“Laurita took care of my 4 month old Bichon Frise puppy. I literally had my puppy barely a week and needed someone to take care of him for the day because I needed to attend an emergency memorial on the Isle of Wight. He was scared when he got there and I was worried but she put my mind at ease and sent me some amazing video clip updates of him playing with her dog and absolutely loving being there and 100% happy. Her dog is so gorgeous as well— he was like an older sibling. She was also kind enough to give him a bath which I’m so grateful for. He looked beautiful when I picked him up. It is clear to see that Laurita is a dog lover and took care of Ceaser like he was her own. I was so lucky to find her and I will definitely be going to her again if I need her to take care of Ceaser. I also was stuck in traffic on the M25 and was going to arrive late to pick him up but she was so flexible. Thank you so much Laurita for taking care of Ceaser, you are a one of a kind, caring, lovely person.”

“Carina was fantastic, was very prompt with replies and kept me updated with pictures to how Casper was doing. She was very flexible with the drop off and pickup times, and Casper seemed to really enjoy himself. I felt very safe leaving Casper with her, and would use her again 🥰”

“Ezgi has been sitting Luna 3 days a week for the last month and she has been amazing and super flexible to the times I needed. Luna would get excited when we neared Ezgi's house and was always happy when I collected. Thank you, and we will see you again. :)”

“Amazing short notice daycare! With less than 48 hours notice, Daniel managed to fit in a quick meet and greet, take on board all info and provide amazing day care for Doug. Regular photos and videos received. Doug returned happy and tired. Will 100% be rebooking the next time I need doggy day care. Thank you!!”

“Jennette has so much experience with dogs and has 3 adorable dogs 😍 she was great at sending updates throughout the day and when I went collect. Rocky took to her straight away. I will definitely use Jennette again 😊”

We stay in most weekends (will just need notice). We both work from home in the week and one of us are always home every day of the week. As mentioned we are both active people and walk everyday so would fit in with our schedules. We have a fenced garden which can be used. “Thank you so much to Janey for looking after Meli for the day. Janey is very friendly and welcoming, with a lovely home and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. Yogi is the sweetest little thing. Janey was really patient with our Meli who took a while to settle down. She was reassuring and understanding and we felt very comfortable leaving Meli with her. Thanks again!”

“Beatriz, Matt, Sofi & Lupa were so welcoming - Ember felt right at home. As a new puppy owner I instantly felt relaxed and knew she was in safe hands. Couldn’t have asked for better”

About: With years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog owner, I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior, needs, and communication. What makes me unique is my intuitive approach to individual dog personalities. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Whether it’s building trust with a rescue, managing high-energy breeds, or creating routines that support both mental stimulation and calm, I tailor my approach to each dog’s temperament, age, and background. From daily walks and training reinforcement to grooming, nutrition, and health monitoring, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors dogs, gaining practical knowledge in everything from socialization to medication management. I’m not just experienced—I’m passionate. Dogs aren’t just pets; they’re companions, and family. That belief drives my commitment to giving them the best life possible. I am available morning noon and night I can also come and walk your dog whenever you need. I can also do long or short term boarding. I’m an active, animal-loving woman with a real passion for spending time with dogs. I have a secure, fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, plus I’m lucky to live near beautiful open fields—ideal for long, enriching walks and plenty of sniffing adventures! I truly understand that dogs are sensitive, social animals who don’t enjoy being left alone. That’s why I’m committed to giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I love to play, cuddle, and simply be present with them, making sure they feel relaxed, happy, and loved at all times.
“My puppy, Milo, really enjoyed his first Doggy Daycare Day, he settled in straight away and Clare kept me updated with photos on how he was doing. I would highly recommend Clare's services!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—cats, dogs, and everything in between—and caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand that every pet has their own personality, preferences, and pace, and I’m always patient and respectful of that. Whether it’s going for a walk, giving belly rubs, playing fetch, or just being there for quiet company, I love connecting with pets and making them feel safe and loved. You can count on me to treat your pet like one of my own—with kindness, attention, and care. I’m currently working from home so have a lot of availability through the week and on weekends if needed. Can drive a reasonable distance from Harlow i have a fully secure garden. With one small dog in the house, no children. I’m a very responsible dog owner and often care for friends and family animals
“Excellent daycare. Lots of care and affection given, great communication and flexibility. A good amount of exercise and attention. Our cockapoo was relaxed and happy. Would definitely book again.”

About: I was born and raised surrounded by dogs and cats. Because I am the youngest, it was always my responsibility, feeding, bathing and walking the dogs. The cats was easy, to look after, making sure they have food and water, and that their litter box was cleaned but always being ready for a cuddle. I work full time, but the great thing about my job, if it's a small dog, they can join me at work but bigger dogs, I do have flexible schedule at work, so can make sure they can go for a quick walk 2-3 times a day, while they staying at home. My weekends are generally free, for dog walking or dog/cat sitting. I will ask the owners to tell me their dog/cat like/dislikes, schedule of feeding times, favourite toys/snacks and also if their dog/cat sleep in their bed with them, I won't object at all. Anything to make sure the dog/cat is relaxed in their home environment, without getting too anxious, while their owners are away.

Daniel has looked after our elderly dog a few times now in preparation for a pending doggy holiday with Daniel and his family. We are kept up to date and our doggy has a waggy tail when he starts to visit. I wish I had known about this sooner I would have started using years ago.

My Cockapoo Jeanie had a great day at Carina’s house playing with her dog Bella and her daughter. She was treated like part of the family right away and made herself at home in Bella’s comfy bed. Played in the garden throughout the day and went on a nice walk too. It was so nice to receive update photos and messages while I was at work and I felt happy knowing she was being cared for and I didn’t have to worry. Thank you Carina, Jeanie looks forward to her next stay with you 🥰

Rasmus had an absolutely amazing day with Ellie and Daisy and we couldn’t be happier! Ellie was quick to respond to messages and was very flexible to our needs on the day as we were attending a wedding. I’d given an open time we were going to drop him off and collected him earlier than planned and Ellie was happy to accommodate my requests. Ellie’s house was very dog friendly and they had a lovely garden he was exploring right away. When we got there, Daisy was out on a walk to give Rasmus time to settle in before he met her but when I returned to pick him up, there were two noses poking through the door to greet me and they looked the best of friends. Ellie had booked an enclosed field to take them to that day which was absolutely brilliant for Rasmus as a high energy dog, he needs to burn it off and sometimes a standard walk just doesn’t do it for him. We had a trip back to Norwich after Rasmus’s stay and he was zonked the whole way home. He is even still tired this morning! Thank you so much Ellie! If we are down your way again then we will certainly be using your services.

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
