Sue's own Dog Barney also makes the comfort and confidence needed to initiate a support service for our family holiday abroad much easier seeing Barney with a very calm and gentle character - WILLOW swiftly settled on the trial visit. SUE's set up is nicely accessible, lovely home too. Removing all those concerns and worry's that our Dog Sitter is that famous phrase 'SAFE HANDS', allowed our holiday to be stress free. “Our experience with Liz (Lisa-Marie) and her partner Alex was nothing short of amazing 🤩. I was so nervous and anxious about leaving my baby boy Kaiser for the first time but they were so reassuring and accommodating that by the time we actually left him, we were as comfortable as we were ever going to be. We met with them both beforehand at their home and they instantly took to Kaiser once we stepped in. He’s an extremely big (75+kg) but quite nervous and clingy dog, but he felt comfortable with them both right away. They even agreed to take him on a little walk near their home just to make sure that both him and they were comfortable with each other. Liz and Alex sent me multiple pictures and videos every single day while I was away allowing me to see exactly how happy and content my dog was the entire time I was away which was an amazing help for me. I could see that they showed him all the love and affection that he needs and is used to receiving from me when at home. Rather than me collecting my dog at the end of the boarding (like most people would), I required him to be dropped off to my friends home to which again, Liz and Alex were extremely accommodating and agreed to do so with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever. Liz and Alex made what I thought would be a really tough time, an absolute pleasure and allowed me to enjoy my holiday away completely relaxed and stress free. I would 100000% recommend them to anyone wishing to have their precious dog(s) looked after. They are both really lovely people that you can clearly see love and adore dogs and will treat them like their own. I can’t thank them enough for their services and will most certainly use them again if and when needed.”

About: I have plenty of cat care experience, mostly learnt over my time working at the national animal welfare trust. This invloved working with strays and boarding cats, including grooming, weighing, health checks, medication administering, specialised diets and many more. This allowed me to learn how to deal with all types of cat temperament. I also fostered a senior cat, Daisy, who sadly passed away March of 2025 from many health issues. Although, she had a comfortable, loving end to her life, surrounded by loved ones instead of a cattery.

“I can’t recommend lisa and Alex enough. They stayed in our home for 2 weeks and our pets and house were so well looked after. They sent sent daily photos which often showed my fur babies stretched out on top of lisa giving cuddles, showing how much they had bonded. The house was well looked after and we came back to a clean well kept home. As soon as we met them they made us feel confident about their experience and love of animals. About: I've been living with dogs and cats for almost all my life and growing up with them taught me what a real best friend is. I became a volunteer in my country in a pet house and I took care of lots of homeless dogs and cats... between puppies and adults.. and the ones pregnant too! My house was their house.. that's why I ended up adopting 7 dogs and 10 cats... with one of my dog I attended lessons at the dogs education school where I improved my knowledge about their behaviour, their fears, how to behave with them, as well as how to teach them common commands like sit down, give me five, or lay down, stay, walk by my side etc.. Being a volunteer as well was helpful to get better with the different type of food depending on their size, age , hair or special needs, lots of different medicine, but especially spending time with them I realised how much they can give to us.. together we play, we sleep, we go to the beach or for a walk.. together we spend special time, and time is the most beautiful gift you can give. Since I moved to UK, I've been missing my pets each day.. I'd be grateful to spend time with yours.. you won't regret!

About: Hello, I am Lauren! I have taken care of many dog breeds, anxious or over excited and have been brought up with all kinds of dogs since I was young. My dad used to breed Alsatian’s and my granddad also trained Doberman’s. No dog is an issue, no task is a problem. Whatever your pet needs they will get :) I work for CBC and only look after 1 dog, board 1 dog at any given time, this isn’t my main job and therefore I stick to these rules and unless you have 2 pooches from the same household I cannot be lenient on this so my bookings do go quickly! I board for long stays at my own home and happy to do drop ins but boarding at your home are not possible as I have a 7 year old and insurance only covers me from my home. My property has a lovely garden, fenced and fake grass and i am not precious about poo and wees plus they would be walked daily around the local countryside and to note the property is gated so completely safe, however, I encourage meet and greets each time to ensure the owners are completely comfortable. Especially if your pooch is classed as large. The pooch will have company by my 7 year old who is in love with all shapes and sizes of dogs. Please note: I will not accept any pooches with anxiety towards children. They must be house trained. I will charge for any accidents they require intense cleaning. Please contact if have any questions. Lauren The routine will always be discussed with the owner and honesty is paramount from all parties. Preferred method would be having this documented so both parties are happy with the care in place for the pooch. Any specific instructions like key access must be sent via a private route to protect properties. My home is gated and fenced garden. Security at the home is brilliant. I have had no problems ever reported with run aways or lost pooches.

