“Jess has been absolutely fantastic. She’s been walking our boy regularly for the past month and it’s been such a positive experience. He took to her straight away and always looks like he comes back from his walks happy, which says it all. We’ve been so impressed that we’ve also booked her to look after Monty while we’re away. She’s reliable, flexible, and incredibly accommodating - especially when we’ve needed to change our usual day or time at fairly short notice. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

About: Dogs are the best furfwends in the world. I am loving, caring and my dog always comes first. It is important to always put your dogs needs before yourself. Dogs come first. I can offer all the cuddles and kisses to you pups. I work from home 4 days a week so it works perfectly and I am here with the dog all day to let them out. I also live right near a green area to take them out before and after work but also on my lunch break. I have a open living space with a balcony with grass on for dogs to sit on and watch the world go by. My dog loves to do this. He also sleeps on the sofa and bed which your pups are welcome to do!
About: I’ve been lucky enough to have my very own sassy miniature dachshund for the last 5 years and he really does shape my life. Walks, runs, cuddles on the sofa, playtime with his toys or entertaining the “awww a sausage”, the way I care for Ralph is how I’d care for your fur-child too. I fully understand the trust to put into someone else to look after your pet and the place they hold in a family. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and feel comfortable with all ages from puppies to older dogs. I work Monday - Friday but I am home based for 3 days and my job is very flexible of it so pet care is no challenge for me considering I have Ralph myself anyway to take care of and he’s my priority. When I work from home I walk Ralph in the morning, take him out at lunchtime and walk him in the evening. If it’s raining it’s more of a challenge because he hates to go out but best believe we get out anyway! Of a weekend my days revolve around being outdoors, running, playing padel, going to the gym and seeing friends for coffee or the opposite and having quiet days in chilling out. Ralph comes everywhere with me so your pet can join, or they can stay at home together around walks and chill time with me. Whilst I’m in a flat it’s never been an issue for me. We have gated communal areas that can be used for sniffs and wees, but also lots of parks, walks and trails nearby. If I’m at my home I’m very happy for pets to have a cuddle on the sofa with me but I keep them in their own beds to sleep rather than mine. They would be fed at the times required and given time to settle in the home. If I were to housesit at your home, I would adapt to their usual routine.
About: Hi, I’m Amy! 🐾 I’m a passionate animal lover who has grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve had lots of experience dog sitting for family and friends, looking after everything from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a gentler routine. I’m reliable, patient, and committed to keeping their routine as consistent as possible—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just lots of cuddles. I know every dog (and owner!) is different, so I’m happy to work around your pet’s individual needs. About: I've been among dogs all my life. Whether it's my own family dog or my parents dogs. I love all kinds. And long, long walks. My daughter's dog comes to stay when she comes to stay. And at other times. She clearly enjoys her time here. We have plenty of space for running around here and adventure. And a huge grassy area used by dogs that has no surrounding busy roads. And dogs regularly meet. I like to offer variety on my walk routes, but the grassy area is a great way to start a walk and make new friends or me old favourites. I work from home and in the events industry. My work dates are arranged in advance. So that I can easily fit my dog care around it. Almost limitless amounts of space here to work off some energy. And plenty of sofa space for naps or sleeps. No other animals live here and it is very quiet and peaceful. There's plenty of space in the car and I can provide a crate if needed.

Together we can cover almost all hours of the day that you’d need your furry friends looked after. But we are happy to follow any instructions and schedule set by you to ensure your pet doesn’t feel out of routine. This can be discussed prior to us looking after your pets.
About: While I’ve spent a lot of time caring for cats, my love for dogs is just as strong—and I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments through sitting for friends, family, and neighbours over the years. From playful puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace, I’ve cared for them all. I understand how important consistency, calm energy, and clear communication are when it comes to looking after dogs—especially when they’re adjusting to someone new. Whether it’s sticking to a regular feeding routine, administering oral medication, or making sure they get enough exercise and attention, I’m dedicated to giving every dog the personalised care they deserve and acknowledging when your pet requires nurturing, affection and play time. I’m confident with walking, feeding, basic grooming (like brushing and wiping muddy paws!), and giving your dog the companionship they need while you’re away. I also make sure to learn each dog’s individual personality and preferences—some love long walks, others prefer cuddles and quiet time—and I adjust my care accordingly. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, it’s always been a dream of mine—so caring for yours is truly meaningful to me. I’ll treat them like part of the family, ensuring they’re safe, comfortable, and most importantly, happy! I currently have a commitment which durates to just 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday (3 PM – 6 PM), which leaves me with plenty of time and energy to care for your furry family members! 🐾 I’m available and flexible every day—including weekends and bank holidays—and I’m more than happy to work around your schedule. Whether you need early morning check-ins, midday walks, evening cuddles, full-day care or even overnight stays, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. Your pet’s comfort and routine come first, and I’m here to make things as smooth and stress-free as possible for both the family and your pet. At home, I have one very spoiled Ragdoll cat who even has his own house attached to ours! While he’s a house cat, we’ve created a safe, secure outdoor space so he can explore freely. He’s treated like royalty—endless cuddles, enrichment, and affection—and I bring that same level of care and compassion to every pet I look after. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve always dreamed of having one. So caring for your baby will genuinely fill a little hole in my heart 💛 Whether it’s long walks, playtime in the garden, or just a comfy cuddle session, I’m ready to give your pet the same love and care I give my own. Although I understand that every pet is different, I acknowledge their individual needs and always provide the best possible care for them. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, senior, or needs medication or special attention—I adapt to their personality and routine to ensure they feel completely safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of my daschunds since i was young, i know exactly what a daschund needs and wants. I'm very passionate about looking after daschunds and i adore my two, they are very spoilt and loved for. The dinkydaschundden is specialised in caring for daschunds but we are also welcoming other small breeds that are friendly with daschunds or live with daschunds. My little girl, willow is anxious with big dogs and also cries when i am not with her, i'm able to look after anxious daschunds as i understand what it's like. However, when she's with me she's the best little girl ever!🥰 I have experience working in a vets and understanding the symptoms of dogs when they are unwell as well as caring for them after treatments. I've also completed my canine first aid level four course so i have experience in looking after small wounds on dogs if the event may occur. Lastly, I have experience at Capel manor college as i studied animal management level 3 diploma and passed successfully! I absolutely adore dogs and will treat your babies as if they are my own🫶🏼 I don't work as my dog business is my only priority of work. I'm always at home and it's a very quiet environment for your daschunds to visit. I'm able to constantly be with the dogs for the whole day unless i have to go out for 1-2 hours. The upstairs is blocked off by a door so the dogs won't be able to come up and down. I also have a doggy area in my house just for the daschunds to play whilst i'm cleaning or if another dog visits and i need to put them away if it's too much for the new dog. I also have two large crates with a cushion and blankets if your dog is crate trained. The garden is also fenced so there's no chance of any small dog getting out. My house is very safe, i have surveillance cameras all outside and a gate outside my house so the dogs would not run out.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - East Hertfordshire
I cannot rate Emil highly enough. He and his wife walked our beloved 3 year old Cocker Ted while we went on a short break. My parents were looking after him but they aren't able to give Ted the long walk that he needs every day. Emil sent us photos from every walk and we could see he was having such fun and being very well looked after, so it put our minds at rest so we could enjoy our break. This lovely couple even took the time to meet me before I committed to the booking. Thanks so much we'll definitely ask you to walk him again.
Amber-Louise was excellent. She visited Poppy before her first walk with her to get to know her, was punctual and followed all instructions perfectly. She even walked Poppy for a bit longer than planned. The photos show a very happy dog. I will certainly use her again if the occasion arises.
