While with me your pets will be treated no different to as if they were in there own homes, they will not be kennelled or not crated unless this is something you do at home for bed times, they will have free roam of the house if they get along with cats otherwise will be secluded from one room to keep them apart from my little ones. I have a fenced garden which they are free to use as and when they like, and on days off our days will consist of play times, down time and long relaxing walks in parks or if the weather is extra nice; the beach! I am very proactive with furry friends and find a lot of joy in adventuring and doing different things that mentally stimulate them and myself!

A typical day

We have 3 different parks in the area all around a 10minute walk from home and all are gated and marshes just a short car ride away! However my favourite and most used park is Whitewebbs/Forty hall, this is a large forestry park, which also has miles of fields, forest walk ways, river path that can be walked in and horse walkways! Alternatively I also use Trent park which is just as beautiful and open but tends to be a lot more busier! We also have short river side pathways that arent busy a mile long for smaller/older dogs that aren’t able to run/walk for as long. Playing games such as fetch, tough of war, flirt pole, water games (summer season only). Before home time your furry friend will have some refreshing water and a short break to catch there breath ready to go back home. Daily activities will change so your pet does not get bored and home games will be played to keep them occupied when they are not out on a walk. Walks will either be given 3times a day for more energetic dogs once in the morning for 30minutes, an hour and 10minutes walk in the after noon and another 30minutes walk in the evening during the winter, in summer I do tend to spend more time outdoors sometimes most of the day, we’ll visit pet friendly businesses, or simply sitting in a park, this is heat dependant on overly hot days we will be home keeping as cool as possible until we can walk! For less energetic/smaller or senior dogs that can’t cope with longer walks will be walked 15minutes in the morning, 30minutes in the afternoon, 15minutes around late afternoon and 30minutes in the evening. If your smaller dog can cope with longer walk and longer playtime then the original times will apply. In the summer we will still be outdoors but will be walking less and sitting down more to get the fresh air in! If you have a preferred time and length for your dog to be walked then that can also be discussed!

Pet care experience

Over the last few years I did come away from pet sitting, and only kept a handful of fury babies that I would look after. However I have decided to come back to it and start reaccepting new pups to look after! Flexible with time and visiting, my home has a medium sized garden which is suitable for small to large sized dogs to run around and go toilet! I studied animal care for one year at Capel Manor College. While I was not sitting I went into training reactive dogs instead; however this is not something that I will be offering. I am able to flea & worm treatment, groom, give injections; also general care and attention, this experience has all been gained through hands on experience over many years gained from my own, family members, studying and of course your dogs, understanding every dog is not the same and each have different needs is very important. Which brings me to my reviews, there has always been positive feedback from my pet owners that have used me, besides one; having high volume of dogs at once, and owners being unaware of some behaviours, caused a knock-on issue, which was resolved as quickly and efficiently as it could of been. Though part of the review is true and for that area I do apologise, but is not the whole story or what may of been thought is not true. So I kindly ask that you do not hold this review as a representation of the service! I do take a lot of pride and a lot of love in what I do and with animals. The ordeal was a massive learning experience as I was still new to having so many different dogs from different homes at one time, and also new to having larger dogs at once, even with all the correct steps, having the owners there for multiple introduction with eachother before there stay! The two pups one being a dobie and the other a gsd, that became problematic, were my closest client’s and most regularly looked after pups for years there after. The importance of notifying the behavioural issues of your dog is extremely important to keep both them and others safe, you will not be turned away for it and I am more then happy to work with them and you in a safe way that protects everyone ! I’d also like to pay tribute to Athos & Abe🩵and having them both on my profile to keep there memory alive!

Jeyda looked after Demi and Lily for 7 nights, and they both left happy. She sent frequent updates and took them on long walks. Demi is high energy and I bet it wasn't easy to deal with her at times.

Jeyda was great at taking care of Coco. Our dog was exhausted after the day care. There was some delay in getting updates but we were also scared as he is a reactive dog. He had a lot of fun with Jeyda and we will definitely be keeping Coco with Jeyda again!

All 3 dogs were looked after really well. Jeyda, is very flexible in arranging drop off and collection and provided us with plenty of useful feedback. She got the dogs settled quickly, and from the numerous videos, the dogs were really happy. I will book again.

Jeyda was great with Kevin! He seemed to really enjoy his stay and didn’t want to leave which is always a nice sign. Kevin has a tendency to be very stubborn and anxious at times, but Jeyda took great care of him and was super patient. Thank you!
