I have around 13 years’ experience in animal welfare, including working as an Animal Welfare Officer for the RSPCA, where my role involved animal welfare and behaviour, rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, adoption, fostering support, home visits and working closely with owners to help animals with a wide range of individual needs. I spent 6 years just working with cats so I have a lot of knowledge around their welfare. I also went on to work as a police officer, an experience which strengthened the qualities I bring to my work today – reliability, responsibility, good judgement and being someone people can trust. About: My partner and I also live directly opposite a huge park within fields and meadows by Lea Valley park. This is such a beautiful place to live and has loads of incredible walking spots and vast fields. We also have our own private land consisting of 15 acres so if your dog isn’t sociable, we can bring them there and let them run and sniff all day long! We are encouraging, caring and thoughtful and always pride ourselves on doing the best for the clients and dogs we look after. We’re committed to creating strong bonds with the dogs in our care and strive to keep their daily routines as active or as relaxed as you’d want! We have our own Dalmatian x Rough Collie dog named Edie - taking her home at 12 weeks means we understand puppy, adolescent and adult dog behaviours. We have trained her extensively and she has great recall and can do some fun tricks! (Our dog won’t be present during the sits so don’t worry if your dog isn’t too keen!) Alongside our own dog, we frequently house sit at a clients home, sorting out house duties and looking after their 15 year old Cockapoo, Coco. We administer her medication orally twice a day and take her on short walks. We have strong experience caring for the needs of senior dogs - knowing when to give them space or time to rest/recover. We also frequently dog sit Bridie’s sisters dog Bambi, a Dachshund x Springer Spaniel. She is exceptionally energetic so we take time training her, taking her on long runs and improving her recall. We’ve got a 30m long lead so we can practice recall safely with your furry friend :) Overall, we have varied experience working with dogs of all ages and sizes. We enjoy being active and training dogs so they’ll always be well looked after in my care. I’ve (Bridie) had dogs all my life, it’s second nature to me now! Our first family dog was Poppy, a beautiful mixed breed (Alsatian x collie) from our local rescue centre. She lived a long and fruitful life, going on regular walks through the forest and was soon joined by another furry friend, Spike. Her boisterous and loving sidekick — a staffy!! Our family then decided to get a brother, sister duo called Lunar and Rambo. They were puppies when we got them. They’re super relaxed dogs, who LOOOVEE food! Laura-Mae is currently working part-time meaning I have extra time to look after your dog and their needs. Bridie works full time but is completely remote so can always come along on morning walkies! We’re both very communicative and can’t wait to look after your fur baby to ensure they are fully comfortable. We are always up for a morning walk so your dog can easily join us ! We are strict on feeding and medication times so will always be prepared for this. Laura-Mae is very organised so have set routines that I like to follow so am happy to implement routines with your pets and be as relaxed or as regimented as you’d like. We also have a car with a dog seatbelt so can easily take them further afield to the nearby forests and go on a hike or take them to get a new toy or treat! We have a fenced medium garden/patio area in the front of our flat so they can be supervised in the front if they need some fresh air or a quick wee! We have space for crates of any size so can crate your pets if needed or do crate training. There will be no other pets staying with us so your fur baby will have our 100% love and attention. We’d always send photos and videos of your pets enjoying the lovely fields around us. We have been trusted with house keys, security systems, medication, cleaning, plant watering, etc so if we come round and supervise your dog/cat from your home - We can also help around the house! (Laura-Mae loves cleaning!)

About: I I’ve got over 8 years of hands-on dog-sitting experience and have grown up around pets all my life. At home, I care for my two dogs, Cookie and Lola, and my two cats, Marvel and Zeus, so I’m very used to different personalities, routines, and little quirks. I also help out with my mum’s doggy day care, looking after a wide range of dogs, many of them are now long-term regulars who I’ve really grown attached to over time. It’s such a lovely feeling seeing familiar faces come back, and I’ve honestly fallen a bit in love with quite a few of them! This experience has helped me feel confident handling different temperaments and making sure each dog feels safe, settled, and genuinely cared for. I truly love what I do and always want every pet to feel like they’re in a calm, happy, and caring home. I work full time Monday to Friday, but I’m available in the evenings as well as full weekends and overnight care. Due to living at home with other pets and family members, I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home. About: - I used to live in Alaska, so I am used to and committed to winter walks, playdates and dog park visits. - I have experience providing 24-hour care for newborn puppies and senior dogs. - I am happy with dogs/puppies and cats/kittens and open to other pets. - I have administered prescribed medication such as tablets, ointments, and syringe medicine to dogs, and I generally ensure that I uphold a pet's routines while the owner is away. - I have done general grooming for dogs and cats (baths, drying, brushing, tooth brushing, nail clipping). - My longest house sit (& dogsit) was 40 nights. During house sits I am respectful of the owner's property, keeping it clean, tending to house plants, and being a good house guest. - I send lots of pics and regularly update the owners when they are away. - I am comfortable with clingy and independent pets alike. I've had some dogs that couldn't be left alone for their own safety and slept beside me, and some dogs that liked alone time. - I am also a considerate and responsible dog walker, properly disposing of dog poo. - I like to pet-sit for the companionship that pets offer and because, particularly with dogs and dog walking, it encourages me to go outside and go on walks, which is good for the dog and for me. - In the past, I have done housesitting while working remotely, so it meshed well with my schedule and was helpful for pets that needed round-the-clock supervision and company; now I am a student, so I have a similarly flexible schedule. - I'm waiting for school to start, and until then I have a largely flexible schedule and can housesit/petsit for several hours at a time, overnight or for a couple of days. - Available from *6 AM - 6 PM (*depending on your proximity to me) - Need 12 hours' notice minimum I keep food off the floor and counters and store it in cabinets/ fridge, out of reach of pets that like to sneak food off the counter. I ensure the water bowl is always filled so the pet is never thirsty. I regularly clean up food bowls so they don't lie empty and dirty between feeds. I change/clear the litter when it needs changing and keep the area around the litter clean. I properly dispose of any choking hazards and don't feed pets anything they shouldn't eat.

About: I've always had pets from cats to dogs etc. I have plenty of years of experience with training and caring for pets from a variety of ages. I am currently working remotely, therefore I am available most days of the week and can work most hours! From early morning to late evening. My schedule is very flexible. I have a fairly large fenced garden, maintaining privacy. Your pet will not feel anxious as it is a peaceful area with minimal disruptions, so your pet can relax.
