About: Sadly we lost our boy a year ago, so since then we have been looking after lots of doggies to get our fix of walks and cuddles. We both grew up with dogs and brought our children up to be dog lovers. We love taking our borrowed pets for lots of walks over the fields and playing with them in our garden. I have put 15 years of experience in my profile to reflect how long we have owned a dog together in this house. 45 years of dog loving makes me look far too old! We have been actively dog sitting since Harry died a year ago. My husband and I are both home all day so we can give your dog our full attention at all times. Occasionally our children may be home from university (one of whom is training to be a vet) and both girls love being around dogs, and always have lots of cuddles to give. We had a dog for 15 years until recently and understand the need for a dog safe house and garden. Our house is open plan so dogs often come up to our room to sleep at night, but they could be shut into our hallway if you would prefer. We are surrounded by fields so long country walks are a pleasure.
About: I have had dogs at home for most of my life. From the big ones like German Shepherds to the very small ones like Yorkshire Terrier. My friends and family always rely on me to look after their pets when they go away. We have a daughter and a toddler boy who are both dog and cat lovers. They are super curious and gently with all the animals they interact with. My partner Chris has lived with dogs and cats (fish and hamsters) throughout his life and is avid about animals in general. Please be assured that we will love and care for your dog and / or cat as if it were our own. I work from home most days and Chris works from home a few days of the week as well, so I would probably be the one taking your dog out for a walk during the day or able to visit your home to check on your pets. We don’t have any set commitments most weekends and may be available at short notice if needed. We live in a good sized house with a fenced garden in Flitwick. We enjoy taking the dogs for walks in the park. If your pet requires a certain diet or medication regularly we can handle this as we have past and current experiences with our own pets and that of family and friends. I am working from home most days and Chris works from home a few days a week. Our daily routine would normally be playing with the dogs and kids in the garden and also taking them for a walk. I have a closed fenced garden and I also prefer keeping them on the lead when walking on the street or walking in the park.
“Florence is a delightful person who shows such passion for my dogs. I felt so reassured by her loving careful attitude to my pups. They had a lovely walk with her other dogs and they came home full of beans and slept all afternoon. I would highly recommend Florence I felt my dogs were well looked after and safe at all times.”

My genuine love for animals drives everything I do, and I am committed to offering reliable, compassionate, and attentive care to every pet entrusted to me. Available all day Wednesdays and Weekends . “Georgina was great with my little Yorkie, very patient and kind. I highly reccomend Georgina, she is reliable and sent regular updates of walks with photos and routes taken 😊”

About: We have a family pet called Nellie who is a 5 year old cockatoo. I also have a 6 year old socially anxious rescue cat and newly taken on a small kitten. I have experience with most house pets and always love to give fuss and play. I currently work as a teacher so have weekend availability as well as all school holidays. I’m happy to do any evenings and stay in homes when needed. My own pets consist of cats who both have different relationships with me. They respond to their names and understand clear boundaries. They both have options to play and remain separated and feel safe to walk away without being followed. They’re both very chirpy and affectionate and love a good cuddle
“Kate arrived 10 minutes early which suited me perfectly as I was behind on my schedule as usual! Kate was polite & pip took to her immediately, I left my key with Kate as I had to shoot off! Kate left pip happily at home with my key left where discussed ready for me when I arrived home, excellent service! 👌🏼”

“Jamie's communications are prompt and thorough (just as you need when arranging care for your dog). Rex seemed to have a great time away on his walks and he came back tired (a sensation he's not intimately familiar with!). Both Rex and I recommend Jamie and we'll definitely book again.”

“I feel lucky to have found Hope on Rover. She’s a new walker for Bonzo, but Hope put my mind at ease straight away. She was friendly, professional, and clearly great with dogs. She kept me updated with photos throughout the walk, which was really reassuring, and Bonzo came back happy and well exercised after a good-length walk. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hope to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker! Bonzo didn’t want to come home after !”

