About: I am a full time university student studying Fine Art at Westminster University, looking for some summer work while I am on my break. I have such a deep loving for cats, which comes from having had 5 cats as pets over my lifetime so far, however they are at my parents and so I would love to fill this cat shaped gap!
About: Over the years I've dabbled in almost everything regarding canine care, be it working at daycares or grooming salons, training, hydrotherapy, rehab, puppy raising, and senior care. Having a large aging dog pushed me more towards hydro, rehab, and senior care, but I adore pups of all ages and sizes, regardless of whether we're just chilling together or doing some training to bond! Dog care is my full time job; I dedicate most of my time and energy into multiple dogs-- mine, and other people's! I've made a career out of this for over a decade, and don't plan on leaving this industry. I've got three dogs, two of whom are trained AAI dogs with plenty of experience being around dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperament. The last one is a goofy puppy who's happily learning! I live in a two-floor flat within a gated community, and we have a fenced garden. I am also a trained canine/small animal hydrotherapist and know pet first aid.

About: I love dogs and have done since I was little. I have owned two in the past but do not have one at the moment and I miss canine company. I love the honesty and loyalty of dogs and would welcome your furry pal as part of our family. Dogs seem to know I am friendly and are friendly back to me. Our home is the bottom half of a detached Edwardian house in a quiet road and has an enclosed back garden. We have plenty of room for dog company, with only three of us living here. About five minutes' walk away is Harrow Recreation Ground which is large and great for a good exercise session. There are also plenty of other parks and walks within easy driving distance. I'm mainly at home and work part-time around my pet-sitting commitments. My husband and daughter are also here a lot of the time, so there is always plenty of attention for the doggies! We have a fenced garden with a lawn and paved patio area. We are out the back a lot in the summer when the weather is nice.

“Tara looked after our cats over two weeks in August 2025. We found her be super communicative and sent amazing pictures and updates during the sit. Tara really does care a lot about the cats, going beyond simply ensuring their needs are met but making sure they are happy too with pats/play and quality time spent on each visit! Thanks Tara!!”

