1. michelle w.

“Michelle was brilliant. She helped look after our cat very last minute, and ensured he was in good hands while we were away. She communicated with us quickly, and sent photo updates while she was there. Would definitely recommend her and will be coming to her again in future!”

2. Lucia S.
“Lucia has looked after my current dog "Ruby" several time. Apart from the occasional walks she has also looked after her during a few holidays, some one week and some two weeks long. Ruby is now an older dog and during our summer holiday she looked after Ruby perfectly, making sure to feed the right amount of food and giving medication on time. You can see a shine in Lucia's eyes when she sees Ruby, she really loves dogs and she demonstrated experience handling our large dog with kindness but firmness. I recommend Lucia very much!”

3. Khadijah R.
“Khadijah did a fantastic job looking after my senior cat, Oreo. She was attentive to his specific needs, including his medication schedule and special diet. I appreciated the regular updates and photos that kept me informed. I felt completely at ease knowing that Oreo was in such capable hands. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable and responsible cat care!”

4. Ronan S.
“Ronan looked after my German shepard for 5 days whilst on holiday. He kept us up to date with how Finn was doing, times he was walked at, his demeanour etc. Ronan also made sure that Finn kept to his daily routine which included taking medication. Finn seemed to really take to Ronan in the videos he sent us, listening to recall and using the commands we gave him. All in all, made my holiday a bit more stress free.”

5. Marina S.

“A very late review but Marina was perfect! Exactly what our pup needed and we were so happy she was able to spend some time with him!”

6. Eleanor K.

“Eleanor was flexible, kept in regular contact with me and took good care of my cat. It was just for a few days this time but I would not hesitate to book her next time.”

7. Theresa M.

“Theresa is a very competent dog carer!! As soon as I met her and saw how she interacted with me and my new puppy - Hiro, I knew that all was well. It’s quite nerve racking finding someone to care for your new young pup for the first time- but I was very reassured by Theresa’s presence and attitude around dogs. I would highly recommend her. Thanks again Theresa!!”

8. Emily C.
“Emily recently cared for my puppy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She was absolutely fantastic—handling my pup’s boundless energy with ease and patience. Nothing was ever too much for her. Beyond her incredible care, Emily followed my puppy’s strict diet and medication routine perfectly, ensuring everything was done with precision and attention to detail. It’s clear she truly cares and goes the extra mile for the pets she looks after. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again—highly recommended!”

9. Shi D.

“This was my first time using Rover (being a first time pet owner), I was incredibly nervous walking Shi though Peanut’s care plan. However, Shi was excellent with Peanut. He was very comfortable with her and I was very grateful to Shi for looking after him while we were away. I would happily recommend her service and rebook in the future.”

10. Katarzyna L.

“5 star service. Kat took care of my dog Skye and when I picked her up she was the happiest I’ve ever seen her. I could tell she was well taken care of. I was very worried about Skye however Kat sent lots of photos and videos from walks. Kat is a very reliable and trustworthy person. I will definitely use her services again.”

11. Poppy N.
“Poppy often looks after our cockapoo called Dolly and our 2 cats Mylo and Marley. She is reliable and trustworthy. Poppy will take Dolly on long walks and look after our dog and cats in our home. She is fantastic with them all and they love spending time her. We have peace of mind when we are away or out all day and Poppy is caring for our pets.”

12. Laura A.
“Laura has been looking after my British Shorthair cat, Robbie, for over three years, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She is reliable, caring, and has built a lovely bond with Robbie over the years. I always feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her care—whether it’s for a short visit or a longer stay. Laura is attentive, responsible, and clearly loves what she does. Sincerely, Vanessa”

13. Debbie J.

“Debbie was a fantastic cat-sitter for our cat, Tubbs. Despite Tubbs being very anxious and generally scared of strangers, Debbie’s patience with him paid off and we got lots of photos of him taking biscuits from her hand and eating plenty. Debbie gave us regular updates over the period we were away, and we could see that Tubbs was well looked after and happy, which massively put us at ease. Would definitely recommend to others - thank you Debbie!”

14. Yaminah R.
“Yaminah is a very responsible person and will be a great carer for any pet. As a devoted mum of 2 cats, I can say I feel confident to leave them alone with Yaminah as she is so loving and caring and goes out of her way to make them feel comfortable and happy. Yaminah has the skills needed to sit pets well and often proves this in my own home. Id really recommend her!”

15. Buse K.
“Buse is a lovely person that loves animals very much. She has two sweet cat babies and she takes the best care I've seen anyone with pets give them. Shes very hard working and responsible and I believe she is more than qualify to take care of your pets and love them as much as she loves hers.”

16. Melissa N.
“Melissa is a lovely, considerate, and caring person who adores animals. Her love for cats and dogs is immense and when my sister and I travel abroad, she always seeks to help them by providing stray cats and dogs with food and affection. I believe she would be a very responsible and loving pet caregiver as she is someone who carries a lot of compassion to the vulnerable and is patient. Melissa has a lot of experience in taking care of animals as in the past she has looked after our cousins’ pets.”

17. Paula L.
“Paula is very caring and patient with dogs. She has helped me socialise and walk the dogs in my care over a number of years. And even went on to foster one of the dogs who was struggling to find a home. Definitely a safe pair of hands.”

18. Chloe W.
About: I have been dog sitting on Rover for 2 years now and have looked after many dogs and cats, for drop-ins, walks, daycare, and overnight stays. I have had loads of lovely feedback so far and have a number of repeat pets! I am responsible and adaptable and am trusted by many to look after their animals for extended periods of up to two weeks. I love to walk, play, and chill with animals and I will always leave the house in a clean, safe, and secure state. I am currently an analyst at a cosmetics company, after graduating from Loughborough University in 2022 and working in financial services for 1.5 years. I have previously worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school for a year, taking care of, entertaining, and teaching young children so I know how to be responsible and safe, and I have a good knowledge of health and safety. I do not have specific experience with animals with extra needs like medication or illness, but I am always ready to learn and I am happy to set up a meeting before the booking to see if I am right for your needs. I am currently work full time with 2 days from home (normally Thursday and Friday), so I am available evenings and weekends, and on my work from home days (I will need a WiFi connection at your house in this case). If you need other days please get in touch as I have flexibility. I have a car so can transport myself and your animals to and from your home, to the park, and to a number of the lovely long walking trails around Enfield. I am responsible, have been trusted to unlock and lock homes and deal with alarm systems. I have worked in a primary school and volunteered in a day centre for blind and deaf adults with further disabilities, so I have been trusted around vulnerable. I am able to stick to a schedule, feed animals as instructed, and play with them until they are tired out. I am also able to take them on long walks but I normally prefer to keep dogs on the lead when out of their own home. I am unable to care for dogs and cats in my own home as I have an allergic family member, which is the reason I would love to help out other families with their animals. I am happy to provide copies of my ID and clear DBS check upon request. I am certified First Aid trained by St John’s ambulance (for humans :) ).

19. Jack H.
“Jack has grown up around dogs and is patient, caring and fun! He loves to be outside and walking the dog, either at a leisurely pace (if that’s what the dog wants) or much more energetically too (Jack runs marathons!). Jack looked after Molly for a week while we were on holiday and met all her needs, including company, cuddles, food, play and of course two walks a day. Jack is very conscientious and trustworthy. If he says he will do something he does and is always on time. I have no reservations about recommending Jack to walk your beloved dog. They might fall in love with him a bit, but that’s what you’d want I’m sure!”

20. Jerome W.

“Jerome looked after our cat for a few days and we couldn't be happier with the service. Our cat quickly formed a bond and we think he wanted to stay when we came to collect!”
