“We contacted Sky and Josh through Rover with less than a month’s notice after our original plans for looking after our almost-one-year-old Golden Retriever, Marshall, fell through and they were so accommodating from the very beginning! They have a lovely little dog called Shaggy, so they invited us over for a pre-meet beforehand so that Marshall and Shaggy could say hello and get to know each other... Unfortunately, on Marshall’s first night he had an upset tummy🫣 We had struggled to get hold of his usual food that week, and the temporary food we had to give him clearly didn’t agree with him 🫣 Thankfully, we managed to get some of his normal food on the day we dropped him off and his tummy quickly settled again 😅 Sky and Josh kept us updated throughout, which was really reassuring, and I was especially touched knowing that Josh sat with Marshall while he was clearly struggling with a tummy ache 🥺 Thankfully, after that first night, Marshall was absolutely fine. We received lots of lovely photos and videos of him having fun, enjoying lovely walks and getting lots of cuddles in the evenings. When we went to pick him up, we have honestly never known him to be so calm! Sky and Josh, along with Shaggy, had clearly kept him very well entertained and given him lots of enrichment and attention☺️ We felt completely reassured while Marshall was in their care and could tell that he was happy and well looked after. We would absolutely recommend Sky and Josh and would happily leave Marshall with them again in the future. Thank you both so much for giving Marshall a little holiday of his own🐾❤️”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life always had two dogs and have two cocker spaniels a girl and a boy Lenny is too and Luna is one very good with children very good with any animals. We walk an hour a day both my dogs are awfully dogs, but that isn’t a problem if your Dog is on a lead. We live in a beautiful town with lots of places to adventure. So I dropped my children off at school and then we go for a walk. This will be a long walk which is about an hour long and then we go home and snooze and then in the evening we go round the block. But of course each Dog is different some dogs don’t like to walk that far. I’ve got 2ADHD cocker spaniels that don’t walk they run. But they generally walk themselves come back every now and then say hello and then off they go again. I have a fenced off Garden and I also have two cocker spaniels that are very friendly with children and dogs. If your dog prefers to sleep in a crate, I have space for that also.

“Lucy and Matt took excellent care of Leon while we were away for 3 days. He stayed in their home and was clearly very well looked after and settled. They were very considerate during the heatwave, adjusting routines with early morning walks and making sure he was comfortable and not overexerted. Leon was kept well entertained throughout his stay, and we really appreciated the regular photo updates. He seemed happy and relaxed when we picked him up, which says it all. We would happily use Lucy and Matt again and would highly recommend them.”

About: I have always had dogs since I was very little all of shapes and sizes. I am currently undergoing some training in dog behaviours to help better understand and support any dog that steps into our home. I am free on the weekends and work from home in the week so I am ready to take care of your lovely doggies needs. I have a safe fenced garden for dogs to play in and a little puppy. I am happy to take your dogs on walks and also have a play pen and beds doted round the house for them to relax in. I am always well stocked on treats and toys to keep them entertained.

About: Having recently retired, I've found myself with some spare time and what better way to spend it than to look after dogs! I often look after our friends and families dogs on our family farm. I've looked after all ages, all temperaments and all breeds. I have been around dogs most of my life. For the last 19 years we have had dogs ourselves, we had our darling Bailey, a golden lab who died at 16 and now Grace, our black lab who's 11.5. I am recently retired, and while I do spend some time looking after my grandchildren, I feel like I will have the time to look after your pets! I live on a farm surrounded by fields, with a garden which is partially fenced. I have one gentle labrador to keep yours company or if your dog prefers their own space, I can accommodate this. As with all farms the kitchen is the hub of the home and the dogs get the prime spot infront of the aga.

Mornings start with a little time in the garden, followed by a lovely walk on the nearby common or through the woods. There’s plenty of time during the day for exploring, playing, relaxing and, of course, lots of cuddles! I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, including their feeding times, walks and rest periods. Some dogs love being on the go, while others are happiest having a cosy nap — I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs. We have a safe, secure garden and a comfortable bungalow where dogs can relax and feel at home. My own little dog is very friendly and enjoys having canine visitors, so there is always a friendly companion around. I want every dog who stays with me to feel that they’re having their own little holiday — safe, loved and very much part of the family. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my priority. I provide a calm, caring and secure home environment where dogs can relax and feel comfortable. I have a safe, secure garden and live in a bungalow, so there are no stairs to worry about.
