“Heidi and her husband were wonderful with Peggy. She has loved her time with them in their beautiful garden and being taken on some fabulous walks. They are both very knowledgeable dog carers and I felt very at ease leaving her. I will definitely be booking her in again! Thank you x”

“A big thank you to Catherine and her family for looking after Benji so well! It was his first time staying away from us and he's clearly had a wonderful time, enjoying lots of fuss and cuddles. The environment was perfect for him, a loving family home. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine as a sitter - nothing phased her and we were kept regularly updated with photos throughout his stay. He's looking forward to coming again!”

About: I have been around dogs since childhood and have had a Border collie from a pup up to senior years. I have looked after my Daughters Hungarian Vizsla since he was a puppy and he is now 3 years old, I still have him a couple of days/nights a week since she has moved house. I am very confident with high energy dogs( you don't get much more energetic than a Collie and a Vizsla!😄. I love dogs of all breeds and ages (although I do have a soft spot for the oldies) and prefer their company to humans as I'm sure most dog owners do🥰. I have taken early retirement from a busy office job and love spending my mornings going for a walk at the local parks and woodland which I am very lucky to have close by. I have a good size garden for playtime and dogs are welcome for a snuggle on the sofa with a cosy blanket. I'm no longer working so will have plenty of free time with your pups for walks, play and cuddles. I am flexible throughout the week and weekends for boarding when available. I have a fenced in garden and am around all day if your dog is anxious and needs company. Also have a bouncy 3 year old Viszla to hand for playtime if they are happy to do so.I have a large crate available if this is what your dog is more comfortable using for sleeping and chill time.
“Milo had his first over night stay and we couldn’t be happier. Donna and Simon are just incredible, Milo is quite an anxious pooch but was more than happy and relaxed at his stay. We would be lost without them! X”

“Nicholas and Jia were fabulous dog sitters for our boy. He has some anxiety and can be high energy as well. But they looked after him so well and gave him all the love, attention and exercise he needed. Updates were sent as often as needed. They are very good at what they do and were also great at putting my mind at ease as I had been nervous about leaving him. We will definitely use them again as soon as we can. Thank you both 😊 🐾”

About: I’ve always had a natural love for dogs and feel completely at ease around them. Growing up, I had my own dog who was a big part of my life, so I understand the attention, care, and patience they need to feel happy and secure. Spending time with dogs comes naturally to me—I enjoy their personalities, energy, and companionship, whether that means going on walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I’m attentive to their needs and committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for pet care in the mornings, evenings, and at weekends. This means I can fit visits in around a consistent routine and make sure your pet is checked on regularly. I’m reliable and organised, so I always plan visits carefully to suit your pet’s needs, whether that’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m also happy to be flexible where possible and will communicate clearly with you about availability and timings. I provide a calm, safe and reliable environment for pets, whether I’m caring for them in their own home or visiting for drop-ins. I make sure to follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, litter cleaning, and any specific instructions from the owner. Having grown up with cats, I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable in their space. I’m patient and attentive, and I always take time to build trust at the pet’s pace. I keep the home clean, secure, and stress-free, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Sara and family were fabulous. Presley settled quickly and he was treated like he was their own. I had loads of updates and photos and communication was excellent. We will definitely see her again. Thank you Sara.”

“This was Nico’s first time boarding for an entire week, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mylinh kindly arranged a meet & greet beforehand, which really put us at ease and gave us the chance to ask questions. Throughout Nico’s stay, Mylinh took great care of him and kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which was so reassuring. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Mylinh again in the future.”

“Zsuzsanna took a great care of my dog, Claire. She also made time for me to meet and greet in advance for assurance. Her updates are fun! I enjoyed receiving her updates through her stay. I am glad that I have found Zsuzsanna via Rover!”

“Shishir and Marion took great care of Alfie, from the start they saw I was anxious about leaving him with a strangers and did everything they could help reassure me, allowing me to schedule a few meetings and greets to get to know them and for them to get to know Alfie. Throughout my stay I got daily updates and pictures and felt constantly reassured he was happy whilst I was enjoying my holiday. I would book them again without a doubt and highly recommend them!”