About: Hi there, fellow cat lovers! I’m a freelance software developer and a devoted cat parent to a 10-year-old gentleman who still thinks he’s a kitten when a ball’s involved. He’s playful, a little mischievous, and has mastered the art of convincing me to drop everything for a good chin scratch session. Living with him for a decade has taught me a lot about the quiet (and not-so-quiet) needs of cats—their independence, their routines, and how much love they give when they trust you. That’s why I offer cat sitting: to help other cat parents enjoy time away with peace of mind, knowing their feline friend is in good hands. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry companion! Ewelina Reliable. Respectful. Cat-approved. I am flexible with my schedule and would be happy to accommodate your booking at a convenient time that works best for you and your needs. Privacy and trust are very important to me. I provide photo updates after each visit for your reassurance. Services include litter tray cleaning, fresh water, feeding as instructed, and dedicated play and companionship.
About: As a dedicated animal lover, I bring genuine care, patience, and attention to every pet I look after. You can count on me to keep your furry friend happy, safe, and loved. Caring for animals fits into my natural schedule as I'm currently at home. I can fit my workload around them, giving them the attention they need including walks, food and training. I have a 3 bedroom house with a fenced off backyard, therefore I have a safe loving environment. I keep them on a routine with regular scheduled meals, exercise & playtime.
About: Hello, I am Christina and I am the owner of a cat and a dog. Unfortunately, I had to leave my cat in Greece when I moved to London but she stays with my aunt. In London, I have a 6-year-old Jack Russel Terrier and she truly is my best friend. I sincerely believe that pets love me as much as I love them and I could really be a great help to owners who cannot spend as much time as they would want with their loved ones. This past year, I completed the Pet Nutrition Diploma, the Pet Psychology Diploma, the Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Diploma and the Veterinary Support Care Assistant Diploma at the New Skills Academy. Furthermore, I am planning on getting a pet first-aid certificate in order to be able to help a pet in need.
About: I have grown up with dogs. My dog is now 13 years old, so I know how to deal with pet young and old. I love a walk myself so happy to walk dogs. I have a great deal of patience with animals. I will provide calm, attentive and trustworthy care for your best friend. I currently work freelance so I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate pet care throughout the week. I'm able to drive and happy to travel around London, when needed. I walk my own dog once a day, but if your dog needs more walks then I'm happy to accommodate this. I have a large enclosed garden with a lawn and an outside warm and cold tap. There is also a large spacious kitchen/ dining room where pets are very welcome to relax / sleep or play.
About: I’ve just returned back to the UK after living in Australia where I also did all different kinds of pet sitting you can think of. I’m now back, working from home and missing that furry friend company! I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life and wouldn’t have had it any other way. Whenever needed I’ve been able to watch, walk, feed and help train friends and families dogs, cats, birds, horses, anything! Always a friendly face around with pets! I am full time employed however have flexible working hours and can be on hand whenever needed for checking in, feeding, walking or even looking after your pet for sitting. Happy to work from yours if they need to be watched for the day too as I have flexible hours and working days. I cannot board pets however always happy to pet sit if needed, as long as we go through any rules within the environment and outside safety first. I would always prefer to meet yourself and your pet prior to booking to make sure you, me and your pet are happy.
About: Hi! I’m Malaya. I’m a young animal enthusiast and first year student at the University of Nottingham. I am originally from London and I’ve grown up with animals my entire life, having owned fish, chickens and ducks at a young age. 10 years on, I have become highly experience in dog care, having both raised and trained a very difficult working line German shepherd, and trained alongside various incredible dog professionals. Together, we have gotten through periods of reactivity and serious handler aggression, and now are beginning our dog sport journey where we have fun dabbling in obedience, scentwork and protection, as well as everything amazing that comes with having a well trained and fulfilled dog! This is something that I long to share and help others, regardless of their goals! Whether it is one day hitting the trial field like I wish to do, or just managing to have a nice trip to the pub or cafe, I’m the kind of dog carer that hopes to help you achieve your aims. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and I’m happy to work with dogs with behavioural issues as well, although this is something that will be thoroughly discussed if needed. My aim is to help upkeep your dog in all aspects during their daily walks to keep you satisfied! Whether that means a tired dog, or a dog that can now impressed guests, I’ll try my best to help you out! Whilst I recognise that sometimes walks in London can be “boring”, walks with me are anything but! Walks with me typically involve: - a lot of play! This play is an amazing way to encourage engagement - a lot of sniffing! Dogs use their noses for everything and there’s no way I’d stop that - a lot of rewards! Whether your dog is a foodie or a toy dog, or even just a verbal praise kind of pup, they’ll be getting lots of it! Creating high value in our relationship is so important - lots of water and lots of shade! We all know how hot summers in the UK can be, and so, in warm weather, we take a lot of breaks and practice some settling in the shade - up-keeping your training plan! While I am not a dog trainer professionally, I am more than happy to keep you any key elements of your dog’s training that you need! I currently attend university a few hours a week so i have plenty of time to dedicate to your pet! For all services in London, I can guarantee almost my full attention due to scheduled breaks! Please note that I will not offer drop-ins and/or overnight stays if anyone is home. This is for my personal safety. When looking after your pets in your home, I hope to be an extension of you personally! Please leave instructions for me to follow (unless verbally communicated) and I’ll be sure they’re done!
About: I provide structured, reliable dog walking in the Harrow area, tailored to each dog’s energy level, temperament, and routine needs. I’m equally comfortable with high energy dogs that need a good run and structured exercise, as well as nervous or reactive dogs who benefit from calm, steady handling and predictable walks. I adapt my approach depending on what your dog needs on the day. Walks are primarily in safe, quiet green spaces and natural routes, giving dogs a chance to explore, decompress, and return home settled rather than overstimulated. I focus on consistency, safety, and clear communication. I’m punctual, attentive, and always mindful of leash control, recall habits, and each dog’s individual behaviour patterns. Whether your dog needs, a fast paced walk, structured exercise, or a calm sensory walk, I adjust accordingly. I stay calm and observant with dogs, especially in unpredictable environments. I don’t rush walks unnecessarily, but I can match higher energy levels when needed for younger or active dogs. My approach is steady, responsive, and focused on keeping dogs engaged and secure throughout the walk. If you’re looking for a dependable local walker who can adapt to your dog’s personality and energy level while prioritising safety and routine, message me for a free meet and greet. I regularly make trips to Rickmansworth to walk friends through Croxley Hall Woods, and closer to home I alternate between Headstone Park and Harrow Recreation Ground. Proper green space, not just pavements. I call all dogs puppies. Every single one. And the only time you'll catch me on my phone is to take photos of them. I'm not a militant walker. Sniffing is actively encouraged. A walk isn't just exercise, it's information gathering, and puppies deserve time to read the world at their own pace. If your dog has homework from obedience school, bring it on. I'm happy to practise commands and routines on our walks. On days I'm home working on music or sound design, my visiting puppies are right here on the couch, very much entertained of course. No unattended guests here, ever. Honestly, I need these walks as much as the dogs do. This isn't a side hustle I picked up last week. It's just how I live. My home is calm, clean and pup friendly. Puppies have access to fresh filtered water at all times. Food and medication go straight into my calendar so nothing is ever late or missed. Your dog eats and takes their meds exactly when they're used to, no exceptions. New puppies don't just get dropped into a group. Introductions always happen on neutral ground first. I watch how they interact before anyone comes home with me, and if I ever feel uncomfortable with a dog's behaviour around others, they become a solo visitor. The safety of animal already in my care comes first. I don't allow unattended roaming in my home. Puppies are supervised throughout the day. I take a five minute break every twenty five minutes. This is when I practise tricks, hand out focused cuddles and love on my pups. Bathroom breaks are on lead. No unsupervised outdoor time. My nearest vet is 600 metres away and I can be there in under six minutes on foot. I know exactly where I'm going if I ever need to move quickly. I keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout the day. You won't be left wondering how your dog is doing.

