I have always had a genuine love for animals. I grew up with a cocker spaniel named Max, who lived to 18 and truly felt like a best friend. Over the years I have lived in homes with multiple cats, dogs, fish, and even an African Grey parrot, so I am very comfortable caring for a wide range of pets and their individual needs. I have also supported local owners through Borrow My Doggy, helping neighbours with walks, feeding, and general care whenever they needed an extra hand. I take pride in being reliable, gentle, and attentive, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own. I would be delighted to help care for your pet and ensure they feel safe, happy, and well looked-after.

Daniel looked after our Velcro Vizsla Fudge for a week. Fudge was very well cared for; plenty of treats, cuddles, comfort (allowed in the sofa) and walks. We also received photos and videos and was a relief to see Fudge so settled and happy. Daniel knew that Fudge was clingy so took him everywhere and even placed the dog’s bed under his desk. Thank you Daniel! We will definitely be back
Daniel and Bridget were brilliant with my two dogs. Caring gentle and quiet, just what my girls needed. By the end of their dodgy day care the dogs were stretched out on the sofa next to Daniel and Bridget. I've already booked them in for another stay and they are definitely my 'go to' carers from now on. I'm so happy to have found them. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Maisie was so happy staying with Daniel for a few days. I had lots of pictures and messages from Daniel, of the fun Maisie was having.
We left our 13 year old staffy for the first time with Dan for over two weeks. We were so nervous, not because of Dan but how our dog would react to the change as he is old. We needn’t have been! H was happy and cared for, we got an update most days of Bill having cuddles and walks with Dan and his family. We are kicking ourselves for not using Dan sooner. Thank you so much ☺️
2nd time using Dan with our old boy Bill. They are becoming firm friends and getting to know each other really well. Bill gets very excited when seeing Dan.
Daniel has looked after our elderly dog a few times now in preparation for a pending doggy holiday with Daniel and his family. We are kept up to date and our doggy has a waggy tail when he starts to visit. I wish I had known about this sooner I would have started using years ago.

Schedule
As a civil design engineer who mostly works from home, I have the flexibility to fit pet care naturally into my day. I take morning and lunchtime walks every day, so active dogs are more than welcome to join me and burn off some energy. If your pet prefers a quieter pace, I’m just as happy to spend time with them relaxing and giving plenty of attention and cuddles. Your pet will never be short of company or care.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, they’ll have access to the whole house, including a spacious garden for playtime and toilet breaks, and a cosy conservatory or sofa to relax on. I follow your routine exactly — whether that’s feeding, walks, medication, or specific care instructions. I always make sure the environment is safe and free from anything that could harm your pet, so you can feel confident they’re well looked after. If you prefer care in your own home, I’m equally happy to look after your pet there. I will treat your home with complete respect, keep everything tidy, and make sure your pet feels comfortable in their familiar surroundings.
A typical day
I’ll take them out for walks, play games with them, give them lots of fuss and attention, and make sure they feel relaxed and happy. I enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they’re comfortable, entertained, and well looked after while you’re away.
