“Emma was brilliant looking after our nervous dog Simba. She made sure he was fed and exercised and kept him comfy with lots of cuddles. She sent us regular updates and pics so we were happy as well. Will definitely rebook her and recommend her services.”

About: Hi everyone, I’m Natalia and I work as a manager in hospitality. I am available at a wide variety of times and I am very flexible. I have experience caring for cats for the majority of my life and own 3 cats myself - Suki and Diego, a brother and sister tabby duo and George who is a Persian chinchilla.
“Sherry was great - Flo had a wonderful time on walks and chilling in the garden and on the sofa. Sherry also kindly watered my plants and left the place clean and tidy with sheets and towels washed for me! Thoroughly recommend and will use again.”

“Zoe has looked after our dogs on two separate overnight stays in our home. Zoe did what we asked, and was very good at understanding that even though they are brothers they have quite different personalities and needs. Zoe sent updates with photos and always left us notes of how it all went. We highly recommend Zoe to Rover pet parents.”

“Cerys was absolutely amazing with Biscuit. It was a very short notice booking and Cerys was very accommodating right from the start. Biscuit can be very particular, especially with her medical needs, but Cerys instantly made friends with her. I would 100% recommend her for pet sitting, and I will definitely booking Cerys again”

“Caitlin was amazing with our dog! You could tell from the start she genuinely loves dogs. She kept us posted, and when something unexpected came up, she really stood up and handled it perfectly. Felt totally safe knowing our dog was in her hands. Highly recommend her!🐶🧡”

“Isabella was absolutely fantastic, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to ask her to come back. Luna is a timid cat and takes a while to get used to new people but Isabella won her over really quickly - not only that but Isabella was house-sitting through the heatwave and made sure Luna kept cool and safe throughout. This was the first time I have left Luna and was very reassured to know that Luna was in good hands. I'm so grateful - thanks Isabella!”

“I am so relieved to have found James to look after my Jack Russell, Jasper, for me. James is a very calm and gentle person and was amazing with Jasper. He also looked after the house beautifully and kept it pristine. My tomatoes were lovingly watered and are thriving too. Travelling next time will not be stressful knowing that I can count on James.”

“First of all I want to say this is the first time Ziggy has missed a dog sitter. Ahmed is super diligent, morning and evening walks, sent photos everyday. He also taught Ziggy to roll over which is quite a feat for a 50kg German shepherd. We have booked Ahmed again for summer and now will be out go to. I am so so relieved and happy I have found someone trustworthy to dog sit at our house.”

“Julia was great with our dog, Rey. She was well-taken care of and very happy throughout the stay. Julia always responded promptly when I checked in and she sent photos and videos of Rey enjoying her time. The house was kept clean and orderly and she very kindly put out our bins as well. There was an issue with our door lock on the last day but she dealt with it very quickly. We will definitely ask her to house sit for Rey in the future!”

“Emma stayed at our house to look after Benji and Bella, and she did a great job. She was sharing photos with us and telling us how they are getting on. Thank you so much for looking after our little ones😊”

“Jewel was fantastic. We came home to a very happy, relaxed dog, and she kept us updated with a lovely photo while we were away. The house was spotless and tidy when we returned. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“I highly recommend Beren. Beren is experienced and knowledgable about dogs including rescue / anxious dogs. We have 2 dogs, one who is anxious and reactive to other dogs, and Beren walked her / looked after her with confidence. Beren kept in touch with texts and photos and both dogs settled with her very quickly. Beren stayed in our home and was an all-round reliable and trustworthy dog/house sitter.”

“This is the first time we used the Rover App and first time we used a dog sitter! We were nervous to find the right person to look after our baby pup (11 weeks old) but Heidi was brilliant. She arrived early to learn more about our puppy’s needs, she took the pup out at regular intervals so there were no accidents and she was gentle, warm and fun! My pup felt safe around her and we were relieved we found someone we could trust and we will definitely ask Heidi to help us again in the future. 100% recommended!”

About: Since losing my dog a couple of years a go at the grand old age of 15, I’ve been looking after pets for friends and family since. If I could give 10 stars I would. Emma was amazing she looked after my 3 doggy’s for 4 days and nights. Walking them feeding them and loving them. I was a bit nervous about a stranger staying in my home but I needn’t have worried at all. Dogs were find and happy house was clean and tidy. I’m just gutted she isn’t available for my next trip away. I would highly recommend Emma and Callum of course 😜

Gaby was amazing with our puppy Nyra. She’s such a lovely and friendly person and you can really tell how much she loves animals. Gaby has a very calm and nurturing manner, and Nyra was comfortable with her straight away. I was kept updated throughout the day and even sent me pictures doing different activities. We are definitely going to be booking her again, and I can highly recommend to anyone. Your pet will be in very good hands. Thanks again Gaby!

Amin was calm and confident with Lara from the start, and she took to him straight away which really helped us feel at ease. He was easy to communicate with, arrived on time (even a bit early), and was flexible with timings which we really appreciated. He looked after Lara really well during the stay, many walks and plays, he shared photos with us to keep us informed. Lara seemed happy and comfortable. Thank you!

We came home to a clean and tidy house and two very happy dogs who didn’t want Naomi to leave. She had a sudden problem with her car just before the sit but pulled out every stop to make sure she didn’t let us down. Naomi is really lovely, responsible and kind, she’s a wonderful sitter and I can’t recommend her enough.

Thank you so much Nathali for taking on the challenge of having my 4 dogs at short notice! I really appreciated that you visited us, and came on a walk with us before the stay. - 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