About: Sadly we lost our boy a year ago, so since then we have been looking after lots of doggies to get our fix of walks and cuddles. We both grew up with dogs and brought our children up to be dog lovers. We love taking our borrowed pets for lots of walks over the fields and playing with them in our garden. About: I have had dogs at home for most of my life. From the big ones like German Shepherds to the very small ones like Yorkshire Terrier. My friends and family always rely on me to look after their pets when they go away. We have a daughter and a toddler boy who are both dog and cat lovers. I'm currently not working as I'm a university student that is home for summer, so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets. About: I’ve looked after a few dogs I have also used to foster dogs and every single one of them have brought a smile on my face each day My special skill is being patient whilst training they will always get their in the end no matter how long it will take to get where your fluffy friend want to be I used to have a black lab since he was a puppy it was quite challenging at first when he wanted to chew everything in the house I would always try keeping him distracted like putting treats in chewy toys spent a lot of time outside playing and telling him no when he tried to and praised him when he had listened I am currently not at work as I have been struggling with my mental health and pets always bring the light back I don’t currently have any pets so it’s a struggle to be in a schedule but most of the time I am always at home and sometimes my neighbors cat comes and visits me I am always free I live in a flat and share a garden with my neighbor who lives downstairs however the garden is split into 2 and fenced so we have our own space When I used to foster dogs I would go for about 20 to 30 min walk in the mornings and about an hour in the afternoon/evening time I would also play with them a lot of the times if they haven’t gotten all their energy out during the walks

About: I’ve always had a dog in my home for as long as I can remember so have a true love of them, I have taken care of other dogs since the age of 15 including boarding and simple drop by. I am also training to be a vet at university and have other qualifications in animal care and welfare that I studied prior and during university I am currently at university however am looking for summer work mostly around July-August perfect for those going on holiday for the school summer holidays I used to take my dog out at least once a day if not twice, her feeding routine was twice a day and this has been similar to most dogs I have taken care of, some dogs need more exercise then others and that I will take into consideration. I often wake up early and let my animals out to the toilet at this time. Routine varied depending upon the household so I am more then happy to take into consideration the routine normally set by owners such as yourself :)

My flat is never stuffy so there will always be fresh air and I am happy to have a dog bed, or crate, any toys they may like and also allow paws on the sofa as long as they aren’t muddy haha. Your pet will be safe in my home and not be left alone at any point. About: I have grown up with dogs and our wedding present from dad was a beautiful black lab. Family all love dogs and the open countryside. We have one dopey old lady lab who is shy but caring. Fully insured and will provide lots of fun, exercise and petting for your best friends. I have recently retired early so have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I can brush throw sticks and just have fun with them. I occasionally go to the beach with my lab and they would be welcome to join in the splashing. Rest also good in our sunny fenced garden I have a large fenced garden overlooking quiet countryside. I can cage if they/you like for rest otherwise the ground floor home is all theirs to share.

“Our experience with Liz (Lisa-Marie) and her partner Alex was nothing short of amazing 🤩. I was so nervous and anxious about leaving my baby boy Kaiser for the first time but they were so reassuring and accommodating that by the time we actually left him, we were as comfortable as we were ever going to be. We met with them both beforehand at their home and they instantly took to Kaiser once we stepped in. He’s an extremely big (75+kg) but quite nervous and clingy dog, but he felt comfortable with them both right away. They even agreed to take him on a little walk near their home just to make sure that both him and they were comfortable with each other. Liz and Alex sent me multiple pictures and videos every single day while I was away allowing me to see exactly how happy and content my dog was the entire time I was away which was an amazing help for me. I could see that they showed him all the love and affection that he needs and is used to receiving from me when at home. Rather than me collecting my dog at the end of the boarding (like most people would), I required him to be dropped off to my friends home to which again, Liz and Alex were extremely accommodating and agreed to do so with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever. Liz and Alex made what I thought would be a really tough time, an absolute pleasure and allowed me to enjoy my holiday away completely relaxed and stress free. I would 100000% recommend them to anyone wishing to have their precious dog(s) looked after. They are both really lovely people that you can clearly see love and adore dogs and will treat them like their own. I can’t thank them enough for their services and will most certainly use them again if and when needed.”

“When searching four someone’s suitable to watch our two dogs, we had the choice of several sitters. Lucky for us Laura was prompt in her responses so we moved forward and met with her. After meeting Laura and her dog, we knew that’s where we would like our dogs to go because you can tell her love for her pets which we hoped would continue onto ours. She kept us up-to-date with the going on of our dogs with photos and texts, she was honest if there was an issue, and again, she was prompt with replies. As long as Laura continues to pet sit, we will be using her again.”
About: Neil and I are passionate animal lovers offering a calm, loving environment for dog boarding. We cared for our Beagle for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away due to illness, which gave me valuable experience with dog care, routines, and companionship. We’ve also looked after family dogs including Cockapoos and Labradors, and regularly care for our neighbours’ cats and dogs while they are away on holiday. Since we’re not quite ready for another dog of our own yet, Rover feels like the perfect way to continue sharing our home and care with dogs. I work from home full-time, and Neil predominantly works from home as well, so there will almost always be one or both of us at home with any boarded dogs throughout their stay. We have a large living area with patio doors leading to a secure, fenced grass garden that dogs can enjoy all year round. Because we work from home, we’re able to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. We can also take dogs out for walks during breaks, lunch, and in the evenings, so it’s very normal for dogs staying with us to enjoy up to three walks a day depending on their needs and routine. We’re also happy to adapt to older dogs or those who prefer a slower pace and quieter routine. Neil and I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. As one or both of us work from home most days, dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and care throughout their stay. We have a secure fenced grass garden and always follow each owner’s routines and preferences carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, and any special requirements. We’re also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while owners are away.