“Ashley was wonderful looking after Nero for a weekend. Regular and open communication before he arrived and photos and updates sent during his stay. Nero thoroughly enjoyed his time there, I would highly recommend Ashley.”

“Amanda was super responsive and accommodating when I needed eleventh hour cover for a week's holiday after I was let down at the last-minute. She replied to my request for help very quickly and explained how it would all work and organised a meet and greet with me the following day. She was warm and friendly and her dog, Betsy, was a delight. I felt reassured immediately that she would be a good choice and that I did not need to worry about leaving my dog, Elsa, in a stranger's home. Amanda sent us photos and updates whilst we were away and responded to all my questions in a timely manner. When I collected Elsa a week later, she was happy and calm. I would not hesitate to use Amanda again - and I very much hope to!”

“Sebastian was amazing with Nala! She stayed overnight and really enjoyed herself with his dog Bao, they have become best friends 🥰 They played for hours and Nala had great fun! Sebastian was very reliable and kept me updated with photos and regular updates of how Nala is doing and what she’s been doing. I was able to relax knowing she is safe and happy. I also met Candice his wife who is lovely and you can see they both love dogs very much. Thank you both so much and Nala will definitely be staying with you again soon! 💗🙏🏼”

“Our dog Chai had a wonderful time with Tanirika. He stayed over for 5 days and was well looked after. Tanirika gave us regular updates throughout his stay and we could see he was thoroughly enjoying himself and was in great hands. This reassurance allowed me and my family to relax and enjoy our trip abroad. I highly recommend Tanirika if you ever need someone to look after your dog.”

“Julia was wonderful with Ginger! She took the time to visit beforehand to get to know us and understand Ginger’s routine. She was also very flexible and available at short notice. I came home to a very happy cat, and I’ll definitely be using her services again soon.”

“Tilly provided great care while looking after my cat for few days, as a last-minute request. This was my 1st time booking Tilly but felt at ease leaving my cat, Poupette, in her hands. Her background as a veterinary nurse was especially reassuring, as Poupette had recently experienced some health issues. I would highly recommend Tilly for any pet care needs and I'm already in the process of rebooking her services.”

“Emma was great, kept me updated and sent me photos whilst I was away for the evening. Would highly recommend and will certainly ask her to take care of my boys again. Thanks so much Emma 🐾🩶”

“Sherry looked after my cat for a week while I was on holiday. Jessie is nearly 18 and has not been left for over 10 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving her. Sherry was so reassuring and I felt she could be trusted to take care of Jessie, I could tell she was an animal lover. I received daily updates which was lovely and eased my worry enabling me to enjoy my holiday. Jessie had a few accidents in the house but Sherry cleared up all the mess. She also gave an additional update at the end of the week and left a diagram of where Jessie had her accidents. I would not hesitate to use Sherry again and highly reccomend her.”

“Kathleen's communications have been excellent and she has made friends with our timid cat, giving her the attention and company she needed while we were away (as well as the practical stuff like food, water and litter-tray cleans). We appreciated the updates and photos after every visit. I won't hesitate to book Kathleen again, she offers an excellent service.”

“Cara was amazing with our Jasper. She went above and beyond during a small heatwave and was great with his stress related odd behaviours while we were gone. I was able to relax while we were away and we came back to a very happy cat.”

“Another amazing cat sitting experience from Mathilde- loved the daily updates, and Tink is clearly a huge fan of Mathilde’s care, chin scratches and string playing skills! If I could give more stars I would!”

“Louise and her partner were absolutely brilliant! It was the first time I had ever left Rodney in hands of someone I never met before. He was super happy and excited to meet them and they reassured multiple times that he was ok, went to the toilet, fed him dinner & sent pictures of him out on a walk and in the garden so I was left at ease and able to enjoy my evening out for my partners birthday. Thank you both xx”

“Natalia took incredible care of our 4 babies. She fed them twice daily, and played with them for an hour or so a day. They opened up to her like with no one else before. She kept us updated with regular updates and we found the place nice and clean. Huge fan, and we will be coming back! Thank you for the awesome work Natalia!”

