“I can go off to work happy, knowing Lola will have a great time being walked by Georgina.”
2. Elleyse R.
“Elleyse R has stayed in our home on two occasions for 7 days each time to care for our elderly cat Maisie. Aside from petting, feeding and entertaining Maisie, Elleyse respects our home as if it was her own. Being elderly Maisie is mainly indoors and Elleyse gives her both the attention and space she needs. Maisie has the run of the house and to ensure her comfort, Elleyse even allows bed time snuggles if Maisie demands them. I have no concerns leaving Elleyse in my home, caring for my pampered fur baby ❤️”
3. Hollie W.
“Having known Hollie for several years, I can honourably say that she is an excellent and responsible carer for animals, as well as a loving owner of her own dog Oscar. Hollie would give a reliable and trustworthy service to anyone on Rover!”
4. Laura O.
“Laura was great with Pelly, no problems at all would definitely recommend! Thanks Laura”
5. Grace H.
“Grace has been amazing with our 2 dogs. She has been caring for them for day/evening and weekend visits when travelling for nearly 2 years now and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her. It’s evident that Grace loves animals and it’s really comforting to know that when you’re away from your fur babies they are being looked after and treated just as you would yourselves. Thanks Grace for enabling us to switch off whilst away knowing our pickles are in safe hands. Would highly recommend!”

About: I've had rescue dogs all my life so I'm familiar with anxious and wary pups. My current dog is senior and I work hard to accommodate her needs everyday and ensure she is comfortable and confident in her later years. She is also a very anxious dog so I have alot of experience with walking a particularly wary dog. I've trained basic tricks in multiple dogs and encouraged one to overcome her fear of walks. I was of a small business specialising in handmade pet accessories that we sold worldwide! Because of this I've seen the full range of dog and cat breeds and am familiar with most. I've got a keen interest in pet behaviour and body language and love learning. As I am self employed and work from home on weekdays, I am very flexible. Currently I look after a friend's pets whenever she needs and can reliably travel when necessary. I can follow instructions to ensure your pet is looked after exactly how you would like. I understand that everyone has a personal routine with their own pet and I'm more than willing to follow your lead when it comes to making your pet comfortable.

About: Having had a family dog all my life I’m use to every trick they can play! I’ve also walked neighbours dogs and looked after friends dogs whilst they enjoy their holiday! I work from home 3 days a week and have a fun and flexible 8-4 job! And on my weekends I love getting out walking! I have a fenced garden and a flexible manner which means what your dogs use to I will accommodate to provide - even allowing for cuddles on the sofa!

10. Niki S.
“Never used Rover before or any dog walking sites but I am really glad I did, Niki is a lovely person and felt at ease with her from the first visit, Ella and Milly love their walks with Niki, Milly is a bit anxious and nervous around people she doesn’t know but Niki perceived with her and Milly was at ease with her on her walk, will be using Niki regular, even booked Niki to house sit whilst we go away in June for a week!”
11. Thaiza R.
“Thaiza is the person-to-go-to when you need a loving and caring place for your fury baby to stay, be it a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Every time I drop my dog off at Thaiza’s, Lola runs into Thaiza’s house and make herself at home. It’s very clear how much Lola loves being looked after by Thaiza. Thaiza sends me regular updates and photos of Lola, which I appreciate it very much. Thaiza also accommodates all of Lola’s needs to help her settle as quick as possible. I can’t recommend Thaiza enough.”
12. Abigail T.
“Abigail has looked after all my dogs at different stages and she could not provide a better service! They never want to come home! Long walks and all dietary requirements met - she could not do more for them. She loves to have the dogs with her and they definitely love her. We also contact Abigail when we need help with our dogs and would recommend her to anyone looking to have their pooch looked after. 10 out of 10!”
13. Sophie S.
“Sophie has taken care of my two dogs Esme and Timmy on a number of occasions in their own home and also taken them for many walks! She is brilliant with my dogs, very caring and loving towards them. She genuinely cares for animals and has an affinity for them. My dogs love her and I trust her to look after them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sophie to anyone looking for a kind and responsible person to care for their pets.”

About: I’ve looked after animals since I can remember, owning dogs, cats and horses myself so knowing the importance of making sure my pets are well looked after when I’m absent. As well as my own I have regularly looked after family and friends dogs from Old English Sheep Dogs to Miniature Chihuahuas. I aim to make their stay as relaxed as possible and keep to their usual routine so they barely notice they are away from home. Myself and my partner work from home permanently so we can fit around any routine preferences. We enjoy morning and evening walks with our own dogs and have access to some great countryside just a minute walk away from our house. We have a secure garden so a safe space for your pet to run around and safely take toilet breaks. If your dog doesn’t mix well with other dogs that is something we can cater for too so please get in touch. Our dogs are part of our family and we would look forward to welcoming yours in too with lots of fuss, walks, secure toilet breaks and garden time.

About: I have had years and years of experience with animals. I have had pets in the family since an early age. Dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs…even fish. I enjoy being outdoors and love long walks, in any weather. I am attentive to animals and can tune in to what their needs are. I feel I can understand when animals need space, exercise or just snuggles. I have had lots of experience in dog walking with my own as well as helping friends out when needed. I’m currently out of work for a few months and after some work hours to keep me motivated and busy. I am available between 9:30 and 4pm most days When caring for your pets, I will follow safety and boundaries as you’d expect. I will keep dogs safe on leads when walking until trust and recall has been built. And when I’m confident they’ll return! I will make sure items are locked away and stored correctly (I know some dogs love socks) and homes are left tidy.

About: I’m a very bubbly and reliable person as well as a huge pet lover! I have owned 3 dogs and 2 cats and since I was 13 I have been looking after the family dogs like they were just mine, taking them out for walks everyday and feeding them and playing with them. I had a Labrador from the age of 2-14, and we also adopted a border terrier when I was 9. My Labrador, Honey, sadly is no longer with us but the border terrier, Maisie, is still part of the family! Most recently during lockdown we rescued a border collie Labrador mix and named her Bella. She’s 5 years old now and the most energetic, chatty dog you’ll ever meet. I’ve looked after a few of my friends’ cats and dogs previously, mainly doing home drop-ins and taking the dogs for walks. I also used to walk my neighbours’ dogs between the ages of 14-17 for some extra pocket money. I’m very gentle and caring and I love giving pets the love they deserve. I am available everyday and would be able to do drop ins and walk your dogs around my work schedule where I either do early or late shifts 4 days a week. So I am free either before or after 2pm usually on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. I’m free all day Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday as those are my days off. I have a car so I’m happy to drive 20 minutes max from where I live, this also makes it easier for me to take your dogs for nicer walks if they’re comfortable being in a car. I work 4 days a week leaving me with Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays completely free and all other days I’m free before or after 2pm. I am happy to drop in a few times a day to keep your pets company, play with them and take them out for walks.
