About: Hi there! We’re Katie & Dan, and we’d love to look after your dogs in our own home in Meppershall . We are very experienced owners and love all dogs. We live in a large detached house in Meppershall, with plenty of space and a secure & safe fenced back garden. We both work from home, so our schedule allows us to look after your dog/s during the day, for the evening or overnight stays, whilst you work, attend an appointment, have social occasions or go away on a trip. We have two medium size hounds who are Petit Basset Griffon Vendeens. Sonny is 5 and Clara is 18 months old. If you live local to Meppershall you may have seen us out walking them in the village & fields. They are extremely friendly & happy dogs who are happy to welcome new furry friends. We prefer to arrange a visit before accepting bookings, to make sure your dog/s are happy & comfortable here and get along ok with our dogs. We will include daily walks within your pets stay, either solo or group , depending on what’s best suited to your dog. We have lots of experience looking after dogs, both our own and friends & relatives . From puppies to senior dogs. Including looking after dogs with long term conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy, so we’re comfortable giving medications as directed if required. We will send you regular updates and photos/videos on your pet’s stay, so you can see they are happy & well cared for. “Absolute rockstar ? - I could not recommend Wendy high enough! I am an overbearing pawrent of a pandemic Pomeranian girl, who is a complete princess with a temperament and a sassy attitude. After initially meeting Wendy at her place a month before our planned boarding, I was happy to see that Wendy made sure to take notes about Mia’s schedule and preferences as well as all the medical and important information, I did of course bring a printout on the day as well, but it was nice to know Wendy was a responsible person. She also has an adorable young doggie, whom Mia loved to annoy during her stay! We received updates and videos of the pooches’ well-being and after receiving a photo of my furry one cuddling up to Wendy- I was even more impressed with how Wendy must have been with Mia! I am so happy to have found someone I can entrust my precious pup to!!! Best of the best!”
“Our experience with Liz (Lisa-Marie) and her partner Alex was nothing short of amazing 🤩. I was so nervous and anxious about leaving my baby boy Kaiser for the first time but they were so reassuring and accommodating that by the time we actually left him, we were as comfortable as we were ever going to be. We met with them both beforehand at their home and they instantly took to Kaiser once we stepped in. He’s an extremely big (75+kg) but quite nervous and clingy dog, but he felt comfortable with them both right away. They even agreed to take him on a little walk near their home just to make sure that both him and they were comfortable with each other. Liz and Alex sent me multiple pictures and videos every single day while I was away allowing me to see exactly how happy and content my dog was the entire time I was away which was an amazing help for me. I could see that they showed him all the love and affection that he needs and is used to receiving from me when at home. Rather than me collecting my dog at the end of the boarding (like most people would), I required him to be dropped off to my friends home to which again, Liz and Alex were extremely accommodating and agreed to do so with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever. Liz and Alex made what I thought would be a really tough time, an absolute pleasure and allowed me to enjoy my holiday away completely relaxed and stress free. I would 100000% recommend them to anyone wishing to have their precious dog(s) looked after. They are both really lovely people that you can clearly see love and adore dogs and will treat them like their own. I can’t thank them enough for their services and will most certainly use them again if and when needed.”

I have my own Labrador, Billy, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog and treat them as part of the family. About: I have plenty of cat care experience, mostly learnt over my time working at the national animal welfare trust. This involved working with strays and boarding cats, including grooming, weighing, health checks, medication administering, specialised diets and many more. This allowed me to learn how to deal with all types of cat temperament. I also fostered a senior cat, Daisy, who sadly passed away March of 2025 from many health issues. Although, she had a comfortable, loving end to her life, surrounded by loved ones instead of a cattery.