About: I have been a devoted cat owner for over 6 years. My own cat is my family—she has even moved across borders with me, so I understand deeply how important it is to ensure their comfort and safety during any change. I have experience caring for friends' cats and, above all, a lifetime of understanding feline behavior. I will provide your cat with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, along with daily updates so you can travel with peace of mind

About: I have lived in Welwyn Garden City for 5 years now and absolutely love it here. I grew up in North West London with a dog (Sammy) and a cat (Eliza) which was magical. They became best of friends which was lovely to see. I previously had my own dog boarding business part time however I now have a dog and a baby so I'm too busy to continue this. I have missed being in the presence of cats however I do look after friends when they go away on holiday so I can still get my cat fix!

“Mel continue to be a reliable sitter for us - we always use her for drop-in visits for our cat while we are away on holiday, and she always visits on time and makes sure that Kona is well looked-after. Thanks Mel!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since very young. Starting with a family dog, a border collie, who we were lucky enough to have from a pup to 14! To now, I have a 3 year old vizlsa who I have had since 9weeks.. I have trained him since he was a tiny puppy and now have my very own Velcro dog! However if your fur baby prefers to be the only pet, I have my parents living local that love to take care of my Barney. I also look after friends dogs when they are away, these range in size and age from a 8 year old kelpie to a 2 year old cocker poo. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and will welcome them into my home like they are my own 🐶 I currently work as a serving firefighter, my shift pattern allows me a lot of time off. However each week is not the same for me, I work an 8 day rotation so each week is slightly different. Please feel free to message me with queries. I have a small securely fenced garden. I also have 3 different walks on my doorstep, some of which are very quiet! I also have a large crate/ bed that can be used if you wish.

About: If you’re looking for someone that puts quality care and respect at the forefront of the service they provide, for the cat, the owner and the property, you’re in luck! I am insured for peace of mind to everyone involved. Service details listed further down in my profile :) A bit about me: I have always been an animal lover, but cats are just unmatched! I get absolutely overjoyed getting to meet my friends’ cats so you can imagine how ecstatic I was when, after years of convincing, I finally got my own at the age of 15. My tuxedo, Kiko ❤️ I didn’t let anyone help me while he was a kitten, I wanted to take that responsibility myself and we developed such a special bond (I was clearly his favourite). I would even put a present under the tree for him on Christmas and celebrated every birthday of his with a mini cat-safe makeshift cake. He was only with us for 5 years due to developing terminal kidney problems, but he will always have a special place in my heart. I am so grateful to have had to opportunity to care for and spoil him, and I would love to do that for cats who really need it while their owners are away. You can trust me to treat your cat with the same care as I would my own (including knowing when they just want to be left alone😂).

“Bobby had a great stay with Jane. It was his first time there but he settled in straight away! Bobby was well looked after, so much so he barely noticed me when I went to collect him, he was too busy playing with Jane's lovely mum in the garden! I wouldn't hesitate to use Jane again, she clearly loves dogs very much and Bobby came home happy and very chilled.”

“Buddy has had 2 day visits with Heidi and has been super happy and comfortable both times. Heidi is really lovely to deal with and very knowledgeable. She straight away made him feel comfortable in the new surroundings when we arrived and reassured me (new puppy mum here!). Would highly recommend!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Dog Sitter! Sebastian was incredible with our dog, Bailey! From the very first meet & Greet, it was clear how caring and attentive he is with her. He took the time to learn about Baileys routine, preferences, and weird quirks, and kept me updated with stunning photos and messages throughout the day. I would fetch a very happy and tired pup at the end of day — it’s obvious Sebastian treated Bailey like his own. It definitely gave me such peace of mind knowing our furry family member was in such capable, loving hands. And a massive shout out to Bao! Baileys new friend 😊 Bao welcomed Bailey with open paws into her home. Bailey has been having such a blast ! Highly recommend Sebastian and Bao 😊 Dream Team!”

