About: Although we don’t currently own a cat, they’ve always had a special place in my heart. We had a lovely cat when I was younger, and after she passed away, we just couldn’t bring ourselves to replace her. More recently, my sister returned from Australia with a little moggy she’d rescued and cared for while she was there, which sums up the kind of family we are. “Sherry looked after my cat for a week while I was on holiday. Jessie is nearly 18 and has not been left for over 10 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving her. Sherry was so reassuring and I felt she could be trusted to take care of Jessie, I could tell she was an animal lover. I received daily updates which was lovely and eased my worry enabling me to enjoy my holiday. Jessie had a few accidents in the house but Sherry cleared up all the mess. About: I have taken care of dogs since very young. Starting with a family dog, a border collie, who we were lucky enough to have from a pup to 14! To now, I have a 3 year old vizlsa who I have had since 9weeks.. I have trained him since he was a tiny puppy and now have my very own Velcro dog! However if your fur baby prefers to be the only pet, I have my parents living local that love to take care of my Barney. I also look after friends dogs when they are away, these range in size and age from a 8 year old kelpie to a 2 year old cocker poo. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and will welcome them into my home like they are my own 🐶 I currently work as a serving firefighter, my shift pattern allows me a lot of time off. However each week is not the same for me, I work an 8 day rotation so each week is slightly different. Please feel free to message me with queries. I have a small securely fenced garden. I’ve grown up with dogs and I have a very active 2 year old Labrador at home who loves long walks and playing with his ball! My flatmate at university has an elderly cocker spaniel who I’ve helped look after for 2 years so I’m comfortable looking after all sorts of dogs with different temperaments and needs. About: I am on another site and I also do local bookings like my neighbours and local school. I want to expand my horizon even more so have joined this site. I have been doing this for a long while. My children are used to lots of different animals from dogs to cats to guinea pigs. I have before children had a corn snake, a dog, my cat had 4 litters which we kept them all but now there is only 3 left which reside at my mothers. I have had birds also. I am used to animals and if they like to chill, then we leave them to chill. If they want a cuddle, then we are here to cuddle them. Some like to run so my eldest loves to run with them. Some like short or long walks. Some are on medication. Some miss there owners and others don't. Whatever the needs of your pet; I am experienced enough to be there for them and cater to there needs. If you do not want to mix your dog with another, then I can do this. I am flexible and home every day. We love animals and we are here for you :) I have lots and lots of photos but there all with my children so won't let me post them up but I can send you all my photos and reviews when we personally talk upon booking. I used to train to be a solicitor before I had my eldest. I now just focus on pet sitting. From Monday to Sunday this is what I do. The home is safe and the garden is fenced off. Iv never encountered any issues. If you wish for them to stay on the lead whilst outside in open spaces; then I respect this. I will listen to you.
About: I love all animals, but most of my experience is with cats. That being said, I’ve cared for many dogs in the past, as well as other small animals such as hamsters. I do my best to match the energy I get from the animals. If they are shy and quiet, I won’t push them to the point of discomfort. Equally if they are playful and cuddly, they will get as much cuddles and playtime as they need! I am currently on maternity leave with my 3 month old baby, and we go on walks multiple times a day, so would be great to take a pet with us! If not a walk, I have plenty of time each day to feed pets/provide company! I currently work from home monday to friday 9-6 so i am in most the time so i am available to tend to your animal as much as they need. on weekends i am around most the time as i do like to spend these relaxing so only the odd occasion would the animal be at home but not for long. When caring for a cat, whether in my home or the owner's, it's important to maintain their usual routine to help reduce stress. This includes feeding them at their regular times, refreshing their water daily, and cleaning the litter box at least once a day. Cats also need social interaction, so spending time playing, petting, or simply sitting with them can help keep them happy and engaged which is exactly what i offer. If the cat requires medication or has special needs, administering care as instructed by the owner is essential and i am happy to follow this. Over time i have also learnt it’s important to respect their space by keeping things clean and secure. If the cat is staying in my hime, I provide a quiet, safe area with familiar items like their bed, toys, or a scratching post to help them feel comfortable.

I work part time, I’m quite flexible and my job is local to WGC. I do not provide dog sitting at my house however I have a fully fenced yard, two cats who have been around dogs and fully accustomed, they tend to stay away from dogs but have two doggy friends a westie x a Bichon x and a cockapoo pup.

“We left our nervous rescue dog with Andrea for a week to attend our son's wedding abroad as we knew that he would find a kennel environment distressing.
