About: I loved being a dog mum, & I really do know how important it is, to have someone you whole-heartedly trust…. I have a whole lifespan of dog experience from puppy training, exercising and engaging adolescent energy to ‘twilight’ years care. I grew up with three dogs; from a little Lasa Apso, to an Old English Gent, with a Corgi Mix in-between. I have experience of fully training my own Cardigan Corgi in the past, the most loyal soul and truly the “goodest boy”. He had an exceptionally sweet character, a dog lover himself and somewhat of a celebrity in our area 🤎 He reached a great age and we had the best life together. He is the reason I want to be around and care for dogs. STROLLING & SNIFFING, WALKING and/or HIKING: I am a qualified DofE walk leader for Hertfordshire, so I know the greatest adventures, terrain and many varied local routes. I live very near to a locally known Greenway, Wymondley Woods, and I often walk my dog guests around the routes near Standalone Farm. I can get to Weston Hills and know a great shorter route through the fields from Graveley into Chesfield. I can walk much shorter routes and easily reach parks and fields nearby without travelling in the car. We can walk up to twice a day. I always walk with awareness and responsibility; I am a mindful and aware dog carer, especially in public places. Preemptive safety is always my priority. I build an engaging and thoughtful relationship with dogs, practicing communication and embedding routine. I talk to them and we learn together, getting to know each other. BOARDING: I believe communication is key; I would like to gain an understanding of your dog and their daily routine, their specific requirements and ensure that they have as little disruption as possible whilst you are away. We will get in as many walks as needed and you can let me know which of those I mentioned above, that your dog would like. I’ll ensure they get to explore the area as part of their stay with me. VISITS and playtime: A fully engaged and planned visit according to your needs; I will spend this time ensuring your dog knows they are a VIP and cared for. I use reaffirming language to create routine and build effective communication with your dog. I can usually come to visit your dog at short notice, please reach out if you need help. I am able to make myself available for boarding 24/7; your dog will be with me and included in every part of my day where possible. My house is set back and accessed down a pathway, it is therefore away from the street; & the front garden is fenced. I have a good sized fully secure and 6ft fenced rear garden. I am able to safely transport dogs with seat belts, a large hatchback area, and a soft cushioned bed in my vehicle. For those dogs with mobility issues or for owners that want to restrict access upstairs; my stairs have a gate at the top & bottom. For walks I will also only walk with one dog at a time, or two dogs maximum from the same family. I have a current valid DBS check. About: I previously had a wonderful senior dog, so I understand that not every dog wants (or can manage) long walks. As he got older, we adapted his routine to suit him, with shorter, gentler walks and plenty of time to sniff and explore at his own pace. He was also deaf in his later years, so I became very aware of how important it is to approach dogs calmly and thoughtfully to avoid startling them. That experience taught me to be patient. Whether your dog is young and full of energy or enjoying their senior years, I'll always take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy. I'll be available Friday to Sunday evenings, making me a great option for weekend walks, drop-in visits or evening care. I'll always make sure your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve, and I'll keep you updated throughout. Your pet's safety and happiness will always come first. I have a fully fenced, secure garden where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time. I'll always follow your pet's usual routine, whether that's feeding times, medication, favourite walking routes or any little quirks that make them unique. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while they're in my care.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life, from hamsters to cats, and more recently I grew up with two lovely black labradors - Charley and Flo. I do miss having dogs around so am keen to share my love for animals with others. Whether it’s a walk around the block or staying over I would love to help out. I fit my schedule around what is best for your dog as I know many have their preferred routine. Whether that’s walking at certain times or eating at 3pm on the dot! Your dog will feel like it is at home. With toilet breaks around the clock and being played with to keep them entertained along with lovely long walks in the local green spaces, I will do my utmost best to make sure they are happy.

About: I’ve had 30 years of experience of being a dog owner. Ranging from small breeds such as a westie to a Rottweiler. I regularly walk and sit my sisters Australian labradoodle. Pet care fits comfortably into my routine, allowing me to give your dog my full attention during visits and walks. I aim to be flexible where possible and communicate clearly about availability to ensure reliability and consistency. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my priority at all times. I follow routines carefully, respect feeding and medication instructions, and ensure secure handling on walks. I take a calm, attentive approach and always assess environments for safety. If your dog is comfortable travelling in the car, I’m happy to incorporate walks in nearby green spaces for variety and enrichment. Transport would always be discussed in advance and carried out safely. Clear communication is important to me, and I will keep you updated so you feel confident and reassured while your dog is in my care.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, which has taught me to how to adapt to the different needs of each breed/species! I‘ve always helped my family and friends with dog walking and have worked as a receptionist at a vets, meaning I come into contact with a large range of breeds daily! I spend everyday with my own animals and from 29th May 2026 I’ll be around to help Monday-Sunday! I’m an early riser and have a friendly Cocker Spaniel of my own if you want your dog to interact with mine! I like to be told the needs and wants from owners and their furry friends to make sure the visit/walk is as helpful as it can be!

I have experience pet sitting for up to 2 weeks for dogs and cats I have graduated from university and have been travelling! I am currently working before i do some more travelling next year! About: Whilst I've never had the pleasure of having my own dog due to living circumstances, I used to help my ex with his dog sitting & boarding business, including loads of cuddles, walks, feeding, administering oral medicine etc. I can't wait to have my own dog one day when circumstances allow but also have my own two cats who I love dearly. I work full time but have a very flexible work schedule, so can fit visits & walks around your needs. I am unfortunately out of the country for Christmas, so would not be able to help during that time. I unfortunately cannot offer any boarding services. However, I promise to be respectful of your own home and will respect any rules you set. Please let me know any emergency arrangements and local vet information at the time of hiring. I have my own car so can transport your pet in an emergency.

About: I am currently on maternity leave so have the time to spend with your furry babies! Cats are my favourite animal and I have my own fluffy girl called Binky. I can’t walk past a cat in the street without kneeling down and psst pssting them for a cuddle. I have experience caring for dogs and frequently help out friends with drop ins and dog walks when needed. Your doggy can expect countryside walks and lots of fuss and attention. I’m currently on maternity leave so have a lot free time to care for your furry babies! I already spend a lot of time out walking so it would be great to have a furry companion and explore some different areas. I’m available for one off bookings or longer term arrangements depending on what you need. I will follow the instructions you provide and take the time to earn your pets trust inside and out of your home. I’ll provide updates and ensure clear communication of any issues.

About: I have spent my whole life around dogs and have in-depth experience in particular with terrier breeds, including their training and behavioural needs. I also have experience training pups both at home and at classes. I specifically have experience with: puppies, rescues, reactive, aged and muzzled dogs. I like to give dogs the best environment possible and cater to their needs, whether that be mental or physical stimulation, hugs and cuddles, their own individual space, training or companionship. Dogs are just as individual as us and no two dogs are the same. I am an outdoorsy person and live incredibly close to beautiful countryside so can provide some great walks. I am currently without a dog but this may change in the future when myself and my partner are ready to add to our little unit permanently. I also sometimes care for my family dog who is friendly and great with other dogs, should you ever want your dog to have a playmate. I have general availability on afternoons/evenings and weekends. I work full time but am also able to take occasional WFH days each week as and when, so I can build any walks or sitting needs/requests around this. I have: a fenced in garden with a 6ft gate (mix of grass and patio), currently a large sized dog crate, dog beds, blankets, toys, bowls, spare leads (including 10m long lead for recall training), spare collars, ball thrower and food. I also have a dog whistle should your dog be trained to one. My car has two doggy seatbelts and the back seats have a full cover over them. I will shortly also be looking to do a dog first aid training course.