“Simba had a lovely time with Mylinh. He went out for a couple of walks and Mylinh kept me updated throughout with lots of pictures. I have already rebooked her again in August.”

For feline guests, I can provide a dedicated private room with litter trays, climbing shelves, scratching posts, and a cosy window bed, giving them a calm, quiet space where they can settle in at their own pace. My home also has a large, fully enclosed garden with secure fencing, so dogs have plenty of space to explore, play, and relax safely without any risk of escaping. I have a calm, patient nature and always take the time to understand each pet’s personality and body language. Whether a pet is energetic, nervous, or simply enjoys a quiet routine, I adapt my approach to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. For extra peace of mind, I’m fully insured for pet care services, so you can feel confident that your pet is in safe and responsible hands. We have 2 Italian greyhound bots, one is 2 and one is 3.5 years old. a 3yr old iggy boy, Our property has an enclosed rear garden with 6ft fences and also a gated and fenced front of house with netting to avoid those escape artists taking their chances.

About: I’ve had pets most of my life and regularly look after friends and families pets. I bought a house next to Sherrardspark woods so I could enjoy walking my dog there every day. I would love to look after your pets as if they were my own. I currently work Mon-Thurs so am usually free to dog sit Fri-Sun or I can dog walk in the evenings on my working days. My wife works from home so we can be pretty flexible if needed. I have a fenced garden with room to play and would normally walk at least twice a day. I also have experience with senior dogs who need more care (medication etc).
About: I am on another site and I also do local bookings like my neighbours and local school. I want to expand my horizon even more so have joined this site. I have been doing this for a long while. My children are used to lots of different animals from dogs to cats to guinea pigs. I have before children had a corn snake, a dog, my cat had 4 litters which we kept them all but now there is only 3 left which reside at my mothers. I have had birds also. I am used to animals and if they like to chill, then we leave them to chill. If they want a cuddle, then we are here to cuddle them. Some like to run so my eldest loves to run with them. Some like short or long walks. Some are on medication. Some miss there owners and others don't. Whatever the needs of your pet; I am experienced enough to be there for them and cater to there needs. If you do not want to mix your dog with another, then I can do this. I am flexible and home every day. We love animals and we are here for you :) I have lots and lots of photos but there all with my children so won't let me post them up but I can send you all my photos and reviews when we personally talk upon booking. I used to train to be a solicitor before I had my eldest. I now just focus on pet sitting. From Monday to Sunday this is what I do. The home is safe and the garden is fenced off. Iv never encountered any issues. If you wish for them to stay on the lead whilst outside in open spaces; then I respect this. I will listen to you.

About: Hi My Name is Jessica, I am a Huge Dog Lover and Canine Enthusiast. I have had a passion for dogs from before I was born and since then my love and knowledge for dogs has just grown and transpired. I have been caring and working with dogs for over 12 years and for the past 5 years of that I have trained Guide Dogs for the blind and other Assistance dogs. I have a certificate in both 'My Guide and Sighted Guide', which is a Guide Dogs qualification, as well as having experience with Police Dogs and other Working Dogs. I have studied as an Animal Physiologist, Dog Trainer and Groomer, with the addition of Canine Care, Behaviour, Welfare & Managment. Im a Qualified Canine First Aider and a regular First Aider. The welfare and well being of dogs is very important to me. I first started volunteering for Dog Charities and doing free dog walks for people I knew out of the love for the dogs, from that I taught myself; learnt and studied everything there was to know about canines and all their industry fields. Now I specialise and have a successful business in all your 'Canine Care' needs, and I absolutely love it. I Love caring and being with the Dogs, my life feels complete with them being a part of it. Your 'Pooch' is just waiting to fill that special place in my heart. Professional bespoke care for dogs & pets everyday. From Grooming, Training. Walking, sitting, daycare and boarding. Pet taxi & pet visits. I absolutely love being with my furry babies. 3 bedroom house specially just for the dogs. With everything included, large garden just for them, they have their own room/s, bedding, beds, bowls, blankets plenty of toys, treats. All they need.
About: I love all animals, but most of my experience is with cats. That being said, I’ve cared for many dogs in the past, as well as other small animals such as hamsters. I do my best to match the energy I get from the animals. If they are shy and quiet, I won’t push them to the point of discomfort. Equally if they are playful and cuddly, they will get as much cuddles and playtime as they need! I am currently on maternity leave with my 3 month old baby, and we go on walks multiple times a day, so would be great to take a pet with us! If not a walk, I have plenty of time each day to feed pets/provide company! My approach is to match the energy the pet gives me; I won’t push a pet out of their comfort zone, and will respect their wishes as much as possible.
“Becca helped me out on fairly short notice with a walk and a drop in visit one morning when I had to go out for work. She was punctual and very pleasant and I felt happy leaving Ginny in her care. She provided lovely updates and photos/videos on the day. Very happy to use again. Thank you Becca.”

