“Jess is a dog loving person. She is very friendly and bubbly . Bella stayed with her for 4 days while we were away. House was left very clean. Bella was happy from the day one . She can be nervous meeting new people but with Jess she was at ease . We got updates throughout the stay. Videos and pictures which were lovely. We already booked Jess for 2 more stays. Looks like Bella has a lovely new friend. Highly recommend!! Thank you Jess for looking after Bella ❤️🐾”

“First time we have had Hugo looked after in our own home so we wasn’t too sure what to expect. Chloe was on time and very warm and Hugo took an immediate liking to her which made us feel comfortable from the start. Chloe updated us with photos and what Hugo was up to. Will definately use her again as we can see that Hugo enjoyed Chloe’s company and we felt very much like Hugo and our house were in safe hands!”

About: I've grown up with both cats and dogs, from Rottweilers to Schnauzers, so animals have always been a big part of my life. I have looked after friends and family dogs, which I adore. We share our home with little Stanley, a 6 year old rescue dog who’s full of love. He enjoys playing with other dogs and is a big fan of his afternoon naps. Your dog would be treated like family and given all the love, attention, and care they deserve. Stanley and I go on two daily walks and he’d be thrilled to have a new friend to join us on our adventures. I am a part time flight attendant, so your dog would be with me on my days off and never alone. I am fully DBS checked. We have a lovely fully fenced in garden and live two minutes from the park. The dogs can have free range around our home, sofas aren’t off limits :)
“I had a really great experience with Laura looking after my two dogs over several days. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly really cares about the dogs she looks after. They seem to have absolutely loved their time with her! I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands, and it was lovely getting updates while I was away. When I came home, both dogs were happy, relaxed, and well looked after, & nicely tired from lots of walks, which says everything. I’d absolutely book with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, considerate & caring to look after their pets. Thank you Laura!”

About: I've had dogs all of my life. I've recently lost my show cocker spaniel in December 2023 named Buttons. I miss him dearly and miss the company of having a dog in my life and home. I have the pleasure of looking after my son's working cocker spaniel Jessie aged just 10 weeks when he is off on holiday. I work in a primary school in Hoddesdon as a teaching assistant and I have lived in Hertford all of my life. I work term time so I am only available in the school holidays and most weekends. I have a fenced garden and a locked outside gate. Dogs can be crated or have the downstairs to themselves. They are allowed on sofas and beds.

About: While I’ve spent a lot of time caring for cats, my love for dogs is just as strong—and I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments through sitting for friends, family, and neighbours over the years. From playful puppies to older dogs who need a slower pace, I’ve cared for them all. I understand how important consistency, calm energy, and clear communication are when it comes to looking after dogs—especially when they’re adjusting to someone new. Whether it’s sticking to a regular feeding routine, administering oral medication, or making sure they get enough exercise and attention, I’m dedicated to giving every dog the personalised care they deserve and acknowledging when your pet requires nurturing, affection and play time. I’m confident with walking, feeding, basic grooming (like brushing and wiping muddy paws!), and giving your dog the companionship they need while you’re away. I also make sure to learn each dog’s individual personality and preferences—some love long walks, others prefer cuddles and quiet time—and I adjust my care accordingly. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, it’s always been a dream of mine—so caring for yours is truly meaningful to me. I’ll treat them like part of the family, ensuring they’re safe, comfortable, and most importantly, happy! I currently have a commitment which durates to just 3 hours a day, Monday to Friday (3 PM – 6 PM), which leaves me with plenty of time and energy to care for your furry family members! 🐾 I’m available and flexible every day—including weekends and bank holidays—and I’m more than happy to work around your schedule. Whether you need early morning check-ins, midday walks, evening cuddles, full-day care or even overnight stays, I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. Your pet’s comfort and routine come first, and I’m here to make things as smooth and stress-free as possible for both the family and your pet. At home, I have one very spoiled Ragdoll cat who even has his own house attached to ours! While he’s a house cat, we’ve created a safe, secure outdoor space so he can explore freely. He’s treated like royalty—endless cuddles, enrichment, and affection—and I bring that same level of care and compassion to every pet I look after. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’ve always dreamed of having one. So caring for your baby will genuinely fill a little hole in my heart 💛 Whether it’s long walks, playtime in the garden, or just a comfy cuddle session, I’m ready to give your pet the same love and care I give my own. Although I understand that every pet is different, I acknowledge their individual needs and always provide the best possible care for them. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, senior, or needs medication or special attention—I adapt to their personality and routine to ensure they feel completely safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away.
