Jin helped us out massively with a last minute booking. Our Lucifer can be quite nervous meeting new people the first time, but Jin had such a calming and confident presence, we immediately knew she was in good hands. She walked off with him without looking back once! Jin kept us up to date and sent some pictures which was really reassuring and allowed us to enjoy our evening without worrying. We will definitely reach out to Jin again when we need a sitter!

About: I am back after a long break away! I have had pets since I was 10; ranging from rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, dogs…you name it! Animals have a special place in my heart and nothing is too much for them in my care. I currently have 1 beautiful dog who I love more than life. Pets are family, and I know how hard it is to find trustworthy people. I am here for anyone who is anxious in finding a decent sitter/boarder/walker. I will always do my best to go over and beyond to make sure your pet has the best time in my care. I also have a 1 year old daughter who is used to and loves dogs. I currently work part time from home and have time to help you with looking after your pet and walking them. I have a decent sized garden and all the space your pet will ever need. I have a fenced garden and spare crate if your dog needs crating. I will never leave them unattended and fully understand how impressive supervision is, as I have a very playful doggy myself. Your pet will be pampered in my care.

I couldn't be happier with the care my dogs received. From the start, they were professional, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. They kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. My dogs was happy, well exercised, and comfortable throughout the stay. It was obvious that they received plenty of attention, affection, and care. I would highly recommend this dog sitter to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. About: I have taken care of a variety of different dogs from a Chihuahua, to an XL bulldog/cane corso. My love for dogs is never ending. I’ve had dogs my whole life as my own pets, and spent the last 5 years looking after so many. It’s simple… I just love being with them. My relationship with dogs feels so natural to me. Every dog is different, and I always take the time to get to know what makes each one happy and comfortable. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and it makes me so happy to see them relaxed, safe, and enjoying their day. Looking after dogs isn’t just a job for me, it’s what I genuinely love to do. I’m a nature-loving, animal-loving, mum to a beautiful, almost 2 year old, baby girl. I’ve always found peace being outdoors, whether it’s walking dogs, exploring woodlands, or just enjoying quiet moments in nature. I care deeply for animals and people, and I believe in showing kindness, patience, and love in everything I do. Being a mum has made my heart even bigger, and I bring that same affection and care to every dog that stays with me. My home is calm, warm, and full of love – for my little girl, and for every animal that becomes part of our days🤍I am free most weekdays and weekends 🤍 I live in a flat, however I live amongst so much greenery, rivers and lakes. A dogs paradise if they can keep up with the amount of walking I do 🥰 although shorter walks for our smaller doggy’s is of course an option! I am here to cater to your needs and fit in everything you want and expect for a perfect dog boarding experience🤍

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since the day I was born and absolutely LOVE dogs. I’ve had big dogs, small dogs and pretty much any breed you can imagine! At the moment I’ve got a little yorkie who is extremely friendly with all dogs and humans (she loves making new doggy friends ☺️) I have looked after many of my friends & family’s dogs before and am very reliable. I’m currently working part time (mainly on weekends), so I have a lot of time to play with your dog and take them on long, green walks! I spend most of my weekdays taking my dog on new walks so she can enjoy different smells and scenery. I have a very friendly yorkie (2 years old), who loves to play and socialise with others. I take her out on long walks every day and try to take her to many different terrains (grass, ponds, rivers, boardwalks, woodland walks etc) I can be home all day to care for your dog, I have puppy pads or if they are used to peeing outside, I have a front door that leads directly to grassy fields (which I can take your dog out as often as they need for toilet breaks) My dog sleeps in my bed with me and is allowed on sofas, so if your dog is used to being pampered they will get the same treatment here! ☺️

I had such a great experience leaving my dog with Claire for the day. She took the time to meet me beforehand, which really put me at ease. It was clear right away that she genuinely loves animals, and her daughters were just as lovely, you could tell they were excited to have a dog around! My pup was happy, well looked after, and came home relaxed and content. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Claire again. Highly recommend! X

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Broxbourne

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Broxbourne on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 16,106 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Broxbourne. About 86% of Broxbourne sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Broxbourne commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
