats, too; whether sociable cuddlers or independent souls, they always receive care tailored to their comfort and personality. We’re also skilled in training dogs, using positive, rewarding methods. We’ve been lucky to learn so much from our hands-on experience, applying what we’ve read and studied in real-life practice. Whether it’s helping them learn manners, reinforcing good behaviour, or teaching fun tricks, we aim to make training sessions rewarding and enjoyable for them! Above all, my goal is simple: to create a safe and loving environment where pets feel secure, understood, and truly at peace. Because to me, animals are family, and their trust is a gift I deeply value. Schedule: Pet care is a natural part of our daily rhythm because my partner is usually at home. This means pets in our care get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. We can easily adapt our schedules to match feeding times, walks, and any special needs: enjoy walks together, play games, or simply offer a cuddle. With usually at least one of us home, pets are never left alone for long, and we can keep a close eye on their comfort and well-being. Safety, trust & environment In our home, we’ve created a warm, calm, and pet-friendly environment where pets can quickly settle in and feel at ease. They’ll have cosy spaces to rest, whether that’s a pet bed, the sofa, or a quiet corner that mirrors their routine at home. We live in a safe, vibrant, dog-friendly building in Central Milton Keynes, with easy access to some of the city’s best green spaces for walks and outdoor enrichment. For quick toilet breaks and shorter walks, there are landscaped green areas right around our building and along the nearby boulevards. Just a short walk away is Campbell Park, a beautiful open park loved by local dog owners, with wide paths, open grass areas, and plenty of space for relaxed walks or playful sniffing sessions. We’re also close to the scenic routes of Ouzel Valley Park, where peaceful riverside paths and natural surroundings make longer walks enjoyable and enriching for dogs who love to explore. For more adventurous outings, we often visit Willen Lake or Furzton Lake, both popular local spots offering spacious walking routes, water views, and varied environments that help keep walks stimulating and tailored to each dog’s energy level and personality. When caring for pets in their own home, we bring the same level of attentiveness. We’ve house-sat in many different environments: apartments, houses with gardens, and homes without gated yards, each with its own safety considerations. We communicate closely with owners about routines, home security, and any specific instructions, ensuring both the pets and the home they’ve entrusted to us are cared for with respect. We also value cleanliness and always leave spaces tidy and fresh after our stay. Whether it’s boarding or house sitting, safety and trust are at the heart of everything we do. We’re always happy to share text, photo, or video updates so you can see your pets happy, relaxed, and enjoying their time with us.

“Used Anthony for lunch time walks whilst I was in the office for a week and he was very thoughtful of the heat and played with basil inside which was perfect. Also used for overnight sitting at my house and Anthonys level of comms and updates is fantastic but more importantly, as a single dog parent, I know that basil is being looked after whilst I am away by someone who genuinely loves animals and I couldn't ask for a better sitter. Thankyou so much”

This allows me to be flexible with my hours and i am able to work from any location. This gives me the time to help take care of other peoples fur babies. I live on a ground floor flat. So my cat has the freedom to come and go as she pleases with the window always purched open for her. I experience with many different types of dogs, big and small and nervous dogs, young and old i know how to manage each one acsording to their need. I know to listen to the owner and adapt how i approach each animal based on what i have been told.
About: Looking for a loving home-from-home for your dog? I’m Kellie, an experienced dog sitter in Milton Keynes with a secure fenced garden, no children or pets in the home, and plenty of one-to-one attention. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and you’ll receive regular photo updates while you’re away. I work three days a week, with a flexible schedule that changes each week, so I have plenty of time to care for pets. I’m happy to offer walks throughout the day and can adapt to your dog’s usual routine. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy long walks, whatever the weather. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but I have a genuine love for animals and treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. I live alone in a clean, calm home with a secure, good-sized garden where dogs can relax, play and feel safe. My priority is always making pets feel happy, comfortable and well cared for.

“Andrea is an expert at handling our German shepherd dog. Andrea is very organised, patient and reliable. He has a natural affection towards animals as well. Great dog walker! I recommend !”

About: I can manage most breeds from small to larger dogs. I am confident with multiple dogs at once if I have met them before, I previously lost my senior dog after 15 years and have fostered quite a few senior dogs since, but then went on to foster a XLBULLY for about a year until he found his forever home. I have previous experience in taking care of puppies including toilet training etc :) Currently studying from home so I have a lot of time to spare for animals. I have a son who is in secondary school and away at weekends with his dad so I’m able to look after pets over night, any time but also times when my son isn’t here if that is more convenient. I live in an apartment with a small fenced off patio/garden. I am local to dog parks and a big field when walking the pooches. I have one small Portuguese chihuahua who loves to make friends if your dog ever comes to stay, he is playful and friendly and also gentle with cats as my sister and my mum are cat owners and he basically thinks he is a cat too 😅
“Lucie has done a fab job walking our dog Luna, and Luna seems to really like her! Great communication and timekeeping, we will definitely book more walks with Lucie in the future ❤️”

“My boys had a lovely trial sleepover at Orsi’s. Orsi sent me an update in the evening and a photo of the boys relaxing. Orsi is very caring towards the dogs and ensured they were happy. Booked to stay again in May😊”

“Karen took absolutely brilliant care of Ivy. Ivy is a rescue and can be a little nervous around new people and situations but she was able to settle really easily around Karen, who put her at ease straight away. Absolutely would recommend.”

