To help keep all dogs calm, settled, and safe, drop-offs and collections usually take place at the door and are kept brief. This is especially important when other dogs are present, as it helps reduce over-excitement and stress. For short stays or the first day of boarding, I focus on helping dogs settle into their new environment. Dogs have access to the garden for toileting and play, and walks may not always take place on the first day or during very bad weather. I’m always happy to follow specific routines or provide extra reassurance where needed. Please feel free to share any expectations, preferences, or questions before booking so I can make sure my care is the right fit for your dog. I’m a dedicated and experienced dog sitter with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies, senior dogs, and those recovering from surgery. I have also owned both a French Bulldog and a Poodle, which gave me valuable experience with very different personalities and care needs. Although my own dogs don’t currently live with me, my love for dogs and understanding of their individual needs remain as strong as ever. I work as a freelancer from home, which means I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. Your dog will receive plenty of companionship, attention, and supervision throughout their stay, with very little time left alone. This helps dogs settle in more easily and feel safe and relaxed away from home. I offer a calm, loving, and home-from-home environment where every dog is treated like part of the family. I keep my boarding small, with only a few dogs at a time, so I can give each dog the individual care and attention they deserve. There is also a secure garden for playtime, sniffing adventures, and relaxing in the sunshine. I understand that leaving your furry family member with someone new can feel worrying, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind and let you see how much fun your dog is having during their stay. Your pet deserves the very best care, and I would love to welcome them into my home and make them feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.😊🐾
