Animals are my world and I am at my most happiest being surrounded by them. I am a devoted, warm, caring person who is very experienced looking after cats and dogs. I've always had a natural affinity with animals and find them the most lovely company. I grew up with cats and dogs and have had the absolute joy of parenting multiple cats and dogs together for large periods during the last 35 years including through short and long term ill health, surgery, rehabilitation, after care and end of life. I have cared for young and old pets, different breeds, sizes, temperaments, each with their own quirks and personalities and managing various health issues and emotional needs. I am very experienced with caring for anxious cats and dogs and particularly familiar with separation anxiety. I have many years' experience of managing canine epilepsy and blindness. I have wonderful memories of sharing a house with 4 cats and 5 dogs and taking all 5 dogs out for long walks together, exploring beautiful valleys, fields and woodland and spending hours swimming outside in local reservoirs excitedly fetching floating toys on warm, sunny days - this was a firm favourite, very heartwarming seeing them so happy and watching them sleeping blissfully afterwards, clearly elated but exhausted !! I have spent many years exploring the countryside in the North and South with my own dogs, finding lots of lovely places to walk. We have also visited lots and lots of pet friendly holiday cottages all across the UK. Pets should have holidays too !! I have also looked after my friends' and family's dogs and cats when they have been away on holiday during the past 11 years, all with my lovely dog there too. My wonderful doggy of 15 years sadly passed away recently and I am looking to reconnect with furry companions. I always ensure the greatest of care and compassion including lots of affection, attention, fun, mental stimulation, exercise, exploring and play and of course, time for a rest !! I prefer to petsit in the pet's home as I believe they are more relaxed and feel safer in their own home environment around familiar surroundings, smells, belongings and routines. My aim is to give your pets a fun and loving experience, so that you can have peace of mind whilst you enjoy your holiday or time away from home knowing your pets are in the best of care and having a lovely time.

I adore animals and treasure the time I spend with them. I will look after your pets as if they are my own and give them the love, attention and care they are used to. Lots of cuddles, exercise, fun and play. Your pets will have a wonderful experience, and your home will be left as found. Think of it as a holiday for them too !

Sherry looked after my cat for a week while I was on holiday. Jessie is nearly 18 and has not been left for over 10 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving her. Sherry was so reassuring and I felt she could be trusted to take care of Jessie, I could tell she was an animal lover. I received daily updates which was lovely and eased my worry enabling me to enjoy my holiday. Jessie had a few accidents in the house but Sherry cleared up all the mess. She also gave an additional update at the end of the week and left a diagram of where Jessie had her accidents. I would not hesitate to use Sherry again and highly reccomend her.
Sherry was wonderful looking after Inca paying attention to his extra needs, medication requirements and keeping us updated every day with how he was doing. It made our holiday much more relaxing knowing he was in great hands. We’d highly recommend Sherry if you are looking for a dog-sitter.
Another super successful home sitting. Sherry was with our dog for 12 hours today. I have a happy dog, and the bird feeders were even re-filled.
Sherry was very patient with our shy cat, not only keeping her fed and watered but also playing with her to ensure she wasn’t too bored while we were away. She provided regular updates and pictures on how our cat was doing. I would definitely recommend Sherry as a catsitter.
Sherry was great - Flo had a wonderful time on walks and chilling in the garden and on the sofa. Sherry also kindly watered my plants and left the place clean and tidy with sheets and towels washed for me! Thoroughly recommend and will use again.
Sherry was great housesitting with our 2 dogs, who both have their own characters. She sent us lots of photos and videos - and we know they had a great time with her! Would def book her again if we need someone