About: I've been living with dogs and cats for almost all my life and growing up with them taught me what a real best friend is. I became a volunteer in my country in a pet house and I took care of lots of homeless dogs and cats... between puppies and adults.. and the ones pregnant too! My house was their house.. that's why I ended up adopting 7 dogs and 10 cats... with one of my dog I attended lessons at the dogs education school where I improved my knowledge about their behaviour, their fears, how to behave with them, as well as how to teach them common commands like sit down, give me five, or lay down, stay, walk by my side etc.. Being a volunteer as well was helpful to get better with the different type of food depending on their size, age , hair or special needs, lots of different medicine, but especially spending time with them I realised how much they can give to us.. together we play, we sleep, we go to the beach or for a walk.. together we spend special time, and time is the most beautiful gift you can give. Since I moved to UK, I've been missing my pets each day.. I'd be grateful to spend time with yours.. you won't regret!
“Couldn’t be happier with the service that Jamie provided :) Jamie stayed with my cat toothless for 4 days while we were on holiday, Jamie followed all instructions given and even tidied my house for me before we came home ! Jamie took extra time and precautions when looking after my cat as I have quite bad pet anxiety. Jamie took all worries away and I enjoyed my holiday throughly!! “I can’t recommend lisa and Alex enough. They stayed in our home for 2 weeks and our pets and house were so well looked after. They sent sent daily photos which often showed my fur babies stretched out on top of lisa giving cuddles, showing how much they had bonded. The house was well looked after and we came back to a clean well kept home. As soon as we met them they made us feel confident about their experience and love of animals. About: I have grown up with dogs and our wedding present from dad was a beautiful black lab. Family all love dogs and the open countryside. We have one dopey old lady lab who is shy but caring. Fully insured and will provide lots of fun, exercise and petting for your best friends. I have recently retired early so have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I can brush throw sticks and just have fun with them. I occasionally go to the beach with my lab and they would be welcome to join in the splashing. About: Neil and I are passionate animal lovers offering a calm, loving environment for dog boarding. We cared for our Beagle for 12 wonderful years before she sadly passed away due to illness, which gave me valuable experience with dog care, routines, and companionship. We’ve also looked after family dogs including Cockapoos and Labradors, and regularly care for our neighbours’ cats and dogs while they are away on holiday. Since we’re not quite ready for another dog of our own yet, Rover feels like the perfect way to continue sharing our home and care with dogs. I work from home full-time, and Neil predominantly works from home as well, so there will almost always be one or both of us at home with any boarded dogs throughout their stay. We have a large living area with patio doors leading to a secure, fenced grass garden that dogs can enjoy all year round. Because we work from home, we’re able to give dogs plenty of attention, companionship, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. We can also take dogs out for walks during breaks, lunch, and in the evenings, so it’s very normal for dogs staying with us to enjoy up to three walks a day depending on their needs and routine. We’re also happy to adapt to older dogs or those who prefer a slower pace and quieter routine. Neil and I provide a safe, calm, and loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. As one or both of us work from home most days, dogs are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, regular walks, playtime, and care throughout their stay. We have a secure fenced grass garden and always follow each owner’s routines and preferences carefully, including feeding, walks, medication, and any special requirements. We’re also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while owners are away.

About: Sadly we lost our boy a year ago, so since then we have been looking after lots of doggies to get our fix of walks and cuddles. “Our experience with Liz (Lisa-Marie) and her partner Alex was nothing short of amazing 🤩. I was so nervous and anxious about leaving my baby boy Kaiser for the first time but they were so reassuring and accommodating that by the time we actually left him, we were as comfortable as we were ever going to be. We met with them both beforehand at their home and they instantly took to Kaiser once we stepped in. He’s an extremely big (75+kg) but quite nervous and clingy dog, but he felt comfortable with them both right away. They even agreed to take him on a little walk near their home just to make sure that both him and they were comfortable with each other. Liz and Alex sent me multiple pictures and videos every single day while I was away allowing me to see exactly how happy and content my dog was the entire time I was away which was an amazing help for me. I could see that they showed him all the love and affection that he needs and is used to receiving from me when at home. Rather than me collecting my dog at the end of the boarding (like most people would), I required him to be dropped off to my friends home to which again, Liz and Alex were extremely accommodating and agreed to do so with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever. Liz and Alex made what I thought would be a really tough time, an absolute pleasure and allowed me to enjoy my holiday away completely relaxed and stress free. I would 100000% recommend them to anyone wishing to have their precious dog(s) looked after. They are both really lovely people that you can clearly see love and adore dogs and will treat them like their own. I can’t thank them enough for their services and will most certainly use them again if and when needed.”