“Would 1,000,000% book again. Tim’s first time being left with someone he isn’t familiar with since we’ve had him. Lourdes, your regular updates were fab and the kindness and compassion you showed towards him was really meaningful for us. Especially as we were unsure if he would settle. Thank you so much. Tim had a lovely time and clearly felt very comfortable being with you!”

“Sabine was great with my Australian Shepherd. Before the date she asked lots of questions to make sure she gave my dog the right care. During her stay Sabine sent lots of photos and took her for walks.”

“Ollie spent the weekend with Jake and appeared very happy and settled. Jake sent pictures regularly, that reassured me he was happy. I would definitely use Jake again, and have no hesitation in recommending him.”

“Eva is so good, she has been amaizing. I have left my girl with her for 2 weeks which is a shelter dog, I adopted her at the end of April and it was her first time boarding and staying with a pet sitter. Eva is so organised, she took Oxa to the vet to have her booster, she gave her flea tablets, she has trained her to be more calm and to follow when having walks, she even bought a harness for Oxa and gave it as a gift to Oxa. She gave me advices, considering that Oxa is a shelter dog, which help me a lot. She answered to my messages even after the booking.Eva kept me up to date and sent pictures regularly too, which it was so reassuring. I definitely recommmend Eva, she has been briliant!”

“Rosy and her husband when fantastic and flexible especially when I had a breakdown on my way back to collect. They took excellent care of my dog and I would definitely look to book them again in the future.”

“We can’t thank Polly enough for taking care of Max. He had an absolute blast with Moses and her son Jesse. It was great to see updates to give us peace of mind. She looked after Max so well and you could see how content he was with them all. Definitely recommend Polly and will definitely have Max stay again in the future.”

“Nia has been fantastic. She was incredibly communicative and gave me constant updates on Teddy, which I love. He’s had the best time with her and it’s plain to see how good she is with dogs. I would definitely recommend Nia and will be sure to use her services again in the future.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Michelle (Shelley). She looked after our puppy last night, and he came home absolutely happy and settled. It was such a relief to see how comfortable he was and it really put our minds at ease. We’re so glad we’ve found Michelle and would definitely use her again going forward. Highly recommend!”

“Kellie is very good with Molly. After Molly had settled, they were happy together. We will certainly leave Molly with Kellie again for both a day sitting and overnight sittings”
“100% recommend Jonny. He provided a real home from home for our dog. He enjoyed having Logan to stay and Logan was very happy. Communication was good. We felt very confident that our dog was in safe hands and we will use Jonny again.”

About: I've had dogs since I was about 10, with a variety of breeds including a bearded collie, retrievers, a cross-bred rescue and my all time favourites, labradors. I enjoyed helping my parents train guide dogs too, and have used those skills many times over the years, helping train friend’s dogs when there was a need. I've also got plenty of experience looking after other people's dogs, as friends have often asked me to either babysit, drop in or fully take in their dogs when they've been away, something I've always been very happy to do, the latest being a fun mix with a shitshu with attitude and his very laid back buddy, an Alsatian😄 I don't have dogs of my own at the moment, however I would love to help other dogs if needed and is something I really enjoy doing, sometimes along with my partner. We are both very outdoorsy and love a dog walk, in all weathers! I'm available to help with any services for dogs at weekends (Fri evenings through to Sunday evenings) as I work full time in the week. We live in a house which has a large enclosed garden, and at all times, the utmost care is obviously given, with all rules and requests strictly adhered to. Photos will happily be provided, and I aim to please! As far as I'm concerned, anything else is unacceptable, as it's how I'd want my pets looked after.
“What a fantastic dog-sitter. King is clearly brilliant with dogs, and kept me updated with photos which was much appreciated. This was just for one night but I've immediately re-booked for a longer stay. It's great to know my Rhia is in such good hands.”

“Terry and his lovely family took such great care of our 15 year old goldendoodle while we were on holiday. They looked after her for 5 nights and provided us with reassuring updates during her stay with them. We are so pleased with the care she received and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for loving home away from home for their pets while they are away :)”
“Amber had a great time with Vicky for her two-week stay, and returned home very happy and content. We received regular reports, very reassuring, plus photos. Vicky is very attentive, caring and bonded well with Amber. Excellent service, thank you Vicky.”