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have cared for two cats my whole life, so I understand just how much they mean to you. I am also currently working at a doggy day care centre locally and doing an apprenticeship along side it. Along with my lifelong cat experience, I’ve also looked after dogs for family and friends of all sizes and personalities — from playful pups to older, more relaxed dogs. I’m patient, reliable, and make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. What sets me apart is the personal care I give — I treat every pet as if they were my own, paying attention to their routines, comfort, and little quirks that make them who they are. Whether it’s extra cuddles, calm company, or energetic playtime, I’ll make sure your pet is happy and cared for like family. I’m currently working part time and would like to fill up my spare time looking after what I love most. I also would love to develop a career working with animals in the future so I think this would be a great start When I’m caring for pets in their own home, I always make sure they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I follow each owner’s routine closely — from feeding times to walk schedules and bedtime habits — so your pet’s day feels just like normal. I keep homes tidy, secure, and always respect your space as if it were my own. I also send regular photo and message updates, so you can have total peace of mind knowing your pet (and home) are in good hands.

About: I’ve looked after a few dogs I have also used to foster dogs and every single one of them have brought a smile on my face each day My special skill is being patient whilst training they will always get their in the end no matter how long it will take to get where your fluffy friend want to be I used to have a black lab since he was a puppy it was quite challenging at first when he wanted to chew everything in the house I would always try keeping him distracted like putting treats in chewy toys spent a lot of time outside playing and telling him no when he tried to and praised him when he had listened I am currently not at work as I have been struggling with my mental health and pets always bring the light back I don’t currently have any pets so it’s a struggle to be in a schedule but most of the time I am always at home and sometimes my neighbors cat comes and visits me I am always free I live in a flat and share a garden with my neighbor who lives downstairs however the garden is split into 2 and fenced so we have our own space When I used to foster dogs I would go for about 20 to 30 min walk in the mornings and about an hour in the afternoon/evening time I would also play with them a lot of the times if they haven’t gotten all their energy out during the walks
About: I've had a beautiful dog since I was four who past away last year so now I have a dog sized hole in my heart. I love looking after family and friends pets and can't wait to look after yours 💕 I'm a mature sudent who is on summer break, so I am very flexible and free most weekdays and weekends. Looking forward to having company from a four legged friend I have a fenced spacious garden. Happy to meet before hand. Will stay with your doggy all day if needed and make sure they get all the walks and fuss they need and deserve
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Alongside my career as a cardiac physiologist, I've spent years caring for dogs and volunteering with European rescue and adoption organisations, it's a passion I simply can't imagine living without. That time with rescue dogs gave me a deep sensitivity to animals of all backgrounds, especially those who need a little extra patience to feel safe and loved. Every dog I care for gets treated like family. That's just who I am. Pet care is woven into my daily routine, not squeezed into it. I'm an early riser, so morning walks and visits are never rushed. Your pet gets my full attention, every time. Before anything, I take time to understand your pet's routine, personality and needs. During walks I stay fully attentive, no distractions, no rushing. For visits and house sits I follow your routine closely, because familiarity is what keeps pets calm and settled. I drive and walk depending on location, keep you updated with photos and messages, and always leave your home exactly as I found it.
About: I’ve had a passion for animal from a very young age, since then I have completed an extended diploma in animal management, a certificate in veterinary care support and have qualified as a registered veterinary nurse. I take responsibilities taking care of my own pets and I know how their welfare is upmost importance . As a vet nurse I’m trained and can confidently give first aid treatment and administer topical/oral/subcutaneous medications. Im currently working full time as a veterinary nurse I have the most available at the weekend and during the end of the week however I can be flexible to suit your needs. I will follow strict instructions under your order, from owning pets myself I know how important keeping to routine can be to make sure your animal is comfortable during my stay. Im an honest reliable person who just want the best for your pets.
About: I’ve always had a dog in my home for as long as I can remember so have a true love of them, I have taken care of other dogs since the age of 15 including boarding and simple drop by. I am also training to be a vet at university and have other qualifications in animal care and welfare that I studied prior and during university I am currently at university however am looking for summer work mostly around July-August perfect for those going on holiday for the school summer holidays I used to take my dog out at least once a day if not twice, her feeding routine was twice a day and this has been similar to most dogs I have taken care of, some dogs need more exercise then others and that I will take into consideration. I often wake up early and let my animals out to the toilet at this time. Routine varied depending upon the household so I am more then happy to take into consideration the routine normally set by owners such as yourself :)

“Ameera did an amazing job walking our Maltese Terrier at short notice. She arrived on time and gave him a long walk taking pictures and notes along the way. She comes highly recommended and I look forward to using her again sometime 👌🏾❤️”
