Chloe was an absolute star looking after Gizmo. I got in touch with her quite close to the date we were going away, and she responded promptly and was happy to help. My cat, Gizmo, absolutely adored her and we really appreciated her dropping in. She was reliable, friendly and I will definitely be booking in with her again. Highly recommend!

This was my first time using Rover (being a first time pet owner), I was incredibly nervous walking Shi though Peanut’s care plan. However, Shi was excellent with Peanut. He was very comfortable with her and I was very grateful to Shi for looking after him while we were away. I would happily recommend her service and rebook in the future.

Izzy was great! She is very polite and was very good at communicating with us us before the planned visit. She also arranged to meet the dogs before the booking to make sure she understood their needs. On the day of the booking she was very punctual and we had no hesitation is leaving her with them. She obviously loves animals, understands their personalities and needs and how to care for them. I would have no hesitation in booking Izzy again.

About: My brother's German Shepherd, Finn, I have looked after recently for six days while he had an eye infection. Finn is also a rescue with an anxiety condition and so needed medication administered. I also have experience with puppies as well. I feel therefore with my experience and calm demeanour I am a good pet-sitter. It also brings me great joy and contentment to be around pets. It is currently my only method of income, so I have a lot of availability in terms of schedule. This means that unless I have other jobs lined-up or a holiday for example, I will be completely free to care for your pet. In the pet's home I would be with the pet for as long as they needed, whether that meant constantly or only a little bit throughout the day. I also have experience of addressing health needs, and so would be very vigilant with that if needed. Overall I am always contented to be around pets, so would give them one hundred percent of my attention one hundred percent of the time.

It’s quite nerve racking finding someone to care for your new young pup for the first time- but I was very reassured by Theresa’s presence and attitude around dogs. I would highly recommend her. About: I’ve owned cats for many years (three in total) and have extensive hands-on experience with daily cat care including feeding, litter cleaning, and understanding different personalities, from shy to more social cats. I also have experience walking and caring for dogs, including regular walks, following lead etiquette, and sticking to established routines. I currently offer a limited number of dog walks alongside my main focus on cat drop-in visits. I fit pet care around my main work schedule, offering cat drop-in visits once a day or every other day, and 1–2 dog walks per week. I plan visits in advance to ensure I arrive on time and can spend focused, calm time with each pet. My availability is limited so that every visit is consistent and stress-free for the pets. In the pet owner’s home, I follow each pet’s routine carefully, ensuring feeding, litter cleaning are done according to instructions. I handle shy or independent pets gently, always letting them approach me at their own pace. I maintain a calm and safe environment, avoiding hazards and minimizing stress. I supervise pets at all times, keep doors and windows secure, and never leave them unattended in risky situations. In my own home (for dog walks or occasional cat care), I keep the space clean, safe, and quiet, providing pets with a comfortable and calm environment. I treat each pet as an individual and prioritize their safety and well-being above all.

About: I have always had cats, no dogs as I was working full time. I now own a Cavichon/Beagle as I work part time. I used to volunteer dog socialising up until COVID, but we had to stop then. So I started dog sitting and now sit for 2 Whippets, an Australian Labradoodle, a Boston Terrier and a miniature Dashund. I also walked a Vet students Cockapoo for a year. I am mad about dogs. I lost my two elderly cats. So now I only have my dog, who is very laid back. I am now retired so free to walk and Dog sit Mondays to Fridays, Also some weekend availability. I absolutely love dogs and love walking them. I would take great care of your dog and love playing with them too. I have a secure fenced back garden and access to plenty of parks within 15 minutes walk of my house. I am happy to take dogs in my car if they are used to cars. I just love caring for dogs. I am now retired so I can take bookings Monday to Friday so I will have plenty of time to play and walk your dog. I have a secure back garden and a pet friendly house, pets are allowed on my furniture. If I walk your dog I will keep on a lead, and if I am in your home keep all exits secured.

About: I've been passionate about animals for as long as I can remember. During my teenage years, I volunteered at a zoo, where I gained valuable experience caring for a variety of animals and developed a strong understanding of animal welfare. I'm an experienced cat sitter and dog walker, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all personalities and energy levels. I also have hands-on experience raising kittens from my own cat, Salem. I cared for and socialised the litter from an early age, giving me confidence in looking after younger animals as well as adult pets. As a scientist, I'm naturally responsible, attentive to detail, and reliable. I understand how important it is to follow routines, administer care as instructed, and ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have my own transport, which allows me to travel further for drop-in visits, walks, and pet care appointments. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence around, I'll make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. looking after pets is a fun way for me to spend my free time. I am currently available every day of the week, I enjoy a good exercise, so loving dog walks this summer I only offer pet sitting in the owners home as I live with my parents and they do not want additional animals. I have a carrier which can fit a small dog if needed.

Kat is a very caring and professional cat sitter. My cat is not a friendly cat and is wary of most people. Kat works with this and gives her the attention and interaction she can cope with. We had Chloe come by for a drop-in to look after our cats, and honestly, she was wonderful. Our cats absolutely adored her. She sent us cute photos and little updates that made us feel really at ease. She even tidied up the little messes the cats made, which was such a nice touch. When we got back, it was like we’d never even left, the cats were calm and happy(normally they would be really moody when we leave them even for short trips). It’s clear they really loved Chloe. We’d definitely ask her to cat-sit again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, Chloe!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Enfield on Rover is £14.95 per Visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 7,335 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Enfield. About 90% of Enfield sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