Zsuzsanna took wonderful care of my cat during my three-week trip, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. She was kind, reliable, and attentive, making sure my cat was happy, and well cared for the entire time. I especially appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I recommend Zsuzsanna to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter I would gladly book her again.

Oh my goodness! How lucky are we to have found Tara to look after our beautiful old Fatty! He's a very vocal Bengal and he's certainly not shy about telling you what he wants! But Tara "got" him immediately and clearly bonded with him, which made us feel very comfortable leaving him be cared for by Tara in our absence. We received daily updates, photos and videos (which were absolutely brilliant!) and made us feel even more grateful to have found such a brilliant, caring person. Oh, and on our return, the place was absolutely spotless! So grateful to Tara and we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her as a first class stand in cat mummy
Janice was wonderful. My cats are quite scared as they are rescues from the RSPCA and had difficult starts in life but she even managed to get them to venture out to see her. Pics were sent and daily updates. Everything was neat and tidy and the cats are happy. Highly recommend and will definitely use her again.

I can’t even begin to thank Ingryd for taking all the stress out of leaving your fur baby at home! She popped in every evening to check on our cat, emptied her litter box, gave treats, and even added ice cubes to her water fountain! Ingryd also watered our plants, and brought in parcels that had been left outside. We won’t hesitate to get in contact next time we go on holiday, and we can’t thank you enough! :)

Jill has just spent a week looking after my cat, Rosie. They are both very fond of each other as can be seen by the very welcome daily videos that Jill sends. Jill is an excellent cat-sitter and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again - and I am sure Rosie agrees!
Evelyne has been an amazing person with so much care, attention, detail and thought looking after my mums cat while was abroad for 3 weeks. She is an excellent communicator and provided exceptional daily updates of Rusty to put my mum at ease. She also went ‘over and above’ with ideas and suggestions to improve his care and she also helped me with a vet appointment. It’s so obvious how much she loves animals and has a genuine care attitude. We will only ever use Evelyne again and consider her a close friend to Rusty as well as she bonded so well with him. I can’t thank her enough or recommend her more highly than this. An absolute gem!!

It was our first time meeting Cathy, and those two weeks were wonderful. We had complete peace of mind. Today is her last day.🥲 Our cat was a bit shy (perhaps a little too much), and Cathy gave him the space he needed. I am so grateful.✨ She was very kind, knowledgeable, and excellent with timing. She kept us fully updated at all times with messages and photos. Thank you for everything; to anyone in need of a sitter—Cathy was absolutely fantastic, without a doubt! 🙏🏻

He kept me updated, followed all instructions carefully, and treated my pet with genuine love and attention. I came home to a happy and relaxed pet, which says everything. We were really pleased to have Tracey. She was very professional and reliable. Our cat, who is usually quite cautious, quickly warmed to her and clearly appreciated the special attention and new toys she brought on each visit. Tracey was thorough and thoughtful in her approach and a genuinely safe pair of hands. We really appreciated the lovely photo's updates after each visit. We would not hesitate to book her again!
It was great to have Milly again! My cats have really taken to her now and give her a lovely welcome when she comes. I am especially pleased that the shy one now feels comfortable enough to even sleep with her! She is conscientious and always keeps me up to date. Highly recommended!

This is the 3rd time I've used Maria for coming to visit and feed my cats, and it won't be the last time. Maria is fantastic, and so attentive. My cats are always so happy to see her and are very sad when her visits are over. She spend time with them and sends daily photos and videos, which is very reassuring. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Maria.

We were away for over ten days during Christmas and Amiee took such great care of our cat, Obiwan. She always stayed for a good amount of time during each visit, genuinely cared about Obi’s feelings, played with him, and kept everything very clean and tidy. Throughout our trip, she sent us regular photos and updates, which gave us real peace of mind. When we came back, Obi was calm, happy, and clearly very well looked after. We’re extremely grateful and would absolutely recommend Amiee.

Priya is the best!!!! She dropped in every few days to watch our lonely kitty cat while we were on holiday for two and a half weeks. She looked after her food and water, litter box, her light grooming needs (she was even able to snip off a little bit of matted hair which is a big deal because our cat doesn’t love any kind of grooming!) She played with our cat and gave her pets, and kept an eye on our house as well. Snow was very well cared for and Priya was SUPER communicative, prompt, professional, and just all around lovely to work with. I would trust her with Snow’s care again, and would 10/10 recommend her as a pet sitter! She’s wonderful.

I’m so happy I asked them to take care of Nancy! I feel like I’ve finally found the people I can always trust whenever we travel. They followed Nancy’s little routines so sweetly, from brushing always followed by playtime as a reward, to her extra-watered food slurping, and even adjusting her little tent made of pillows. They were also happy to take care of my extra requests. I received plenty of photos, videos and updates which made me feel completely at ease. I’ll definitely ask them again next time! And the extra special thing is that they live in the same building as we do – it really feels like a bond. My husband and I live with Nancy, and we were bringing our moms over from abroad for a little London trip. Because of that, they even vacuumed up the cat litter to make sure the apartment was nice and tidy, without me even asking. They are wonderful. 💛 I’m greatful thank you guys 🙏🐾💛

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
