About: As a toddler, I learnt to walk with the help of my family's gorgeous golden retriever. I now live on a narrowboat and move around East and North East London, spending my time walking around Lea Valley Park, Hackney Marshes and Victoria Park with various furry friends, some of whom also enjoy stays on my boat. While I don't have a private garden, I do always have the towpath and usually a big park right on my doorstep. I work freelance from home as a translator, so my day-to-day is very flexible. Whether there's a dog staying or not, my days always start with a walk or a run around my local green space. I love being outdoors so would welcome dogs who need longer and/or more frequent walks, but am also happy to provide cuddles and a calm environment at home. My boat has a comfy sofa and space for a crate if required. About: I was born and raised surrounded by dogs and cats. Because I am the youngest, it was always my responsibility, feeding, bathing and walking the dogs. The cats was easy, to look after, making sure they have food and water, and that their litter box was cleaned but always being ready for a cuddle. I work full time, but the great thing about my job, if it's a small dog, they can join me at work but bigger dogs, I do have flexible schedule at work, so can make sure they can go for a quick walk 2-3 times a day, while they staying at home. My weekends are generally free, for dog walking or dog/cat sitting. I will ask the owners to tell me their dog/cat like/dislikes, schedule of feeding times, favourite toys/snacks and also if their dog/cat sleep in their bed with them, I won't object at all. Anything to make sure the dog/cat is relaxed in their home environment, without getting too anxious, while their owners are away.

About: I have looked after a cat,dogs, chinchillas, hamsters, and Guinea pigs.This is from me owning them myself or pet Sitting for friends and families. I had to care for my sweet little boy since he was a tiny 2 week old after his mummy abandoned him. This was a great opportunity and a beautiful experience to have such a dependent baby kitten in my life. I needed to help him to learn how to use the toilet and had to feed him milk with a spoon. I had to make sure he was warm enough and giving lots of love and affection , which only made our bond stronger. This was very different to the older cats I've rescued in my life. I've also had 2 dogs so aware of dental care, wrapping them up warm in winter and giving them lots of stimulation throughout the day. I am currently on maternity leave so from now until April 2025.I am fully available as I am home all day. From April, I only go into the office one day a week and the rest of the time I am working from home so your furry/ fluffy friend will have my company throughout the day. As a pet owner myself, I understand the anxiety and stress that comes with trying to find a reliable sitter. I will always send pictures updates Or have my phone available for you to call and Check-in whenever you need to. Because that's exactly what I do I have a fenced off garden? I have had cats and dogs myself. So I understand the importance of. Check-in the areas if IM going out with your dog checking it. Say check if there's other big dogs around that your dog might be scared of if your cats come in here. Make sure that they have a safe place where they can hide a snug. If they just feel anxious I will have all the systems in place to go. I know exactly what my dogs and my cats were like,and how I felt been on the other end.

About: We’re long-term dog owners and have two resident dogs at home: Oli (18) & Monty (11). Plus we also have three cats. There are also two teenage girls roaming around. Whilst it is not sensible for us to add any more fur-babies to our current pack, we love having a houseful of dogs of all shapes and sizes, and would like to offer a home from home for those who's parents are out of town but hate the thought of leaving their babies in kennels (we hear ya!) We don't have strict rules with our dogs; they're just as much as part of the family as our kids are, or us. They have free run of the house and are allowed on furniture and beds. We can provide food or dietary needs as required and always have a stock of treats in our cupboard. I work shifts and my husband is self-employed so there is generally always someone at home, and our own dogs are very rarely left home alone. We have a fenced off garden for security, and there is usually always someone home. Our children are teenagers so are grown up and responsible, and dog-savvy having grown up with them since birth.

He has lots of space to run around, a big garden to explore and a forest nearby for walkies. River even 'helps' Sophia do her jobs for the day by being a cosy lap warmer. From the initial meeting he was clearly comfortable and happy to be there. River has certainly got a bestie in Sophia.

Rasmus had an absolutely amazing day with Ellie and Daisy and we couldn’t be happier! Ellie was quick to respond to messages and was very flexible to our needs on the day as we were attending a wedding. I’d given an open time we were going to drop him off and collected him earlier than planned and Ellie was happy to accommodate my requests. Ellie’s house was very dog friendly and they had a lovely garden he was exploring right away. When we got there, Daisy was out on a walk to give Rasmus time to settle in before he met her but when I returned to pick him up, there were two noses poking through the door to greet me and they looked the best of friends. Ellie had booked an enclosed field to take them to that day which was absolutely brilliant for Rasmus as a high energy dog, he needs to burn it off and sometimes a standard walk just doesn’t do it for him. We had a trip back to Norwich after Rasmus’s stay and he was zonked the whole way home. He is even still tired this morning! Thank you so much Ellie! If we are down your way again then we will certainly be using your services.
