About: Hi, I’m a second-year undergraduate student studying Zoo Biology and Animal Science, with a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management. I’m passionate about animal welfare and have experience working with a wide range of species, breeds, temperaments, and behavioural needs. I’m confident caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens needing patience, routine, and basic training reinforcement, to senior pets who may require medication, gentle handling, or extra support. I understand how important it is to maintain a pet’s normal routine, so I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, exercise plans, enrichment activities, and any specific care instructions closely. About: Growing up my aunt owned a cattery & kennels, so I spent many years helping out, caring for the animals. I’ve always had my own dogs & cats, mainly from rescues as I could never bare to see them unloved. My nan always said, never trust a man who doesn’t like dogs haha & I live by that. I’m currently working part time, Wednesday - Friday for around 5 hours a day but have flexibility around my days and hours if need be. Obviously if there is an pet that cannot be left for longer then a set time, I would carefully take this into consideration. I would treat your pet as if it were my own & with the utmost care. I understand that every pet & their owner is different & may require different care, so would openly discuss this upon booking.

“Jess is a dog loving person. She is very friendly and bubbly . Bella stayed with her for 4 days while we were away. House was left very clean. Bella was happy from the day one . She can be nervous meeting new people but with Jess she was at ease . We got updates throughout the stay. Videos and pictures which were lovely. We already booked Jess for 2 more stays. Looks like Bella has a lovely new friend. Highly recommend!! Thank you Jess for looking after Bella ❤️🐾”

About: I absolutely adore dogs and cats and have been around them and have taken care of them throughout most of my life. I have a professional background in pet care as I have worked for two different services while living in New York City (Barkly Pets and Oh To Be A Dog) where I traveled all around the city visiting and walking dogs. It was one of my favorite jobs I've ever had and it would be my pleasure to help out anyone in or around Hertford who need someone to look after this furry little friend! I'm currently working part time and will either have the day or evening fully open on weekdays to walk or visit your pet! During the weekend, I am more than happy to be fully available to have your pet stay here in my home. I have a very flexible schedule so I can more than likely adhere to your schedule and needs! I live in a house in Hertford that has a fairly small fenced in garden where your pet can use to relieve themselves or sunbathe. I also have a very cool basement where your pet can go if it's a bit too warm outside. There is also a huge and beautiful park right near my house where I can take your dog for nice long walk as well. I will make sure to have water and snacks on hand as well if they are ever hungry or thirsty as well.

I’m currently not working so I’m very flexible in what times and how long I can spend with your beloved animal! Animals are very high up on my priority list!! About: My friend and I absolutely love spending time with dogs. We have plenty of experience caring for them having previously had a dog (Poodle) for 11 years and really enjoy getting to know each dogs unique personality. We currently look after 2 dogs on a weekly basis and would like to branch into paid dog walking and sitting. I am currently working full time between 8:30 and 4:30 but have good availability after these hours and generally have a free schedule on weekends. I currently live in a flat with a balcony area and have plenty of space for your dog to run about or relax. We also own a car so if caring for your dog is easier in your home travelling is not a issue at all.

About: I've always had pets from cats to dogs etc. I have plenty of years of experience with training and caring for pets from a variety of ages. I currently care for my father, so I am available most days of the week and can work all hours! My schedule is very flexible. I have a fairly large fenced garden, maintaining privacy. Your pet will not feel anxious as it is a peaceful area with minimal disruptions, so your pet can relax.

About: I work part-time so I am very flexible. I have experience walking and looking after a variety of dog breeds for family members and friends (including: border collie, dachshund, Dogue de Bordeaux). I own a border collie so I am comfortable with high energy dogs. I have experience volunteering at dog centres across South East Asia, walking and caring for multiple dogs at one time. I’m currently working part-time, I am available daytime a few days a week. I can also be available for evenings or longer stays. I have a car if needed to transport your dog for walks. I am happy using crates if your dog is comfortable in one. I am happy to meet up prior to walking your dog to gain trust and make sure the dog feels comfortable.

About: I am currently back living at home with my parents & rescue dog Alfie!! There is no better company than a dog (although deep down I’ve always been a cat person number 1- don’t tell Alfie!). I’ve done multiple dog sits and pop ins for cats. I get just as much out of it as them, and find it hard to say goodbye!! I am reliable and have been doing the same pups & cats for a few years. I am a restaurant supervisor, so my hours are odd and I tend to get random weekdays off. I’ll most likely be serving a Sunday roast on a Sunday. My hours range from 9-3, 9-5,12-5, 5/6 - cls and once or twice a week I’ll work a double. I am a cat / dog sitter so will come to you. I am very experienced with cats, and own two big dogs so size does not bother me! In fact my sausage dog that I dog sit is the one I fear the most ;)

About: I've had dogs all of my life. I've recently lost my show cocker spaniel in December 2023 named Buttons. I miss him dearly and miss the company of having a dog in my life and home. I have the pleasure of looking after my son's working cocker spaniel Jessie aged just 10 weeks when he is off on holiday. I work in a primary school in Hoddesdon as a teaching assistant and I have lived in Hertford all of my life. I work term time so I am only available in the school holidays and most weekends. I have a fenced garden and a locked outside gate. Dogs can be crated or have the downstairs to themselves. They are allowed on sofas and beds.
