“Ewelina was really quick to respond to our sitting request and super easy to deal with. She looked after my Weimaraner for one afternoon and kept me updated with lots of beautiful photos of Leia's playtime. Right before bringing Leia to me, Ewelina took her to the park for an hour and brought me a really happy, tired and relaxed dog. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with Ewelina again. Thank you!”

“I had such a great experience leaving my dog with Claire for the day. She took the time to meet me beforehand, which really put me at ease. It was clear right away that she genuinely loves animals, and her daughters were just as lovely, you could tell they were excited to have a dog around! My pup was happy, well looked after, and came home relaxed and content. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Claire again. Highly recommend! X”

“Begona and family looked after Caju on Easter Sunday and were great company for her. Begona’s communication was fantastic, and they took her on multiple walks with Rango throughout the day, for which it was so nice for her to have some doggy company. We’d definitely use them again for Caju 😃”

“Anna and her family are amazing! My dog loves going there - we are a repeat booker! I fully relax and never worry when Milo’s with Anna and she always keeps me updated with photos and videos.”

“Rosie is always fantastic with my whippet puppy, and I feel so at ease leaving her. I can tell that she has a great time when I come to collect her. I get regular updates, and Rosie always communicates well and has been really accommodating to us. Thank you! :)”

“Our little shy and a bit nervous poodle princess had a great time with Ludovica. She made her feel at home straight away and she relaxed quickly. Ludovica is an excellent sitter and I couldn't recommend her enough. Thank you!”

“Finn had another great day with Alex! He is so excited when we get there and Alex is really responsive to his needs and is great at communicating throughout Finns stay”

“From the start Angela was enthusiastic and welcoming. She bent over backwards to make it possible for Mindy to spend time with her, so I knew Mindy would be well taken care of and she was! I will definitely use this sitter again.”

“So happy to have found Natalie!! Would definitely recommend. From the outset Natalie was so lovely to communicate with- friendly and quick to reply- and took the time to read the notes we gave on our dog, Moose, which we really appreciated! Moose can be a little nervous at first and Natalie and her partner were incredibly gentle with her. They sent photos and gave us updates during the day. Moose clearly had had the best day and didn’t want to leave them! Will be booking again!”

“Evelyn looked after Riley for us twice and both experiences were great. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind, and Riley always seemed happy and comfortable in her care. It’s clear she genuinely loves dogs and Riley really took to her. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and would happily recommend her to others”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since the day I was born and absolutely LOVE dogs. I’ve had big dogs, small dogs and pretty much any breed you can imagine! At the moment I’ve got a little yorkie who is extremely friendly with all dogs and humans (she loves making new doggy friends ☺️) I have looked after many of my friends & family’s dogs before and am very reliable. I’m currently working part time (mainly on weekends), so I have a lot of time to play with your dog and take them on long, green walks! I spend most of my weekdays taking my dog on new walks so she can enjoy different smells and scenery. I have a very friendly yorkie (2 years old), who loves to play and socialise with others. I take her out on long walks every day and try to take her to many different terrains (grass, ponds, rivers, boardwalks, woodland walks etc) I can be home all day to care for your dog, I have puppy pads or if they are used to peeing outside, I have a front door that leads directly to grassy fields (which I can take your dog out as often as they need for toilet breaks) My dog sleeps in my bed with me and is allowed on sofas, so if your dog is used to being pampered they will get the same treatment here! ☺️
“Ariane looked after Wilf really well whilst he had an upset stomach and kept me informed about how he was doing throughout the day. She was a great sitter and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!”

Katie was absolutely brilliant! She was extremely organised from start to finish and took such great care of Brownie. She kept us really well informed throughout, which gave us complete peace of mind, and sent us lots of lovely pictures and updates. It was clear that Brownie was happy, comfortable and very well looked after. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Katie again and would highly recommend her!

10/10, highly recommend! Fiona replied very quickly, followed all our instructions, and gave our dog so much love. Meet and greet was great, she didn’t rush us, took the time to understand Gillie’s needs. By the end Gillie was sitting right next to Fiona which is very unusual for him to sit with new people. I left Gillie with Fiona for 6 hours, this was the first time he’s ever stayed with someone he doesn’t know on his own. We arrived and he went running in with his tail wagging, didn’t bat an eye lid when I left. On pick up he was happy to see me but I could see how comfortable he was being there, he wasn’t in a rush to leave which tells me everything I need to know.

I couldn't be happier with the care my dogs received. From the start, they were professional, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. They kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. My dogs was happy, well exercised, and comfortable throughout the stay. It was obvious that they received plenty of attention, affection, and care. I would highly recommend this dog sitter to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my dog, I will definitely book again! 🐾

We booked Claire to look after our dog Knox for a full day while we got married, and she was absolutely brilliant! Knox came home happy, tired in the best way, and clearly well loved. Claire made sure he had plenty of walks, loads of stimulation, and was well fed throughout the day - everything we could have asked for, especially on such a big occasion. It was such a relief knowing he was in safe, caring hands while we celebrated. Knox absolutely loved Claire's home and family, which meant we could fully enjoy our wedding day without a single worry. We'll 100% be booking again - can't recommend her enough! 🐾

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
