About: I have raised a puppy by myself and he is now a fun loving, non-anxious, loving dog. I attended training classes with him. I have looked after friends and families dogs for many years. Further, being a Psychologist I know lots about how to help pets feel safe and happy, and I'm attuned to their needs! I work mostly from home. At weekends I do not work and will dedicate my time to the pets in my care. I have my dog living with me, and he gets a minimum of two good walks a day, as well as play time and stimulation such as sniff mats. I would do the same with your own dog. Or if they love to sleep all day, that's fine too! I live in a house with few visitors/ disturbances. I have a good sized, fully fenced garden. My own dog is a loving dog towards all people and animals. He has never shown any signs of aggression nor possesivenss and would be happy to share his space and toys! I would not leave your dog home alone whilst they're in my care. They will be treated as if they were one of my own. I offer a home away from home!

About: I have had dogs for my whole life along with cats and horses. I often look after family friends dogs & have experience with lively dogs and more recently with our old senior dog Alfie who we had for over 12 years. Sadly we had him put down and the house feels very lonely without a dog. Every animal I look after I will treat like my own and always be empathetic and kind. I’m available for boarding for long weekends, I enjoy going for nice long walks and live along a river so have lots of nice long walks around me. I also often look after a friends horse at the weekend and the horse is near Hatfield Forest so I have lots of lovely walks to take your dogs on. I live in a first floor flat with only three other flats, we have a bottom front door that is always locked. I also live in a gated development so it is very safe.

Below you'll find more details about me, and my love and experience with dogs. 10 years ago I opened my own dog sitting business to help out neighbours who were going into work and leaving their dogs at home. Fast forward to now and having moved house to Harlow, I want to do the same thing to help people out! I have always loved dogs, I am the type of person who stops on a walk to say hello and pet them! With a big push for return to work, I know people struggle to look after their pets and I hope to be able to help with that. I have extensive experience having looked after over 200 different dogs (yes I can name them all!!) And would love to look after more! I work from home permanently so I am always around. I have a big garden and live a road over from a big field perfect for walking through! I'm also aware of how expensive things are at the moment, so please do contact me if you are looking for a cheaper rate. I will always do what I can to help out, and I'm not doing this for the money which is why my rates are as low as they can be on rover! I work from home full time, so I am free whenever! Having the company of the dog is a benefit to me as well as a benefit to your pet! I always make sure to follow whatever guidelines you as an owner give me. At the end of the day your pet will feel most comfortable following the same routine it does at home. All I ask is you tell me any and all details around your dog such as behaviour issues. This will not effect your booking but rather it will allow me to tailor the care to suit them better. Please note although I have ticked pets allowed on furniture, I'd your presence is no to this I will follow that!

“Well what can I say. We are first time puppy parents and this was the first time we had left Monty. The whole process from enquiry, to booking to meet and greet was seemless. Ashley reassured us from the word go. It was obvious at the meet and greet that Ashley has a great love of animals and is also very intuitive to their needs and behaviours. On the day we left Monty, Ashley updated us throughout the day with photos and videos. In every one we could see he was happy, settled and having fun. There was clearly no separation anxiety on his part ! We would highly recommend Ashley and will definitely be happy to leave our boy in his care again. Thank you Ashley.”

About: I have had dogs all my life, specifically Staffordshire Bull Terriers so can certainly handle larger, strong and energetic dogs. My last (Archie) was my world, I miss our playing around, walks and his crazy energetic personality. I am able to be assertive and ensure good behaviour of dogs and also have fun with them and give them plenty of attention as they deserve. If I take on a job I would be completely available with the pets and monitoring at all times. I am very flexible with my time. I have a fenced garden, plenty of tennis balls and will be there with the dog/dogs. I hold an Enhanced DBS and also know foods not to give dogs and also how to administer medication if needed.
