We hadn’t used pet boarding before, so wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but Kaitlin made the process reassuringly easy. It was a great comfort to know that both her and her husband are experienced handling and training dogs. The location is superb. Kaitlin kept us updated with photos, was flexible and responsive, and it was so reassuring to know Obi was well cared for whilst we were away. Would have no hesitation in using their services again. About: I’ve had two dogs of my own over the past 13 years, and they are truly like my children. I’ve also cared for dogs belonging to friends and family, and I’ll look after your dog with the same love, care and attention as I do my own. Dogs staying with me will be part of our normal home routine. I take my own dog for three walks a day, and we have a large open field right next to our home for plenty of space and exercise. Dogs are fed three times a day, with their usual routine and needs always taken into consideration. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my priority. Our garden is fully fenced and secure, and dogs are always kept under my supervision. Any potentially dangerous items are safely put away, and I am trained in animal first aid. I also make sure dogs are kept clean, comfortable and well cared for throughout their stay.

“Gemma and her family watched our Dachshund while we were out of the country for two weeks. Her communication was excellent in setting up the booking and doing a meet and greet and a single night stay beforehand. Gemma sent regular and detailed updates/photos while we were away. We were really nervous about leaving our dog as she had surgery a few weeks before our trip but Gemma was great with giving her medication and making sure we felt comfortable leaving her. My dog got along very well with Gemma's Bailey and they had a great time playing while we were away. I'm sure my pup would be happy going back to Gemma's anytime and I will definitely be rebooking her. I would highly recommend Gemma for any pet sitting needs! Thanks so much Gemma! About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with two German Shepherds and later three Labradors, as well as cats and rabbits. Once I got my own home, I’ve had a Frenchie x Staff, my beautiful Willow, and now my one-year-old Staff x Presa Canario, Wilfred. Willow was incredibly special to me and sadly passed away. She was the best thing in my life, and she taught me so much about the bond between a dog and their person. I’ve also regularly looked after dogs for family, friends and neighbours, including puppies, nervous dogs and older dogs. I’m comfortable getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting to their personality, routine and needs. I work full-time but have the flexibility to work from home 2–3 days a week — and I can also work remotely from your home if needed. This means I’m able to offer plenty of company and attention and can be flexible around your dog’s usual routine. I’m available for walks and drop-ins on my WFH days, as well as weekends and holidays. I’m also happy to look after your dog either in my home or in yours, depending on what works best for you and your dog. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. I’m used to dogs with different personalities, including puppies, nervous dogs and older dogs, and I’m happy to take things at their pace. My home is a relaxed, dog-friendly environment right next to a large park, with fields and woodland nearby for walks. Dogs are welcome on the sofas and beds and are treated as part of the family. My own dog, Wilfred, is a friendly and sociable one-year-old Staff x Presa Canario who is great with other dogs. I’m happy to give dogs their own space when they need it, and I’ll always follow the routines and instructions you provide.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have 12 years of experience caring for our family dog, Max, a Bichon Frise, as well as two cats. I’ve always loved spending time with animals and have really enjoyed the responsibility that comes with looking after them. My partner (Abz) and I are now living in Bucks and we’re keen to gain more experience caring for other people’s dogs before getting one of our own. We’re friendly, reliable and genuinely love being outdoors, so dog walking and sitting feels like the perfect way for us to spend our weekends while giving your dog plenty of care, attention and company! We have recently started looking after our family and friends pets and thought we could make it more official on here! I work as a Doctor so schedule can be variable in the week but weekends from Friday are available for dog walking and boarding. We spend most weekends outdoors walking/hiking so this will fit in easily with our normal schedule. We currently have no pets of our own but in a house with access to public green spaces. Dog can roam all 3 floors of the house and secure balcony.