About: I have always grown up surrounded by animals and couldn’t not imagine a household without, they are what make a house complete! Cats and duds have always been apart of my life so where i can help others with there’s i’m more than happy to. I currently work from home monday to friday 9-6 so i am in most the time so i am available to tend to your animal as much as they need. on weekends i am around most the time as i do like to spend these relaxing so only the odd occasion would the animal be at home but not for long. When caring for a cat, whether in my home or the owner's, it's important to maintain their usual routine to help reduce stress. This includes feeding them at their regular times, refreshing their water daily, and cleaning the litter box at least once a day. Cats also need social interaction, so spending time playing, petting, or simply sitting with them can help keep them happy and engaged which is exactly what i offer. If the cat requires medication or has special needs, administering care as instructed by the owner is essential and i am happy to follow this. Over time i have also learnt it’s important to respect their space by keeping things clean and secure. If the cat is staying in my hime, I provide a quiet, safe area with familiar items like their bed, toys, or a scratching post to help them feel comfortable.

“Harry, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, had a wonderful time staying with Sarah. He loved her other Cavaliers and enjoyed great walks and lots of cuddles. He was so chilled when we arrived back to pick him up that he barely lifted his head from the comfiest, softiest bean bag that I've ever seen! We had a wonderful holiday knowing that Harry was being cared for with kindness and love. We can't thank you enough and look forward to seeing you soon!”

“Another lovely stay for Tiffy with Gabriella. Lots of fun walks, plenty of ball play and even a trip to the zoo where she saw animals beyond her imagination for the first time. Thanks again Gabriella.”

“Andrea was absolutely brilliant! I needed to board my dog at her place for a night at very short notice, and she couldn't have been more accommodating. She kept me fully informed throughout with photos and videos, which put my mind at ease. The whole process was so easy for all of us. My dog, Taxi clearly had a fantastic time – the photos speak for themselves! I would definitely recommend Andrea to anyone. She's been absolutely fabulous.”

“Ethan was fantastic from the initial communications all the way through to the end of Daphne’s stay. Ethan catered to all our requirements and gave lots of lovely updates to let me know how she was getting on. Daphne was clearly well looked after and loved so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.”

“Sarah was lovely she really looked after our slightly confused french bulldog!!! Would thoroughly recommend her and will go back to her when the need arises. Thank you Sarah”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, at one point we had five at home, so a busy, dog-filled house is all I’ve ever known. I’ve looked after dogs for friends and family over the years, from quick check-ins to longer stays, and I genuinely love it. My 5 year old Labrador, Kaia, is brilliantly socialised and absolutely loves having other dogs around, so any dog staying with me will have a ready made friend from day one. I’m home most of the day, which means no long stretches alone… just company, routine and plenty of fuss. Your dog will be treated exactly like mine 🤍 I take bookings year round. I work from home most of the time, but I am very flexible and will make sure I do not leave your dog alone. My home is set up for dogs, I have a fully fenced garden and a sociable five-year-old Lab who loves company. Dogs staying with me have space to run, and a four-legged friend to keep them entertained. I’m happy to accommodate any routines, dietary needs or preferences to make the stay as familiar as possible. I also have space for crates if that is part of your dogs routine.
